Chapter 21: Girl's duel

Shark look up from his that he was working on because putting a deck together from two different worlds was hard. "Is it just me or is it much colder then before?" he asked the group.

"Obital?" Kite asked his robot. "What is the temperature right now?"

"55f" the robot said "Or 128c"

"Shouldn't the girls be back by now" Yuma said looking at his clock in his duel gazer. He didn't know a lot about girl and how they shopped, but he did know Tori and she would have been back after at least two hours.

"We should cheek on them" Tj suggested

Yuma nodded and dialed Tori's number "Please be okey" he whispered.

Tori heard her duel gazer and pulled it out "Hello" she said.

"Where are you and are the others okey" Yuma's some what frantic voice said.

"We are on Thompson hill" Tori said looking at the street name "But we aren't okey Altaira found us"

"If you want to be precise" Siri called over her shoulder "We found her" Tori flinch at her volume.

"WHAT" the voices of the boys yelled.

"Stay where you are" came Shark's voice.

"Can't really run" Rio called back. She and Siri both had duel anchors on their arms. "Tori, Cathy run Altaira is after me and Siri"

The two human could only stare at their barian friend.

"Go"

With that Tori and Cathy turned and ran.

"2 vs 1. I take it" Siri said as the red rope disappeared and she got out her duel gear.

"Yes that will work kill two birds with one stone" Altaira said "And I will get the other barian brats, but I won't go after the true humans"

"True humans?" Rio asked getting out her own duel gear.

"Like your friends that left" the elder barian said. " Even more I will not attack any Astral beings unless they attack first"

"So you're not an enemy of Astral world?" Rio or rather Marin asked. She had transformed into her barian from.

"No. I'm you're enemy"

Augmented Reality Vision Link Established

Draken look out over the houses in his neighborhood. They were all similar in that they were two stories with a veranda on a side with the only differences was the colors. Draken's was the colors of both Barian and Astral world( red and blue). With the use of binoculars the elder barian saw the ice forming at the end of the road. "What are you doing Siri?" he asked.

"Draken"Astral said floating up to the barian. Yuma wasn't near him because Draken had made two armbands that made a field like the inside of the gold key. Astral could float anywhere he wished.

"What is it?" Draken asked looking at the blue being.

"Rio or rather Marin and Siri are in a duel their opponent is Altaira" Astral explained. "By the way is Altaira harder then Dento?"

"Yes, She is" Draken said looking back over the icy street "Only Vegaus is stronger"

"What can we do?" Astral asked.

"We find them"

"I'll go first" Altaira drew her card " I summon Granite Lioness in attack mode"

[ A female lion with granite skin appeared with a growl( Atk- 1200, Def- 1000, Level 3, Earth Attribute)]

"Then I place two cards face down" Altaira finished her turn.

"Siri let me go first" Marin said "She doesn't know my deck"

"Right" Siri said she unlike her dueling partner hadn't transformed.

"I draw" Marin said drawing. Her duel pod was now an irregularly shape and purple and black in color. The field part was three spikes shaped like ice shards that levitated above her wrist. "I summon Aurora wing in Attack mode"

[ A bird with aurora colored wing appeared on a ice spike( Atk-1200, Def-1600, level 4, Water Attribute)]

"Then end my turn with on face down" Marin card appeared in front of her.

"My turn" Siri said drawing her her card. While looking at the cards in her hand, Siri saw a card that rarely show up. 'Well looking like I might get to use this one' "I play the spell card Cost Down and summon Ocean Dragon Knight in defense mode" the orange see dragon appeared.

"Why defense? it is stronger in attack" Marin wounder aloud.

"Her face downs" Siri pointed out the cards in question. "Next my dragons effect when in defense mode with Water and Earth Attribute monsters on the field it counts as two, when use for tributing." her dragon spit into to two (one was paler) then shattered "I summon Order Dragon"

[ This Dragon had a serpent like body. It was green and black with insect like green eyes( Atk- 2900, Def- 1000, level 7, Earth Attribute)]

"That's new" Altaira said with a deadpan voice.

"What dose that one do?" Marin couldn't help but asked.

"Help us for some time" Siri answered "Order Dragon's effect activates, For my next three turns the only person can activate spell/trap card from the field is me, wrath of the land" the black/green let out a shriek and the only cards on the field were covered by tree vines that had sprouted from the ground.

"Do you realize that your partner is also included" Altaira said.

"I do" Siri said pulling a card from her hand "And that is why I'm playing the spell card Breaking Aura. This card breaks one player of Order Dragon's ability and that player is Marin." this card had the outline of Order Dragon in what look like a cave. Marin's cards were also cleared of tree vines. "Now attack Granite Lioness" Siri ordered. Order Dragon shot a green beam at the rock feline.

