Siri: Yes and there will be a mention of two or more characters form the show naruto

Yuma: but I didn't duel him in the show, I dueled his horse as a human

Mach: Yes you did, but my master will use both the cards I used and his own deck

Yuma: what

Dragonwolf: That will take some time to wright and Dumon might use No. 44, or not

Yuma: That is not comforting

Siri: Dragonwolf doesn't own Yu-gi-oh zexal or naruto only the O.C.

Chapter 12: Yuma vs Dumon (the helping hand)

Yuma felt like he couldn't breathe or speak. So, he did the only thing he could think of, he turn and ran.

"Yuma" Alito call after him "Looks like I've been rejected"

Yuma ran not really caring where he was going. He end up in Draken's library and hid in the Roman section. "Why me?" he asked starting to panic. "It's okay that he isn't giving up dueling, but he love me that's not right"

"Yuma?"

Dumon was in the library looking through the section that reminded him of the library in the emperor's castle. He was looking for something to help him find out as to why Draken would give him the Pegasus. Dumon found a book call:

Barian Courting

"This might help me" Dumon said sitting in a chair to read and turn to the chapter that he need.

Why crystals are important in barian courting.

Many young barians ask why older one give each other crystals that are shape in different ways like an animal or a flower. The answer is that the crystals is what the barian use to say he/she love the other barian. The recipient can be a male or female, for same gender relationship have happen in the past. Children play courting by giving each other plan rocks. This gets them ready for the real thing. When a barian accepts that mean they also accepts the giver's feelings, the two then talk about the future and what that entails, like kid(s). When rejected the barian will act differently depending on how they were rejected. An example is just asking why they didn't accept.

Dumon would have read more, but he heard the door open and slam. Getting up he follow the sound of someone talking fast to themselves.

"It's okay that he isn't giving up dueling, but he love me that's not right"

Turn the around the shelf Dumon saw Yuma looking like he was panicking "Yuma" Dumon asked "What are you doing here?"

Yuma jump at Dumon's voice. While he look calm on the outside, Dumon guessed that he was still panicking. "I don't know." Yuma said looking around.

"What did you mean about a male loving you not being right." Dumon asked wanting to know why Yuma would hided in a library of all places.

"Alito just told me that he love me" Yuma said still sounding like he was panicking "I thought he love dueling or fighting."

"Is that really a big deal?" Dumon asked as he leaned against the shelf.

"Yes it is" Yuma said now sounding angry.

"Why love is love" Dumon said. "You love dueling, right?"

"That's different" Yuma snapped. "Yes I love dueling, but that is different than the love Alito feels towards me"

Dumon didn't answer, mainly because he was thinking. Yuma wasn't acting like Yuma that he know. Yuma only panicked when it came to dueling and he when he thought he was late to school. But this Yuma was not the fun and hyper boy who fought to save the world, this was a boy that didn't know how to handle someone from outside his family telling him that the other person loved him more than a friend. "First of all Yuma calm down" Dumon said after a minute. "Second think of the time Alito is from"

"What does that have to do with my problem?" Yuma half asked, half yelled.

"I said calm down" Dumon said in a voice that held authority "To answer you, Yuma, Alito is from a time where same gender relationships where culturally accepted"

"Huh?" Yuma asked confused. "What accepted?"

'At least he is calm' Dumon thought "Culturally mean that it in one's society or cultural"

"So like dueling is enjoyed all over the world?" Yuma asked trying to get what he was just told

"Pretty much" Dumon answered.

"What's wrong with Alito?" Girag asked Siri who had gone to see why Yuma and run off and why Alito was now acting like Hashirama Senju from Naruto.

"I feel like Madara" Siri said to herself(she had yelled at Alito to get out of his depression, it didn't work) to Girag she said "Alito thinks he has been rejected "

"That no reason to get depress" Quarto said. "Why was he rejected?"

"Because Alito is gay and in love with Yuma" Vector said bluntly.

"Yuma you have to talk with Alito" Dumon said.

"No" Yuma said.

