A/N I'm so very sorry that this took so long to get posted but I have been working two jobs, and so I usually have about ten days of working with one day off, then another ten days of working. A huge thanks to my friend OoJasper'sAngeloO for her awesome beta work. Hope you enjoy.

Peter's POV

I had heard the conversation between Carlisle and the Major. I knew that what they had been discussin' was in fact very possible. I also knew what needed to be done in order for a safe endin' for everyone. The only problem I was havin' was thinkin' of the Major as a father. If you had asked me a month ago I probably would have laughed in your face.

I did know that it was possible. I knew a vampire who had fallen for a human female and she ended up pregnant. Fortunately the vampire was smart and had her try blood since she couldn't keep human food down. It was only a few days into the pregnancy and the turn around in her health was very obvious at least for us vampires. She actually gave birth to a very healthy girl and was turned shortly after.

I would make sure that the Major knew this. We didn't really need or want Carlisle here. It was too risky a chance to take that he wouldn't be followed. The man might be smart enough to actually get away from the Volturi, but there was Demetri and he could find him and us with him. So with that knowledge I headed to the house.

Usually I made sure to stay away when he was with her in the bedroom. There's no fuckin' way I'm getting my head ripped off for intrudin' on their time together even if she was sleepin'. It was a rule that had been started when we were still with Maria. If one of us was in a bedroom then no one was allowed to interrupt unless it was an extreme emergency. So with that in mind I stood close enough to the house for him to hear me and yet far enough away so that I wouldn't be seen as a threat and called him,"Major, I have some news that might be important for Bella's well-being."

"I'm not fuckin' leavin' her alone. Send Char up here. I'll be out there in a minute." He replied.

He was usin' his vampire speed to join me and I knew better than to try to beat around the bush. His only desire was to keep his mate safe and happy and if he wasn't there with her then he couldn't do that. At least that's the way us male vampires think. We need to be by their sides especially if they are in any kind of danger. At this point his mate was.

I quickly told him that I had heard his conversation with Carlisle and that what they had discussed is true. She is pregnant. I also told him about the vampire I knew of and told him everything that I knew about her pregnancy and the birth. I told him that I happen to know of a blood bank and that we could get some donated blood for her. He asked if I could go and get some for her right away. When he looked at me he knew I was withholdin' shit.

"I think you should call Carlisle and tell him not to come. Its too fuckin' dangerous for him, for us and especially for your mate. While Demetri can't fuckin' track us he sure as shit can track Carlisle. He may just get close enough for him to be able to track us here before Bella's shield kicks in, if it kicks in at all for him. Remember she won't want him here and it could be too late anyway to stop Demetri from followin' Carlisle. Of course the choice is yours Major.

I can get in touch with the vampire and find out everything we need to know in order to make sure that both mama and baby come out of this alive and healthy. Shit maybe I can even persuade him to come and help and his mate as well. It would be much safer than for Carlisle to come who has never dealt with a vampire/human pregnancy. Plus takin' the risk of him bein' tracked here."

"Can you assure me that my mate will be safe with these friends of yours? We are goin' to need help, but you're right as usual. We can't take the risk of Carlisle comin' here. I trust him as far as Bella is concerned because he truly loves her as a daughter, but he can be tracked. If you call these friends of yours and it cost the life of my mate or unborn child then your life will be forfeited as well as Char's and only endin' in my own death. I can't lose her. If the child lives and she doesn't I'll only stay alive long enough to find a safe home for him or her before joinin' Bella in death. Do you understand?"

"I would never put her in danger. She's a sister to both Char and I. If you recall we had to save her from your ass several times. We protected her with our lives even against her own mate. It won't change and I promise that these vampires won't hurt her and neither will their daughter."

He gave his approval to call them. Then I remembered something and told the Major before he could go back into the house, "Oh, I forgot to tell you. They drink both animal and human blood. They only drink from criminals like us, but they also drink from animals. Their daughter only hunts animals."

