~ "The sooner she dies, the sooner we can carry out the rest of our plan." ~
99) Watch
They had been watching her for quite a while now. She sure was beautiful, and an interesting person too; nothing boring ever happened around her. Many people seemed to like her, and honestly, he couldn't blame them for it.
"Aqua, a pretty young woman, who just can't seem to find the right one for her. She lost a good friend when he got amnesia, and gained another good friend when Squall started a new career in the world of orchestras. This is quite a story to summarize," said Nida, a rather handsome man with black hair and dark-brown eyes. "She's a strong woman. And a good cook too. I had a chance to steal a cookie that day that I bumped into her. Such a shame that she has to disappear…" Nida noted casually, as he paused one of the screens that showed how a certain bluenette woman was playing with her pet Stitch.
"I'll say." While Nida readjusted his SeeD uniform to look more presentable, another figure who stood in the shadows spoke up. "What choice do we have? Rinoa brought out the best in Squall by being alive. Aqua will bring out the best in him when she stops living. We need to have our best agent back and desperate times ask for desperate measures. But we can't do this alone. We need help. From the best of the best. Or in this case… the worst of the worst."
The man had a deep voice, one that boomed with authority. Someone who ruled the underworld of Radiant Garden, which was better known as 'Hollow Bastion.'
Nida nodded in understanding. "Organization XIII. I'm on it."
"You'd better be, because we are running out of precious time. Oh, and while you're at it, send someone over to that Vanitas. If he refuses again, make sure he won't make it to the next day. If he had done his job as he was supposed to do, we wouldn't be in this kind of situation in the first place," the shadowy figure said.
Nida nodded one last time, before leaving the room.
"Aqua won't know what will hit her once we're done with her…literally. The sooner she dies, the sooner we can carry out the rest of our plan."
A/N: Only one chapter left! This feels so surreal right now... :D
Next chapter: The man chuckled. "About time you showed up. I thought I was going to spend the rest of the night alone."
