Chapter: 19 Vector's Back
It was a normal day at Heartland School with Yuma running late.
Draken had given the group charms after Siri and vector's abduction. Everyone's was different: Yuma's look like his key, the emperors their own barian symbol. He explained the reason for the charms.
"What are things for?" Alito asked looking at his.
"This charms will suppress your chaos energy" Draken said handing the other charms out to the other emperors, Siri and Yuma. "I don't want what happen to repeated its self"
"Why do they look like our symbols" Vector asked.
"Siri's idea asked her" Draken said "I just made them"
The charm's recipients look at the female half barian. "I believe Dento found me by my chaos energy signature ,and I've notes over the years that if I suppress to a normal human level I would walk right past Dento, Altaira, and Vegaus"
"Wow" Bronk said "Why aren't we humans getting one?" it was a vary good question.
"One of the answers was in your question" Draken explained " The second is it never occurred to me or Siri you need one. Human don't really have strong chaos signatures. I'm not trying to be rude, so I'm give you something similar. With that suffice?"
The humans in the group got ones that only suppress a bit, and look more like bracelets then charms. The group was at lunch taking about the school's cultural festival.
"Please tell me that our class isn't going to do the monster' cafe again" Vector said having come to the school to drop off his home work. (He did the same as the other 2nd years).
"Why? You made a cute Dandylion" Tori said with a smile this case Vector to some what glare at her.
"One that was 'Ray' Shadows" Vector said putting emphasis on his former first name "Second I thought I head it was taken by a 1st year for something" Both statements were true and Vector did want to dress up as a duel monster just not that one.
"If it make you fell better we aren't" Caswell said "We are doing a play with the cast dress as different duel monsters"
"What's the story?" Alito asked want to see if he could be a warrior or beast-warrior at the very lest.
"Not sure" Caswell admitted "It might a princess story for all we know"
That play didn't end up being a princess story( to many of the boys relief), it was a story about a warrior that had to save his homeland from a evil travailing magician. Yuma got the part of the warrior, Vector got the magician.
"I can see the play right?" Siri asked after she head about the play.
"I believe you can" Vector said as he looking through Draken's costumes box. "Dose your father costumes that look like the over 100 number?" he asked.
"No" Siri shook her head "But I can make them if you want"
Vector look up at his girlfriend and nodded "I would like that. We have to get the costumes ourselves in some way. Here is my over 100 number and its Cxyz form" he handed Siri the two cards "Number 104 is my cover in the play. C104 is when I reveal I'm the bad guy."
Siri got out her sketchbook "Like how you revealed your true self during your duel with Yuma" She had heard that story and know that while Vector now regretted his actions, it was the vary thing that got him the part. "I'll asked the others if they want me to do the same thing."
"You mean use our number or ace card as our costume" Vector stated.
"Precisely"
The day of the Heartland Academy Cultural Festival arrived with everyone ready for fun. The play that the 2nd years and some of the 3rd years put on was a hit. It was the final fight. Utopia vs Umbel Horror Masquerade.
"Well,well" Vector or Umbel Horror Masquerade said with a evil grin ,not unlike the one he often had six months ago, on his face. "The foolish light thinks it has a chance at winning" His costume was his chaos over 100 number. Vector had red wings, a red tail coat, black leggings, and a staff (which was in his left hand).
Yuma or Utopia look up and glared at the dark monster "We do have a chance" he said. Like Vector, Yuma's costume was bast off a number or two number. 39 Utopia and Utopic future. The costume most resembled future Utopic, but had 39 Utopia colors. His wings joints were yellow as was most of his armor, the under armor was gray. His helmet was shaped to his head as well as his hair and was yellow/red. Yuma had a sword that was shaped like utopia's blade and had Utpoic handle. "Because I will never give up" he stud up. The light that was centered on him and Vector spread to show the rest of the stage. It was like the plaza of screams from Vector's old castle. In the cages the rest of the cast, from Tori dressed as Cheer Girl to Shark in the armor of Abyss Splash.
"That is it just because you never give up" Vector laugh maniacally "That's really believable, NOT" Vector was obviously having fun.
"Yes" Yuma said.
"Utopia, Remember your training" Shark call from his cage. He, Girag, and Alito were the trainers in the story. They had test him to see if he was ready to face Vector.
Yuma look at Shark and nodded, before raising his sword into a ready stance to fight.
Vector smirk "So the little hero wants to fight, well let's begin" with that he raised his staff and attack Yuma.
Their weapons clashed with a loud ringing bang. Yuma tried to thrust up, but Vector didn't let him. Vector in turn tried to push down with little success.
"Go Utopia" Tori yelled then the rest of the cast begone to chant "Utopia, Utopia"
"That case Yuma to grin "Hear that they believe in me and I will not disappoint them" he attack fiercer force that forced Vector back. After five hits with his sword. Yuma thrust up for the final strike and brought it down across Vector's chest wining the duel. " I win"
Thank you young warrior" Rio said wearing a dress that look like Crystal Zero's. She was sitting in a throne that was shaped like Shark old Throne from the United Lands, but was colored red like his barian throne. "You only defeated the evil, something my best warriors couldn't do. I will reward you with given you Abyss's position"
Shark came up and gave Yuma the arm band that head the kingdoms symbol( a golden cross). Yuma slide it on his right arm.
"Now recite the oath" Rio commanded.
"I will serve the kingdom of the beast with my body and weapon, now and forever"
Yuma said now having the position he dreamed about. With that the curtains fell.
"Four times" Alito said stretching his muscles "Four times we had to do that, but it was fun" he ended with a grin his costume on the floor nest to him.
