A/N: I think that my ultimate goal for this story is to reach the 82,000 word count (and with all the blabbering that I do in the A/Ns, that shouldn't be a problem at all XD ). Oh, and be forewarned, because this chapter has some action going on. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter for all the awkwardness that it has! :D

Thanks: and :)

~ "I understand," she said, even though she didn't, at all. He'd gotten enough time, hadn't he? So why wasn't he falling in love with her already? ~

68) Undo

Kairi felt as though she was seeing her Terra less and less. That was why the redhead had come up with something that would make him stay permanently. It made sense, right? Maybe if she showed him a bit more love, it would make him remember his love for her again.

She gave herself a onceover in the bedroom mirror. Honestly, she hadn't felt this confident in a while. This chocolate brown dress fit so snuggly around her form, emphasizing al the right curves. Terra probably wouldn't want to waste any time to take it off her. This would undo all the uncertainty and doubts. That 700 Munny was more than worth spending on it.

As if on cue, Terra entered the bedroom, looking more exhausted than ever. However, upon seeing Kairi wearing a short dress that didn't leave much to the imagination, the brunet man forgot for a moment how to act like a normal human being.

As soon as he recovered, however, he grunted a, "Hi."

"Hey there," she said with a seductive smile. "Had a rough day at work?"

"Yeah… you could say that."

He tried not to look at her while he silently walked towards the end of the kingsized bed and sat down. Kairi followed suit and sat down next to him, barely leaving any space between them. The bed sagged a little under their joined weight. Still, the brunet man didn't dare to look up at her in case he would lose control about his emotions again.

Sure, Kairi was a beautiful woman, but the truth was that she had nothing on Aqua. He didn't want all of this.

"You know," Kairi continued, her hands squeezing his shoulders, "You always used to ask me for a massage whenever you had a bad day."

His throat was far too dry for this.

"…That so?"

Kairi slowly started unbuttoning his shirt. She was sitting close enough to him to kiss him. With that thought in mind, the redhead tilted her head, ready to do so. What she didn't expect, however, was for him to pull away before their lips even touched.

"I'm sorry. I-I can't do this. I need more time."

Kairi retracted automatically, even though she didn't have to; Terra had gotten up from his place. It looked as though he wanted to be as far away as possible from her.

"I understand," she said, even though she didn't, at all. He'd gotten enough time, hadn't he? So why wasn't he falling in love with her already?

How much longer did she have to wait for that to happen?

She got up as well and quickly left the room so that Terra wouldn't see her cry. She felt even more hurt than that time in the hospital when he hadn't recognized her.

The first hot tears spilled over her silky dress, but she paid no attention to that. Without a second thought the red-haired beauty dialed Aqua's number. After all, those two had been friends for ages, so if anyone knew what was wrong with Terra, then it was her…as much as Kairi hated to admit that.

Much to her chagrin, Aqua told her the same as Terra had tried to before, "You shouldn't worry too much. He probably just needs more time, because it's not that trivial to lose your memory. He's scared and unsure of every decision he's made so far, so please don't take it at heart."

Blah blah blah… If Kairi didn't know any better, she would say that the two had practiced this conversation.

Little did she know that Aqua had not told her about Terra's plan to end his relationship with his fiancée because he was no longer attracted to her. It wasn't up to her to tell her, anyway.

A/N: Next chapter: Terra found himself using more and more lies against Kairi's curiousness, especially when she asked him where he'd been and the actual answer was "At Aqua's."
