Girl Falls Into One Piece

Chapter 34

Luffy screamed as we ran. "I know your in there, I'm coming Crocodile!"

I sighed. "If he didn't know we were here before, he does now."

We were running up some steps and I tensed at the shooting sounds behind me. Zoro sword under his breath. "Damn, these guys are annoying."

I slowed down and called. "Got it!"

I brought my sword out in a quick move and dived between them, feeling every slash and cut by my blade as I moved away from the Millions. I heard cries of pain as they fell and I smirked, shealthed my sword again. "And that's how you do it."

Zoro gave me a glare as I walked over to them. "Hn, show off. I was going to handle it."

I shrugged. "Eh, too slow."

His glare darkened and I just grinned following the others inside. I blinked at what I saw. It looks like a big casino in Las Vegas in here. I stood next to Luffy, he screamed. "HEY CROCODILE! SHOW YOURSELF!"

My eyes widened in pain and shook, feeling my ears ring worse than before and I slapped my hand over his mouth. I growled. "That's the second time you did that to me, knock it off!"

I saw and felt multiple stares on me and Luffy. i snapped at him. "Stop screaming like that."

I pulled his chin and head toward me and bent down a little so we were both looking each other in the eyes. "Your going to make me go deaf one of these days."

I didn't let go of his chin. His eyes narrowed and I felt him smirk. I glared at him and yelped in shock and disgust when I felt his tongue lick my hand. I griamced and snatched it away, quickly wiping it on his clothes. He said. "Gross, don't do that!"

I scoffed. "You did it in the first place, plus you pick your nose!"

His stuck his tongue out at me. Nami asked, raising an eyebrow. "Are you both done?"

We both said. "Yeah."

A second later Luffy was screaming again. I let out a growl, does he listen. With a snarl, I went to attack him, but I felt a rouch had at my neck, holding me back by my robes. I knew it was Zoro, he was the only one who could hold out on me with strength alone. The people didn't really pay attention to our outburst, they went back to gambling.

Usopp said. "Does anyone even know what Crocodile looks like, only Vivi knows."

Nami frowned. "Speaking of Vivi, where is she?"

I frowned at that and said. "Wait, maybe Crocodile has something on him like his name. Like Crocodile features or Crocodile skinned clothing."

Nami and Usopp snapped. "That's way too obvious!"

I shrugged, I tried. I slapped a hand to my forehead as Nami, Luffy and Usopp stared screaming for Crocodile and Luffy. I shared an annoyed look with Zoro. He just shook his head with a scowl. Luffy turned. "Hey, you know what? I'm thinking they may not come just because we call."

I snorted. "Good one."

"I got you this time, Strawhat!"

I swore. "Shit, it's Smokey!"

"You think you can stroll in anytime, anywhere you like and I won't find you!?"

Luffy backed up. "Not old Smokey!"

At Usopp scream of run, we were running in the casino. He was right behind us and I heard Luffy say. "I'm in no mood to deal with this right now!"

We plowed into three men with suits. I asked Luffy. "Any plans?"

He shook his head. "Nope, how 'bout you?"

"I got nothing. Just keep running."

"Got it!"

I looked behind me to see the others were with us, but unfortanatly so was Smoker. We all saw something that said V. I. P. I had black and golden doors with some steps and a red carpet. A couple of fancy looking people on either side throwing flowers.

"The V. I. P lounge welcomes you."

Nami shouted. "Wait, do you think it could be a trap, maybe?!"

"No time to think about that, run!" Was what I shouted as we got closer and closer to the door.

Zoro said. "Don't these lounge things have free drinks for their guests?"

Luffy shouted. "It's not like we have a choice, run for it!"

I picked up speed and we were almost at the doors. We ran inside when the doors open and I swore loudly with a growl when I saw Smoker following. We were running down a huge hallway until it started splitting. I called. "The hall's splitting!"

Usopp said." It says V. I. P does left and pirates go right!"

Luffy called. "Which way do we go!?"

Zoro shouted. "Decided quick!"

