And here we go! The Tag Team Tournament finals is concluded in a rather explosive fashion! Be warned there is rather corse language in this chapter used on occasion

Chapter 19: Tag Duel Tournament Part 2 - Invoke the Power of Fusion!
The next few matches in the Tag Tournament had been both short and brutal. Despite my earlier assurance to Tara I had not kept up my end of the bargain to be a team player. It took all of a single look by Sephiroth in my duels to set my rage ablaze and win in a devestating fashion.
"Cyber End Dragon! Eternal Evolution Burst!"
Cyber End Dragon quickly obliterated a Giant Soldier of Stone wiping out one of the opposing players life points, as Kaiser quickly played another card
"De-Fusion activate! Cyber Dragon's! Evolution Burst!"
Cyber End Dragon quickly split apart as the three Cyber Dragons attacked swiftly, destroying a Vampire Lord before firing on against the duelists life points winning the duel.
The crowd was going wild of course naturally, with Tidus and the others cheering for our wins. The only one that wasnt pleased was Tara. I had been saying so much as nothing to her in the duels, and using her cards again like they didnt matter.
"I activate Gift Of The Martyr! Tributing Elemental Hero Wildheart to increase Cyberdark Dragons attack points by Wildheart's attack points!"
Cyberdark Dragon roared as it attack points shot up.
"Full Darkness Burst!" I yell.
Cyberdark Dragon quickly roared in pleasure as it obliterated a cowering Dark Horus easily and wiping out the players life points.
"Trap Activate! Cyberdark Prominence! I send a face down card on Tara's field to the graveyard to send my Infernal Dragon that is equipped to Cyberdark Dragon to the graveyard then blast you for its attack points!"
Two thousand points of damage shot across the field past the other players monsters to hit them directly, wiping out thier life points and winning the duel.
Tara was that pissed off after the second duel that she moved to another waiting chamber. She wouldnt even talk to me, and rightly so she had a point, I was playing as if I was by myself, and the only time I even ackowledged her was to simply use her cards for my own sake without even thinking about her again. But now we were up to the final match, with Orion and Alessa waiting, I knew they couldnt be as simple to beat as the others if they had been successive champions. I needed Tara now more than ever, but of course, I didnt deserve it.
Thats where my story now continues...
Sitting in the antechamber alone now, I ponder what has happened so far today... the hot topic being Sephiroth.
"What is your plan?" I say aloud to no one in particular. "You want to rule the world... yea original plan, but why not just do it now? Why dont you just cut a bloody fucking path through everyone?!" I say
Banging my hand on the table and standing up, I sneer to myself while clenching my fist.
"Why the fuck do you just stand there and do nothing?!" I shout out loud.
It was at that point there was a knock at the door.
"Enter" I snap.
Turning round as the door then opened slowly, I felt my blood freeze as entering the room was Sephiroth! Within a second I had already moved to draw my blade but found myself instead in pain...
Sephiroth had anticipated my move and in a split second drawn Masamune and lunged forward impaling my hand clean on the blade, pushing me backwards across the room to stab the sword into the wall, where I was trapped. Feeling the searing pain in my hand, I use my other hand to grab his sword to try and pull it out, but sure enough it was useless. His strength was enourmous, he was standing there with a relaxed arm holding his sword in place without even trying. Smirking sadistically at me, he spoke.
"Its useless to struggle... You overestimate your own abilites" He spoke
Clenching my teeth, I grip his sword tightly.
"Maybe you UNDERESTIMATE mine!" I roar.
Feeling my eyes change to bright blue, I feel a rush of power and pull the sword from my hand flinging it away. Sephiroth did not faulter nor leg go of his sword at my move, and simply held onto the sword like it was nothing, bringing it to his side.
"Impressive" He said with a smirk. "I had not anticipated your strength would have increased this much by this point"
"Well you can have more of it!" I say, having drawn my sword while he spoke. "And die on my blade!"
"If I had wanted to kill you, you would have been dead the second I walked through the door" Sephiroth said coldly.
Sneering, I reluctantly realise that he has a point. He could have easily pierced my heart instead of my hand with his speed and strength. So with some sense of danger, I sheathe my sword and fold my arms, noting that my wounded hand has already stopped bleeding and started to heal rapidly.
"What do you want?" I ask him.
Smirking at my response, he also replaced Masamume at his side, and despite the massive blade he carried, he walked around the room as if it was a mere knife.
"I ask you to give your power willingly to me, and I will spare your life in my new world" He said simply.
"Hmph" I sneer. "Since when would you do such a thing? When you could simply take my power as you claim" I ask.
Chuckling to himself for a moment, he sniggered as he replied.
"Appealing to my ego will not give you the answers you seek" He spoke. "Those will come as I see fit, but as a taster, I will tell you that I simply cannot take your power without the right... requirements"
"Through a duel" I reply instantly, my mind clicking.
"Excellent deduction" He replied. "And yes you are right, but you can also give away your power freely if you so desire... so that you will survive and I will not have to kill you in a duel"
"How about go fuck yourself. Your not getting anything from me" I spit.
Within a second I felt my windpipe contract and I was gasping for breath clawing at my throat. Sephiroth had lunged at me grabbing me with his left hand around my throat and was now pinning me against the wall in the air. Struggling for breath, I claw at his hand to try and release me but it was useless, he was in control. Standing casually he continued.
"Do not misunderstand me" He spoke "Killing you, should you not serve your purpose is not out of the question. But I would rather take your power before I explore that possibility. For to waste such power would be ... a shame"
Releasing me, I fell to the floor gasping for breath as he turned and casually walked towards the door.
"I expect a good final match" He said before leaving.
Taking a minute to recover my breath, I stagger to my feet at what just happened, steadying myself on the table.
"You want a duel... ill give you one" I snarl.
A few minutes later the crowd was cheering as the final match was prepped to be underway. The stadium almost seemed fuller than before after such a gripping tournament. In the end, Maester Mika stood up and called for silence.
"People of Luca! We have reached the end of our Tag Team Duel Monsters tournament!" He spoke as the crowd went wild. "Introducing first, our victorious winning team and the challengers for the Tag Team Championship are Kaiser of Besaid Temple and Tara of Bevelle Temple! Champions of the Fayth!
The crowd cheered as the two entrance ways opened up to allow the challengers to access the duel arena.
As the doors opened, I was holding a card in my hand.
"Its time Blue-Eyes" I say before putting it in my deck and walking into the light.
As I walked into the stadium the crowd roared at my appearance, followed seconds later by Tara walking from her section into the arena. As we met on the dueling field, I could see she was still looking pissed off. Smiling at her, I couldnt really blame her. I'd let my rage for Sephiroth influence my duels and was practically ignoring her help in the duels and using her cards without even caring about her. As we met at the centre, I speak above the din of the crowd to her.
"Im sorry" I say simply.
Looking at me with a critical eye, she replies quickly
"Dont be sorry, prove it" She said simply. "You get your chance here and now" She said turning to look towards the opposite side of the field.
I could tell that she wasnt gonna be nothing but pissed off for a while, but as she said, she was giving me a chance to prove myself, and I wasnt going to dissapoint her.
"Now people of Luca! May I introduce our reigning Champions!" Mika spoke as the crowd became even louder. "Luca's own famous Luca Duelers! Introducing Orion and Alessa!"
The roar of the crowd was defending as the pair began thier entrance onto the field. Pleasing up to the crowd in thier own pompous way, they met each other quickly in the centre with a graphic kiss that almost made me sick to my stomach. A second later, they parted and assumed thier positions on the dueling field, as Tara and I did also.
"The Champions take the first move!" Mika declared. "Now duel!"

