Carlisle's POV:
The kids are playing on the sand near the water. They've been having so much fun. Right now Bella and Edward are playing in the water with Esme and Kate, Alice and Jasper are making sandcastles with me and Rosalie and Emmett are making some type of water castle a little closer to the water with Aro and Elezear.
"Daddy! Daddy look Daddy Emmett found me a pink shell!" Rosalie said as I ran to me with a shell in her hand
"Oh Wow. Did you find him a shell too?" I asked
"Yeah! I'm gonna go find him another one!" she said before running away
"I wanna go in the water" Jasper said
"Me too" Alice said
"Then lets go come on" I said "You two are covered in sand"
"I like the sand" Jasper said as he rubbed it on his chest. I picked them up and brought them to the water. We all played for another fifteen minutes before the kids got hungry and tired.
"Come its time to get changed" I said as I picked Rosalie up
We all spilt up into different room to get the kids changed. Rosalie sat on the floor wrapped up in her towel as Esme and I dried of Edward and Jasper.
"Daddy do Bella and I have to take a nap?" Edward asked as I put a dry t-shirt on him
"No but you two do have to have quiet time in the day room" I said as I put him down. Bella and Edward are sharing a small room next to Alice and Rosalie and then across from them is Jasper and Emmett.
"Come here Rosalie lets change you" Esme said as she waved Rosalie over when the boys left
"I want Daddy" Rosalie said
"Baby Daddy's going to get lunch ready so I'm going to change you" Esme said as she picked Rosalie up. Rosalie began to cry for me but I stepped back because she needs to learn these tantrums won't always get her way. She needs to get used to Esme.
"Nooo!" Rosalie cried as Esme laid her on the floor and took her bathing suit off before drying her off.
"Oh its time for you to take a nap" Esme said as she dressed Rosalie in a white sundress and slipped underwear on her. "See all done" Esme said before picking her up and rubbing her back
"Put me down" Rosalie said when we went to the kitchen. Esme put her down and Rosalie turned to Esme and stuck her tongue at her before smacking her leg.
"Hey you do not hit Mommy" I said
"You can sit in the corner for three minutes for that" Esme said before taking Rosalie upstairs
Esme's POV:
Rosalie screamed her little head off her whole three minutes in the corner. I sat on the bed and watched her until her time was up. "Come here Rosalie" I said
Rosalie walked over to me sniffing. "Honey you can't hit me when your mad and you don't make mean faces at me it hurts my feelings"
"Sorry" Rosalie sniffed
"Okay I forgive you" I said before giving her a hug
"No" Rosalie whined before running out the room. I really wish she'd stop hating me. What am I not doing that Victoria did?
"Why are you looking so down?" Kate asked me as we had lunch. All the kids are sitting in the living room at their own small table.
"Rosalie hates me. No matter what I do she hates me for not being Victoria"
"Well what did Victoria do with her? Maybe you could try to act like her"
"But she was just starting to like me I don't know what changed. I shouldn't even be doing this, she should already see me as Mommy not Victoria" I said with tears in my eyes
Kate pulled me into a hug "Don't cry" she said "She's going to love you"
"Mommy" Jasper said as he walked over to me holding Alice's hand "We wanna take a nap in the same room" he said
"Well then you have to ask Rose and Emmett if they're okay with that" I said
"They said okay!" Alice said happily
"You two have to stay in separate beds" Kate said as she stood up and put Alice on her hip as I picked Jasper up
"Did you have fun on the beach?" I asked before kissing his cheek
"Yeah. Wait I'm gonna give Rosalie a kiss goodnight so she won't cry" he said as he slipped down me
Jasper ran to the living room where Elezear and Carlisle are cleaning up and Emmett and Rosalie are drinking their sippy cups of milk.
"Night night Rosie" Jasper said as he walked over to her
"Night night" Rosalie said before kissing his lips. "Em Rosalie come on its time to take a nap" I said
"Okay" Emmett said
After putting the kids down for a nap we prepared snacks and toys for our night at a beach a few hours away from a fire works show where the kids can play and watch the show.
"Esme I love how close Emmett and Rosalie are already. He talks about her all the time at home" Elezear said as he packed food with me
"Yes whenever she's upset she'll cry for Emmett or her brothers" I said
"She needs to get a little closer to other girls. She's just like Edward in that way he's such a charmer with the girls and she seems to always get the attention from boys" Carlisle said "And Jasper is like me and just goes with Alice's demands. I think its very cute"
"Oh yeah Esme are you still signing Jasper up for the soccer program this summer?"