"You have to" Dumon repeated.

"Why should I?" Yuma asked.

"Because" Dumon said feeling like a parent telling the child that they have to share "If you don't love Alito back. You have to tell him, he deserves to know. Running away isn't going to make anything better"

"Still not going to do it" Yuma said. folding his arms.

"Where is your feeling the flow sprit" Dumon nearly shouted "If you take thing as they came, then you should be back in the lab talking with Alito"

"Why are you here any way" Yuma yelled back.

"I'm look for things to help me with Rio" Dumon said in a calm manner "But right know that isn't the most important thing right now. If Alito doesn't know how you feel he might asked to be change back into a human. Now answer me this did you start to care for Alito around the time you first met him or when you found out he was a barian?" he asked.

"WHAT"

Vector wince form the volume form both Tori and Cathy, everyone else had they moths open except Siri.

"Way to go carrot head" Siri said.

"He" Vector said point to Quarto" Asked"

"Was that a secret?" Tori asked. She was the most calm of the two. Cathy was being restrained by Rio, so she wouldn't attack Alito.

"No" Vector said to her surprise.

"Tori do you mean that Alito love someone or that he love Yuma?" Siri asked.

"That Alito love Yuma" Tori said.

"Not me it wasn't" Vector said "I had thought about using that to being Yuma down, but as I thought about it I found it won't have work"

"You were insane" Shark said which earned him a glare form Vector.

Draken had not look up through the hole thing 'Love is something powerful' he thought 'Dumon, Yuma is near you right?'

'Yes' Dumon answered 'I'm not sure what I do to get Yuma to talk with Alito'

'A duel might work' Draken said 'With the terms that if you win Yuma has to talk with Alito, if Yuma wins he can do as he pleases'

'Thank you' Dumon said.

Dumon wait for Yuma answer during that time Draken and given him the answer he need to get through to Yuma.

"I guess around when we first duel really" Yuma said.

Dumon nodded "Speaking of duels I challenge you to one"

"What" Yuma said "Why are you doing that?"

"To get through to you" Dumon explain "And we duel with terms"

"What are they?" Yuma asked in a serious voice. He didn't mess around in duels

"If I win you talk with Alito" Dumon said happy that thing were going in the direction he wanted "If you win I'll let it go and stop bugging you"

Yuma thought for a minute. He had never duel Dumon before even after he had come back to life. "I'll do it" he said finally.

Dumon found a more open part of the library for them to duel in. He and Yuma got their duel pads ready and Yuma put on his duel gazer.

"I'm the challenger I'll go first" Dumon said. he drew his card "I summon Star Seraph Scout in attack mode"

[ A wing like monster appeared ( Atk-1200 ,Def- 1800, Level 4, Light Attribute)]

"Now I use Star Seraph Scout's effect" Dumon said "When normal summon I can summon another Star Seraph. I chose Star Seraph Sword" he put the monster card in the monster card zone.

[ a winged swords monster appeared( Atk- 1400, Def- 1000, level 4, Light Attribute)]

"Are you going to summon your over 100 number?" Yuma asked.

"Normal I would" Dumon said "But this time I'm using an old fiend"

"You don't mean" Yuma said getting nervous he know who would be coming.

"Yes I do" Dumon said as his two monsters turn into yellow balls of light "I overlay my two level 4 Star Serph Scout and Sword and build the overlay network. I Xyz Summon Number 44: Sky Pegasus! Now arise my mighty steed. Awake from your age-old sleep and soar down to this world! Display your full splendor and might to this lowly creature!"

[An white armored winged horse appeared( Atk- 1800, Def- 1600, Rank 4, Light Attribute)]

"Not good" Yuma said "Both of us know how hard it is to defeat him"

Dumon did know, he had seen it. He also knew his monster weakness like all xyz monsters that once out of overlay units their effects were no more unless they had effects that can be used without overlay units. While he would normally not use his opponent's distress or confusion to help him win, Dumon saw that this would make Yuma more cautious and he would use that to win.
