"The Lady Sansa has sent word that she will be travelling to Kings Landing." Harys stood before King Tommen in the throne room of the Red Keep. "Joffrey and the Red Priestess Melisandre will be accompanying her as well as her sister Arya Stark and Lord Sandor Clegane."

Tommen had hardly paid much attention to what Harys had been saying to him, his mind on Margaery. "They come for the funeral?"

"That is what the letter says, to pay their respects to the Queen." He then looked to Tommen who still seemed a million miles away. "But your grace… I do not think that is all Joffrey will be here for." He stepped up the stairs to the throne, "I fear he is also coming to take the iron throne back, by force if necessary."

Tommen finally looked to Harys, a defeated look in his eyes. "There will be no need for force. I will step aside and give him the throne." He slowly stood, "truth be told I never wanted it anyway." He held up his hand before Harys could argue, "perhaps with Lady Sansa by his side he will be a better ruler." Without another word, Tommen stepped down from the throne, moving to his private chambers.

"The King is heartbroken…" Harys turned to see the city watch captain, Aleck walking in. "He's giving up on everything because he lost the one thing he cared for the most."

"Feeling philosophical are we Aleck?"

With a chuckle Aleck shook his head, "I've seen many men who have lost their wives go through the same. He will snap out of it though." He turned his attention to the doors that Tommen had walked out of, "perhaps seeing his brother will be the key."

"We cannot let Joffrey take the throne." Harys looked to Aleck, "he was a tyrant, and he was murdered. Now somehow he is alive by some sorcery. He is out for blood, and with more power, he will be worse."

"The city watch is in your command my lord, we will do what we need."

Harys thought on it a moment, "when their ships arrive, I want the Lady Sansa quickly taken into custody. Bring her to the tower of the hand with a dozen men guarding her." He then started to walk down from the throne, "her sister will be with her as well, she should be brought with the Lady Sansa as well."

Aleck bowed lightly, "it shall be done."

Sansa stood with Arya in her chambers, both girls looking out the windows to the waters below. "If the weather doesn't get any better, we're in for a tough journey."

Arya watched as the waves crashed against the rocks, "I've seen worse."

Sansa giggled as she ruffled Arya's hair lightly. "I'm sure you have, with all the travelling you have done." She sighed as she finally moved to sit down, "I envy you Arya, and you've seen more of Westeros than I have. You're tough, you can protect yourself."

Arya looked at her sister, then down at the sword she always carried with her. "We're two sides of the same coin Sansa." She then pulled an iron coin from the pouch on her side. Walking to Sansa she handed it to her, "valar morghulis."

Sansa looked at the coin and nodded, "valar dohaeris." She smiled slightly looking at Arya, "maybe one day you can take me to Braavos."

Arya nodded as she finally sat down, "it's a date." She chuckled lightly, "we'll need to get away from that damn city. What better way than to visit Braavos?"

"Yeah…" Sansa sighed, looking down at her hand as it toyed with the iron coin. "Maybe…"

Arya looked at Sansa, she could see the sadness in her eyes. "I promise Sansa, you will see Braavos." She leaned forward, putting her hand on top of Sansa's. "Keep that coin, it will be our way of making sure the promise is kept."

Sansa smiled at Arya, nodding her head. A knock at the door keeping her from answering.

"Little bird?" Sandor stepped in slowly as Sansa stood from the table.

"Is everything alright Sandor?" She looked at him as he walked in.

He didn't speak as he slowly handed her a letter, his eyes emotionless. Once she had the letter, he moved to the table, picking up the flask of wine to fill his own glass.

Reading the letter Sansa's eyes widened. "Ser Gregor Clegane has perished at sea…" She looked to Sandor who had already finished his glass and was refilling it. She then looked down at the letter again, "his ship taken down by a storm on his journey back to Dragonstone."

"But isn't that a good thing?" Arya stood from the table looking at Sandor.

"Arya!" Sansa looked to Sandor, "are you alright?"

"I hated him…" He finished his wine before throwing the glass against the wall. "I wanted him dead…" He looked to Sansa, "I wanted to do it."

"But now that he's gone…" She moved to him, placing a hand on his arm, "it's not the same feeling you thought it would be."

He shook his head, looking down at Sansa a moment, "damn him. Had to die at sea…" He then turned, slamming his fist into the wall.

"Sandor you're going to destroy Sansa's room at this rate." Arya poured a glass of wine and offered it to him.

Sansa smiled to Arya then looked to Sandor, "I'm sorry Sandor."

"Well I'm not! I'm glad the bastard is dead, just pissed I didn't do it." He took the glass from Arya, drinking down the wine. He then looked at Sansa, shaking his head, "don't pity him, he doesn't deserve it." He then turned away from her, moving to the door, "he was to be your sworn sword according to the little prick." He looked at her, "I guess you lucked out." He then quickly left before Sansa or Arya could stop him.

"What was that about?" Arya moved to Sansa, both girls looking at the door.

"It was his brother… no matter how much he hated him, he was still his brother." Sansa looked to Arya, "and he did want to take his own revenge." She sighed a bit, "Gregor was his obsession for a long time, now that obsession is gone."

"The seas have proven to be rough, perhaps we should delay our travels." Joffrey stood with Melisandre in the throne room. Both looking out the windows as they watched the waves. "We cannot take the iron throne if we are dead after all."

"The lord of light has decreed we leave tomorrow, our travels will be safe." Melisandre continued looking out the window, "he will protect us, and guide us safely to Kings Landing." Her eyes slowly looked to Joffrey who still had his attention out the window. "Your life if most valuable, as is the Queens."

Joffrey nodded, finally turning from the window. "Are all preparations made?"

"They are, we have our men in Kings Landing waiting for us. As well as the ships full and ready for the journey. You have nothing to worry about your grace, except for the comfort of your bride." She smiled to Joffrey, "your cabin is the finest I have seen, and I have travelled on many ships. I am sure the two of you will be quite pleased with it."

Joffrey nodded, "fine. Then we sail at first light."

.

The blood was warm and sticky, she felt it running over her fingers. She sat there in their bed, only wearing her white night shift as she gripped the dagger. Looking down beside her, Joffrey's eyes were wide, yet lifeless. His throat still spilling blood from the gash she had just put into it.

"Well done my bride…"

The dark figure moved in from behind her, she could not make out his face. She watched as he took the dagger from her hand. Watched as he lifted Joffrey's lifeless body, watched as the dark figure merged himself with Joffrey.

Suddenly the lifeless body of Joffrey was full of life again, the gash in his throat healing instantly. The blood fading away from his skin, as well as Sansa's hands. The green eyes looking at her slowly shifted, they were now glowing red.

..

"Sansa!" Joffrey placed his hand on her shoulder, gently shaking her awake, causing her to scream out slightly as she shot up in the bed.

She looked to him, her eyes going to his throat then to her own hands. "What…"

"You were having a nightmare…" He looked at her a moment before moving from the bed to pour her a glass of wine. Moving to her he handed her the glass, "do you remember what you dreamed?"

'Yes…' She looked at him as she took the wine, sipping it lightly as she shook her head. "No."

Taking the glass from her, he placed it down on the nearby table before returning beside her in the bed. "Try and go back to sleep, we leave early and you will need your rest."

She nodded, slowly laying back down, the images from her dreams still running through her head. Was it only a dream, or a foreshadowing?