"You heard the Measter, Champions first loosers!" Orion declared drawing. "I play Graceful Charity! Drawing three then discarding two, follow up by summoning Archfiend Soldier in attack mode!"
Archfiend Soldier 1900/1500
Archfiend Soldier looked like a skeleton at first glance, however its purple skin was humming with power, as it sneered behind a horned helmet as it whipped around a green cap revealing its sword.
"I set one card face down and end my turn"
"Then I draw!" Tara said. "I summon Elemental Hero Woodsman in defence mode!"
Elemental Hero Woodsman 1000/2000
Tara's new Hero monster was a humanoid tree for the most part. Kneeling down with its impressive defence stat, it almost looked like a tree stump with arms a a head.
"I also set two cards and end my turn"
"Such a pathetic defence" Alessa sneered as she drew. "I summon Valyrie Dritte in attack mode!"
Valyrie Dritte 1000/1000
Alessa's monster was a female clad in feathered armor riding a white steed with wings. Flying through the air, it safely landed on her field as she drew her sword.
"I set two cards and end my turn"
"I draw!" I declare. "I also play Graceful Charity! Drawing three and discarding two"
As I place my discarded cards in the graveyard, my deck began to glow.
"Since I discarded The White Stone of Legend from my hand, I can add my soul monster to my hand!" I say, taking a card from my deck.
"Your bluffing! You know full well that was all a trick!" Orion spits.
"Lets find out! I summon Kaibaman!" I retort, placing a card on my duel disk.
The monster appearing on the field was awfully familiar, dressed in a white coat and sporting a helmet with a mane of red hair.

