A/N: Last time, the main Runners just finished their investigation and now returning to LA while Big Time Rush found themselves trouble again! Can they escape from the mysterious masked soldiers while UR figures out the robbery in time for the concert if the band stays alive? Let's rock as we go to Part 2!

Big Time Runner: Part 2

Back in Los Angeles, Jordan, Itzal, and Zeus are walking on the sidewalks as the latter is doing something on his RunCom, which the screen shows his -VersalCycle- and a meter rising.

"I can't believe my cycle ran out of batteries and forced me to recharge it!" Zeus complained. "Who made that idea of me racing against Bren?!"

"Uh, like these words a few days ago? "If your -VersalCycle- is so fast than others, then I challenge you to a -VersalCycle- race, hot-head!"," Jordan said as she imitates her voice like Zeus's. "Seriously, you maybe calm at any situations like this and school. But when it comes to my cousin, your head goes on "stupid" mode."

The trio walked past the Staples Center when suddenly their RunComs let out a screaming sound.

"What's that?," Jordan said.

"It seems our Deep Ear Apps detected a disturbance at the Staples Center," Itzal said. "Down in the bowels of it actually."

"First off, don't say 'bowels' ever again. And second, you don't think it could be BTR in trouble?"

"Only one way to find out," Zeus said as the trio headed towards the Staples Center.

"What do they want with us?!" James asked in panic.

"An evil plot, obviously," Carlos said.

"See? This is exactly what I was afraid of," Kendall said, exasperated.

As the mysterious men approached the band, they quickly heard a voice.

"Yo, wannabe aliens! What's black and silver and about to get their butt kicked?"

Before they can find the source of that voice, the Runners quickly jumped above the men, knocking them unconscious.

"Answer: fashion rejects!" Jordan answered. "Sorry, guys. But nobody hurts my best friend's favorite band and gets away with it!"

"Um thanks. Who are you guys?," Logan asked.

"Just some extraordinary kids who saved your extraordinary butts."

Suddenly more henchmen emerged from all directions this time sporting blasters and blades. Itzal readied his RunCom, but Zeus grabbed his hand.

"What are you doing?," he asked.

"Uh, if you're going to say "We can't change in front of a famous band", I just want to say that THERE ARE GUYS WITH REAL SWORDS AND GUNS AIMING AT US!"Itzal shouted at Zeus. "Like we have any choice here?!"

"Man, I always hate it when this happens," Zeus groaned before regaining his composure. "Alright guys, time to teach them how to rock and roll!"

"Now you're speaking my language!" Jordan said as she opens her app while her friends does the same and shout out, "RUN CONVERSION! LOG IN!"

In a flash of blue, black, and white lights, the three transformed into their avatar forms with their weapons in hand.

"What the?," James said in shock.

"How'd they–?," Kendall said as well.

"Cool, dude!," Carlos said in admiration.

"It's them, they must be those warriors from the rumors," Logan said. "I told you it was worth investigating!"

The three Runners charged at the men, weapons in hand. Jordan, with her -Ice Crystal Blade-, parried the swordmen's attacks and deflected the gunmen's attacks back them. Then with one big slash she had sent the men flying backwards.

Itzal, with his -Phoenix Dusk Scythe-, managed to blow all his opponents away (before they could even touch him) with one fell swipe.

And Zeus, with his -Sun Slashing Katana-, had managed to blind his opponents with his -Flash Block- before swiftly cutting them down.

Eventually, the men all retreated, leaving the Runners with a very stunned and shocked BTR looking at them.

"I hope they don't have an encore for us," Jordan said before turning to see the band. "You guys okay?"

"That was…AMAZING!," Carlos said.

"Totally cool!," James added.

"Who are you guys?," Kendall asked.

"The name's Jordan, Jordan Waters," Jordan said as she then gestured towards Itzal and Zeus. "These are Itzal Kurosawa…"

"Hey," Itzal said.

"And Zeus Starr."

"Hello," Zeus said.

"Well I'm Kendall Knight."

"I'm James Diamond, the one and only."

"Carlos Garcia, senorita."

"And Logan Mitchell."

"And we are…," they all said.

"Big Time Rush, I know," Jordan answered for them.

"Well how did you guys do that?," Kendall said.

"Well it's a long story," Itzal said. "Can you guys keep a secret… or a dozen?"

"Sure," they all said. The three Runners then explained everything about the Runners, ULO, the Black Tundra, the Data Cores and all of the different worlds.

"Wow," Logan said. "And all the rumors about there being warriors who fight evil on the streets of L.A. are true?"

"Yeah, pretty much," Zeus said.

"HA! I knew it! In you face non-believers," Logan shouted as he began to dance the "In-Your-Face dance," before Carlos stopped him.

"Okay, okay," Carlos said as he stopped Logan and turned towards the Runners. "Don't you guys have like civilian identities or something?"

"Oh yeah," she said as the trio took to their RunComs and said, "Log Out!," changing them back to normal.

