A few months later….

The house was ready. Finally. It took Alison some time to put everything together, after all, she did start from nothing. But Emily helped out when she could, even though her schedule was insane, with the exams and practice, and coaching, she barely had time to sleep. So Alison understood and she didn't mind doing it all by herself. She got to pick the furniture she wanted, and the wall colors, and of course; how to decorate everything and where to put it. the good thing is that Emily insisted on having the wedding before they even start moving. After all, all the wedding plans were set, so was the date. And even though Alison thought for a second to postpone the weeding (that's a fight none of the want to remember) Emily didn't even consider it. they had a nice, small wedding. Only with their family and friends, of course they both went all out on the dresses like every bride, but besides that, it was very modest.

Alison was just unpacking the last box. When her new favorite song started playing on the radio, it was "Want to Want Me" by Jason Derulo. She was standing in their new kitchen unpacking plates and coffee mugs when she ran towards the radio and turned the volume up. She started dancing all around the kitchen while singing her lungs out.

"Girllll, you don't want. I want you to want me. " she definitely didn't notice her girl standing in the door way with a huge smile on her face.

"And if you want, hey girl, you got meee." As Alison turned around to see the look on Emily's face, she stopped for a second, shocked that she'd been caught at this very embarrassing moment. But it did only took a second for herself to realize that she doesn't care, this was her favorite song and if she wants to dance like a maniac, she will. She broke her eye contact with the mermaid and without saying anything she continued to dance and sing her lungs out.

"Just the thought of you gets me so high, so high."

Emily was a bit surprised that Alison continued without saying a word, so she figured why not dance with her? And before you know it the two of them were dancing and laughing, really loud. When the song ended they were both breathless, and when they calmed down their breathing, Emily could finally wrap her hands around Alison's waist as the blonde hugged her back.

"Hi wifey." Emily said once they pulled apart.

"I will never get tired of you calling me that." Alison smirked.

"And I will never get tired of saying it. " Emily said and leaned in to capture her wife's lips in a loving kiss. Alison smiled into Emily's mouth and replied something that sounded like "hi baby" while she laughed.

"I didn't know you'd be home so soon." Alison said after she let go of her mermaid and faced the box again.

"Clearly." Emily chuckled as she made her way to the fridge to grab some water.

"Well actually, I was thinking maybe you wanted to come to the mall with me, I need to buy a nightstand and light bulbs for the guestroom."

"You had me at 'mall'. Give me five minutes to get ready" Alison quickly ran up the stairs to change without even giving Emily a chance to reply, but Emily was used to it, some things just never change.

Xoxoxox

"aww Emmy, look at this dress, its so beautiful." They were passing by a small shop, Emily was holding the bag of light bulbs in her left hand while holding Alison's hand with her right.

"Yes. Its very beautiful."

"400$? Who am I, the mayor? Why the hell is it so expensive."

"Umm I don't know baby, do you want to try it on?" Emily looked at her wife, she hated when she saw her girl frustrated, she wanted to give her everything she ever wanted, but some things are just bigger than her.

"No I don't want to try it on. It will just make me feel bad." Alison made her mad face when her brows would get all crinkled, Emily thought it was adorable but she figured its not the time to point it out. "Come on, we have a nightstand to buy."

As they walked into the furniture store, not letting go of their hands even for a second, they past a blonde worker, she was too pretty for Alison's liking and she felt that girl's eyes on Emily.

"I'm going to find a good nightstand, you wanna take a look around?" Emily asked about a minute after they got in.

"sure, I'll catch up with you." With that Alison let go of Emily's hand, she suddenly felt a cold rush through her and felt her Goosebumps on her arm.

Just a few minutes later Emily found two nightstands she liked but couldn't make up her mind on which one. God, right now she really wishes she didn't split from Alison, she could definitely use her help right now, but finding her will take even more time.

"Do you need any help?" Emily heard a voice coming from behind her, when she turned around she saw a blonde girl with a shirt that has the name of the store written on it.

"Umm, sure. I cant decide which one to put in my guestroom." The girl stepped forward and stood beside Emily, both looking down on the nightstands.

"The left one." The girl smiled.

"Really?" Emily politely smiled back.

"Oh yeah, the right one is for old people. No offence."

"Non taken." Emily laughed.

"I'm Clara by the way."

"Emily."

"Well then, Emily. What's a pretty girl like you doing in here looking for a nightstand?"

Emily got a little red from this girl hitting on her, but she was used to it. She had a speech ready every time.

"Actually,-" Emily started to answer when she heard a very familiar voice coming from behind her.

"You can stop drooling now, what ever you name is." Alison wished she found Emily even before their conversation started, but she was glad she crush this chick now.

"Aliso- " Emily was frankly a bit shocked from the words coming out of her wife's mouth, she wasn't expecting this at all.

"She has a ring on her finger, if you haven't noticed."