"Dont make me look a fool" A voice in my head says. "And make sure you attack that damned pony rider first!"
Sniggering for a moment, I continue on.
"By sending this card to the graveyard, I can summon my soul monster from my hand!"
"Go on make a fool of yourself!" Orion spits. "You wont psyche us out!"
"Then allow me to reveal the truth! Kaibaman! I activate your special effect!"
Kaibaman sniggered as he was consumed by pyreflies, as they started to swarm the field in a swirling vortex that quickly turned into a raging cyclone.
"Power of the suns light!" I intone.
The vortex swirled faster and faster, as a pair of blue and white wings began to emerge...
"Form into a creature of radiance!"
Two massive clawed hands and feet emerged...
"And by the power of the soul, may the living legend arise!"
The Vortex suddenly errupted outwards buffeting the arena as the massive dragon roared...
"Appear! Monster of my soul! Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
With an ear shattering roar, Blue-Eyes took flight to fly around the arena before finally settling in the air infront of me, roaring at Orion's and Alessa's monster.
"By Yevon its true!" Alessa screams
"How in Sin does this looser have that monster?!" Orion adds
Blue-Eyes White Dragon 3000/2500
The crowd naturally went beserk at such a sight. Many were actually rubbing thier eyes to make sure they were not infact dreaming, while a few had actually fainted at the sight. However one person stood near the top of the crowd stood casually, tilting his dark glasses.
"So you finally appear Blue-Eyes White Dragon... Dedgen my friend... you were right"
"Hmph" Sephiroth said with a grin. "So you decided to show your hand afterall... right as I knew you would"
"Oh my" Yuna gasped.
"I cant believe he actually played it!" Wakka said grasping his head. "With all these people around!"
"Why shouldnt he?" Tidus asked annoyed
"Yea!" Nomi added.
"Because everyone is gonna work out who he is!" Wakka replied.
"Be quiet the lot of you" Lulu suddenly spoke up. "He's make a point" She added.
"Point?" Wakka added.
Sighing heavily, she shook her head.
"Try listening to what he says... maybe you can work it out"
"Orion! It has three thousand attack points!" Alessa shrieks.
"Watch them all in use! Blue-Eyes! Attack her Valkyrie! Horibo No Burst Stream!"
With a gutteral roar, the mighty dragon charged up its energy attack from its mouth, firing it directly across the field in a spherical ball at the Valkyrie that cried out in fear.
"Trap activate!" Orion said. "Light and Dark Spiral! Once a turn if a light or dark monster is attacked on our field, I can redirect the attack to the opposing attribute, and prevent the new target from being destroyed!"
Blue-Eyes's energy ball seemed to change direction, and hit Archfiend Soldier head on, who held it in its arms, crying out in pain before the attack finally dissapated.
"Still I'll have you take the damage!" I declare
Part of the energy sparks travelled onward past the monster and slammed into Orion, who grunted in pain for a moment.

"Thanks lover" Alessa winks.
"Anytime" Orion smirks recovering. "You didnt destroy my monster looser" He then adds with a sneer.
"I dont have to destroy any of your monsters to win this duel if you keep taking damage! I set two cards and end my turn"
"I draw!" Orion says as Archfiend Soldier began to glow.
Archfiend Soldier 2900/1500
"What happened?" Tara asked confused.
"Imprisonedqueen Archfiend happened" Orion said. "Since she is in the graveyard after I played Graceful Charity, she gives an Archfiend Monster one thousand extra attack points per turn during my standby phase. Next I summon Terrorking Archfiend!"
Terrorking Archfiend appeared on the field looking like a skeleton covered in bulging muscle mass pulsating at its own accord. Wielding a lethal looking sword, it sniggered to itself.

"Soldier! Attack Woodsman!"
Flying across the field with a laugh, Archfiend Soldier cleaved Woodsman in half with its sword, the Hero cried out in pain as it exploded, but Tara not missing a beat was already activating a card.
"Trap activate! Hero Signal! Since you destroyed my monster, I can now summon another hero from my deck! Come out Elemental Hero Stratos!"
Stratos appeared in a whirlwind vortex, coloured mostly blue he flew through the air with wind turbines on his shoulders, nodding to his Duelist as he touched down looking through a visor.

"Stratos gives me a new hero to add from my deck to my hand with its effect, I choose Elemental Hero Neos!"
"Do what you like! Because Terrorking now destroys your Stratos!" Orion continues.
Terrorking roared and rather oddly, opened its chest cavity to spew forth a swarm of locust that flew across the field, enveloping Stratos who like his Woodsman kind, cried out in pain before being destroyed.
"Sorry Stratos" Tara sighed.

"Show that bitch whos boss Orion!" Alessa declares.
"Maybe you should watch your mouth!" Tara says. "Because you fell for my trap! I activate Damage Condenser! By discarding a card from my hand I can summon a monster from my deck with attack points that are lower than the damage I took!"
"What could you possibly summon with that few attack points?" Orion laughed.
"Two hundred points of damage, there is no Hero or Crystal Beast that weak" I muse to myself.
"I summon to the field Yubel!"
"YUBEL?!" I gasp.
In a dark swirl of pyreflies a humanoid female figure was forming on the field. It had almost bat like wings and looked like a woman in a leotard, but rather oddly, she seemed to have a light stripe across her chest with a female chest and a male chest! One sided purple hair and one grey, she had a pink face with a green eye and a golden one, with a third eye that twitched around of its own accord in the middle of her head. Sniggering to herself across the field, she looked rather intimidating.