I shouted. "Pirates!"

Nami asked. "What?!"

Usopp called out. "Are you out of your mind!?"

I defended myself. "They'll never expect us to go this way!"

Luffy agreed. "Yeah! Pirates go this way and we're pirates!"

We turned right and saw that it was a blank wall. I laughed a bit. "Huh, I was-ahh!"

I felt my stomach drop down to my feet as the floor turned to a trap door and we all fell. We all yelled as we fell down expect for Zoro and Smoker. After a moment, I calmed down and held my sword tighter to my side. We dropped down after another moment and yelped as my rear hit the ground. I stood up and saw that we were caged in a huge cell of some kind.

Luffy nodded. "Pretty clever trap, huh?"

Usopp also nodded. "Yeah, no way to see that coming."

I nodded too. "Yeah, it was a trap within a trap."

Nami screamed. "What are you talking about!? I told you it was a trap in the first place. I can't believe what a bunch of idiots you are!"

I felt a smack over my head and I winced, turned to face Nami with a glare. "What the hell was that for?"

"It was your brillant idea to go this way in the first place!"

I snapped. "I bet he had two traps or something, like another trap in the V. I. P area."

"You don't know that for sure."

"Like we didn't know the pirate area was going to be trapped." I turned my head to Luffy when I heard him moan about how weak he felt. I frowned and raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Usopp asked. "What, are you hungry or something?"

I snorted, when it came to Luffy that could be true. I felt a tingling on the back of my neck. Suddenly, Zoro shouted. "Luffy!"

I turned only to see Smoker smack Luffy with his weapon. I glared and spun on my heel, already unshealthing my sword with a sharp ring. He pressed the thing to my brother stomach and I glared sharper, ignoring Usopp's babble about taking him on.

I said sharply. "Smokey, back off." I ignored the glare the marine captain gave me.

Luffy whined. "What's wrong, I feel so helpless."

"What're you doin' to him!?" I was getting pissed off.

Luffy said. "It's like when I fall into the sea!"

I frowned and Nami shouted. "Alright! What have you done to Luffy?"

"The tip of this staff is made of a substance called Sea Prism Stone, a rare mineral. It's in a distant sea in the corner of the world. Not much is known about it, but it's believed to give off mystical energy as the same wavelength as the ocean itself. Basically, you should think about it as the solid form of the sea."

Zoro said. "So, it's the same as if Luffy fell in the ocean?"

Smoker said. "Cells in Marine headquarters are build out of that stone, so devil fruit users can't escape."

Nami said. "I bet this cell is made of the same stone."

Smoker looked at her. "If it wasn't, I would've escaped and be gone by now and you 5 would be on your way to prision with your date with the hangman."

I was on Smoker side and Zoro was on the other, my fingers tense against the hilt. Usopp screamed in panic. Nami said. "Besides, what good is a sword against a guy who's made out of smoke."

I muttered. "We'll see." I had a plan.

I darted forward, running through his smoke body and on his other side, infront of Zoro. I used my strength in the next second to knock the metal pole like weapon away from Luffy's chest and we were locked with our weapons. He narrowed his eyes at me and I firmed my feet, glaring back at him. Luffy was panting and I felt a shiver at how weird it was to run through a smoke filled body.

This was my plan, to force him to block with his pole like weapon, since I knew it couldn't turn into smoke. If it wasn't for my abnormal strength, I knew I wouldn't of been able to do it. He tried to push back, but I used strength of my own push back against him. I have to admit, he was strong.

Then he tried to slid his pole down to get away from me, but I pushed my sword upward or downward, leaving them against each other once again.

He growled. "Back off, pirate."

I bared my teeth in something like a grin. "Not a chance, marine."

I heard Nami and Usopp yell something in the backround, Luffy and Zoro were quiet. His eyes glared into mine and I did the same to him. Nami said. "Mace! Knock it off, what's a sword against a guy made of smoke."

I ignored the logical statement and pushed harder against Smoker, making him grunt in effort and match me.