After the Runners changed back to their casual attire, Jordan asks, "But why those mysterious creeps go after the band?"

"I doubt they did it for an autograph," Itzal said.

"Well they could have been hired by Gustavo's rival Hawk trying to ruin us for landing him in jail," James suggested.

"Or maybe it was that Sir Atticus Moon, for ruining his plan to rule the world by nearly destroying it with natural disasters," Logan suggested.

"Or maybe Martin Sharkus, whom we stopped from using a commercial he made with us to brainwash all those at and watching the Tween Choice Awards, into always buying his products," Carlos suggested.

"Wait, rewind! You guys stopped some world-conquering bad guys before?!" Zeus asked in shock.

"It's a recurring thing with us," Kendall said with a shrug.

"Maybe one of them got a grudge on the band and wanted revenge?" Jordan guessed.

"Possibly. But they encountered those villains, not me," Itzal said. "We can't make them suspects yet."

"Well, since you guys kinda got a knack of getting yourselves in trouble a lot in unusual stuff, you should stick with us and let us protect you in case those guys come back," Jordan suggested.

The four guys looked at the trio and each other and then said, "Okay!"

Meanwhile, unknown to them, the leader of the masked men still spied on them from above as he talked to his boss on the phone.

"We failed to recover the band, some kids managed to forced us to flee," the mysterious masked man said to his phone.

"Then what are you waiting for? Eliminate them before they become a bigger thorn on my plans!" a mysterious, distorted voice angrily said to the man.

"We'll get right on it sir."

"You'd better. No one's ruining my newest plan this time!"

Back at CodeX United, the S-Runners are with Tina in some kind of a lab as Kani inspects their clues so far with a microscope.

"Okay, from what I can determine offhand is that the footprint is of a size 36 combat boot, with a special circular pattern in the sole," Kani said.

"And the blue liquid?," Calla asked Tina.

"It seems to be a fuel compound used in gas-powered robots. I know because I happen to know several robotics scientists who use this compound."

"So basically, a robot committed the robbery?," Bren said. "But what about the footprint?"

"Could have been a human in with the robot," Kani said. "Or the robot could have been designed to be humanlike?"

"Possibly," Tina said.

Then, Tina's RunCom rings as she quickly answers it, revealing Jordan, Itzal, and Zeus on her screen.

"Runners, any update on your side yet?"

"Well, we found out that a hypnotic system that was planned to be used to help therapists in the future has just been stolen," Zeus explained.

"Unfortunately for me, more mind control villain plot," Jordan groaned.

"Any clues about the robbery at Dixon Lab?" Tina asked.

"Only that whoever did it used some sort of powerful shockwave or soundwave to destroy the containment unit the program was in," Zeus said.

"Plus there's something else," Itzal said.

"What?," Tina said. Just then, Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan popped onto the screen, stunning everyone.

"Is…," asked Kani.

"That…," asked Bren.

"BIG TIME RUSH!" Calla said as she scream like a banshee. "OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! BIG TIME RUSH IS RIGHT THERE ON THE SCREEN. I'M LOOKING AT AND TALKING TO THE IN PERSON! OH MY GOSH!"

"Waters, Kurosawa, Starr, you have broken your vows as Runners!" Tina angrily said to the Runners. "You reveal your secret to the boy band!"

"But Ms. Reyheart..."

"SAVE IT! I want you to meet me back here so I can remove your-"

"Wait! We can explain!" Kendall spoke up to Tina as his friend gathered behind him. "It's our fault. We got ambushed by these masked guys, they saved our butts and we convinced them to show us who they were."

"Masked guys?," Tina said. "Were they the Black Tundra?"

"We doubt it, but we Runners were still obligated to protecting the innocent and well, they were innocent, so…" Jordan said.

"Well, looks like my strict attitude got the better of me again," Tina said as she blushes. "Sorry about that, Runners."

"Forgiven, Ms. Reyheart," Jordan said. "Although, you have to train your listening skills better so you don't want to end up like my cousin when he thought that his little sisters stole his cell phone that one time."

"Well come on," Bren said. "Mila and Sila, the little twin terrors, are always taking my stuff without asking."

"In any case, I doubt this attack and the robbery is just a coincidence. S-Runners, I want you to join with the others to protect Big Time Rush after you're done analyzing the clues," Tina ordered.

"You mean, we're gonna be protecting the one and only…Big Time Rush?," Calla asked.

"Yes," Tina said. Calla then screamed even louder than before.

"OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH! I'M GONNA BE WITH BTR IN PERSON! PROTECTING THEM! WATCHNG OVER THEIR EVERY MOVE! OH MY GOSH!"

Jordan turned to the band and said, "Sorry, she's a super fan of you guys."

"No problem, we get those all the time," Kendall said.

"As long she doesn't start stalking us," Logan added.

However a few hours later, Calla is staring at the band at their hotel suite in a crazed matter as they are resting at the dressing room, much to their dismay.