"What kind of freakish monster is that!" Alessa cries.
"Well with zero points it wont make a difference" Orion adds.
"Maybe it will my dear" Yubel smirked causing Alessa to gasp in horror.
Yubel then looked around the field until her sight rested on me, and despite knowing she probabally wasnt evil on Spira, her three eyes staring at me and that smirk was rather unsettling.
"Ahhhhhhh" She smiled. "So this is him Tara? He's a cute one" She sniggered.
Blushing in embarassment, Tara turned away for a moment before turning round smiling.
"Stop hitting on my tag partner Yubel and focus on the duel!" Tara replied
"If you loosers are finished" Orion interrupted. "I end my turn" Orion declares as the Archfiend Soldier's attack points lowered in the end phase.

"I draw!" Tara said. "I summon Elemental Hero Neos!"
In a shower of pyreflies, the white skinned mighty Hero jumped onto the field to land in a fighting pose.

"Thats a level seven monster you cheating bitch!" Alessa shouts while pointing at Neos.
"Summoning without sacrifice automatically forefits you the duel!" Orion declares with a laugh.
"Shut up both of you" I spit. "Clearly you didnt pay attention when Tara played Damage Condenser, because I know for a fact she can play it with the card she discarded... Arent I right Tara?" I ask
"Maybeeeeeeeee" She smirks
"How then?" Orion retorts.
"Because the card I discard was Elemental Hero Necroshade!" Tara says. "It allows me to summon a Elemental Hero once without tribute! So Neos comes out! Next I play Guardian Hero Bond! Ill explain its effect later, but for now, Neos! Attack Archfiend Soldier! Wrath of Neos!"
Neo's charged across the field and lept high in the air flipping several times, readying its hand to give a signature chop attack.
"Light and Dark Spiral activate! Valkyrie Dritte takes the attack!" Alessa declares.
In mid air Neo's redirected his attack to strike the Valkyrie head on, whos horse began to buck about wildly from the attack. But the rider managed to keep her steady despite the damage.

"Now we are in the lead" Tara smirks.
"Not after my turn you bitch" Alessa spits.
Now on her field, Yubel was standing with her arms folded observing Neo's who was stood in a fighting stance ready.
"This is the first time I have shared a field with you Neo's" Yubel sniggered. "Most interesting is it not? Considering we were once sworn enemies?"
"Indeed" Neos responded in a deep voice despite the lack of a mouth.
"I end my turn" Tara said ignoring her monster's banter. "Normally Yubel requires a tribute to stay on the field, but as long Guardian Hero Bond stays on the field that effect is negated while Neos is on the field. Further, should you attack Neos, Yubel takes the attack, who is not destroyed in battle and will reflect the battle damage I would take back to you. So think about attacking carefully" Tara smiles.
"We shall see!" Alessa declares drawing, and upon seeing her card she gives an evil smirk. "I play Ride of the Valkyries!"
In a massive swirl of pyreflies and white coloured feathers, two shapes began to form on the field, it was two more Valkyries, one was mostly blue armored in colour while the other was darker, but sporting both a sword and shield.
"I summon Valkyrie Zwei and Valkyrie Brunnhilde!"