I heard a rough voice say with a chuckle. "She's right, give it up."

I felt my shoulders tense, who the hell was that? Me and Smoker broke away from each other and I looked around to see Usopp and Nami were standing in the back, Zoro was tense with his hands by his swords and Luffy was sitting down a little bit farther from me with his legs crossed. I looked toward the voice and saw an area with a desk and chair with some big window with water behind it.

The voice said again. "Your all going to die together. So why not make an effort to get along first?"

Smoker glared at the chair not facing us. "It's Crocodile."

I snapped my eyes to the chair and felt rage rise up in me, I growled. "Crocodile." He was the guy who hurt Vivi.

Luffy head lifted and he said. "Alright!"

Luffy growled and gritted his teeth. I heard a creak and looked back toward the front. I looked at the guy looking at us. He had slicked back black hair so dark it was almost purple, a nasty grin and a stitched scar that went from one side of his face over his nose and to the other side. It made me wonder who got him that badly. I shook my head from the thought, I needed to focus. He was wearing some weird blue thing around his check, checkered shirt and a long coat with fur at the collar. In all, he looked like the arrogant asshole I thought he would be.

I heard a squeek and looked to see Nami and Usopp with terrified expressions. I shook my head at them, but did say anything. Zoro said. "So, this is one of the 7 Warlords, is he?"

I frowned, sheathing my sword back to my side, but still keeping myself aware. "Hm, seems so."

Smoker said. "Your every bit the low life sea scum I'd have imagined."

Crocodile smiled and said. "My, my. Your every bit the wild dog I heard you were, Smoker. Unlike your surperiors, you never really believed I was on your side, have you? And of course, you were right. You know, Smoker I have a feeling you'll die bravely in the line of duty. I'll be more than happy to inform the government you put up a vallent fight against the vicious Strawhat Pirate here. I haven't got the vaguest idea what brought you to this country. But I'm betting your on your own. We both know the government would never order you to come to this land. They have every confidence in me, a Warlord of the Sea."

I blinked and narrowed my eyes in annoyance, this guys just loves to here his own voice. I heard a punch at the ground and looked to see Luffy glare darkly at Crocodile. He snapped. "You big bag of wind! You're Crocodile!? Come on and fight me like a man, you big du-ahh!" I sighed, since Luffy grabbed the bars, it made him weak.

Usopp yelled at him, calling him an idiot. I walked over and grabbed the back of his clothes, pulling him back to his feet. "Don't touch the bars, Luf."

"Strawhat Luffy, I congradulate you on getting this far, I'll despose of you easily and efficently. Once our special guest of honor has made her appearance."

Nami asked. "Special guest."

Crocodile gave an amused and knowing laugh. "My partner is fetching her as we speak."

I raised an eyebrow, special guest? At her?

I took my sword out and slashed down. My hand tightened around the hilt as it vibrated up my arm. I tried another cutting again. I heard Smoker say. "Pirate, that won't work."

"Still gotta try, Smokey."

"Enough with that name, pirate!"

I grinned at him over my shoulder. "I don't want to, marine."

I ignored his furious look and went back to hacking. Nami sighed. "Mace, it won't work."

I frowned and used more of my strength for more pressure, but the thing didn't even budge. Zoro walked over to me and narrowed his eyes, trying to see if any scuff marks or scratches were left. Crocodile chuckled again and the sound made me grit my teeth. He said. "It's no use, it won't work. Not matter how hard you try, you won't break though."

I growled out. "Yeah? Well, you talk too much!"

I ignored him as he laughed again, that mocking laugh that grated on my patience. After 10 minutes I figured it wouldn't work and put my sword in it's rightful place.

After that Crocodile ignored us and I sat down in annoyance and stretched my legs out in front of me, one ankle on top of another. Since the bars didn't bother me, my back was leaning against them. Luffy and Usopp were also sitting. No use worrying now, we weren't getting out. I heard Luffy say. "Hey look, I'm Sanji. Okay, which one of you ate the meat."

