Chapter 5: Shadow Legendary, Part 1
It was a quiet day at first. Ryo was busy checking inventory, Jasmine had cleaned the dried blood that had gotten on the stiletto heel of her right shoe when she superkicked Folly, and Anise was using her Psychic powers to monitor Cipher's activities without being detected. That's when the sixteen-year-old girl detected a situation in the Relic Forest.
"Guys, we got trouble. Cipher's after something in the Relic Forest. If it involves the Stone in there we have to stop them." Anise quickly told her allies.
"Let's roll." was Ryo's response. The three of them quickly proceeded to enter the Relic Forest, hoping to stop Cipher's latest plot. Before they entered, though, Anise stopped them, then tapped into a mysterious energy that ended up giving her a first-person view from the eyes of a female Cipher peon on a ledge about a third of the way through the cave linking the Relic Forest with Agate Village.
"Anise, what the quack were you doing?" Jasmine asked her.
"Tapped into a mysterious 'Bond Energy' to try and see where the nearest person eligible for joining that advanced multiple Soul Bond centered around Jet, and i found one just inside that cave about a third of the way in. I hope she realizes someone's behind her, though, cause with her heels it might not end well if she hits the ground." And with that, the trio entered. Sure enough, someone about a third of the way in was pushed from behind, only for a fast-thinking Anise to catch her out of the air. The redhead then looked at the girl's outfit; it was a generic pink-and-purple female Cipher Peon uniform, but the thigh high boots had a very high heel of about six and a half inches (they weren't too extreme in part thanks to the two inch platform).
"Hey Stacy." Anise said to the female in her arms.
"Thanks for the catch, Anise. And i see you decided to embrace your feminine side, 'cause a little over two years ago you didn't have eyeshadow."
"Yeah, though the fact that i joined XQ inbetween then and now might've played a part."
"I take it you got the Bond activated."
"Sure did. Sex-activated trigger, no timing requirement so i can undergo this mission without worrying about a pregnancy, and set up due to a flirt from Jet countering one of my own while i used Full-Power Super Saiyan as part of a disguise causing me to soak my panties. First time, with Jet keeping his pace at a level to get me used to it - his cousin Dawn was raped prior to then, but Rochelle and eight girls from Jet's home dimension gained XQ agent status when they teamed to save her - and i had heels on, as it's something Jet's intending to make a requirement for any girl in the Bond to have sex with him. As for the rescue of Dawn from her rape, only a newly-ascended Super Saiyan Rochelle actually went to save her, the others used the Dragon Fist to give her an escape route for after she located the now-eleven-year-old."
"Oh. Man, did i get lucky my GX counterpart isn't one of his siblings; i thought for sure i'd end up with Hollie."
"Who'd ya get, then?"
"I think i ended up with some 'Morgan' girl. Not Jet's year, though, i tried counterpart connection during his year's graduation and wound up nowhere even close to the event's location."
"That's 'cause i was the year behind him, Stace." a new voice said, originating from a blonde female whose outfit notably included a pair of black Nike flip-flops. "Personally, it's a good thing you're the Bond girl and not me if i heard the part about wearing heels during intimate activity correctly, ever since you became old enough you always wore heels with a preference for platforms while i'd rather stick to my flip-flops."
"You heard it correctly." Anise spoke up, confusing the unknown blonde.
"Who's the beauty?" she asked.
"Anise Azeat, the primary Alpha of the Bond in question."
"You do know that by catching her out of the air after that male Dark Vector agent i tagged with the Stardust Breaker you accelerated her Bond activation timer."
"What'd i drop it to?" Anise asked.
"Five seconds. Wierdest part, she was originally three years out."
"I think that'd probably be due to the fact we've worked together before. September 9, 2008. Dealt with an Imperius-controlled girl who had kidnapped Kara Izayoi, my teammate Natsume's older sister; after i wrecked her left knee with a wicked kick Stacy destroyed the Dark Vector-designed amulet from which the curse was emitting. Whoever designed it - i now have the codename 'D60' - used it to create amulets with force barriers that, fortunately for us, can't resist an electric current entering elsewhere."
