~ Writing a love letter that no one was supposed to read was one thing, but sending it to the wrong person too? What was the matter with her? ~

57) Delete

Aqua was so busy with typing something out on her laptop that she didn't even notice how a curious Stitch had been staring at her for quite some time now, his head tilted slightly to the side. In reality Aqua was typing out a long letter that contained all her feelings towards Terra, including frustration. Not that she had mentioned him anywhere by his name. She had mentioned his dark-brown hair and his blue eyes, though.

Obviously, Aqua never had the intention to send this to Terra. But it was nice to have her feelings sorted out like that. It might help her to clear her head too, because by the way things were going between her, Terra and Vanitas, she could use some order in her life again. When her work was done, she would decide whether she would send the letter to herself or delete it.

"Aaand done," she murmured, as she typed out the last few words.

Of course, that was when her laptop decided to betray her and freeze on the spot. She clicked on different icons a few times, but nothing seemed to be working.

"Just great."

She decided to wait for a few minutes and see what would happen. Soon enough, the program starting working again. Aqua, however, had found a new reason to become as pale as a blanket; she had accidentally sent the letter to one of her contacts. Her eyes widened when she saw that it was sent to her tutor and friend Leon.

"Oh no..."

Writing a love letter that no one was supposed to read was one thing, but sending it to the wrong person too? What was the matter with her?

Why in the world did she decide to write this letter as an email in the first place? Why didn't she delete it right after she was done?

And she was supposed to meet up with him in a few minutes too! Oh, the horror...

Good job, Aqua, really. You've earned a pet on the back for that move. You really know how to embarrass yourself like no other. And there goes what little dignity I had left, flying out of the window…

"This is the last time I'm writing a diary, online or not."

Meeting Leon was awkward.

"I am going to assume that you've read the email I sent you?" she started carefully.

"Yes, I have. I'd like to know what that was all about."

Aqua blushed at that. "I-it was a mistake. That letter wasn't about you, despite the details. It was never my intention to send it anyway, but my laptop froze."

Something in Leon's eyes seemed to change, but he merely nodded and said that he understood.

Today, he only watched her, barely correcting any of the mistakes she made and being very distant overall. Aqua couldn't help but wonder if it had anything to do with the letter or if there was something else going on that he wasn't telling her, but she didn't dare to ask him after she'd made a total fool out of herself.

A/N: Next chapter: "Don't give me that utter crap, I know what you were looking for."