"Yes of course and Rosalie will start gymnastics and ballet"
"We're putting Alice in tap and because Bella recently decided to quit ballet, she's going to do the tap as well. Ballet was just a bit to competitive for her and she doesn't like atmospheres like that" Garret said
"Emmett is going to do the soccer and eventually he might do baseball" Aro said
"Oh summer" I said
Once we packed the car we pretty much just waited for the kids to wake up. Edward and Bella are already in the van with Garrett, Kate, and Carlisle.
I went to wake up Jasper and Alice first while Aro got Rosalie and Emmett.
Alice crawled into Jasper's bed. They are so cute.
"Hello. Did you two have a nice sleep?" I asked as I took their covers off of them. "Come you can finish sleeping in the car" I said as I picked up both of them
"Mommy" Alice whined
"Mommy's in the car we're going to her now" I said as we walked out the room
"Esme she is so precious" Aro said as he walked out carrying Rosalie in his arms. Aro has Emmett.
"Yes she is" I said before kissing her cheek "Someone had a good nap"
"Where's Daddy?" Jasper asked
"He's in the car we're going to see fire works" I said as we walked outside. We strapped Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett in the back.
"Okay off to the fireworks" Garret said before he started driving
Carlisle's POV:
I thought I five hour drive with six kids would be fun now that we're on the beach but about twenty minutes in everyone got upset.
"Daddy I want to sit with you" Alice whined from her sit. Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, and Alice are in the back of the van. Bella, Edward, Kate, and Esme are in the middle. Aro and Elezear in the two middle front seats and I'm in the passenger seat while Garret drives.
"Baby daddy's driving when we get out I'll come get you" Garret said
"But I want you" Alice said before beginning to cry
"Alice be quiet you always cry" Bella whined
"Bella why don't you play a game with her she's cranky" Kate said as she turned around to rub Alice's knee
"Her blanket is still in my bag" Bella said as she got Alice's knitted pink blanket from her bag and handed it to Kate.
"Thank you Bella here baby" Kate said she handed it to Alice
"Daddy my stomach hurts" Jasper whined
Before I could say anything we hit a big bump in the road which freaked out all the little kids. Rosalie screamed at the top of her lungs and started crying, Alice began to cry along with Jasper, Emmett freaked out and began to cry for Elezear.
Garret pulled over and I got out and grabbed Jasper and Rosalie. "I want my Mommy!" Rosalie cried. I know she doesn't mean Esme.
"Shhh its alright" I said as I walked over to Esme
"Mommy" Jasper whined as he reached for her "Do you think we should head back?" I asked as I rubbed Rosalie's back
"No I think we should just re arrange seats and keep them entertained. She's falling asleep I'm sure they all will" Garret said as he rocked Alice
"Oh bubba I'm sorry that scared you" Elezear said as gave Emmett to Aro.
We changed seats and Bella, Edward, Alice and Garret sat in the back. Esme sat beside Jasper and I sat in between him and Rosalie. Then Elezear sat with Emmett and Aro drove and Kate sat in the passenger seat.
The drive to the fireworks was silent. The kids were very good and well behaved. When we got out the car we set up a large picnic blanket and got lunch started.
"I love how quiet they are once we put food in front of them" I said as I watch the children eat
"Food makes everyone happy" Kate said
Rosalie walked over to me then and sat down on my lap. I kissed her cheek, "You feel better?"
She nodded and continued to eat her food. "Its getting dark the fireworks are going to start soon" Esme said
"I'm gonna sit with Emmett" she said as she went to sit on a blanket as the show started.
The kids actually really enjoyed the show I thought they'd get scared but they're enjoying it.
"Daddy can we do them at our house?" Edward asked
"Its illegal son" I said "We can go to more shows though"
"Daddy" Jasper whined as he stood up and walked over to me "My stomach still hurts-"
Jasper threw up in the sand and not on the blanket. I immediately wiped his face when he finished and held him close as he cried. "You're okay buddy"
"Here let him drink some of this for his stomach" Esme said as she handed me a can of ginger ale with a straw
"Here buddy drink this" I said as I sat him on my lap
"He'll be okay" Aro said as he gave Jasper a sympathetic look
"His tummy hurts?" Alice asked as she walked over with Rosalie
"Yes but he'll be okay" I said
"Okay" Alice said before walking away
"I'll give him a kiss and make him better" Rosalie said as she crouched down in front of Jasper and kissed his lips. "You'll be okay"
"You're such a good sister" Esme said
Esme's POV:
MORNING:
Everyone is downstairs eating breakfast except Rosalie and Jasper. Rosalie insist on watching Jasper. She's laying in bed with him "Good morning baby girl are you alright?" I asked before kissing her hair
She didn't answer me. "Baby come on its time to eat" I said as I took her hand
"No! I want Jasper" she snapped
"He'll be right here when you finish" I said as I picked her up and noticed that she wet herself
"Baby you wet yourself you have to tell Mommy when this happens. You should've went potty" I said as I took her to the bathroom and removed her panties before sitting her on the toilet as she cried
"Don't cry you're not in trouble" I said as I grabbed a tissue to wipe her face "I think you might be coming on with a cold too"
"I'm finished" she sniffed
"Okay lets get you new pajamas" I said before wiping her down and carrying her to my room. I dressed her in white Frozen nightgown and put her underwear on her before carrying her to the kitchen
"You can bring Jasper his food in a few minutes" I said as I sat her down next to Edward
I smiled when Edward gave Rosalie a hug and kissed her cheek. They do that every morning.
