A/N: I have an announcement to make: After spending time on this site for more than 8 years, and publishing 216 stories, I'm (finally) going to stop writing fanfiction. I will of course do my best to finish Amnesia Completa, but unless I feel a sudden urge to post a one-shot (and let's face it, that happens at least twice a year), I will not focus on anything else but my original work. I will still lurk and reply to messages and such, but I won't finish any of my other ongoing stories (never say never, though).

That being said, I'd like to take this moment to thank each and every one of you who ever read my stories, and/or reviewed, favorited and followed my work. You have helped me grow more than you can imagine. After this, I feel confident enough to finally finish my book and look for a way to get it published. If you'd like, I will keep you guys updated through my page on here. :)

Thanks: ZalelTribal, uklott369, WarriorKing849, and The Exiled Azrael. :)

~ Why was it that they were either fighting or making out lately? That was really messed up, even if the latter only happened once. ~

72) Where?

Terra had just been walking aimlessly around the neighbourhood, being mad at everything and everyone, but especially at himself for pulling that kind of stunt. Why was it that they were either fighting or making out lately? That was really messed up, even if the latter only happened once. To make matter worse, he just cheated on someone he didn't even like romantically...with someone who was already taken.

He just hoped that this wouldn't ruin their friendship...

When he was absolutely sure that Aqua was gone, he went back inside. The house was deserted and empty, which was a good thing, because the last thing he wanted was to bump into Kairi after everything that had happened today.

He headed straight to his bedroom. Under his bed he found a big box that contained a stack of old pictures and letters, a hat, and other random stuff from the time before he had lost his memories. Terra went through the items one by one, not really sure what he was looking for. He just felt the urge to seek things from his past. Even if he found no answers, it would at least distract him from the current mess that he had worked himself in.

He paused at a particular photograph of him in a black swimming shorts and Aqua wearing a blue bikini, beaming at the camera. By the looks of it, it was taken at Destiny Islands Beach.

How weird. Aqua had never told him about this particular holiday…

Terra realized that sorting through this stuff could take a while, so he sat down on the floor instead and brought his attention back to the first photo of the big stack.

Destiny Islands...

He didn't even know he had ever been there before.

Suddenly, he seemed to get a flashback.

"Where are we going?" Aqua asked curiously.

Terra revealed the two pieces of paper in his hand, which he had held behind his back to surprise Aqua. "I have booked two tickets for the two of us…to Destiny Islands! I wanted Ven to come too but he decided to stay in Twilight Town." Aqua gasped in delighted surprise, her eyes widening, as he continued, "I know how much you wanted to visit that place sometime and Zeus knows you're in desperate need of a vacation after these exams about depressing Chopin and whatever. See it as an early graduation present from me."

He had barely finished talking, when Aqua threw herself at him. "Thank you so much, Terra! That's so sweet!'

"Yeah, you're gonna take that back once you realize that you're stuck with me for another ten days," he said, jokingly, but she only tightened her embrace in response.

Terra blinked, still not sure what happened.

What in the world was that all about? Had that bit actually happened for real or was his brain trying to fill the blanks, tired of not being able to remember anything?

He frowned. Did this mean that he was finally getting his memories back?

A/N: Next chapter: What was he supposed to do with his feelings now? Ignore them or…?
