Six months has passed since the number war. Yuma and the others have become use to their live until Yuma runs into someone. The person is a girl named Siri and she need help. Yuma and his friends decide to help Siri and her father. While the group runs into the normal problems, the former Barian Emperors have to decide whether or not to become Barians again.

13. Chapter 13

Dragonwolf: Now here is the rest of the duel and I wrote this fast

Yuma: Am I going to win or lose

Siri: we will have to see and you did it has just in one day

Dumon: this will be interesting

Vector: can i watch?

Siri, Dumon and Yuma: NO

Chapter 13: Yuma vs Dumon ( The Duel)

"Hi Mach" Yuma said.

The horse snorted, which Yuma took as a hello.

"Mach said hello" Dumon said as he took two cards from his hand and put them in the spell/trap card slot "And I set two cards."

"Right, my turn, I drew" Yuma said drawing his card " First I summon Goblindbergh"

[A goblin in a aviator outfit driving a red plane appeared( Atk- 1400, Def-0, level 4 Earth Attribute)]

"Next I use Goblindbergh's effect to Summon Gagaga Magician" Yuma continued.

[ A magician with chains and a mask appeared with a shout 'Gagaga' ( Atk- 1500, Def- 1000, level 4, Dark Attribute)]

"I know what you're summoning" Dumon said.

"I overlay my two level 4 Goblindbergh and Gagaga Magician" Yuma said as the monsters turn into the balls of light "Appear number 39 Utopia"

[ A warrior with yellow armor appear( Atk- 2500, Def- 2000, Rank 4, light Attribute)]

"Now Utopia Attack Sky Pegasus with Rising sun slash" Yuma pull out its sword and charged at the other monster, but before the attack could connect Dumon activate a trap that Yuma know all too well

"I activate the trap Intrigue Shield " Dumon said. This card had a shield with two pegasi on it. The shield appeared in between the two monster and shattered from Utopia's blade. "I believe I don't need to tell you what this trap does"

Yuma growled "No you don't" he said then put two card in the spell/trap card zone "I set two card and end my turn".

"Then it is mine" Dumon said as he drew his next card "I play pot of greed to draw two more cards"

"Even I know that" Yuma yelled "You don't say the effect of the last card, but you said this card's effect"

"I even wonder why people always say the effect of this card" Dumon agreed as he drew the two cards "I summon Star Seraph Sage in attack mode"

[ What appeared to be blue books appeared( Atk- 1600, Def- 1400, level 4, light Attribute)]

"Next by sending a spell card from my hand to the graveyard" Dumon said putting the card in his graveyard "I can summon another Star Seraph and I chose Star Seraph Scepter"

[ A green scepter appeared( Atk- 1800, Def- 400, level 4, light Attribute )]

"I'm not done by it's own effect I summon Star Seraph Sovereign" Dumon said.

[ A yellow chair appear( Atk- 800, Def- 2000, level 4, Light Attribute)]

"Last because I summon Star Seraph Sovereign. I can draw a card and if it is a Star Seraph I can summon it" Dumon said and drew the card after looking at it Dumon put it in his hand.

Yuma let out the breath he was holding. The card wasn't a Star Seraph monster, but that didn't mean it wasn't a monster. He guess that Dumon must have gotten the Druid monsters. "Let me guess you're going to summon you over 100 number now" He said.

"You are corrected" Dumon said "I overlay my three level 4 Star Seraph Sage, Scepter, and Sovereign and build the overlay network. Appear Number 102 Star Seraph Sentry"

Yuma watch as Dumon summoned his second most powerful monster.

"They're dueling?" Rio ask wanting to know where Yuma and Dumon were.

"Yup" Draken said "They're dueling, so that Yuma would come back and talk to Alito"

"Do you think Dumon will win?" Girag asked. Girag had told Draken that he'd only become a barian again when Alito was okay.

"I have faith in Dumon" Draken said with a smile "Do you want to know why?" he add.

