Irina's POV:

"Okay Rosalie, Mommy's all done cleaning the house" I said as I picked her up.

Miss Maggie from Fork Pre-School emailed all the parents that there was a flood in the school and they had to close for two days, so Rosalie is staying with me today and tomorrow because I took a week off of work. My sisters should be here soon.

I checked the clock it's 11:20PM, my sisters should be here around 12:45 for lunch'.

Bella should be home by 3:00 and Alice is coming home at 4:30 because she has cheer practice.

"Okay your going to take a nap, and then Mommy's gonna make lunch for us and your aunties okay?" I said. She nodded and I kissed her head as I took her upstairs to her crib.

One hour later:

Ding Dong!

"They're early!" I said as I wiped my hands on my apron. I put my apron on the counter and then opened the door.

"Hey baby sis" My sister Tanya said as she wrapped me in a big hug.

"Where's Toby and Rain?" I asked her referring to my thirteen year-old nephew and twelve year old niece.

"Toby has mandatory basketball practice and violin lessons. Rain has a gymnastics meet coming up and I didn't want to take her out of practice. She has cello lessons too" Tanya said

Kate crossed her arms "Am I invisible? You have two bi-"

I interrupted her with a hug "I have two big sisters not one, I know Kate"

She smirked "And before you ask, I didn't bring the twins because they are preparing for their dance showcase next week!"

"Showcase? They're eight!" I said as my sisters put their coats the hooks.

"Yes but I want them to go to Maxciena, the best dance school in California and it will open a lot of opportunities for them like commercials and modeling. Maybe even movies!"

"What type of dance do they do again?" I asked

"Garret Junior started ballet when he was five and Gavin started doing hip hop when he was four" Kate said proudly.

"What does Garret think about that? When you were pregnant all he talked about was how much fun it would be to teach his boys football!" I asked as we sat down at the kitchen table.

"He has mixed feelings and first he was totally against it but after he saw how happy the boys were his mind changed. I can tell he gets upset when he goes to Toby's football games or when Tanya and Cauis show us Toby's trophies" Kate said sadly

"The boys don't have any interest in sports?" I asked. Kate shook her her head.

"So how are your girls? Kate asked

"Well Alice made the cheerleading all those gymnastics classes boosted her up, Bella may start piano lessons soon and Rose is going to Pre-School now"

Sometimes I feel embarrassed that I don't have my kids doing all these activities like my sisters kids. There is like nothing in Forks, I want to move to California but every time I bring it up to Charlie he gets mad saying that I'm selfish to want him to go back to California where he has so many horrible memories. It's just not fair to me, I want the best for my children. I want to get a better job and be a doctor like Tanya or a architect like Kate, I want Alice to go to gymnastics with Rain, I want Bella to take piano lessons with one of the best teachers in California and I want to put Rosalie in dance or modeling.

They nodded "Are they all at school now?"

"No Rose is upstairs taking her nap, there was a flood at the pre-school so it's closed for two days"

Tanya's smile dropped "A flood? Honey I understand what Charlie was going through but why did you move to this crummy town? No offense but it sucks and we miss you" she said and put her hand in mine.

"Charlie doesn't want to move" I said

"Maybe we can talk to him" Kate said

"No! We just got the girls settled with school"

"Why don't you come to the showcase? You can stay with us we have room and then Charlie will see how nice it is back in Cali?"

I nodded "I'll take to Charlie"

Tanya was about to say something but whimpers from upstairs interrupted us.

"Mommy...Mommy...I want you"

"I'll be right back, help yourself to the soup on the stove and there's bread in the oven" I said as I went upstairs.

"Hi baby" I said to my daughter as she reached out for me. I picked her up and kissed her cheek.

I put Rosalie's hair in a ponytail and put a dress on her before I took her downstairs.

Tanya's POV:

Kate and I were enjoying Irina's beef and broccoli soup, but we both dropped our spoons when we noticed the huge bruise on Rose's cheek. I turned to Kate.

"Do you see that?" I whispered "Who wouldn't see that big ass bruise?" She said

"Go say hi" Irina said as she put Rosalie down. Rose ran over to me and I put her on my lap.

"Hi sweetie, do you remember me?" I asked. She nodded

"You look just like your mommy" Kate said

I brushed my finger on her bruise cheek softly "Honey what happened to your cheek?"

She didn't answer me she just laid her head on my shoulder. I rubbed her back and looked at Irina confused.

"She's still a little tired" Irina said

"What the hell happened to her cheek! I know she didn't fall with a bruise like that!" Kate yelled

Rose started crying. Irina came over to me to get her but I stopped her.

"It's okay, I'll take her outside to calm down"

Irina's POV:

I waited for Tanya to leave with Rosalie until I spoke.

"Kate what is wrong with you? You scared her!"

"I'm sorry for that but that really reminds me of the last time we were here and Bella had that horrible rash on her arm and Alice broke her leg"

"She had an allergic reaction!" I yelled "And Alice got hurt doing a cartwheel"

"Really because Tanya said that that rash was clearly inflicted on Bella by someone or something but she let it go because Bella was only four she thought maybe she fell on your carpet. We don't believe you about Alice's injury either"

"You two were discussing my children behind my back? What the hell Kate! Your my sisters!"

"And were worried about you and Charlie being young parents but Irina I have to ask, are you and Charlie deliberately hurting your children?"

Tears rolled down my cheeks. "I'm not" I whispered

"What?" Kate said

"NO WERE NOT! ROSE SLIPPED ON THE FUCKING STEPS CHASING BELLA! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!" I screamed

"Irina calm down. I'm sorry okay? Were sorry"

"No your not!" I sobbed and ran upstairs

Kate POV:

Tanya came inside with a calmed down Rosalie on her hip.

"What happened? I almost had to take her up the block because of the screaming. You two have been arguing like that since we were young but she's never gotten that loud. What did you say?"

I wiped the tears from my eyes quickly because I didn't want to upset Rosalie.

"I told her about what we talked about that day when Bella and Alice were injured and she got upset when I..."

"Oh my gosh Kate what did you say to her?"

"I asked her if they were hurting the girls" I whispered

"Oh no. Is she crying now?" She asked

I nodded

"But Kate there's something I want to show you" Tanya said and came towards me with Rosalie.

She put Rosalie's head on her shoulder and held her necklace out to distract Rosalie.

As Rosalie started playing with the necklace Tanya lifted Rosalie's dress over her knee.

I put my hand over my mouth in shock. She had so many little red cuts on her tiny knees.

"It's the same on her other knee and get this. These type of cuts and burns were most likely caused from salt"

"Salt? Like what Mom and Dad used to do to us?"
Tanya nodded.

"It's time for an intervention" Tanya said