"Obviously Doven didn't anticipate that possibility when implementing the force barriers." Stacy stated.
"I had a feeling D60 WAS Doven; i originally got the codename from Peach my previous mission - Ryo here heard of the final battle and contacted me, which is partly why i'm here now - shortly after Alpha of Team Vexus revealed she's been under the Imperius Curse by Doven before, the reason i have my current power level. Alpha, though, is just her codename, her real name's Nella Jay."
"Oh, good, 'cause the girl who kidnapped Kara under the Imperius Curse is her GD variant Nicole Morneau. Turns out Stacy's Bond isn't the only one that can be accelerated; Nicole and a Cipher girl currently with Kara by the name of Desiree Williams Bonding - Doven must've missed it - can accelerate Nella's own." the unknown blonde said, revealing a piece of crucial information.
"What if the Dark Vector agent hears?" Stacy asked.
"He can't. Already dead by Stardust Breaker."
"Stacy," Anise started, "stick with my group for now. Once i locate Kara i'll send you and her to XQ Side DImension 989, then once you're there i'll have Jet go there first opportunity while contacting Natsume on Kara being there."
"Okay." Stacy said, then the group walked into the shrine area, where X and Eagun were shown battling a fourth Peon, Skrub, who had lost three of his four Pokemon (his Shadow Hitmontop was all that was still active). Jasmine readied a Snag Ball and threw it, successfully nabbing the Fighting-type.
"Hey, where's the rest of my force?" Skrub asked once he realized what had happened.
"I think they had a Dark Vector agent knock them out; Stacy here, who i've worked with before in my home dimension, was the only one who wasn't knocked out by the time my group entered the tunnel leading here." Anise answered. "She'll stick with me until i locate my teammate's older sister, who happens to be in this dimension, before she and said other girl warp out."
"I'm guessing the 'older sister' is Kara Izayoi." Skrub guessed, earning a nod from both Anise and Stacy in response. "The Boss specifically said both her and Stacy were given more extreme-heeled thigh boots, Stacy's with a platform, as the indicator that they aren't members of Cipher despite wearing the team uniform. If you want to locate her, enter the Under in about three hours." At this, Skrub left.
"What is this thing?" Jasmine asked her grandpa once the Cipher Peon was gone.
"This is the Relic Stone. It's said to have the powers of the Legendary Pokemon Celebi. Those Pokemon like the Hitmontop you nabbed off of that Cipher dork can revert to normal here once the opportunity presents itself." Eagun said. The three trainers then proceeded to purify the Shadow Pokemon ready for it, succeeding with nine of them. Then Ryo noticed Anise was thinking about something.
"What is it you're thinking about, Anise?" he asked.
"You know, the Relic Stone's name reminds me of my home dimension."
"Huh?"
"Easy, Ryo. In my homeworld my main method of transportation is a special craft called an Emblem Frame. Most of the time i pilot the craft in some kind of space battle, but there's been a few times i took the controls for something else."
"Well, why does the Relic Stone remind you of that?"
"That's because my Emblem Frame goes by the codename Relic Raider. It's a wine red color, just like most of my hair, and it can also decimate an entire fleet with enough power on the Nova Wrecker i recently installed. Switched it in for a more long-range attack because my old super weapon required me to cross enemy lines for it to work."
"Whoa."
"Uh, guys, we got a problem. Mt. Battle's under attack. Cipher's at it again." Jasmine suddenly piped in. When they got there after plowing through the first nine zones they found Dakim, a hulking redheaded Cipher admin confronting Vander. That would be the trigger for X to begin a battle with the musclebound villain. This battle was over fast, as X knocked out all but the Shadow Entei, which was nabbed by Ryo on his seventh try. The group would return to Pyrite and then enter the Under after sidestepping Kai.
