A/N: Updated this chapter because I didn't realize just how short it was... so I combined a future filler chapter with this one lol. Sorry about that!

The day Kamiko realized she was developing feelings for Fuji Syusuke was the day Echizen Ryoma finally got to see a truly frazzled side of her.

"Spaz." Ryoma smirked.

Kamiko flailed her arms around and streams of tears fell down heavily, "Wahh~~ Ryo-chan! Mou, why are you so mean to me?! I don't know what's going on!"

"You don't... Know?"

The concept of Kamiko not knowing something (other than mathematics) was a truly disturbing sight when they were younger, yet, Ryoma found it more amusing now than anything.

"I don't understand!" She cried, "Syu-chan is... He's nice and interesting and funny and playful and smart and-"

Irked, Ryoma raised his brow with a monotonous expression, "Is that all you like about him?"

"I thought it was... But, I mean if you really talked to him he's not just all those things. He's more than that and it's always so nice seeing him actually being more than his usual self while he's being his usual self! He really cares and he doesn't show it but he does and he's smart and playful but that's just his sense of humor and he doesn't mean anyone any harm and now the only thing I want to do now is impress him. And I want him to smile at me and look at me and I wanna just stand there beside him and-"

"You like him."

"N-Nani? I like lots of people!" Kamiko argued.

"Is Fuji-senpai like lots of people?"

"No! He's more than any of them! He truly cares for the people around him and he doesn't mind what happens to him so long as others are happy! And he's really talented too, all he needs is something to push him so he can use his true potential!"

"Kami-chan... You like him." Ryoma walked away and rolled his eyes, not truly processing why he himself was thinking that way about a certain person.

He shrugged it off, he wasn't as spazzy as Kamiko, and this is the first time she'd ever felt that way. He couldn't possibly like R-

"Mou, Ryo-chan! Why do you know this better than me?! I'm the matchmaker!"

Ryoma smirked, "Mada Mada Dane."

Kamiko pouted at herself in the bathroom mirror, the Fuji household bathroom mirror. After she realized her feelings for the Seishun's resident tensai she couldn't stop herself from acting giddy. So here she was, trying to calm herself enough so that she wouldn't be too "spazzy" (as Ryoma would call it) on the way to school in the morning. The walk to school was about fifteen minutes.

"Calm Kamiko is good Kamiko." She repeated to herself several times.

As much as she readied herself for the walk, she never expected for him to be waiting for her in the kitchen. He smiled pleasantly as her eyes widened, and she took an apple and grasped Fuji's hand.

"Syu-chan! We'll be late if I eat!"

Fuji chuckled, closing the door on his way out as Kamiko pulled him along.

"Kami-chan?"

She turned around, eyebrows raised in question as she bit into her apple.

"Seigaku is the opposite way, that way is towards St. Rudolph."

"Nani?!" Kamiko almost dropped the apple, and turned around to see Fuji's benign smile, "Syu-chan, why didn't you tell me?!"

Kamiko began running the other way, pulling Fuji along once again. It seemed that she wasn't looking for an answer, and Fuji was perfectly content with that. Soon enough, though, the two had stumbled upon a common sight.

"Baka Viper! What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"Moron Peach Head I'm trying to get into the clubhouse, are you that stupid?!"

"What'd you call me?!"

"What did you call me?!"

Kamiko pushed the two away with one hand, apple in mouth, with Fuji behind her.

"What are you guys fighting about now?" She asked while throwing her apple at Momo's head.

Momo winced, "Ittai..."

"Ha." Kaidoh smirked in satisfaction, but he too winced when he felt Kamiko pinch him. He hissed in annoyance.

"Can't you two stop when your senpai is in front of you?"

Momo and Kaidoh finally realized the situation, and by situation, they meant the situation involving Kamiko and Fuji's hands entangled together. A mischievous smile, and an approving hiss fueled Kamiko's evergrowing blush as she followed their gazes.

"G-gomen'nasai, Syu-chan, I'll be going to class then..."
