Rosalie's POV:
Nightmare:
Mommy screamed as Daddy pulled the knife out her chest.
"Mommy!" Bella and I cried
Daddy turned to us. An evil smile came to his face as he walked over to us.
Daddy pushed Bella to the floor and then grabbed my wrist together with his hand.
He used the other to slice the knife through both my wrist. I screamed as he threw me on top of Mommy, grabbed Bella, and left through the window.
End of Nightmare
I screamed and cried as I sat up in my hospital bed. "Mommy!" I screamed
Nurse Victoria picked me up and held me to her. "Shhh sweetie it's okay. You're okay" she said
"Mommy! He killed my mommy!" I cried
"Shhh" Nurse Victoria told the policeman to leave and she laid me down on the bed.
She sat down next to me "Your sisters are coming to see you today!" she said
I wiped my eyes "Really?"
"Yes and your friend is coming too!" She said and ran her fingers through my hair.
When I calmed down she sat down in her chair in front of my bed and pulled my covers down.
Nurse Victoria's POV:
After I changed Rosalie's diaper, I threw the soiled one away and I went to the cabinets to get everything I needed to clean her wounds and change her bandages. She absolutely hated when I did this but it's my job. I change her, give her her treatment every three hours, give her meals, and clean her wounds. I also stay with her when Nurse Leah isn't with her.
No one should ever have to go through what this toddler did. It's so sad. I put the supplies on the bed and sat down in my chair.
"Sweetie I know you hate this but I have to clean your boo boos" I said
She shook her head "No it hurts!" she cried
"Sweetie if I don't clean your wrist your going to get an infection" I said and reached for her wrist
She pulled away from me "No!" she yelled
"Do I need to call Nurse Leah in here to hold you down again? Or are you going to be a big girl?" I asked
"No!" Rosalie cried and as I took her wrist. She fought against me.
"That's it! I'm getting Nurse Leah!" I said and got up
As soon as I put my hand on the door knob Rosalie stopped me
"Fine! I'll be still!" Rose cried. I knew she didn't want a repeat of yesterday.
I sat back in my chair and took Rosalie's wrist. I grabbed my medical scissors and cut her bandage.
I grabbed the cleaning alcohol wipe. "Take deep breathes Rosalie" I said as I began to clean her wrist.
She screamed and started crying. "Ow! You're mean! I want my Mommy!"
I sighed and continued.
I put Rosalie's chin in my hands before I moved on to her left wrist.
"Sweetie your going to have an asthma attack if you keep it up. Take a deep breathe" I said
When she calmed down a bit I moved on to the other wrist and she cried even more.
I bandaged it and picked her up. "All done" I said and laid her head on my shoulder.
Grandma's POV:
I held Bella to my chest as she cried it out. She had another nightmare.
I patted her back and wrapped her blanket around her when she stopped crying.
"There there Bella it's okay. Here let's have some breakfast Grandma will make you some french toast" I said as I carried her downstairs
"I wanna go home" Bella sniffed
"I know you do honey, your auntie is doing her best-"
"No I wanna go back to Auntie Tanya" She cried
Alice's POV:
I was very surprised to see Bella in the car when Aunt Tanya picked Rain and I up from the gym.
I sat in the middle between Rain and Bella.
She laid her head on my shoulder. "Bella are you okay?" I asked
"I'm okay. I had a nightmare and I wanted to come home" She said
I kissed her forehead "It's okay"
"Esme and Emmett are meeting us at the hospital" Aunt Tanya said
"Were not all going in at once right?" I asked
"No no I think it's three or four people at a time" she said
Esme's POV:
All of us have been in the waiting room for almost two hours now. Kate stood up when Rosalie's nurse came back.
I brought Emmett. Carlisle was at home with Edward and Jasper.
"What is taking so long? We've been here for hours, I would like to see my niece!" She yelled
"Are you Tanya or Kate" The nurse asked "Kate"
"Your niece had some blood work done and she had an asthma attack. When she's done with her second treatment she can have visitors" The nurse said
"And for Rosalie's sake may I ask that friends go in first?" She asked
"Why?" Alice asked
"Because were afraid she will get very emotional and when she cries she starts wheezing. She also said she wanted to see Emmett"
Another nurse came to us. "She's ready"
I stood up with Emmett in my arms. I explained to him last night that this wasn't a play date and that he needed to be gentle with Rosalie because she's really fragile right now.
After I picked up the bag of treats and presents Emmett and I brought for Rosalie with my other hand, we followed the nurse to Rosalie's room.
Rosalie smiled and sat up when she saw us. "Emmett!"
Rosalie's POV:
Nurse Leah picked Emmett up and put him on the bed next to me.
"Rosie!" he said and hugged me. I hugged him back "I missed you" he said
"I missed you"
He brushed his finger over my wrist bandage "You have boo boos?" He asked
I nodded "Yes and I got a shot" I said pointing at my arms
"Does it hurt?" he asked. I shrugged.
"You come over to my house when you get better?"
"Yes" I said "You promise?"
I nodded and smiled "I promise"
"Rosalie, Emmett and I made you this bag of goodies for your stay at the hospital. We know it may not be so fun here" Esme said and handed me a big bag with Elmo on it.
