A/N: The last one for today. I forgot to mention this, but I introduced an important character in the previous chapter, that I had planned on using in the sequel. I'm surprised no one noticed. :P
Thanks: ZalelTribal, Jiosio, and Guest. :)
~ Now it was Aqua's turn to get mad. Since when was he being so possessive of her? ~
95) Light
Aqua hadn't felt this light in a long while. It was as though she was dreaming everything. Most of the time, she found herself daydreaming about the concerts she would participate in with the orchestra, and that made her feel even lighter. In fact, it made her forget about everything she'd been worried about.
Perhaps she should take up on Leon's offer and go with him to all these great places. It was a unique opportunity after all. What were the odds of the most famous private orchestra in the world needing a violinist? Maybe this would be her only chance to break through. Besides that, she really needed to leave Radiant Garden for a while to clear her head from all the bad stuff.
With that thought in mind, she grabbed her phone and called Leon to tell him that she wanted to go. He seemed happy with that news, even though one could never be too sure about that.
As soon as the call was over, Aqua went to her bedroom to already pack her suitcase under Stitch's watchful eye. They would be leaving soon and she hated stressing about everything right before they had to leave.
"Listen, I know that I'll miss you terribly and I hope you'll miss me too, but taking you with me would be so boring to you! Plus, Aerith took great care of you the last time, right? She told me she would love to do it again whenever it's needed," Aqua gently told her pet. "I know you'll love it with her and Zack. And I'll bring you a new toy. Maybe a big sister for your Lilo?"
Stitch tilted his head to the side, but didn't do anything else to let her know that he understood what she was saying.
Aqua sighed lightly, then opted to pat Stitch's head. "You're a good boy, aren't you?"
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. For a brief moment, she hoped it was Terra, but then she realized that that would make things worse; the brunet man had been sending her messages throughout this week, but Aqua knew that she had to keep her distance from him. It was too early – and not to mention too confusing – to start another realationship right after she got out of her current one. Besides, she wasn't even sure what she felt for the man anymore.
When she opened the door, her heart skipped a beat at the sight of Terra.
"You didn't reply to my messages, so I thought of dropping by to see if everything was okay," he said.
"Right. Come on in. Drinks are in the fridge, sooth yourself."
Aqua quickly hurried back to her bedroom, in case Stitch had decided to mess up everything she was packing. Terra fixed a drink, before going to look for his friend.
"Oh… Are you going somewhere?" Terra asked, surprised to see the open suitcase on her bedroom floor.
"Yes, I'm going on a tour with Xehanort's orchestra," Aqua replied, her back turned to him so that he couldn't see the blus that crept on her cheeks.
Terra frowned, as he went with his hand through his messy hair. "When?"
"In a few days."
"For how long?"
Aqua shrugged. "Three months or so."
"Or so? So you don't even know when you'll be back?"
"Not exactly, no."
Terra sounded somewhat angry when he asked her, "And when exactly were you planning to tell me? Once you got back from the tour?"
Finally, Aqua swivelled around to face him. "No, as soon as I was done with packing my suitcase."
"I bet you already told Vanitas," he muttered.
Now it was Aqua's turn to get mad. Since when was he being so possessive of her?
"As a matter of fact, I haven't. I need to get away from here to clear my head and I don't want to have this conversation again."
She hoped she'd get considerably lighter once she was back… and that her decision about Terra would be made by then…
A/N: Next chapter: "Couldn't you guys have killed him off instead of giving him amnesia? You can't believe how much trouble that idiot of a Terra has given me ever since."
