A/N: Sorry for the rushed chapter; I'm still trying to keep to the whole 'one chapter per day so I can finish this in time' plan. For the guest reviewers: I finally came up with a way to reply to your reviews: from now on, I'll write a reply at the bottom of my profile. ;)

~ "We need to talk. I think you have some explaining to do." Her voice was considerably coolly. ~
80) Lost
Terra was completely lost now, because so was his journal…literally. It couldn't be that Vanitas had taken it with him, right? No, he hadn't gotten the chance to leave the living-room to explore the rest of the apartment...
Terra shook his head. His head still hurt from the brutal fight he'd had earlier today, but at least his lip had stopped bleeding, which was something. But to get back to the current problem, Terra was pretty sure that he'd put his journal in the top drawer of his desk. Not only was his journal missing, but the drawer hadn't been locked either. How was this even possible?
That was when he spotted Kairi, leaning casually against the doorframe and holding his journal up in the air. "We need to talk. I think you have some explaining to do." Her voice was considerably coolly.
Uh-oh...
He gulped. Judging from that look on her angry face, she'd read all the entries, including the ones about Aqua, and boy had he been honest in those about his feelings... Why did this have to happen just when he'd considered to ignore his feelings for Aqua and let the past rest? Someone up there had to hate his guts.
"You...read it?" Terra asked. His throat suddenly felt dry.
"Yes. All of it, in case you were wondering. I've learned a lot of things about myself today. So I'm a dull headache that you just can't get rid off no matter how hard you try?"
Terra realized that he was screwed, no matter where the conversation was going from here on. Still, he wasn't one to give up, so he tried to reason with her. "Kairi, look-"
"No! I've been trying to cope with the fact that you can't remember anything from our life together. You may have lost your memories that day, but I lost my fiancé. I gave you your space when you made clear that you weren't ready for a relationship. In fact, I did anything to make you feel comfortable, only to find out through your stupid diary that you were putting your tongue down other people's throat!"
"Kai-"
"And I'm the one being described as the nagging roommate that doesn't really add anything valuable to your life? Really? You're one to talk," she said, interrupting him again, furiously.
"Am I, Kairi? Am I really? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you were the one who went through my stuff behind my back," Terra yelled, this close to losing his temper. "In what relationship is it okay to do that, huh! I may have amnesia but I'm not stupid!"
"Don't you DARE put this on me when you're at fault! I wouldn't have to steep this low if we actually talked from time to time! You know, like engaged people are supposed to do?" Kairi said, with tears in her eyes.
"Just because we were engaged before I lost my memories, doesn't necessarily mean that we'll end up together after I'm cured from my amnesia," Terra sputtered in anger. "I'm a whole different person now. You can't force someone to love you by being nice to them!"
"What are you really angry about? That I went through your stuff or that I found out you were cheating with that blue-haired bimbo all this time!?"
"Aqua has nothing to do with th-"
"Get out!" Kairi yelled, throwing the journal as hard as she could to his face. Not that it hit him; Terra was capable of catching it in mid-air.
She didn't have to say that twice. As soon as Terra left their apartment, Kairi completely lost control and started throwing around everything that hadn't been broken yet. The sound of breaking glass felt good at the moment, as if with every loud thump and every new shard, she was breaking everything that Aqua was holding dear. Oh look, it was the vase that she'd given them as an engagement gift. Good, she'd never liked the ugly thing anyways, but Terra had been adament about keeping it in the living-room like a thorn in her eye.
By the time that the pretty redhead had run out of stuff to break, a feeling of pure calmness washed over her. In fact, she couldn't have sounded more calm and collected when she called up Aqua and asked for them to meet at the part of Destiny Islands that was near her apartment. She was going to get it...
Terra was outside, walking around aimlessly to cool off, when he spotted Ven, walking a few meters in front of him. What was he doing there all alone? He didn't even know that Ven was back in town...
"Ven!" Terra called, but to no avail, since Ventus didn't react. So he tried again: "Hey, Ven! Wait up!"
His blond friend briefly glanced over his shoulder, but instead of greeting Terra, he turned back around and continued walking away.
What the hell? Terra thought, utterly confused at his friend's odd behavior. Where did Ven think he was going? He wasn't going to let it slide that easily!
Terra fastened his pace until he cought up with his friend. He grabbed him by the elbow to make him stand still and asked, "Hey, why are you ignoring me?"
"What the- Leave me alone, man," Ven said, slightly annoyed, while trying to shrug Terra off.
Terra blinked a couple of times. Was this some kind of sick joke? Because this was far from funny.
"You're kidding, right?" Terra asked incredulously.
"No, go away!"
Terra's brows furrowed together in pure confusion. "What, why?"
"Look, my name is not Ven. It's Roxas. R-O-X-A-S. Weirdo."
Terra, who was still far from convinced, wouldn't let it go until this 'Roxas' showed him his ID. That's when he realized that Ven's story about how there are seven dopplegangers of every person on this earth, might have had some truth in it after all. The brunet man apologized and changed direction, so that it wouldn't look as if he was some creepy stalker who was following Roxas.
Maybe he should accept the fact that today wasn't exactly his day, what with the fight with Vanitas, then the verbal fight with Kairi, and now this mix-up. Was the universe trying to tell him that he sucked? Because he already knew that.
Any tips on how to improve would be more than welcome though, he mused.
A/N: Next chapter: Little did she know that a red-haired figure was watching her from behind…