I didn't bother to tell him that he knew the male vampire. He had also saved his life after I told him that for some reason he was important which made him just report to Maria that the newborn had been killed. Maybe this is why he was so important, he would one day be able to help the Major's mate.

I had kept in touch with Ethan because it just seemed like the right thing to do. Char and I both had helped him when he found his mate and needed a more permanent place to stay. We had some property high up in the mountains close to Branson, Missouri and gave it to him for his family. We helped him after his mate was turned.

Char helped with the daughter and I helped with the newborn. Although I must admit that she wasn't as wild as the average newborn she still had her moments. The presence of their daughter seemed to have a calmin' effect on the woman as well as that of her mate. Where was the Major durin' this time? Where he could usually be found. In some female vampire's bed.

This was when he met Alice and then eventually took her to the Cullens. He liked that she would do anything he asked her to do and so stayed with her for awhile. I knew that he would eventually get tired of her and leave. While I didn't particularly like her I didn't hate her either and I didn't want to be there when he told her to fuck off. I knew that even though he was crude and mean, she still loved him.

I called Ethan and explained the situation to him. He was shocked that the Major had finally met his mate. He, like everyone else who knew him well, never believed that he would ever find a mate and even more surprisin' in a human at that. Both him and his mate Beth were more than willin' to help the Major's mate. They both felt that since the Major had allowed him to leave he basically saved both of them and let them have a daughter.

He explained that it would take a couple of days to get here. He would have to drive, but he gave a list of instructions for the new mom-to-be that would tie her over until they got here. As soon as he told me the main thing I knew there might be trouble either from the Major or from Bella. Neither was gonna like it, but accordin' to Ethan it would keep Bella from wastin' away and help her to keep food down as well. I just hope that neither would try to shoot the messenger.

Bella's POV

I woke up to hearing what sounded like a pissing contest between Jasper and Peter. Both were growling and it looked like they would pounce any second. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I could hear all of the fucking growling. I was about to say something when Char ran into the room and actually fucking smacked both of them on the back of their heads.

I heard every word she said, "Are you two done with tryin' to see who's dick is longer? I can't believe that you two could be such assholes. Major, your mate is in the room and she has no clue what's goin' on. All she knows is that she wakes up to you two tryin' to measure your dicks and bein' assholes. Do I need to remind you that she is still human?"

With that Jasper quickly came over to me and said the one thing that made me fall in love with him even more,"I'll explain to her what is goin' on and then we'll let her decide what she wants to do." He said this while never taking his eyes off of my own.

Peter and Char both left and Jasper sat down on the bed next to me. He pulled me gently into his lap and then asked if I was hungry. I was, but I was actually afraid to eat anything because the last few days had been the same thing. I get hungry, I eat, I vomit, I get hungry, well you get the picture. He then told me that he had some information about what was wrong and what we could do to help.

Before he could say anything though I blurted out, "I'm pregnant!"

He smiled slightly and nodded. He had spoken with Carlisle and had wanted him to come and check me out, but apparently Peter had a friend who had actually gone through this and his mate was able to carry the baby, have it and then was turned but there were a couple of things that he had discovered. Things that he was arguing with Peter about, but both were to help both the baby and me survive.

One was obvious, I needed to drink blood. The second was that I needed to drink some venom as well. This was the part that worried my very sexy mate. He was afraid that it would start the change, but according to Peter's friend it helped his mate's body become stronger to carry the baby. It has to be introduced into the bloodstream in order for the change to occur.

Then he told me that the friend was coming and bringing both his mate and their daughter. It was too dangerous to allow Carlisle to come and since he had no clue what to do it was much better this way. I felt much better, but the thought of having to drink blood didn't sit very well with me. He told me that, that is what I woke up to, him and Peter arguing about me drinking blood and venom.

I told him that I would try it as I'm tired of vomiting every time I ate. Char, bless her heart, had at least gotten some of the Styrofoam cups with lids and straws so I didn't have to see it. Jasper asked if there was venom in the blood and she said that it was up to him to supply that part since I was his mate. He grabbed the cup and was gone, but was back a few seconds later holding the cup out for me to take.

