Esme's POV:
THE NEXT MORNING:
This morning is the day Rosalie's grandparents on James's side are taking her to visit James. Then tonight Carlisle is taking Edward to New York with Bella. He's very excited but he's also upset that Rosalie still isn't speaking to him.
"Don't roll your eyes at me" Carlisle said to Rosalie as he sat down at the table
"Honey talk to Daddy it hurts his feelings when you ignore him" I said
"He hurt my feelings too" Rosalie said as she ate her French toast. I put her hair up in a high ponytail today.
"Rose you were punished for disobeying me. I didn't punish you to be mean to you I did it because I love you"
"It's scary! I want my Babushka!" Rosalie cried before leaving the table and going downstairs
"I'll go talk to her" Edward said before getting their plates
"Be careful taking those downstairs" I said as ran my fingers through Jasper's hair "After school Mommy's taking you and Alice out okay?"
"Okay" Jasper said before leaning into my arms. I put him on my hip before putting the dishes in the sink. In the middle of the summer Carlisle and I hired a housekeeper, she comes every other day.
"Mommy I want to go feed the puppies" Rosalie said as she came upstairs
"Go ahead, Jasper go with her" I said as I put Jasper down
"Thank you for talking to your sister little man" I said to Edward as I took his and Rosalie's plates from him
"No problem Mommy" Edward said before going back downstairs
"Esme I really don't want her to see James today. She'll want to spend more time with him" Carlisle said
"Carlisle no she won't. She's afraid of him too, it'll be fine and she'll stop being mad at you soon she's just stubborn" I said before kissing him "I love you"
"Love you too" he said
James's POV
4PM:
I have to see Nicola behind the glass with a phone first so my lawyer and Esme's lawyer can see if she's still afraid of me.
I smiled when I saw my father with Nicola on his side. Nicola smiled at me and ran to the window as soon as my father put her down.
I pointed to the phone as she climbed into the chair.
"Hi Daddy!" Nicola said into the phone
"Hi princess!" I said in Russian "Look how big you already are. Are you in school now?"
"Yeah but I had to leave early for fighting. My Dad got mad at me"
"He did?" I asked
"Yeah I had to go to timeout, and he spanked me" she said
"Did he now? Did it hurt?" I asked
"Yeah so I'm not talking to him until later. I'll talk to you" she said
"You want to come see me? If you want to stay there it's okay I won't get mad at you"
"I want to see you" she said
The guards lead me to a door where I got to go to the sitting area. I picked up Nicola when she ran to me.
"You're so beautiful" I said before kissing her cheek "I miss you so much"
"I miss you too" she said "When will you come out?"
"Soon I promise. Do you see Mama?" I asked
"I talk to her on the phone and I see her sometimes" she said
So she can see Victoria all the time but not me and my family I thought That'll have to change
Esme's POV:
"I love letting them play like this because then Alice is out like a light at bedtime" Kate said as she down at a park bench with me
"I know with only the twins tonight it should be very easy" I said
"I'm going to miss Bella she's always been so easy" I said
"Well at least you get some one on one time with Alice"
"Esme if you haven't already noticed Alice is the biggest Daddy's girl in the world" Kate said "She'll probably cry tonight when she finds out he's not at the house"
"Mommy! I fell" Jasper whined as he showed me his bloody elbow. To my surprise he isn't crying
"Oh honey it's okay let me clean it" I said as I got my mini first aid kit from the back of the stroller
"I don't want the stringy one!" Jasper cried I wiped his elbow with a little alcohol wipe
"Shh its okay I just don't want you to get sick" I said as I got some Vaseline before giving him a band-aid as he cried
"Okay" I said as I lifted him onto my lap
"He's the cutest little Mama's boy" Kate said as she watched Jasper cuddle into my chest
"Oh thanks. I have to stop babying him though" I said as I rubbed Jasper's back
"Alice only lets Garret baby her"
"Mommy can I have my juice please?" Alice asked
"Yes you may" Kate said "I think it's time to go home and start dinner. I'm making mac and cheese"
"Yay!" Alice said as Kate buckled her into her stroller
I buckled Jasper into his stroller before walking us home. Carlisle already left with Edward but Rosalie should be home any minute.
"Where is everyone?" Jasper asked as we entered the house
"Edward went to New York for his birthday remember? Your sister will be here soon" I said as I unbuckled him "Go use the bathroom and then we can read"
"I don't wanna read I wanna watch tv" Jasper whined
"After we read you can watch tv" I said as I sent him upstairs
I got dressed in a comfortable pair of yoga pants and a t-shirt before reading Thomas the Tank Engine with Jasper.
"Can I watch tv now?" Jasper asked
"Yes you may but not too long buddy" I said as I kissed his forehead
I called Rosalie's grandmother when they didn't come home almost an hour after we got home.
"Nikolina? Where are you? Where's Rosalie?" I asked
"Rosalie is with us at the hotel. She's spending the night"
"Excuse me?"