"Thank you!" I said as she kissed my forehead
"No problem sweetie" she said
After about ten minutes of us all playing, Nurse Leah came back in. I pouted when she said Emmett had to go now.
Emmett kissed my cheek "Bye bye!" he said
"Your such a charmer!" Esme said as she picked him up and carried him out
"Bye Emmett!" I said
Tanya's POV:
"So how is she doing?" I asked Rosalie's nurse
"She's doing better but she wakes up crying and screaming which is expected, she's barely eating she'll take three bites and she doesn't want anymore and that worries her doctor because she hasn't made a bowel movement since she got here. Is that normal for her at home?" The nurse asked Kate
"She uses the bathroom on her own so I wouldn't know" Kate said
The nurse sighed and before Kate could say something another nurse came in asking who was next.
The nurse said it was okay for Kate, Rain, Alice, Bella, and I to go in.
Rosalie was sitting in her hospital bed looking at a book. She had a huge Elmo bag beside her.
Rosalie smiled when she noticed Kate and I but when Bella and Alice stepped out her smile faded, she looked like she saw a ghost.
"Go say hi!" One of the nurses said as she picked up Rosalie and set her on her feet on the ground. Her hospital gown was way to big for her.
She didn't move. "Esme said she was fine when they came in" Kate whispered
"I think she's nervous" I said
Alice's POV:
I can't believe it she won't even walk over to us. After five minutes of all of us just staring at her I moved toward her a got down on my knees to be eye level with her. Bella followed behind me
"I missed you" I said and reached to grab her tiny hands. I noticed the bandages on both her wrist.
Before I could pick her up she wrapped her arms around my shoulders. "I missed you too" she said
I put her on my knee and turned her to Bella. Bella kissed her cheek.
"Hi Rosie!" She said
"Emmett brought me cupcakes!" Rose said
"Did he? That's so sweet!" Aunt Kate said
Rosalie's POV:
"Rose you know if your nurse lets us we can come see you tomorrow...Rose don't cry" Alice said and wiped my tears with a tissue.
"I wanna get out of here!" I cried
"Hey" Auntie Katie said as she picked me up in her arms "It's just a few more days alright?"
"It's scary here" I cried as she put me down. Bella grabbed my hand. "Rosie you'll be okay. You have Story right?" She asked
I nodded and wiped my eyes. Alice kissed my forehead. "We love you Rose and remember it's not goodbye it's see you later" She said
Everyone gave me a hug and then they left. I put my face in my hands and cried.
I'm alone again.
Alice's POV:
THE NEXT MORNING:
I was taking Bella to the Cullen's house to play with Edward. They were going to see a movie and get dinner.
I didn't tell Bella because I didn't want to make her upset but I'm going to see Dad today in jail. I want to permanently say goodbye to that monster. I want him to know what he did to my sisters, me, and what he's going to miss while he spends the rest of his life in jail.
I rang the door bell. Esme answered with a sobbing Emmett on her hip.
"Hi! Sorry about him. I just told him that we weren't allowed to see Rosalie today and he got upset" She said as we walked inside.
"Yeah she had a really bad asthma attack this morning. They said she needs to rest she's still sleeping" I said
"See Em Rosie's taking her nap. You'll see her soon okay?"
Emmett wiped his tears and nodded. "Now can Mommy change you?" She asked as she laid him down on a changing table in the kitchen.
Edward came running down the steps. "Bella! Come on let's play!" He said
Bella ran after him. "Bye Alice!" She said
Esme put Emmett back on her hip after she changed him "Jasper is at football practice he has a game coming up. I know you took a break off the cheerleading team but he would love if you were there"
I nodded "I told him would be there" I said
"That's wonderful. Here baby" Esme said and gave Emmett his sippy cup after she laid him down in his playpen.
"You can call me if anything happens with Bella but I'm sure she'll be fine" I said as I left.
"Thank you for watching her!"
"Oh no problem sweetie" Esme said
Charlie's POV:
My face was clam as my oldest daughter and I both grabbed a telephone.
"Hello Alice" I said into the phone as I put my hand on the glass between us.
"Hello Charlie" she said with a cold glare on her face.
"How's Rosalie?" I asked "Is Bella even talking to you?"
"She is actually and she's waking up almost every night screaming. She's closer to our grandmother then she is to me"
I smirked "Does she talk about me?" I asked
"All the time. She thinks your coming back for her" She said
"She's correct about that one. I'll find a way out of here" I said
"You have so many people watching you, you know that's not happening. Your going to rot in here forever as a killer. You killed out mother! The only person who really cared about us. You tried to kill your own child! Who's probably going to have P.T.S.D for the rest of her life! She may never get out of that damn hospital! I hate you! We all hate you! I don't want you to get the death penalty! I want you to stay in here forever. Until you realize what you did!" She screamed and put the phone back on the hook.
Tanya's POV:
Alice was silent during the drive to the gym. "Honey do you want to talk about what you just did?" I asked
"No. That felt so good. I would do it again and again if I could" She said with a smile on her face.