"I would" Shark said.

"Here is the reason why" Draken said "What do both Sky Pegasus and Star Seraph Sentry have in common?"

"What does that have to do with Dumon's chance of victory?" Mizar asked angrily.

"You mean other than being owned by Dumon?" Vector asked. He was rubbing his head, After glaring at Shark, Siri hit Vector on the head, hard. Taking pity on the other half barian, Siri had used her power to some what heal Vector. Unfortunately Vector still had a headache.

"Yes other than that" Draken said.

Shark was think about the two monster. Having face Star Seraph Sentry and having seen Sky Pegasus, he know both of their effect. It hit him like one of Yuma's hugs. "Both monster can reduce points. Life points for Sky Pegasus and Atk points for Star Seraph Sentry" he said with wide eyes.

[ A winged warrior also in yellow armor appeared( Atk- 2500, Def-2000, Rank 4, Light Attribute)]

Yuma was scared, mostly because he had never face Dumon's over number before, so he didn't know what its effect was.

"First I use Star Seraph Scepter's effect" Dumon said "When I use it as an overlay unit I can target one card on the field and destroy it. I chose you're left face- done" the card was shot by the ghost of Star Seraph Scepter. "Then I use Star Seraph Sentry's effect, by use one overlay, I chose a monster on my opponent's side. Halve its attack points and negate it affects" The monster's overlay unit went into its arrow and Star Seraph Sentry shot at Utopia. The arrow went through Utopia's chest.

[Utopia: Atk-2500- 1250]

"Utopia" Yuma called to him monster.

"Now Sky Pegasus attack Utopia" Dumon ordered. The wing animal charged at Utopia.

"I activate the trap card Half Un Broke" Yuma said. The card showed a lot bubbles, some came out and surrounded Utopia. "This trap prevents my monster being destroyed and cuts the damage in half"

[ Yuma: 4000- 3725]

"Nice play Yuma" Dumon said "Now Star Seraph Sentry attack Utopia maybe you're succeed when your comrade failed" The wing warrior pulled back it arrow and shot

"I activate Half Un Broke again" Yuma said.

[ Yuma: 3725-3100]

"I end my turn" Dumon said.

"They do?" Siri asked

"Yes" Shark said "I should know I face Star Seraph Sentry before"

"I've been thinking of something" Bronk said. "The Mythyrain and over 100 numbers we know they are connected, are their effects similar?"

"No" Shark said while Rio shuck her head "My Mythyrain Number effect increases its attack points, my over 100 number can use special summon monster as overlay units"

"Does your differ too?" Siri asked looking at Rio who nodded.

"Mine is similar" Vector said "Both stop effects and deal damage"

"Speaking of Numbers" Astral said "Do the Elder Barians have their own Numbers?"

"Yes we do" Draken said then pulled out a card to show them. It was a yellow mouse like monster. "This is Number -2: Lightning Mouse"

"Negative Numbers!" The group said.

"I draw" Yuma said then he look at his hand "First I play Xyz Treasure, since there are three xyz monster, I can draw three more cards"

"Let's hope you can get what you need" Dumon said as Yuma drew the three new cards.

"Next I summon Ganbara Knight" Yuma said.

[A knight in armor with two shields appeared( Atk-0, Def- 1800, level 4, Light Attribute)]

"Finally because all my monster that have levels are level 4 I can summon Doggy diver" Yuma said

[ What appeared to a dog in scuba gear Appeared( Atk- 1000, Def- 1000, level 4, Dark Attribute)]

"You're going to xyz summon another rank 4 monster" Dumon said

Yuma ignored Dumon "I overlay my level 4 Ganbara Knight and Doggy Diver to build the overlay network And xyz summon Heroic Champion- Excalibur"

[ A warrior in red armor appeared( Atk-2000, Def- 2000, Rank 4, Light Attribute)]

"I use all Excalibur's overlay units" Yuma said "To double its Attack points"

[ Excalibur: 2000- 4000

"Now attack Star Seraph Sentry" Yuma said "I know the only way to destroy a number is with another number, but you will still take damage"

Excalibur slashed at Star Seraph Sentry, like Yuma said Dumon's number wasn't destroy.

