Everyone widen their eyes. "W-What" asked Kate as tears weld up below from her eyes. "I'm sorry for your lost but you may say goodbye to him" said the doctor opening the door.

All the tears came down and covered Kate's cheeks and it goes the same thing to Heather, Felix, Sara, and Flare as they go inside the emergency room.

Humphrey's body was covered in sheets. They can't see his face because it was covered. Kate got there first and was on his right side. She grabbed the sheets and pulled it away.

They all gasped and saw his lower jaw, neck, and upper chest was dried blood. There was a six inch bandage on his left chest.

Kate put her right hand on to his left cheek and rub against it. Flare was trying to stand still but he was stumbling around. Faith turn around and hugged him to keep him stand still as Flare cried on her shoulder.

Kate was trying so hard not to wail but all the doctors are watching the saddest scene they ever seen in their life. Kate got up and laid down next to Humphrey and cried on his shoulder.

Heather look at the x-ray screen and saw one of the rib broke on his left chest. Winston and Eve went up to Kate as Winston put his hand on her shoulder and rubbing it to calm her down.

Heather has no family members except her adopted parents, but now, she's all alone as Humphrey joined with her old parents.

"I'm sorry Humphrey, I'm so sorry" Kate whispered in his ear, hopefully he can listen her. Rain began to fall outside of the hospital.

"Why did he have to die like my parents" sobbed Heather. "I really hate semi trucks, they're the main reason why it killed my parents" said Heather crying on Felix's shoulder.

The memory that she remembered of Humphrey, was when he buy her dream car for her birthday, carrying her, help her homework and her problems, and he was always kind to her.

They all began to say goodbye to him as Kate touch him for the last time. "I love you Humphrey" said Kate sadly as she look back while walking out of the emergency room.

The Foster family arrived at their house, lowering their head in sadness. Heather run upstairs as Felix open the door.

Felix sighed sadly as he sit down on the couch, putting his head on his hand as Sara join with him. They both heard Heather wailed at Humphrey's room.

Sara and Felix look at each other then stood up and walked upstairs. They both stopped at Humphrey's room and then began to peek in.

Heather was curled up into a ball with a teddy bear that was holding a heart says 'Best Sister Ever'.

Felix went in first as Sara laid on the wall with her back and began sliding down.

Felix sit down on his bed and rub her shoulder with his hand. "It's okay Heather, the real Humphrey will always be with you, just like your parents" he comforted to her.

"We'll call the school tomorrow" said Felix as he kissed her forehead and leave the room.

(Time skip: Morning)

All the students were at the concert room for the meeting. Heather stayed at her house, laying on Humphrey's bed.

"Today, we have a really sad announcement and some of you guys already knew. One student was injured, very injured in a car accident. He was rushed towards the hospital at 11:49 pm, last night. He did not make it, and he died on his birthday when it was past midnight. So, we don't know if we are going to make a funeral or his family. But this student was...Humphrey Foster" explained the principal as everyone gasped except Mark and his gang.

"Now, we're all very sorry for Heather's lost. He will be remembered everyday, and every year. That is all I have to say, you may leave and go to class" said the principal.

Second period went good, well, not for Kate. After second period, Faith notice Flare's expression. "What's wrong Flare" she asked.

"I'll tell you with the others, they really need to hear this" he replied in anger.

Faith nodded as they keep walking towards their class. Lilac and the others were with Kate, feeling sorry for her. The teachers were also sorry for her lost.

Kate kept crying while she was walking as Lilac wrapped her arms around her. "Shhh Kate, it's okay" she comforted. "N-No, it's not okay" sobbed Kate.

They all didn't blame for her or Humphrey. They all knew that Humphrey was madly in love with Kate. He always be there with her and hangs out with her, during school and after school or everyday.

Anne put her hand on Kate's back and rubbed against it, calming her down but it wouldn't work.

(Time skip: Lunch)

Kate was told by Faith to sit at her table with the other couple, Garth and Lily. Kate's friends stay with her side as they sit on the table with Kate.

"So what's going on here" asked Lily. "Flare has something to say and I have no idea what it is" confessed Faith. Then, they all saw Flare with his phone out and have two pictures on his other hand.

Flare sat down and plant his phone on the table. "YOU GUYS NEED TO FUCKING HEAR THIS" said Flare in anger as he pressed the play button on the recorder of his phone.

"Dude, your plan works man".

"Thanks, I knew it will worked".

"Yeah right after school you will make a move on Kate".

"Hahahaha, yep and there's no one to save her. Humphrey's dead".

Then, it stops. "YOU GUYS FUCKING RECOGNIZED THAT SHIT ASS VOICE" asked Flare barring his teeth.

All of them have angry looks on their face but for Kate, she was really mad and now start acting like her mother.

"It's Mark and his gang" said Kate as her pupils shrinks in anger.