"Still not enough to beat any of our monsters!" Tara retorts.
"Well lets see shall we bitch!" Alessa spits back. "For Valkyrie Zwei automatically destroys a monster when she is summoned! I choose Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
With a loud gasp from the crowd, the Valkyrie charged her horse across the field and lept into the air, bringing down its sword against Blue-Eyes who roared in pain... jumping back, a second later there was a massive explosion.
"So much for the strongest soul monster!" Alessa declares.
"Dont be so sure yourself" I smirk.
"WHAT?!" They both gasp
As the dust cleared, Blue-Eyes was still there, roaring and hissing in retaliation at the Valkyries
"Your monster should be gone!" Orion declares.
"I discarded Blue-Eyed Gardna from my hand" I say slotting the monster into the graveyard. "When Blue-Eyes would be destroyed by an effect or battle I can discard it to prevent its destruction... bad luck" I snigger.
"Hmph" She declares. "Well Valkyrie Brunnhilde's effect activates! She gains three hundred attack points for each warrior or dragon type monster in play, so with two...
Valkyrie Brunnhilde 2400/2000
"Next I activate one of my face down cards! DNA Surgery! This allows me to treat all monsters on the field as one type, I choose Dragon type! Increasing Brunnhilde's attack points further!"
Valkyrie Brunnhilde 4100/2000
"Brunnhilde!" Alessa declare pointing outwards. "Destroy Blue-Eyes!"
With a mighty battle cry, Brunnhilde charged foward on her horse and slashed again at Blue-Eyes who cried out in agony and was once again engulphed in an explosion as I winced in pain.
Kaiser 2900 Tara 3800 Orion 2900 Alessa 2500
"Got you that time!" She smirked.
"Really?" I say laughing.
Once again when the dust settled, Blue-Eyes was still there! Now looking rather pissed off at being struck at twice.
"Now your just fucking cheating!" Orion declared.
"No, its called knowing my card. Its just my Gardna can also use the same effect a single time when its in the graveyard. Its not my fault you didnt ask" I declare smugly.
"Well you still took damage!" Alessa spat back. "And my monster is stronger than all of yours!... but just incase I activate the final card in my hand! Nibelung's Treasure! It allows me to activate a spell card from my deck, so now I equip your Blue-Eyes with Nibelung's Ring!
A large silver ring quickly appeared on the field to encase Blue-Eyes who roared in protest.
"Now since I control at least three Valkyries, I can draw five cards after Nibelung's Ring has resolved" She said drawing, then quickly activating a trap. "I play Valkyrie Force! Now Valkyries cannot be removed from the field by card effects, meaning they wont return to my deck now because of Ride of the Valkyries, I set two cards and end my turn" She sniggered.
"I draw!" I declare.
"Hold on!" Alessa interrupts. "Since your dragon is wearing that ring, it cannot attack, or be tributed. Further, you must draw a second card each draw phase and if you draw at least one monster, you must discard one!" She cackles.
Without speaking I simply draw my extra card, and after looking at them both, I discard a card and seconds later a monster appears on my field, it was a humanoid knight in shining blue armor kneeling down with its sword crossed along its chest.
Blue-Eyed Defender 0/2000
"What the?" Alessa cried out
"The card I discarded was Blue-Eyed defender. Since it was next my standby phase after my draw, when its in the graveyard when I control a Blue-Eyes White Dragon I can special summon it to the field in defence mode. So your extra card you offered me came in handy" I smile.
"Maybe, but what you gonna do with it! Your mighty soul monster cant attack!" Orion laughed who was quickly joined by Alessa.
"Ill simply play another copy of my soul monster" I declare.
Thier laughter died in their throats to be replaced by expression of pure horror, while Tara's eyes nearly bulged from her head.
"Defender has another effect! It counts as two tributes for a Light Attribute monster! So now I sacrifice my defender!"
In another swirl of pyreflies, another vortex formed, exactly like the other as a second dragon emerged.
"I summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

The second one roared across the field at seeing its doppelganger encased with the cursed ring causing the Archfiends and Valkyries to shrink back in fear.
"By Yevon!" Wakka exclaimed.
"He has two?!" Tidus and Nomi both said.
"I've never known a duelist to have two copies of a soul monster!" Yuna added.
"Two Dragons" Lulu mused, then suddenly feeling a realisation. "Could it be he has..."
Sephiroth for his part was simply stood smirking in the Maester's booth, oberserving both Dragons and Kaiser.
"How little do you realise" He mused
"How in Sin do you have two?!" Orion shouted
"Does it matter?" I ask. "All you should know is whats going to happen now! I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Valkryie Force!"
As a small whirlwind shot across the field, the trap card of Alessa's was vaporised as she sneered.
"Even without that you still cant beat my Brunnhilde in battle!"
"I dont have to! I activate Burst Stream of Destruction!"
With a roar, the free Blue-Eyes charged up its energy attack from its mouth and realeased it to storm the field, but unlike an attack it blasted every single monster on Orion and Alessa's field and destroyed them in one strike!
"What in Sin happened?!" Orion cried out.
"My spell card did" I reply. "Since I control Blue-Eyes it allows me to destroy all your monsters... tough break" I smirk. "However it stops my dragon attacking this turn, so you get something back. I end my turn" I declare.
"Then I draw!" Orion declared, his face currently crimson. "I activate Archfiends Revenge! I banish my two Archfiends in my graveyard and can special summon a monster from my opponents deck! I choose you Kaiser!" Orion laughed.
A smattering of cards seemed to appear in the air infront of Orion as it was a list of the monsters in Kaiser's deck. Orion scanned them quickly resting on one monster.
"Hmmmmmm, that Cyber Valley you used might be useful" He said passing over the cards.
As he passed over the cards, he actually staggered for a moment with his eyes going wide.
"Whats wrong Orion?" Alessa asked.
Orions face was a picture, he looked past the cards directly at me.
"You have another?!" He gasped
The whole stadium seemed to look straight at me, as I simply folded my arms.
"Yes... I have three Blue-Eyes White Dragons"
The entire stadium seemed to explode at the next revelation, as the crowd went absolutely wild. Then it happened... it took one person to say it... then another... then more joined in. Then within a few more mere seconds the stadium was chanting one thing.
"DARK WARRIOR! DARK WARRIOR! DARK WARRIOR!"
"I was afraid of this" Wakka said, looking rather pale.
"Who cares?" Tidus says. "The crowd are behind them now!" He smiles
"... So its true" Lulu says suddenly
"What is Lulu?" Yuna asks softly
"To have three Blue-Eyes White Dragons means only one thing" She said
Orions face went red with rage that the crowd was no longer behind him, in the end he shouted out aloud
"IVE CHOSEN! I WILL USE YOUR BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON!"
The roar of the stadium quickly died as the card flew from my deck across the field to Orion, who quickly slapped it on his duel disk. Within seconds the familiar swirling vortex appeared as the final Blue-Eyes appeared on Orions field.