I tried it and it actually tasted really good. Char then brought me up some toast and not surprisingly it stayed down. I was able to start eating again over the next couple of days. I was also starting to show and Jasper refused to leave my side. He was still trying to get used to the idea that he was going to be a father, but the change in him was one that could be seen by anyone who knew him well.

He kept his hand on my stomach and actually started talking to it, my stomach that is. He told our baby that he was his or her's father and that he couldn't wait to meet him or her. He also told him or her that he wasn't an easy man to love, but that their mama was helping him to understand what true love really is and that it was his intention to make sure that he or she was loved and knew it.

Finally came the day that Peter's friends were due to arrive. Actually it turned out that Jasper knew the vampire long before he left Maria. I was going to meet someone else that knew Jasper before I met him and I was kind of excited. We would also get to meet their daughter who was half vampire and half human. I would get to see and hear what to expect not only with the pregnancy, but also with our child as well.

When they arrived Jasper helped me downstairs and we waited for them on the porch. I knew that I wouldn't be in any danger, I trusted Peter to make sure that no one came around who was. I watched as they got out of the car. Ethan was first and I was surprised to see that he seemed to be excited about meeting me. He opened the door for his mate and then his daughter.

He was tall, dark and handsome. He had thick, curly black hair that fell just below his ears and a smile that was dazzling. He was slim and like Jasper had an aura about him that screamed danger. As soon as he looked at me Jasper pushed me behind him acting like I was in danger; asshole. He's the one who said this vampire could come. Yeah but at least I understood why he was doing it.

Char had explained that most males are overly protective of their mates. I needed to be careful of any new males and make sure I didn't make eye contact or touch them. Peter was a different story as I have been around him since I was around Jasper and he knew that I was safe with him, but it might take awhile for Jasper to trust this new male, even though he knew him and in his mind knew he wouldn't hurt me. His instincts told him a different story.

What I didn't expect was what happened later. I looked at this vampire's mate and she was of course beautiful like all female vampires are. She had long golden blonde hair that she wore in a braid and she was a tiny thing. Her eyes and those of her mate's were gold with a tinge of orange.

Their daughter also had the vampire beauty, but her eyes were a dark brown and her hair was a very dark brown, almost black. It was long and curly like both of her parents. She seemed to have taken the best qualities of them. She was short as well and appeared to be full grown. She actually looked like she was about seventeen or eighteen.

Jasper let me stand next to him as Ethan introduced himself and his family, "Hi there, I'm Ethan and this is my mate Elizabeth, but she prefers to be called Beth. This beautiful girl here is our daughter Caroline, but don't even think about using her full name, she goes by Carly. We are more than happy to come and help you through your pregnancy."

What happened next wasn't good. Jasper kept his arms around me, but allowed Ethan to come closer to shake my hand. It was quick and while Jasper tensed he allowed it. Then his mate came over to shake my hand and the next thing I knew she was hugging the Major. I saw fucking red. She was touching what was mine and he was hugging her back. I didn't stop to think, I just lunged at the female who was touching my mate.

Of course fucking Peter had to interfere and stopped me. That pissed me off even more and I started to fight him. The female had let go of Jasper, but it was too late as far as I was concerned. He had hugged her and if I had hugged Ethan then he would be killing him. Peter finally got me to calm down by warning me that Jasper would use his gift if necessary. Right now I wanted nothing to do with him and I sure as fuck didn't want him using his gift on me.

Finally Peter let me go after I promised to behave. I didn't stop, slow down or hesitate I just ran into the house. That shit just wasn't going to fly with me. I can't hug or touch a male, but he can practically fuck a female right in front of me? I had had it and I wasn't gonna stick around for this. I flew up to our bedroom and started packing. I was leaving his ass.

He came into the room a minute later and tried to talk to me, but I wasn't going to listen to his ass try to explain how it was okay for him to touch and be touched by females and I had to watch; but I couldn't even look at a male without him going all cave man on me. Just as I pulled out some of my clothes and threw them into a suitcase everything went black. . .