"While I had a blasted" Vector said also out of his costume "I will admit being evil gets old" the cast left the changing room to find their families or in the emperor case Siri and her father.
"That was excellent" Draken said the group having found his first "Shakespeare would have been proud"
"You knew him?" Tori asked.
"Of course" Draken smirked "Who do you think supplied his costumes"
Siri rolled her eyes at her father( who was now talking to Kazuma) then look at Vector whom she was hugging. "I like your part the best"
"Thanks" Vector mumbled. He was red in the face manly from Siri's hug.
"You okey?" Yuma asked.
"No" Vector suddenly felt nauseous.
Draken put his hand on Vector's forehead "You fell like you walk through the barian see" he noted.
"I did once" Vector murmured.
"Something only a foul would do" Draken said. Vector didn't even try to look embarrassed, mostly because he wasn't feel right.
"What is happening to him?" Tj asked.
"I do not know" Draken said "But I will fined out what it is" with that the elder barian teleported away with the younger half barian.
Vector look around "This must be what the others saw"
"I a sense" a voice said and case Vector to become on edge. It was Dento's voice, but not Dento himself. The person the spoke was Vector, but also not. The boy's eyes were amber.
"Dento?" Vector couldn't help but asked.
"In a way" 'Dento' said "I'm both you and Dento. Notes the eyes" he point to his eyes.
"Yeah. What is happening to me?" Vector asked "One minute I'm finishing the plat the next I'm taking to you" He was starting to panic.
Dento/Vector started to explain "The power you have from Don Thousand is reacting to my old power" seeing the orange hair boy still listening he continued "In oder to come out whole, you most take both powers as your own"
Now Vector was panicking, because Dento him said the something as Don Thousand in his dream.
"Calm down" 'the amber eyed Vector said "What ever has got you to panic it not a big duel. I'm going to help you take control of his power"
"Okey" Vector said a bit calmer.
"Alright then lets get started" 'Dento' said as the armored barian appeared.
"Yuma calm down" Draken yelled. He had the half Astral being on the phone, Yuma wanted to know if Vector was okey and was talking non stop "He is fine and stable". Draken had decided to say that so the young barian's condition won't make Yuma more panicky.
"Draken Are you sure About that" Shark's voice came out of the phone. Drakrn guess that the emperor had taken the phone "Because you don't sound like he is fine"
Draken had to wonder how the purple barian know that "Stable is the only thing I can truly about him, but I do think the last Emperor is about to come back.
"Positive?" Shark asked sounding more like Nash and like he was growling.
"Yes" Draken said looking at the last of the seven emperors "If he could live through the Barian see, he will make it."
Vector with that help of Dento was absorbing Don Thousand, but it wasn't going well. The armored barian was bigger then the human sides ones and was attacking them with energy blasts.
"He is putting up a fight" Vector said as he doge an energy blast.
"Of course he is" 'Dento' said "He isn't just going to hand it over. You ether have to take the power or earn it"
"Take or earn" Vector said to himself 'Earning sound a lot better, but to win against someone like Don Thousand you have to take' Vector once he made up his main ran at the barian.
"What in the name of Oran is he doing? "Amber eyes Vector asked no one, seeing the crazy move the orange hair boy was doing.
Vector had somehow got his sword from his past life and rammed it through the giant's head "Now your power is mine, but I won't turn into Vector Thousand" with that the armored barian burst into black energy traveled though Vector's sword and into Vector himself.
"You had a third form? "'Dento' asked.
"Yeah" Vector said " I look like a smaller wingless Don Thousand . The power level I had was near Capeca or just under her.
"I see "The former Elder Barian said with a small smile. "Well I think I'll take my leave"
"What do you mean?" Vector asked.
"I'm done here" The amber eye Barian said "My power is yours, you've earned it" With that Dento burst into green start dust that swirled around Vector.
Vector's purple eyes shot open "Wow" he said looking around he was Draken asleep on a chair by his bed. Vector would have tried to do a wet willy on the older man if Draken hadn't woken up.
"Oh Ray, How are you? "Draken asked.
Vector now used to being call that answered. "Good better really" Sitting up more and got out of the bed "I think I can become a true barian again"
"We need to see if that is true "Draken stretch "I'll get everyone.
Once the group had gather (Vector subjected to the hug of death by Yuma) everyone wanted to know What had happen.
"Dento came back and help you" Shark said in utter disbelief. Vector having finished his story.
"Hard to believe, huh" Vector said "I'm going to try and change. Barian Battlemorph" After the purple light died everyone saw that the last Emperor had returned.
Vector was now colored gray and black with tiny pink gems found on the sides of his body. He had a crudely shaped barian emblem. Vector still had his purple eyes, but had a black outline to them. His orange hair was now a gray color. Vector had on a sarong decorated with more pink gems and demonic black wings with even more pink gems.
At lest it's not Vector Thousand" Shark said.
"Vector thousand? "Siri asked.
"You don't want to know" Shark, Yuma, Astral, and surprisingly Vector said.
"Okey"
"Yeah, yeah Nash" Vector said with a wave of his hand and trying human "I didn't want that form"
"Good"
Dragonwolf: And Vector is a Barian.
Siri: Cool and you need to tell the reader about co-writing
Dragonwolf: Right. I'm co-writing in a sense with Tsunami Storm i'm writing the duels
Draken: So the chapters will have a longer wait in between and for chaos soul Dragonwolf is writing it but it will be slow the main reason is because there a flame on the story and it got Dragonwolf upset.