"So what say you now? Crowd proclaimed Dark Warrior! Ive taken your monster!"
"For now" I reply with a sneer.
"Well lets see what I can do with it! Your not the only one who can make a grand attack! I now play Monster Reborn! I use it to special summon an Archfiend I discarded with Graceful Charity! Skull Archfiend of Lightning!"
The new Archfiend appeared with darkened skys as it crackled with electricity. It looked like a human skeleton like its breatheren, but with fleshy muscles across its body. Hissing as it arrived, the electricity danced around of its own accord.

"I now play Archfiends Rage! Since I control an Archfiend monster, one monster I control gains one thousand attack points! I choose your ... or should I say MY! Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"
Blue-Eyes White Dragon 4000/2500
"Now my Dragon can attack all monsters on the field this turn! But dont worry, it cannot destroy monsters in battle, but I dont need to! Now attack those other Dragons!"
The Blue-Eyes under Orion's control charged up its energy blast and launched it at the remaining too. Each one crying out in pain as I staggered under the overflow damage.
Kaiser 900 Tara 3800 Orion 2900 Alessa 2500
"Now attack Yubel!" Orion roared jabbing a fist forward.
Once more firing off its energy attack, Yubel was hit head on who screamed in pain, but seconds later she emerged unscathed, her middle eye beginning to glow.
"Clearly you didnt listen!" Tara declared. "Because I take no damage and you do! Yubel! Nightmare Pain!"
Smirking, Yubel conjured forth thorny rose plant like whips, that lashed across the field towards Orion.
"Perhaps I did! For during the turn I activate Archfiends Rage, all effect damage I recieve is negated and half is reflected back to you!"
Inches before impact, the thorn whips changed direction to lash back across the field and slam into Tara, sending her spinning to the ground

"Im sorry Tara" Yubel says bowing her head in shame
"Its alright" Tara says, wincing as she gets to her feet.
"It wont be because your going down! Attack Neos! And since your spell is in effect! Once more Yubel takes the attack!"
Blue-Eyes fired off its energy attack once again which headed towards Neo's before diverting again at Yubel.
"Trap activate!" I declare "Attack Guidance Armor! My armor now equips to your Archfiend Monster and it takes the attack!"
A demonic smiling armor suddenly appeared on Skull Archfiend of Lightning who snarled at being encased, while Blue-Eyes energy blast once again redirected towards it, it roared in agony but was not destroyed while Orion grunted in pain.

"You... you saved me" Tara says stunned.
"Your my partner arent you?" I say smiling.
"But why?" She asks. "You could have stopped your damage"
"I could get by with it, you couldnt... I was just making sure we take this win together" I smile
Smiling, she nods in agreement.
"Your just stalling the inevitable!" Orion interrupts I summon Vilepawn Archfiend in defence mode, set a card and I end my turn!" Orion declares.
Vilepawn looked like a watered down version of Archfiend Soldier, however it knelt down with a sword across its chest, sniggering across the field.

"Then I draw!" Tara says before jabbing a hand forward "Neos! Attack Alessa directly!"
Neos charged the field once more, readying its signature attack at Alessa head on
"Trap activate! Valkyrie Salvation! I pay half my life points to negate your attack!"
Neo's punch was met by an energy shield, and as he jumped back, Alessa was unharmed.

"Then from my deck I can special summon a Valkyrie! Now arise! Valkyrie Emperor!"
Valkyrie Emperor was infact a male rider, it was clad in shining golden armor from head to toe, with a massive broadsword that it wielded in one hand.

