Esme's POV:
Rosalie and I have been in Shanghai for three days now. She's having a lot of fun, I'm surprised she hasn't had a meltdown for her brothers or Carlisle yet.
I'm glad we came because we're spreading Fly nicely and the schedule is great for the toddlers and all the workers. Senna's mother Zafrina leads the design committee.
We have breakfast at eight o'clock everyday or on the bus like this morning and then the girls get their clothes for the shoot along with hair and makeup. After hair and makeup it's about nine thirty and from ten to twelve the girls have a photoshoot before their naptime.
When the girls wake up we have lunch and then we do some campaigning or conventions in the town which the girls love because they get a lot of toys. Someone stays with the kids and plays with them while we have meetings before I finally get some time with Rose. We usually explore the town.
Right now Rosalie and Senna are getting dressed in traditional Chinese dresses with sandals and beautiful umbrellas for them to hold.
"Oh you look so pretty girls" I said when Rosalie and Senna got out the dressing room we're at the Shanghai Tower right now.
"This is all so much fun but I miss my son he's five and I haven't been spending a lot of time with him because I've been so busy with Fly" Zafrina said
"I know how you feel my oldest is six and I'm missing so much time with him and Rosalie's twin is so jealous"
"It's still a good experience for the girls" Zafrina said
"Look Mommy they put sticks in my hair" Rosalie said pointing to the chopsticks in her hair keeping the two buns in her hair tight.
"It looks so nice let's send a picture to Daddy" I said as I took my phone out and snapped a picture of her before sending it to Carlisle
Carlisle's POV:
9:30PM
I can barely look at the picture Esme sent me of Rose because I'm trying to get the boys ready for bed and since Esme and Rose left I've been letting the boys stay up later and watch movies after bath time but tonight Jasper is having a tantrum because he wants Rosalie here. He's still mad at Esme but I know he misses her.
"I want Rosie!" Jasper cried on the living room floor
"We can call her in the morning buddy" I said as I picked him up and took to my room with Edward
"Hey how about we stay in my room tonight and watch movies?" I asked
"I want Rosie" Jasper sniffed as I laid him down in my bed with his dragon next to Edward
"She's coming back soon Jasper I promise. Daddy doesn't have to work all day tomorrow so I can pick you two up early and we can go do something fun"
"Okay" Edward said
"You wanna do that Jasper?"
"Yeah" Jasper sniffed and snuggled into my armpit
"Okay well do whatever you guys want" I said
The next morning
Esme called at eight just as we were getting up but she and Rosalie were getting ready for bed.
"Good morning" Esme said as she appeared on the camera
"Hi Mommy!" Edward said as he sat up "I miss you and Rose"
"Oh I miss you too baby. Rosalie come say hi. She's playing with some of her toys" Esme said
"Rosie" Jasper said as he crawled into my lap
"Jasper! Daddy! Edward! Look what I got!" Rosalie said before holding up a small German Shepard puppy "I got to hold it at the convention and they let me have it!"
Jasper gasped "That's not fair she got puppy!"
"It's for all of us" Rosalie said "Mommy said I can keep it! Her name is Nahla!"
I looked at Esme and raised an eyebrow "I couldn't say no, we have plenty of space" Esme said "And Senna's mom isn't going to keep the dog because her husband is allergic so maybe we could take both of them"
"Yay!" Edward said "You'll make it to my recital right?"
"Of course baby" Esme said as she braided Rosalie's hair back "Put the puppy in the crate so you can talk to Daddy"
"So how's soccer going buddy?" Esme asked Jasper
"Good" Jasper said "Sorry for not giving you a kiss"
"Oh it's okay baby" Esme said before pulling a yawning Rose onto her lap
"What did you do today Rosalie?"
"I took pictures in a tower and then some in a pool. Then I went to the convention and did the runway. Then Mommy took me to get presents for you all" Rosalie said. She's speaking so much like Edward now.
"Wow I can't wait to see you guys"
"Jasper when I come back I'm going to sleep in your room okay?" Rosalie said
"Okay" Jasper said. They're so cute but that's not happening because those two stay up playing with toys.
"Alright I don't want her to be grouchy in the morning she has a runway show in the morning" Esme said "I love you have a good day"
"Sleep well. I love you" I said
"Love you" the boys said
"Love you" Rosalie said before blowing us a kiss
"Alright boys time for camp" I said as I closed my laptop
Esme's POV:
THURSDAY MORNING
Rosalie and I should be home by now and I feel like the worst mother in the world because we won't make it in time for Edward's recital because the plane needs more fuel so they had to stop in Russia. It's taking so long they let us get off the plane. The worst part is I can't even call them because there's no service.
"Why do you look sad Mommy?" Rosalie asked tiredly from my lap
"We're not going to make it in time for Edward's recital. Mommy promised him" I said getting emotional
"Oh" Rosalie "So we're not going to see them today?"
"We'll see them tonight. Why do you talk like such a big girl now?" I asked before I kissed her cheek
"I am a big girl" Rosalie said
"No you're supposed to be my baby-"
"Babushka? Babushka Dedushka!" Rosalie said before jumping off my lap and running to James's parents.
"Hello my love we were just on our way to see you" the grandmother said as she scooped Rosalie up into her arms. They can speak English.
"I was in China and I got puppies" Rosalie said "I miss you"
"We miss you my love. But we'll see each other a lot in America"
"Baby can you go check on the puppies for me?" I asked Rosalie
"You're not allowed to be alone with her only Victoria's parents received that privilege" I said "I know you guys are going to try to take her to visit James"
"He wants to apologize to her! You should let him do that at least" The grandfather said
"Rosalie still has nightmares about him! She will not see him and she won't see you unless me or my husband are in the room" I said before going back to Rose
"Can I show them my puppies?" Rosalie asked
"Go ahead you have ten minutes then we have to get on the plane" I said
Edward's POV:
Mommy and Rosie aren't here. I don't know why but Daddy says the plane has delays. I don't want to be mad at Mommy but everyone else's Mommy is here and mine isn't.
"It's okay Edward my Mom said she'll video tape it so she can watch it at home" Bella said as she set up her sheet music before we played
"Let's just play" I said
"I wrote this piece for my music partner and best friend Bella so that's what I called this piece. Bella"
Everyone clapped as Bella and I bowed before sitting in our chairs.
"One two three and" I said before we began to play the piece.
We made no mistakes and it was perfect I just wish Mommy could've been here.
