Kate woke up from the buzz and her alarm. She turn off the alarm first then look at her phone. She got a text from Humphrey.
It says 'Kate I can't come to school, I'm not feeling so well. I puke like at 4 am, so sorry that I can't come'. Kate was saddened about this and began to text back.
'Awww, I hope you feel better, I'm going to miss you'. Kate put her phone down and went to her closet. She took out her clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Meanwhile at Humphrey's house, Humphrey was at his room, coughing really bad. "Holy shit, fucking hurts like hell" Humphrey winced.
Heather poke her head from the door entrance. "Bye Humphrey, I hope you feel better" said Heather as she went downstairs. "HAVE A GOOD DAY AT SCHOOL" Humphrey shouted until cough again.
"Damn" he winced again.
Heather was just at the bottom of the stairs and went to the door. "MOM DAD I'M GOING" she shouted. "Alright honey, have a good day at school" said Sara poking her head around the corner.
Heather smiled and nodded and close the door.
Kate saw Heather got in the car and glance at Humphrey's car. "Poor Humphrey" Kate whimpered. "What's wrong with Humphrey" asked Lily.
"Oh he's not feeling to good so he can't come to school" explained Kate. "Oh that sucks" replied Lily as she got in the car. They drove silently to school with Heather behind them.
Faith, Flare, and Garth are sitting on the steps. They saw Kate and Lily got out of the car. Lily run to Garth and hug him passionately.
Faith saw Kate look disappointed. "Kate, what's wrong" she asked.
"Well, Humphrey is not feeling to well so he can't come to school" said Kate sadly. "Dang that sucks" said Faith.
The bell ring and everyone went inside. Kate open her locker, grab her stuff and went to class. Everyone waited for attendance. "Kate Collins" announced Mr Lee. "Here" Kate responded.
"Humphrey Foster" announced Mr Lee. No response but Kate responded. "Humphrey's not feeling to well so he's at home" said Kate.
Mr Lee nodded and continue the attendance. Kate was working on some problems.
She was struggling on her two last problems. Kate look next to her to see Humphrey for help but she see an empty seat. Kate sigh and began finding the answers.
Kate miss Humphrey with her. And so did Humphrey, he wish he can go to school but he's not feeling to well and did not want to get Kate sick.
(Time Skip: 4th Period)
Lilac went and sit next to Kate. "Hey Kate, where's Humphrey" asked Lilac. "Humphrey's at home, not feeling to well" said Kate.
Lilac gave her a hug. "I'm sure you will see him soon" comforted Lilac. "Maybe but I don't want to see him in pain" replied Kate.
"I know" said Lilac. They both continue working on their work. While at Humphrey's house, Sara was giving some medicine to him. "There there Humphrey, that should do it" said Sara.
Humphrey gulped and grab the water and drink it. "I hope so" said Humphrey. Sara smiled and left the room.
Humphrey laid down on his bed, make him self comfortable, thinking about Kate. 'I hope you doing well Kate' he thought.
"There done, are you done Lilac" asked Kate. "Almost there" said Lilac as she kept looking at her work, writing on it. Kate began to kick back and relax, thinking about Humphrey.
'I miss you so much Humphrey' she thought.
"Okay done" said Lilac snapping Kate back to reality. "Oh great" said Kate cheerfully. The bell ringed and everyone went to lunch.
Kate open her locker and then, Faith, Flare, Lily and Garth came to her. "Hey Kate" greeted Faith. "Hi Faith" said Kate as she close her locker and went to lunch with her friends.
They sat down on their table as Kate pulled out her phone and began texting to Humphrey.
K: Hey Hummy
H: Hey Katiepie
K: I miss you so much
H: I miss you too
K: What are doing
H: Laying in bed, watching some movies
K: Can I join you so we can have...fun time
H: Oh yes
Kate smiled and began to lick her lips. "Oh I see what's going on here" said Faith smiling. "Of course you do, everyone do" smirked Kate. "We did it before and so did you guys" giggled Kate.
Flare and Faith blushed and rub the back of their head. Kate went on and focus back on her phone.
K: Hehe I know you like it
H: You always know
K: :)
H: :)
Just then, the bell ringed and Kate sigh in disappointed.
K: Hummy I wish I can talk but I had to go to class
H: Aww okay see you 2moro I love you X
K: I love you too X
Kate turn off her phone and went to class.
Humphrey smiled and put his phone on the top of the drawer and focus on the TV.
(Time Skip: After School)
"Heather" said Kate walking up to him. "Yes" replied Heather. "Tell Humphrey to get better because I really miss him so much" said Kate giving her a cute look on her face.
Heather giggled. "Alright" she said. And with that, she got in the car and drove off. Kate smiled and glance at Lily and Garth.
"I love you" said Lily. "I love you too" replied Garth. They lean in and kiss on the lips. "You guys are making me jealous" said Kate playfully. They broke the kiss and smirked.
Lily waved at Garth seductively and Garth blew a kiss to her. Lily pretend she caught it and gesture towards her vagina. Garth widen his eyes and drooled.
She laughed and went inside Kate's car with Kate.
Meanwhile at Humphrey's house, Heather rush upstairs and into Humphrey's room. "Hi Humphrey" greeted Heather smiling.
"Hey Heather" Humphrey replied. "How you feeling" asked Heather as she sit next to him. "I'm feeling great" Humphrey responded.
"Kate says she really miss you so much" said Heather. "Aww I miss her too" whimpered Humphrey. Heather rolled her eyes and went to her room as Humphrey smiled and laid down on his bed.
He got up and look outside the window and glance at Kate's house. "I'll see you tomorrow Kate" he said.