"I I-I –" the poor girl was trying to defend herself, but the words just didn't come out.

"She's taken, so I suggest you try your luck somewhere else." With that Alison started walking away, she didn't care if Emily was following her or not, she just wanted to get out of there, she felt heat rushing up her face. She didn't even know why she felt like this, or why she snapped, Emily was hers, they both knew that. She reached a bench outside and sat down.

"What the hell was that?" Emily asked once she reached the blonde, she had to walk really fast to catch up with her and she cursed her heels right now.

"Nothing." Alison lifted her head to look at her confused wife.

"Nothing?! You practically peed on me back there. And that poor girl-"

"Oh so you do like her?!"

"Like her? Are you crazy? Of course I don't like her, I liked the nightstand! But I guess that's out the window, I'm not going back there ever again." Emily said as she sat beside Alison. After a short pause Emily decided to speak again.

"Ali are you jealous?"

"What? No." Alison replied quickly. But Emily knew she was lying, she just raised her left brow with her questioning look. "Maybe a little." Alison finally gave in. Emily smiled and wrapped her arm around her girl.

"And why would the Alison Dilaurentis be jealous?" Emily chuckled.

"Fields. Alison Dilaurentis-Fields." Alison corrected. "And I don't know, I guess it's because we haven't spent time together for a long time. And seeing her get your attention made me feel tingly in my stomach."

"That's called jealousy." Emily teased.

"Whatever." Alison replied.

Emily kissed Alison's temple, she felt bad for neglecting the blonde lately and promised to herself to try even harder to hang out with her girl more.

"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault, babe." Alison leaned in to Emily's embrace and she could smell her, the smell that could make her feel better in seconds.

"I'll tell you what." Emily turned to look into Alison's eyes. "I, am going to take you out on a date tonight. It's my day off so lets make the best of it. But until then, what do you wanna do first?" Emily kissed Alison on the lips softly and tightened her grip around her.

"Get ice-cream." Alison giggled, she felt silly for snapping earlier, and like always, Emily knows just what to say to make her feel better.

"What my wifey wants, my wifey gets." Emily said as she stood up and intertwined her fingers with Alison's.

Alison was so glad to finally be back from school. Her date with Emily ended up keeping her up very late. They did have to make up for lost time, and lost orgasms. She made her way to the kitchen, but suddenly she heard a bark.

"Emily." She called, searching from where the barks and whispers came from. "Babe, are you home?" she yelled again, but as she made her way into the living room she spotted Emily sitting on the ground with a puppy between her legs.

"aww, he's so cute!" Alison said as she made her way to pet the dog.

"That's right, you are a cutie." Emily said in her 'talk to a baby or dog' voice.

When the puppy started licking Alison's palm, Alison lifted her eyes that were met with big brown ones.

"Whose dog is this Emmy?"

"What do you mean?" Emily replied the question with a question trying to buy time. Alison went back to petting the dog.

"Who's the owner? Someone I know?" when Alison looked up again, she was met with a very guilty face, a face she came to know very well as the time past by.

"What did you do?" Alison said, squinting her eyes.

"Okay, before you get mad. Just remember that you said he was cute."

"Emily." Alison stood up and so did Emily, the dog just started walking all around the house.

"Look, I found him alone, and wet, and shivering. I couldn't just leave him there."

"A dog Emily? A freaking dog? It couldn't just be; 'Hi honey, I got us a fish.' Or 'Hi sweetie, I got us a quite rabbit, that doesn't need to be taken for a walk 4 times a day'!"

"What was I supposed to do? Walk away?! Cause I know you wouldn't. This is a great step for us."

"It's a lot of responsibility Emily, and you're hardly home. What if I forget to feed him? I am not ready to take care of another breathing creature!"

"Sure you are. You take great care of me." Emily smiled, trying to lighten her wife up. "Please, please, please." Emily said as the puppy showed up again and started jumping around her feet, wagging his tale.

"Okay, fine."

"Yes!" Emily yelled, jumping up and down. She came over to Alison and wrapped her strong arms around her, still jumping. "We have a dog, baby! I always wanted a dog!" Alison couldn't help but laugh, honestly at this moment; Emily's reaction was worth all the mess that was about to come.

"But tomorrow we both go to buy him some food and all the things he need."

"I promise." Emily let go of Alison and went over to the puppy, she bent down and patted him. "You get to stay, boy."

"Now go wash him. With soap, lots of it." Alison said, smiling. And Emily just kissed her lips as a reply. She took the dog in her hands and made her way to the stairs.

"Wait." Alison said, making Emily turn around. "What should we name him?"

"How about…Pepe?" Emily suggested, after thinking about it, Alison decided she liked that name.

"Pepe it is." Alison's smile was even bigger now, she started to get excited. She did also always want a dog. Emily was already out of sight. And so Alison murmured to herself.

"You're going to bring lots of trouble, Pepe."
