Esme's POV:
"Oh you're not supposed to be going to school! You have to stay here and be my baby!" I said to Rosalie as I picked her up when I finished putting her uniform on. Rosalie uniform is just a feminine version of Edward's , it's a sleeveless silk navy blue dress with a short sleeve white shirt and white socks with black Mary Janes. Rosalie's grandparents are taking her to visit James tomorrow after school.
Jasper can wear plain clothes to school. "I'm a big girl now though" Rosalie said as I took her downstairs
"I don't like when you say that" I said as I sat her in her chair
"How come I'm not wearing that?" Jasper asked pointing to Rosalie's uniform as I put his pancakes in front of him
"Baby we talked about this, you're going to school with Alice and Rosalie is going to school with Emmett. They have uniforms"
"She's going to Edward's school?" Jasper asked
"No baby she's going to preschool like you" I said "When you both turn five you'll be in the same school"
Kate and I applied Jasper and Alice to New Generations anyway and like we thought they didn't get in. I was upset but I'm glad Rose and Emmett got in.
"Okay" Jasper said
"I'm picking all of you up today" I said "You'll see Daddy tonight he had to work"
"He's not coming?" Rosalie asked sadly
"No baby but he'll take you tomorrow" I said as I put a navy blue headband in her hair
After breakfast and a quick first day of school photoshoot I got the kids in the car.
"Are you crying Mommy?" Edward asked
"I just can't believe you all are going to school. Well Jasper at least I pick you up early" I sniffed "I have to wait for your brother and sister"
I put Rosalie on my hip as we walked to her classroom
"Emmett" Rosalie said as I put her down
"Hey hey can I have a kiss?" I asked before she ran away
I bent down and gave Rosalie a kiss and hug. "I love you, have fun at school I'll pick you up later"
"Love you Mommy" Rosalie said before running to her classroom
"Come here my big seven year old" I said as picked Edward up. I know soon he'll be too big for me to carry. "You be good and have fun okay? I love you"
"Love you too" Edward said before giving me a kiss
Edward recently turned seven and for his birthday he's going with Carlisle, Kate and Bella to New York to see classical performances at Lincoln Center. Bella's still six but she turns seven next week.
"Okay big boy let's get you to school" I said as I buckled Jasper into his car seat again
"I want to stay with you Mommy" Jasper whined
"Baby Mommy is going to come get you soon. I promise, don't you want to learn with Alice and read books?"
"I wanna do that with you Mommy" Jasper said
"I know you do baby but I promise you're going to have fun" I said as I got out of the car
Jasper clung to my blazer as I carried him to preschool "I don't want to go" Jasper whined before he started to cry
I'm not shocked at Jasper's behavior because he's my baby boy and I kept him close when we lost Rose. I can see why it's so hard on him to leave right now.
I held my own tears in because I know that will just make things worse and wrapped my arms around Jasper.
"Baby I'm coming back I promise. After we get your brother and sister we're going to get ice cream, but if you don't behave today that won't happen so I need you to behave"
"Okay" Jasper sniffed before I gave him a kiss "I love you" I said as I walked him inside
Jasper ran right to Alice and once they got distracted with toys I walked back to the car.
All my babies are out the house now.
Carlisle's POV:
The twins did not have a good first day of preschool. Not only did Rosalie cry for me in the middle of the day but a another little girl hit her and she scratched her back.
Jasper had a little sharing issue which ended up turning into a small fight. I just can't today.
I got off of work early to pick them up early. New Generations is very strict about fighting so Rosalie and the other girl have to leave early.
Jasper is already finished with school so I picked him up early. He ran to me smiling like I don't know what happened today.
"Daddy!" He said as I crouched down to his level
"Hey buddy. Did you say sorry to the kid to hit?"
"Yeah" Jasper said
"I'm disappointed in you Jasper you shouldn't have done that" I said as I took his hand
"But he hit me first"
"Than you go to the teacher. Your sister is in trouble too, you two aren't going to get ice cream with your friends you're going home to take a nap after timeout" I said sternly
"But I don't want to!" Jasper cried as I buckled him into his seat
"Well you can't fight buddy" I said as I got into the driver's seat before heading to Rosalie's school to get her.
