Charlie's POV

We had a lot of shit that needed to be done before we could even think about going off to try to get Jasper and Peter back. That's what I hated most, the fucking waiting. Seems that I've been hanging around Peter, Jasper and Emmett too much. I've picked up their language.

Char had to try to get in touch with a couple of friends that keep an eye on Maria. Seems that Peter and Char helped the coven of three when they were faced with some of Maria's soldiers. They were able to kill them as they had been sent to either recruit the vampires into her fucking army or be killed. Agreeing to watch Maria for them was the payment for helping.

Maria had wanted one of the vampires as she had found out that one of them could cause everyone around to not see her. If one was touching her then they too couldn't be seen. She desperately wanted her and so she sent her best soldiers to grab her coven members. Unfortunately for Maria; Peter and Char just happened to show up shortly before the soldiers did. They had gone back again to try to get the Major to go with them.

In exchange for their help Serena promised to keep an eye on Maria. It would be good to know where the bitch was at all times. When Jasper finally did escape, Peter and Char both went and spoke with Serena and asked that she keep them informed of Maria's whereabouts, etc.

Turns out it was harder after that as Serena and her coven decided to move further away since the Major had left. She did go at least once a week to check on her, although there was no need to report back to Peter unless there was trouble. She had called at least once when she knew that Maria wouldn't rest until the Major was back.

Char called and talked to Serena and she promised to go and check out the compound and get back to her as soon as she knew something. There wasn't really any need for her to see Jasper or Peter, we just wanted to make sure that she was in the same place and yet make sure that she did have them.

We would also need transportation. Our group was large and a couple of the people weren't coping too well with the fact that their mates were in the hands of a very cruel and vindictive female vampire. So it seems that everyone wants to go and help get the guys back.

Lillian felt that she owed it to Jasper to try to help. He had saved her life and killed the ones who had violated her body. She was grateful that he had gotten there in time to stop them from raping her. She still had times when she hated that she had become a vampire, but that was becoming less as she spent time with her mate.

She along with Rose, Esme and even Alice spent a lot of time with Bella and Char. I myself also would try to help both of them, but of course there was no consoling them, their mates were gone and possibly badly injured and being tortured if not already dead. When I looked into my baby girl's eyes, I saw nothing at times and other times nothing but pure rage.

We had a few times where we had to almost fight them to keep them from running off. We needed a plan because of the fact that while we had gifts, Maria had numbers. My gift was only useful against the gifts of others. It couldn't stop physical attacks. Since it was Jasper and Peter that had been taken, the planning came down to me with Char's help and her friend's as well.

It was two days before Serena finally got back to Char and she told her to have someone else talk to her. She wanted us to know what she had found, but didn't want to have to tell Char herself. I guess that she knew Char and knew she would end up dead because she would try to go to Peter herself.

After promising that I would tell her what was going on I left so that I could talk with Serena privately. I did take Emmett to listen in as he knew Jasper better than I did. I knew that he would understand what Jasper might want us to do. The only thing I knew without a doubt was he would kill anyone who put his mate in danger.

"Ok Serena its just me and a friend of the Major's. What's going on? I'm going to assume that because you asked to speak with someone else that its not good news. Just tell us what you know."

"You're right. Its not good and I knew that Char would lose it and end up killing herself and probably Peter too by rushing in herself. Obviously my gift comes in handy at checking things out. So not only is her camp still at the same location, Char knows where, but I was able to go in and find out where Peter and the Major are.

Actually anyone can see Peter as he's outside of a building. His arms and legs are missing and I watched in horror as they ripped his head off and then reattached it. He's naked and the others are allowed to do whatever they want to him as long as they don't burn any parts. They beat him until his bones are broken and then wait only long enough for him to heal. They give him a small amount of blood to help with the healing, but he's being starved. The females are trying to get his cock hard, but have no success on that. Obviously he's in too much pain from the torture as well as being separated from Char.

The Major isn't doing much better. I was able to get into Maria's room where he is being kept. He was in the same condition as Peter except that he has Maria doing the torture. Since she apparently can't get him aroused she brings in other males and a couple of humans and then they have sex and bath in the blood or just spread some of it around, but either way the Major is being starved and has to smell it.

I was able to talk to him for a minute. I told him help was on the way and that he just needed to hold on. His only concern is that he doesn't want Maria to find out about Bella. He begged me to keep her away from Maria. Then he told me to tell you not to come after him. Maria will get bored and kill him eventually. He doesn't want Bella anywhere near the camp.

I wasn't going to get any more involved, until I saw and heard the Major talk about Bella. She must be his mate because even in the horrible pain he's in he speaks of her with so much love in his voice. Maria has been giving him more scars, as she bites him several times a day. I want that bitch to pay. Its time someone put a stop to her cruelty. Now I have a plan and it should work, but I need to do some ground work first. Do you want to hear it?"

I told her to wait and let me get back to the others. I would let Bella and Char know about some of the conditions of their mates, but I wanted the whole family to hear the plan at the same time. This way questions and concerns could be brought up and maybe even fine tune the plan.

I got back to the house and of course was bombarded by Char and Bella with wanting news of Jasper and Peter. I promised them an update after hearing Serena's plan. Everyone was there and we were impressed with this plan. It would work and while it wouldn't really need to be refined, our work would be cut out for us in trying to keep Bella and Char from just taking off once they knew of their mates situation.

We knew that one day we might have to fight and fortunately for us we had the best of the best trainers. If the plan worked though we should be able to get the guys out, put back together and healed before we would fight, but one thing was certain, Maria had to die. And I have no doubt that it would be Bella to do it. She wouldn't be able to rest until the bitch was dead by her hand.