"Where are we going today?" Bella asked
"Well because you and Edward have been so good you two are going to an amusement park not to far from here with me and Carlisle" Kate said
"Yay!" Edward and Bella cheered
"I wanna go too" Alice whined "That's not fair"
"But wait everyone else is going to the water park!" Aro said "Doesn't that sound fun?"
"Yeah!" Emmett said
After breakfast we got the kids ready. Rosalie tugged on my dress as before we went upstairs "Is Jasper coming too?"
"Yes baby come on lets get dressed"
I dressed Rosalie in a cute red Elmo bikini over a red sundress with white flip flops. I put her hair in two French braids.
"You look so pretty and Jasper you look so handsome come take a picture with your sister" I said as I set them up near the door
I dressed Jasper in red Elmo swimming trunks with a white shirt and black sandals. He's feeling a bit better now that he's eaten.
After we took a few pictures I brought the kids downstairs. Edward and Bella left a few minutes ago.
"Where's Daddy?" Rosalie asked as she looked around as we got ready by the door
"He went with Edward and Bella baby you'll see him soon" I said
"But I want my Daddy" Rosalie whined before she started crying. She's tired.
"What's wrong Rosalie?" Emmett asked
"She misses her Daddy" I said
"Oh come here mija" Elezear said as he picked up Rosalie. Elezear grew up in Costa Rica so he speaks Spanish he's even taught Emmett some Spanish.
"We're going to have so much fun" Elezear said
All the kids fell asleep during our thirty minute drive to the water park and because we don't want fussy toddlers while we walk through the water park we're letting them sleep. We turned the air conditioning on of course.
"Oh my gosh I wanna go to the water park!" Aro said
"Its about the kids Aro" Garret said
"Its so hot!" Aro said
"Maybe we should wake them up" I said
"Are you crazy? They're all going to be nightmares!" Elezear said "I really can't deal with that I would like to have fun too"
About five minutes later the kids slowly started waking up. "Hi big boy" I said as I picked up Jasper and kissed his cheek before I put him on the ground.
"Where do you guys want to go first? Wanna go on a water slide?" Aro asked we're pushing the kids in strollers. Garret is pushing Jasper and Emmett and Aro is pushing Alice and Rosalie
"They just woke up lets find something small. Like that" I said pointing a big sprinkler
"Yeah that's perfect go ahead boys" Garret said
The kids ran to the sprinkler and cooled off, when they finished we thought we'd go to a small water slide.
"Was that fun?" I asked Rosalie when she ran to me after she went down the slide
"Yeah I wanna go again!" she said before running back and taking Alice's hand. I'm glad they're starting to bond.
We had a quick lunch before we got the kids dressed in the car. "Arms up" I said to Jasper before putting a shirt on him
"Come on lets get you strapped in" I said as I opened the van door and strapped him into his carseat.
"Did you guys have fun?" I asked as we drove home
"Yeah!"
Carlisle's POV:
For me the trip is coming to the end I have to work but everyone else is going to stay. I'm apprehensive on how Rosalie will act I told Esme to let her come with me but Esme thinks Rosalie needs to learn to be without me. I even asked Edward and Jasper if they wanted to come with me and they said no but I know Rosalie would say yes.
As I sipped my coffee in the morning Rosalie came downstairs rubbing her eyes. I can't help but smile even though I was supposed to leave before the kids woke up. "Hi Daddy" she said
"Hi princess" I said as I picked her up and kissed her cheek a few times "Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, Daddy why are you dressed?" she asked
"Daddy has to go but I'll see you soon and you're going to stay here and play" I said
"I want to come with you" she whined
"What about Emmett and Alice? And your brothers?"
"I'll see them soon I want to go with you" she said
I really don't know how to say no to her "Okay but we have to go now. Go get your elephant and then we'll go"
"Okay!" she said as I put her down
Esme is probably going to kill me but I don't want Rosalie crying and driving her crazy because I'm not here. I left a note before taking Nicola home.
How will Esme react to Carlisle taking Rose?