"Emperor gains two hundred points for every monster on the field!" Alessa declares as her monsters stats shot up
Valkyrie Emperor 3100/3100
"Impressive" Tara said. "However Neo's isnt done! I play Righeous Justice! For every Hero on my field, I destroy one of your spells or trap cards! I choose your Light and Dark Spiral!"
Neos once again jumped across the field to give a diving kick at the trap card and destroyed it with a mighty attack, jumping back to her side of the field, Tara smirked.
"I play my final card face down and end my turn"
"I draw!" Alessa said.
As she did, both her and Orion cast a glance to each other before extending an arm and shouting out.
"Trap Activate!" They both declared
"Archfiend Blast!" _ "Valkyrie Blast!"
Two trap cards shot up on both thier side of the field and began to glow.
"That isnt good" Tara said regarding thier similar cards.
"How right you are" Alessa sniggered.
"Because during your next end phase, if we control a Archfiend or Valkryie, we will blast you both for thier attack points!"
"Hmph" I tut. "So I get the last turn do I?"
"Correct" Alessa smirked. "And Im not going to risk your face down cards when your gonna loose next turn, so Ill end my turn at that. Oh and by the way, my Emperor cant be targeted by card effects so dont even try"
"Well try this! I activate my own Mystical Space Typhoon! I destroy..." Tara said extending her arm before pointing at me. "Neibulungs Ring!"
The cyclone shot across the field to smash apart the ring holding Blue-Eyes, who roared as it re spread its wings.
"Crap!" Orion spat.
"Dont worry Orion" Alessa smirked. "I got us covered, and he cant beat us both next turn anyway, so we will still win!"
"Well lets find out!" I declare putting my hand down to draw.
As I draw my card, my eyes widen in pure shock.
"Whoa..."
"You've fought hard... and you attacked that pony rider as I asked, so consider this my payment" Kaiba spoke
"Thank you Kaiba" I smile before holding the card high in the air. "I activate Card of Demise! I draw cards till im holding five in my hand!"
"Like theres such a broke card!" Orion spat.
"Says the partner of the one with Nibelung's Treasure!" I shoot back "And anyway I have to discard my full hand after my fifth standby phase, but that doesnt really matter now does it?" I smirk.
Putting my hand down on my deck to draw, I look up at my Blue-Eyes on Orion's field, its eyes filled with sorrow at being used against me. I smile to my Dragon and I close my eyes and concentrate.
"Alright, that Shining Draw was clearly gonna be a one off, so now I need to concentrate on my own power to draw out the cards I need like I did with Power Bond"
As I start to draw I count down the cards in my head.
"Right, nothing from the first one, second nothing, but a hint of power there, how about the third? No still nothing... fourth? Damn! Nothing again... Now my final card... please, give me the power to live and duel forever!"
As I draw the final card I feel a surge of power shoot up my arm and into my body, making me gasp actually stagger at what I'd just drawn. Recovering after a moment I look at the card and feel my heart skip a beat.
"THIS. Is the card Tara gave me! It has to be! But why would she give me this? And why would it even be blank in the first place?!"
Looking across the field to her, she notices me looking and smiles back. But then I realise exactly whats happened, because with the card Syrus and Hassleberry gave me, I could give Tara her gift while winning the duel at the same time. Begining my move I call out.
"Orion! Alessa! Hear me! I will win this duel in this turn!"
"Like Sin!" Orion shot back
"You cant beat us both! Not even with your two Dragons! And Orion has already proved he can tame your mighty monster!"
"Lets see!" I say taking Tara's card from my hand.
"Super Fusion Activate!"
The skys immediately darkened on the stadium as the ground shook as a massive electrical vortex began to open in the sky, lightning bolts began to strike the ground as the fusion vortex took form.
"I discard one card from my hand to peform a fusion summon from monsters anywhere on the field!" I say slotting a card into the graveyard. "The monsters I choose and Neos and Yubel!"
Both monsters looked across the field at me shocked for a moment before nodding towards me, they were quickly transformed into energy streams that ascended into the vortex
"Tara! This is my gift to you!"
In a massive explosion a form was taking shape.
"Now descend! Neos Wiseman!"
It seemed to be Neo's lower half body that was still covered white, but from the torso up he had been outfitted with black armor like Yubel wore. The shining blue orb was still in the middle of his chest, but now he bore Yubel's bat wings sprouting from his head with her third middle eye in the middle of his head.

"And with one less monster on the field, your Valkyrie Emperor gets weaker!" I declare
Valkyrie Emperor 2900/2900
"What the?!" Wakka spluttered.
"How does Kaiser have a fusion monster of Tara's?" Yuna asked
Tara was transfixed by the monster I had created, she simply could not take her eyes off it. After a few moments she finally cracked and started squealing.
"Thats so cool! I cant believe Neo's and Yubel could fuse!"
"Are you done?!" Orion spat. "That changes nothing! You still cant win!"
"Well lets see shall we! Neos Wiseman!" I declare. "Attack Valkyrie Emperor!"
With a mighty leap into the air, Neos Wiseman hovered above the Emperor
"Oh no you dont! I activate Sakuretsu Armor and destroy it!" Alessa declares activating her trap
As the card activated, a suit of oriental armor appeared from the card heading towards Neo's Wiseman, but with a mighty punch he cleaved the armor clean in half!
"What happened?!" Alessa gasped.
"Neo's Wiseman is not destroyed by card effects! And when it attacks it deals to you damage equal to your monsters attack points while restoring my life points equal to its defence points!"
"Thats awesome!" Tara said punching the air.
"It what!" Alessa screams. "Orion! Help me!" She pleads.
"Theres nothing I can do!" He shouts back in panic.
"Neos Wiseman! ULTIMATE NOVA!"
Wiseman with what sounded like a groan, unleashed a torrent of white energy streams from mid air from its body, striking down around Emperor before closing on the monster and incinerating it instantly. Alessa put her hands up to shield herself from the damage as her monster was destroyed, but was thrown back to land on the ground in a heap unconscious.