I snorted as Usopp cracked up laughing. Nami was pacing, looking like she was losing her mind. She marched over to them and punched them in the head. I looked to see Zoro sleeping and decided that was a great idea. I crossed my arms over my chest and slouched a bit, falling asleep.

In the back of my mind, I could here Nami screaming and then I heard. "It's afternoon, you moron! Mace, don't you even think about going to sleep."

I lazily gave her a glare. I heard Crocodile say. "Your certainly a high spirited, young lady."

I glared at him, this bastard better stay away from my nakama. He's already in hot water with me for hurting Vivi. Though Nami walked forward and smirked. "Whatever. You better enjoy yourself while you got the time, mister. Because when these guys get out of here, they're going to kick your smug butt up and down the Grand Line like a flabby beach ball. Isn't that right, Luffy?"

Luffy yelled out in agreement. I grinned, Nami may act panicked a lot, but it was times like that she showed how much faith she had in us, not that it was needed, but still. When Nami was sick, she didn't hesitate about going up the mountain. I shivered at the memory of her sickness. That was something I never wanted to go through again, no matter the crew member.

Crocodile said. "Your crew members seem to place a lot of trust in you. Your talents, Strawhat Luffy are foolish. I think trust is completely unnessicary."

I scoffed, what does he know?

Nami snapped, her fists clenched. "Who does he think he is, sneering at us like that?"

Usopp voice was panicked. "Knock it off, Nami. You're just going to make him angry."

I huffed. "Then let her, he can't get in here just like we can't go out there. Plus, I'll kick his ass if he tries anything."

Usopp made a squeeking sound. "Mace, don't say things like that."

"Mace, stop!"

"I'm just telling the truth."

I heard a yell. "Crocodile!"

I tensed in a bit of fear, Vivi! What was she doing?! I turned around and grabbed the bars, looking through them the best I could. I saw her on top of the steps. We all called. "Vivi!"

Crocodile greeting her like the asshole he was. Vivi said. "You have no idea, or how far I would go to see you dead, Mr.0. I wished you died in your cradle, you monster."

She rusged at him with her weapons and my eyes widened. Luffy yelled. "Vivi, wait! First get us out of this thing!"

I yelled. "Oi! Stop!"

She hit it through his check and I flinched back in surprise at result. His head was missing and there was sand there instead. What the hell, was he not human? She landed on the table in front of him. What was this guy, the Sandman?

Smoker said. "Not going to work."

I looked at him. "What're you talking about, Smokey?"

His jaw clenched, but I saw that Crocodile disappeared into sand. I looked at him closer. I felt my eyes dart around, trying to find him. I saw sand gathering around her. I clenched my hands tighter on the bars. I heard him ask. "Feel better? As the leader of this country, you must know that I have the power of the Sand Sand Fruit."

He was behind her and his hand was around her mouth. I growled, leaning my chest closer to the bars. "Let her go!"

I just got a laugh. "Want to become a mummy?"

Luffy screamed. "You leave her alone or I'm warning you right now, I'll kick your ass!"

Crocodile made her sit down. "Have a seat, I'll admit, your timing is perfect. The feast is about to begin. Isn't that right, Ms. All Sunday?"

Now that I noticed it, that All Sunday lady from before showed up. She said. "Yes, it exactly noon right now, time for Operation Utopia."

I blinked. "What the hell?"

Luffy asked. "What an Operation Utopia?"

Crocodile laughed loud and long. I growled in annoyance. "Stop laughing, you bastard and tell us!"

He gave us a dark grin as he said. "It will mean the demise of Alabasta, Miss Wendesday. I'm going to wipe it off the face of the map as if it never was. All people, great or small will be swept in eternal darkness and they'll writh in agony. Let Operation Utopia begin!"

I could feel the grip on the bars slacken and I looked at him with my jaw dropped and eyes wide in shock. The thing that got me was the utter pain on Vivi's expression and eyes.

Well, this is a bit shorted than usual, but I've been busy with school. Thank you for the reviews, until next time on One Piece...ok, not doing that.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