[Dumon: 4000- 2500]

"I end my turn" Yuma said he would have use Utopia to attack Sky Pegasus, but Utopia's attack points didn't return to normal and the trap card was still in effect.

"Wise move, I draw" Dumon said and drew his card "First I'll use Star Seraph Sentry's ability to half your Excalibur's attack points which means it really goes back to normal"

[Excalibur: 4000- 2000 ]

"Now I'll Use Sky Pegasus's effect to destroy Utopia" Dumon said "Yuma will you let your monster be destroyed or pay 500 life points?"

"What do you think Dumon" Yuma said "I'll pay the life points"

"Fair enough" Dumon said " You lose 1000 lifepoints" Sky Pegasus flew towards Yuma

[Yuma: 3100- 2100]

"Sky pegasus attack Utopia" Dumon said

"I play Half Un Broke again" Yuma said.

[Yuma: 2100- 1800]

"Star Seraph Sentry attack Excalibur" Dumon said not fazed by the move.

"I Summon Rainbow Kuriboh" Yuma said holding out the card "I equip it to your Sentry now it can't attack"

[A ball with fins and a rainbow crest appeared( Atk- 100, Def- 100, level 1, light Attribute)]

The monster made a rainbow trail around Star Seraph Sentry stopping the attack.

'I wonder when he drew that card?' Dumon thought. "I end my turn"

"Are you ever going to summon your Cxyz?" Yuma asked wanting to know if Dumon plan on using it.

"Maybe" Dumon said not waiting to give away is plan.

Yuma drew his card 'What now' He thought looking down at his cards. "Alright Utopia attack Sky Pegasus"

Utopia charged at Sky Pegasus

"Now I activate the spell card Ego Boost' this gives one monster 1000 more atk points" this card had a kid with an muscular avatar.

[Utopia: 1250- 2250]

"Nice try Yuma" Dumon said " But I activate Intrigue Shield"

Utopia once again hit the shield

"Utopia' s attack may have been stopped, but Excalibur can finish the attack" Yuma said. Excalibur slashed Sky Pegasus although the horse wasn't destroyed.

[Dumon: 2500-2300]

"Even if it is a bit of damage" Yuma said " Damage is still damage"

"You're right Yuma" Dumon said "But on my next turn this duel will be over"

"We will see" Yuma said "I end my turn"

"My turn" Dumon said as he drew his card "Rainbow Kuriboh's effect only prevents my monster from attacking right?"

"Yes" Yuma said nervously.

"This turn I will end this duel" Dumon said.

"How?"

"First I use Sky Pegasus's last overlay unit." Dumon said "Is your answer the same?"

"Of course" Yuma said "I'll never destroy one of my monsters"

[Yuma 1800-800]

"Sky Pegasus attack Utopia one final time" Dumon ordered.

[Yuma 800-550]

"Finally I activate the spell card Seething Seraph Starburst" Dumon said as his last card flip up. Showing his over 100 number "When a monster that belongs to my opponent is destroyed and I have a Star Seraph monster on my field. I inflict 1000 points of damage to my opponent"

[Yuma:550-0]

Dragonwolf: Now might be a good time to explain Half Un Broke card right?

Siri: Yup

Dragonwolf: I first use Half Unbreak a lot then I went back and read the card could do

Dumon: You made a fan-made upgraded card of Half Unbreak that can last as long as the monster you use it on still on the field

Dragonwolf: You're right and other then two Star Seraph monsters and the Half Un Broke card are used by both Dumon and Yuma.

Yuma: I lost

Siri: yes you did and now you're Alito's boyfriend i think

Dragonwolf: I'm not going to answer that