Rosalie and the other girl are already outside waiting with the teacher, I'm a little confused because Rosalie's playing with this other girl not fighting with her.
"Thank you for coming to pick her up Mr. Cullen"
"I'm sorry but I don't see what the problem is. They're three years old they shouldn't have to go home early" I said
"Well that's the rules Mr. Cullen if something like this happens again she'll be suspended"
I said nothing and took Rosalie hand.
"Rosalie you should know better than to scratch people. You go to the teacher"
"But she hit me" Rosalie whined as I buckled her into her car seat
"And you don't scratch because of that" I said
I drove the twins home. "Both of you go straight to a corner" I said
"But we already said sorry" Rosalie said frowning up at me "I'm not going to timeout"
"Are you talking back to me little girl?" I asked as I crouched down to her level "Go to the corner now"
"Nooooo!" Rosalie screamed in my face
I grabbed her arm gently pulling her forward and swatted her six times before walking her to the corner "You're sitting here for not listening to Daddy and scratching at school" I said over her crying before turning to Jasper, walking him to the corner and spanking him three times. Rosalie got more because she didn't listen to me.
I sat on the couch and set the timer for five minutes for both of them.
"Both of you come here" I said when the timer dinged
They both turned around and stood in front of me, Jasper still looks sad and tired and Rosalie has a pout on her face and she's still crying.
"You both know better then to hit and scratch, and Rosalie you don't raise your voice at me" I said "What do you say?"
"Sorry" they said
"Okay now go upstairs and take a nap" I said
Jasper reached his arms up to be held and I picked him up before bending down to get Rosalie. Rosalie pushed my arm away.
"No I don't want you I want my other Daddy!" Rosalie cried before running upstairs
I settled Jasper in bed with his dragon before going to check on Rosalie, she's fast asleep, all her crying tired her out.
Esme's POV:
"Did you have fun at school?" I asked Edward as we drove home after our ice cream treat with everyone.
"I guess, it's not fun though" he said
"Well it is school honey. Don't you want to do something big when you grow up like a Mommy and Daddy? Mommy and Daddy had to go to school for a long time, especially Daddy"
"But for music I don't need math and science" Edward said
"Maybe but you still need to graduate high school at least" I said as I pulled into our driveway
"Edward!" Jasper said as he ran to hug his brother when we entered the house
"Hi buddy" I said as I bent down to kiss his forehead "Where's your sister?"
"Some where, she's not talking to Daddy because he spanked her" Jasper said
"Oh really? I said as I picked him up "Do you and Alice have fun in school?"
"Yeah" Jasper said "Edward lets go play video games"
"Ah ah ah Edward Anthony you know you're not allowed to play video games until you finish your homework" I said
"It's not fair that they always get to play" Edward grumbled before going upstairs
"Jasper why don't you go get a book and I'll read it to you and Rosalie" I said
"Okay" Jasper said before running upstairs after I put him down
I stopped by Carlisle's office to say hi to him. "I hear your baby girl is upset with you" I said before kissing him
"She's very upset just because I spanked her" he said "I don't think she should see James tomorrow. If she says something he might be able to request that Rosalie spends time with Victoria"
"She already does spend time with Victoria. Honey don't be worried now you know how I felt when she wouldn't talk to me. She'll get over it. Maybe" I teased before kissing his cheek and going to Rosalie's room.
Rosalie's looking through some of her photos with Victoria in her little photo album but she put it down and ran to me when I entered her room.
"Hi baby! Why are you still in your uniform?" I asked as I picked her up and kissed her cheek "Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah" she said as she rubbed her eyes while I stood her up on her bed
I took off her clothes before dressing her in a two piece Disney princess pajama set. "Come on let's go read a book with your brother" I said as I adjusted her into my hip before taking her to Jasper's room.
