Chapter 8 : Nash rises again
Shark look at his left and saw a Barian "Who?" was all he could say.
"I will tell you later " The barian said sounding female "But we need to get you out of here"
Getting the idea Shark ran abandoning the duel just as Dento started to thaw. Once he was close to the female barian, she open the overlay network and Shark dove into it. Shark's rescuer followed him into the opening. Shark flow through the network behind the barian and her studded her.
The barian had tan skin with silver gems dotted on her body. Her cloths we the most oddest part her top look like a sports bra (living with a sister and one that did sports Shark had seen all the types of bras). She didn't seem to have a bottom like most females, but seem to have pants which was weird because Barians didn't really have pants in their true forms(some might argue about Alito and Girag). Shark could see that the barian had black hair and he thought about was he could about her eyes, blue was what he could see. ' The only one I can think that has blue eye is Mizar, but he isn't a barian again and he isn't tan colored Shark thought remembering that Mizar had been yellow.
They exit out of the network and shark immediately was hugged by Yuma.
"Shark you're ok" Yuma ballad crying like he was a waterfall.
"Yuma get off" Shark said trying to get the younger boy off him.
Yuma did and wiped his eye "I'm just happy you're alive" he said.
"We all are" Dumon said with a smile.
Shark turn to the barian "All right you are you?" he demanded
"You know me Nash" The Barian said. Her voice sounding like telepathy mix with echolocation. "But you will see in a second" as she said the the glow of a barian battlemorph dissipating appeared, one the glow stop they saw Siri standing where were the barian stood.
"Siri?" Shark asked then he remembered and face-palmed "The ice I should of known".
"I half expected that you won't know" Siri said "Up until know you didn't know if I had a barian from or could use barian battlemorph".
"Let's get out of here" Mizar said looking around "Dento might try and track us".
"That is a good idea" Rio said.
"I wouldn't put it past Dento to try tracking" Siri said opening the overly network again.
"Shark what type of deck did Dento use?" Astral asked. The group were back at Draken's house.
"The card had the word servant in them" Shark said "So I guess a'Servant' deck that focus on one getting the opponent's monster and keeping Dento and his monsters safe"
"That's Dento's deck" Draken said coming over and handing Shark a glass of water."A big pain in the butt, huh"
"Yeah"
"Reginald" Rio said putting her hand on his shoulder "What happen during the duel?"
Shark told the others about the duel "Thankfully Siri stopped the duel before Dento could get Abyss" he finished.
"Facing Abyss without Crystal Zero"Alito said "That must be very hard"
"And I didn't have any way to get Black Ray Lancer back from the graveyard and give it an overlay unit"Shark said thinking about the card then about the barian card he had use ageist Yuma 'If only I had that card then I would have been more in control'
"If You're thinking about Number 101 "Draken said "You should know that the only way to use him is if you're Nash"
Shark look up "You read my mind didn't you"some what yelling at the Barian."Why did you do that?"
"Yes I did" Draken admitted with a shrug "First you nor anyone else told me not to and second I saw your face say that you might want to turn back into Nash"
"Shark do you really want that?" Kite asked.
Shark didn't answer, did he really want to become Nash just to use a card?
"If I do become Nash what will the rest of you do?" Shark asked. He asked that more of the other former barian and some what to Yuma, Astral and Kite.
"I will stand by you no matter who you are" Astral said "As Nash you fight with me and Yuma. A Barian, an Astral being and A human work together then and they can do it again."
"Astral is right" Yuma said. "We can work together."
"While we were enemies before" Kite said "We can ban together to fight a new enemy"
"If you're asking whether or not we will follow you in becoming a barian" Dumon said "I would first like to see if we can become barians again"
"I would too" Rio said.
"I sort of miss using Tachyon Dragon" Mizar admitted "But I have Dragluon now"
"What do you think Ponta?" Girag asked looking at the raccoon-dog.
"We were together before" Ponta said "And we will stay that way"
"Fighting is apart of me no matter what I am" Alito said.
Vector didn't answer verbally, he shook his head. He know that the others had given some indication that they would be ok turning back, Vector however didn't want to become a barian again.
"Vector you don't want to become a barian again?" Yuma asked "Why?"
"Think about it Yuma" Vector said "You know what I've down. I don't want to mess up the chance I have by becoming the mad prince" he sounded serious about the last part.
"So for sure Shark, Rio, Dumon, Mizar, Alito and Girag will be willing to become barians again" Draken said look at the group.