Since I was mated to Alice I understood a mate's need to destroy that which hurts their mate. I found myself losing it when I thought of what if it was Alice that had been taken. The ones left here were sticking closer to their mates which I knew made Bella feel better and yet made the pain even worse for her. She was glad that none of the others besides Char had to go through the kind of pain they were in.

We hung up after figuring out a meeting place. We would meet in Texas, Galveston to be exact and then travel on a small boat big enough to carry all of us and fast enough to not slow us down. We would come in from the Mexican side, although she is actually just inside of Mexico, but still on the border of Texas. Once there Serena would go and contact the ones she knew would help us.

I asked for everyone to stay while I had the hardest job of telling my baby girl and our friend Char about their mates. I needed to be honest with both of them, but I also needed for them to keep a calm head which I already knew would be almost impossible. I had Emmett wrap his arms around Bella so that her arms were pinned to her sides while I did the same to Char.

As soon as they heard the states that their mates were in we had to fight them for several hours. We were finally able to get them calmed down enough to tell them that the safest way to get them back in one piece was to go with the plan. They would get their chances to pay back the ones who were hurting their mates. I could only hope that Serena would be successful in her part of the plan which was basically get one of Maria's enemies to cause trouble enough so that Maria herself would need to go and take care of it.

We were finally able to get to Galveston and meet Serena. She was beautiful and her coven members were also willing to help. They knew of a way to get the enemy of Maria to cause enough trouble for her to come and take care of it herself. If they didn't want to do it willingly then the Major might just come after them himself along with Peter for not helping. She said that they were terrified of the Major and Peter together.

They had had the privilege, if you want to call it that, of seeing those two in action and had left Maria alone and stayed out of her way. There was no way they wanted to go against him or Peter. They would help just because they would be helping the Major.

It took us two whole days to finally get to where we were close enough to the camp to be closer to our goal, but still far enough away to not be detected by any of her soldiers. The girls were eerily calm and yet they were antsy and couldn't sit still.

At one point first Char and then Bella both broke down and I held them while they cried tearless sobs. It just made myself and the rest of the family even more determined to get this show on the road.

That was the last time that they showed any weakness. They girded up their loins as they used to say and spent the short time we had to wait to hear back from Serena looking out the window that faced the direction their mates were in. Even I could feel their rage and determination building up. If Maria had had any decency in her at all I might have felt sorry for what she would be facing when she met my daughter.

Serena came back with good news. The army was willing to stir up some trouble in Maria's territory and knew that just that particular army stirring up trouble would be enough to make her go herself to find out what the trouble was.

Bella and Char would go as close as they could with Serena. I would go, as well as Emmett, to help with anything like getting limbs and helping them to reattach. At the place where we would wait we would be able to see when Maria left taking most of her army with her. She would need to since she didn't know if she would have to fight or not.

Unfortunately since we didn't want to fight until the guys were healed we would have to go with Serena one at a time. Char said that Jasper needed to be rescued first although it hurt her deeply. The girls almost got into a fight until I told them that since Jasper was in Maria's rooms that it might be safer to get him out first. Also if we got Peter first then the ones left behind might just sound the alarm and we could have trouble getting Jasper out after that.

Serena, Bella and I both left to go get Jasper. We had watched as the alarm was sent out and Maria left with all but five of her soldiers. We had to touch her in order to not be seen. Unfortunately Maria had told a female that she could "play" with the Major while she was gone. She didn't want him to be left alone.

We went straight to the house that we knew Jasper was in and got inside quickly. The female had brought in a human female, stripped her and then cut her so she would bleed all over Jasper. The female was then licking the blood off of his body. Bella's rage filled eyes were the last thing the bitch ever saw.

She had her ripped into pieces before she could even register that there was someone else in the room. Jasper was in really bad shape. He was so weak from hunger that he couldn't really talk, but he knew we were there. He sent his fear to me and I understood that it was for his mate. He was terrified that Maria might find her. He wasn't worried about himself, just Bella.

I found his limbs on some shelves and got them down. He would have to feed and of course there were humans here just for that. We had planned on killing everyone here and burning the whole fucking camp. Any humans here would have to be killed. If they were left alive after being exposed to vampires we would be destroyed for allowing them to live. I was going to try to turn some of them if I could.

I sent Serena to go and collect a couple of males for Jasper to feed from. Bella had him cradled in her lap and wasn't going to let go. I quickly got his arms lined up and started the process of getting them to reattach. His legs were next, but the process was going real slow.

Serena came back with two males and Bella grabbed one, broke his neck and then fixed it so that Jasper could feed. He drained the first one quickly and so I got the second one, broke his neck and handed him to Jasper. His strength was coming back quickly. So was his anger at Maria.

I told him what was going on and then I heard the first real argument between him and Bella. He kept trying to get her to go back to the others while he found Maria and killed her. She refused telling him that Maria was hers to kill for what she had done to him. Neither was wanting to let go of the other though.

Serena had already gone to take Char to Peter. We knew that we probably had an hour at least before Maria would be back and we needed our guys to be ready. We had seen Peter on the way to Maria's rooms and for now he had his head on at least. I think he sensed us there with his gift as he looked right at us, but said nothing.

They started to argue again and I was about to remind them that they both were alive and together right now and this wasn't the time, but was cut off by a ear piercing scream and all hell breaking lose. . .

A/N Please let me know what you think just happened. I'm letting you know that this story probably only has about two or three chapters at the most left. I will do my best to get it finished but please be patient with me. My husband has just been diagnosed with cancer. We go on Monday for tests to find out if it has spread. A part of me wants to just not finish but I can't do that to you guys so I'll try to get the chapters done but RL has priority right now.