"My Face downs my be unusable" Altaira said pulling out a card "But the card in my hand are not. I play the trap card Rock Slide. I can activate this card from my hand if I have only one Rock type monster on my field. This card hales the damage and the targeted monster is not destroyed." a ton of rock crashed down stopping the attack.

[Altaira life points: 4000- 3150]

"Every card has a weakness" Siri said with a snarl. "I end my turn"

"What is with this ice" Alito said after falling down for the fifth time. "Plus it fell like we're back in barian or when the Earth was fussed with Barian world" he had transformed unintentionally after his second time falling.

"It is a Area Field Summoning Siri is working on" Draken explained he and Shark alone of the barian wasn't in their barian from "She is trying to bring the crystal ice field from Baria to an other world. Of course that field is red while this one is whitish- blue"

"So she is fussing the Earth with Barian world" Mizar said "But it wont last will it"

"No"

"What do we do to help" Tj asked.

"We give Siri a Barian Sphere Cube" Shark said holding out the small red sphere "This is Draken's it wont be essay to disperse"

"That is true" Altaira agreed "And with that two more turns until I can use this card to end you two"

"We will bet you by then" Marin retorted.

"Unlikely" Altaira said while drawing her card "I summon Diatomaceous Great Shark in defense mode"

[ A great white shark made out of diatomaceous rock(Atk,Def- 0, level 4, Earth Attribute)]

"No attack or defense points?" Siri asked herself with a frown "That is never a good thing"

"And it's a level 4 on top of that" Marin agreed with Siri.

"I use my Shark's ability to summon a monster one level lower here is Marble Thylacine in attack mode" Altaira said.

[ A transparent Tasmain Tiger appeared and yawned wide(Atk- 1600, Def- 1400, Level 3, Earth Attribute)]

"Wow an extinct animal" Marin said.

"Her deck is made of predatory animal out of the three main types of rocks" Siri said. "Dinosaurs are included"

"Next my Thylacine lowers the level of the monster that summon it" Altaira said.

[Diatomaceous Great Shark level; 4-3]

"Three level 3s" both younger barians said with wide eyes.

"Now bow before my number "Altaira said before chanting "Dig in the earth for igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rock. To find one is like finding gold, but to find all three is finding the hole treasure, Xyz negative number 7 Queen of rock"

[ the monster was similar to when it appeared before but it now had -7 on its shoulder]

"Next her effect when summon the effect of a trap or spell card is negated for the turn and I can use its ability as my own" with that Marin's card was cover once again with trees vines.

"Siri your dragon's effect just cover card that are set right" Marin asked

"Pretty much"

"So just cards from your hand"

"Yeah"

"I think I will attack Aurora Wing with rock blast" A blast of rock rubble hit the ice bird.

[ Marian and Siri life points: 4000- 3200]

"Aurora wing's effect now activates when destroyed in battle. I can summon it back in defense mode" Marin said that as her bird reappeared.

'We have more life points right now, but that can change vary fast' Siri thought.

"Siri" A voice said form behind her cased her to turn to see the rest of the group coming around a corner.

"Everyone"

"Catch" Shark, who just transformed into Nash, through the sphere cube which Siri did catch "Use that before this field disappears" He wounder why Siri and Altaira like Draken weren't transformed, then he remembered that all three were elder barians, even Siri who was only half barian. They must have need a much higher energy to transform, though Siri and her father could transform for a small amount of time. Nash guessed that Barian world's energy was much lower then when the ten elders ruled.

Altaira meanwhile was looking at Vector. 'I can sense some of Dento's life energy is coming from that boy' Altaira thought. she hadn't believed Draken's letter and wanted to confirm it herself " Gray haired barian" She called.

As the only one with gray hair Vector turn to face Altaira.

"Why do I sense Dento's life energy coming from you" the older female asked.

"He gave it to me "Vector honestly answered "Dento loved you for a vary long time. He won't have served Vegaus otherwise" he didn't know if Altaira would believe him, but Vector know she needed to hear that.

"He is telling the truth, Altaira" Draken said walking up to the duelists "Stop this duel before it's to late. Vegaus wont like to see you hurt"

Vegaus look up from his paperwork. He was the CEO of a shipping company, so he often had this type of work to do. He also work out of his home in the human world. 'Altaira should have been back by now' he thought 'Hope nothing has happen to her' quickly finishing the work, Vegaus stood up "Time to find her, though Altaira wont like that"