"Your next Orion" I say glowing green as Wiseman restored my life points.
His face red with rage, Orion punched a hand into the air.
"Go fuck yourself! Even if you suicide one of your Dragons the other still cant beat me in time!"
"Who says Im gonna do that! Trap activate! Lost Pride! I discard a spell card from my hand to the graveyard to retrieve one to my hand! But if I use it I must pay one thousand life points!"
Smiling, I discard Power Bond, being the bond that brings me back the card I need. Taking a card from the graveyard, I hold it high in the air
"Super Fusion Activate! I choose to fuse all three Blue-Eyes White Dragons together!"

With a roar that shook Luca, the three Blue-Eyes were drawn into the power of the fusion vortex in a massive explosion.
"Power that transcends power!"
A pair of huge scaled wings began to appear
"Take form into a Dragon of unparalled fury!"
Clawed arms and legs followed, that could cut through metal like butter.
"By the evolution of my soul, may it take form!"
Three heads then emerged on one body, hissing and snarling in fury.
"Now appear! Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!"
With a massive roar the dragon emerged as a symbol appeared on its three heads, the sign of the Ultimate Dragon.

"Holy mother of Yevon!" Wakka exclaimed
"How did he get hold of something like that?!" Tidus added
"Its so cool!" Nomi added
"Is this what you meant Lulu?" Yuna asked.
"Yes" The mage nodded. "Kaiser wields the power of fusion as an art, so to have this monster is not suprising"
"Maester Mika" Sephiroth spoke. "This duel is over"
"The result has not been declared" Mika replied
"When it is, announce Kaiser as..."
I suddenly feel a warm sensation on my back, and then I realise what it is. The symbol that had appeared on my coat in my duel with Elan was the same symbol Ultimate Dragon bore. I could just see over my shoulder it was glowing a shining blue... seconds later I felt a burning sensation in my hands and on my forehead. Gasping in agony, I drop to my knees trying to pass through the pain. A few seconds later it was over and I saw what had happened. I had been branded on the back of my hands with the same symbol Ultimate Dragon wore, and chances are the same was on my forehead as I felt the marks on my forehead. Looking up at my Dragon, the middle head is staring down at me.
"We got the same cool tatoos there" I smile. "Pity it hurt so much"
"We are as one now Master... my strength grows along with yours"
"What in Sin are you?!" Orion gasped breaking me from my thoughts.
I realised my wings had once again sprouted from my shoulders, but this time they had stayed and I was glowing a bright blue aura.
"The crowd had it right!" I declare. "I am Kaiser the Dark Warrior of Spira!"
"Like I give a fuck!" Orion declares. "The wannabe Dark Warrior is about to fall! You have to attack my Vilepawn Archfiend first! You cant win!"
Suprised I had forgotten that effect of his monster, I look for a solution but there was none... but I was convinced Ultimate Dragon would bring me victory... but how?
"Look closer Master"
My gaze travels down to my fusion monster as I see another line of text has appeared on the card! Extending my arm out I declare my attack.
"Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon! Prepare to attack!"
Ultimate Dragon quickly began to charge up a triple energy blast from its three heads while Orion didnt look impressed.
"What do you think your doing! That wont work!" He declared
"Yes it will! Because by dropping its attack points to three thousand, Ultimate Dragon can attack three times each battle phase!"

"This cant be happenening!" Orion said in pure horror
"ULTIMATE BURST!"
Ultimate Dragon fired off three energy blasts that consumed Vilepawn Archfiend and Skull Archfiend instantly, while the first one fired directly to hit Orion head on who screamed in agony at the attack. A few seconds later the attack dissapated and he was rooted to the spot, sporting whisps of smoke and looking like a zombie after being attacked until he simply fell backwards to fall on the ground defeated.

The crowd roared in approval at the crowning of thier new champions as Measter Mika stood up calling for silence.
"The winner of this duel and our new Tag Team champions are Tara! Champion of Bevelle Temple, and Kaiser! The Dark Warrior of Spira!"
The crowd were going ballistic at such an action packed duel until they all started to chant again in unison.
"DARK WARRIOR! DARK WARRIOR! DARK WARRIOR!"
Tara was busy waving to the crowd, soaking up the glory for a moment, but I was not looking, I was stood in a staring match with Sephiroth. He was looking back at me with those cold green eyes of his.
"Well played Kaiser... you will make an excellent opponent"
"Believe me Sephiroth... someday soon I will take your head" I reply