"Yes" came six replies
"Nash I need to know now if you are turning back" Draken said " If you don't you might not get another chance"
Shark look at the older barian. It was now or never. This choice could change everything. It was like the first time he had found out he was Nash, but this time Shark didn't have to cut his ties with Yuma. "Barian world is now apart of Astral world, so why would Nash be need?" Shark asked of no one.
"That may be true" Siri said "But the Barians there might need their leader so they feel safe. I would"
"What about Eliphas?" Yuma asked thinking about the Will of the Astral world.
"Yuma does have a point" Astral said.
"He could work together with the emperors who return" Siri said "but Shark must choose whether to first become Nash then we can figure out how to rule the Barian/Astral world"
"I'll become Nash again" Shark said standing up "I want to see if you can do that before the others try"
"Alright then" Draken said with a smile. "Follow me"
Shark stood in the machine that Draken had indicated before. Draken was typing on the keyboard. "Will this hurt?" Shark asked.
"No I made this as painless as I could" Draken said "All you with feel are a sensation like goosebumps"
Everyone else was standing( Astral was floating) around the machine. Vector was talking with Siri about half barians and the possibility of them having barian forms.
"Do you think that other half barians could have a barian form?" Vector asked.
"Maybe" Siri said with a shrug "But I don't know of others like me"
Vector nodded there could be other but they might have found out and live in Barian world to hid they weren't full barian. "Well if you go to Barian world do you think you could find out if there are other half barian" he said.
"We'll see" Siri said with a smile.
"I will start the transformation now" Draken said his finger over a red button. "Once your done you maybe in human form if that happens do you want be me to make the energy like Baria?"
"First was is Baria?" Shark asked not remembering the name.
"A local name for Barian World" Draken explained.
"Right" Shark said "Second if that does happen I would like that"
Draken nodded and pushed the button. The door closed and they couldn't see Shark then the machine glowed red.
Shark couldn't really feel his body and he guessed that was good the goosebumps feeling was there too. He had close his eyes because of the bright light. In Shark's mind he saw his first life as the human Nash who had on golden armor over a mesh shirt, gauze on his left arm, a light brown shirt, silver pants, a blue cape, and the barian emblem was on his chest as pendant. The emblem was a stylized blue Fleur-de-lis with a cross-section that encloses a red diamond-shaped gem at center.
"What?" Shark asked in surprise.
"So you're me" The king version said.
"Why are you here?" Shark asked.
Nash just shrug "Who knows"
"Well I want to know" Shark demand.
"Fine" Nash said "I'm here because of the original reason we become a barian"
"Original reason?" Shark asked then remembered his army and Isis. They had gone to Barian after they were killed in that shadow game he had play with Vector. When he had first died He had regret in his heart and soul, so instead of going to Astral world (this was because he had Abyss Splash) he went to Barian world. "So I want to return to them, and I can now" As he said this the goosebumps stop. 'I must be done' he thought and open his eyes.
Rio had been nervously hovering around Draken during her brothers transformation back to Nash.
"My Lady" Draken said "Your brother is fine if I was intending to hurt Nash or anyone else I would have done it after getting all of you down here the first time."
"Alright" Rio said after a minute.
"How long does the process take?" Dumon asked just as worried for his friend as Rio was for her brother.
"It depends" Draken answered
"On what?" Mizar asked come up to Dumon's shoulder.
"On the person" Draken said then explained more of what he meant "If the person had a conflict in their past or any time in the last year. Regret,denial or just finding a reason why they become a barian are many examples"
"So how quickly they except that is how long it takes to become a barian" Alito asked having come over after hearing that denial would slow the process down.
"Pretty much" Draken said then turn to see the light fading. "Siri get ready to turn the energy up"
Siri who was now trying to get Ponta to stop shivering when he was near her look up"On it" she walk over to a lever and put her hand on it.
Draken pushed the open button once the light stop.
Shark step off and on to the floor and saw that he was the same as before. "So I'm still human" he said then look at Draken" It didn't work"
"Actually it did work" Draken said "And we can show you it did. Siri pull the lever"
Siri did and she transformed into her barian from.
"Fine" Shark said "Barian Battlemorph" Shark glowed a red color . The group watch as Shark become Nash once more. Nash the Barian appear before them once the light stop. Nash had magenta skin and red and blue heterochromatic eyes with aqua markings on his face. He had a crimson cape and copper-colored guards on the wrists, shoulders, and his legs were tipped with red stones and had a 'H'-shaped belt. The Barian Emblem pendant was larger and was engraved onto his chest. His tentacle-like hair had gained more volume and he also had a copper-colored crown piece with a red jewel on his forehead.
"Wow"
"So did work" Nash said look at himself
"Yes it did" Draken Said with a smirk.