"Uh you can stop staring at us…in that totally creepy way…," Kendall said.

"But I'm just doing my job, watching your every move," Calla replied lovestruck.

"Okay, that's enough creeping them out, Calla," Kani said.

"Okay, recap. We have two robberies in France and South Korea of a jewelry store and a sound tech lab, with many valuable rocks and a top secret program stolen," Jordan explained.

"Also, Big Time Rush got attacked by mysterious men wearing jump suits," Zeus added. "Who don't come from the Black Tundra, but could be working with a hidden villain around here."

"Maybe. Hey guys! Before you guys entered the bow-"

Itzal stopped for a second after seeing Jordan, remembering that she doesn't want to hear that word earlier, and clears his throat before correcting, "I mean the basement floor of Staples Center, what did you guys do anyway?"

"Nothing, just a regular pre-show rehearsal," Carlos said.

"But I do recall that man who gave us the gig give us instructions that we can't leave the stage or or suite ever before the concert and we have to visit LA's record studio so we can rework our songs for it," Logan explained.

"Well, we haven't leave the stage if Logan wouldn't convince us to go down finding out those rumors anyway," Kendall said as he glares at Logan in anger after what happened.

"But why did you have to rework your songs? They're just perfect the way they are, especially James's voice in "City is Ours" and "Elevate"," Calla said in a lovestruck manner as she stares at James, which creeps him out a little until Bren pulls her away.

"Yeah, your voice and songs are good. It's not like he wants you to lip-sync or something," he said.

"I know, so why would he want to rework everything for?," James asked.

"Hmm... Can you at least give me the name of that man?" Itzal asked to BTR.

"Well, his name is Stephan Stringer. He says that he could take BTR to the next level, which according to Gustavo is Grammy-winner level," James answered, much to Itzal's dismay.

"Drat, I thought I got an angle," he cursed in defeat.

"What's the matter, Itz?" Jordan asked to her friend.

"Remember the case involving Sam, Clover, and Alex investigating connections with Ricky Mathis's sudden rise to fame?" Itzal asked.

"Yeah, it's actually the first episode of it, too."

"Hang on, what are you guys talking about?" Kendall asked in suspicion.

"Oh, I forgot to mention. I know you guys don't know about this show since it's not really popular, but Itzal Kurosawa right here is actually Tony Clark from the show, The Amazing Spiez!" Jordan explained.

"Wait, I know that show, it's the spinoff from that other spy show," Kendall said.

"Yeah, what was it called again?," Carlos asked.

"Totally Spies," Logan answered.

"That's it," James said. "And I'll tell you those three ladies would love this Diamond."

"And you are one of the spin-off's characters?," Kendall asked. Itzal nodded.

"NO WAY!," the band all said.

"Yeah, I'm one of the spies of WOOHP, short for World Organization of Human Protection back in my world," Itzal explained. "Although, I'm not exactly the smartest or stronger on my spy team."

"But you're still my favorite," Jordan said, causing Itzal to blush.

"No way!"

Before they can notice that voice, Katie quickly popped out from behind the couch and says, "A character from TAS! just talk my big brother! Also, he's in person, too!"

"Yes, yes I did," Itzal said.

"And you're Tony?"

"Yep. Uh, who are you anyway?"

"This is my little sister, Katie," Kendal said.

"And how she know that we're Runners?!" Bren asked in panic. "Is she a spy, a psychic, or a superpowered mad scientist disguised as a sweet little girl!?"

"None of the above," Katie said. "I play some Universal Legends in my spare time. Also, I used those Spy Gadget toy such as that body wire that I put on my big bro just in case."

Kendall opens his mouth to say something but is utterly too speechless and surprised to say anything.

"And nice RunComs by the way."

"Thanks," Zeus said.

"Hey, have you heard back from Gustavo or Kelly yet?," Logan asked.

"No," Katie said.

"Well what do you say we head back over to the Center and see what's up?," Kendall asked. Everyone voiced their agreement.

"Well then back to the stage it is."

Later on, back at the Staples Center, the Runners and BTR had arrived and were looking around for their producer and his assistant.

"Hey Gustavo, Kelly?," Carlos shouted.

"Are you guys here?," James shouted as well.

"DOGS!," a mean gruff voice shouted. Everyone turned to find Gustavo, looking even meaner and stricter than usual. With him was Kelly, who looked unusually mean and strict.

"Hey guys, we just came by to…" Logan started to say.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOGS DOING BACK HERE!," Gustavo shouted in a loud and strict tone, startling everyone.

"Just came by to show some new friends of ours the stage, and…" Kendall said.

"You guys should be back at your suite until we called for you!," Kelly said in a strict tone.

"But you said we could do what ever we want to until the concert," James said.

"Well, I changed my mind!," Gustavo shouted strictly. "You four are under my lockdown until further notice! Security!"

Suddenly a bunch of security guards appeared.

"Take the dogs to their dressing room. And escort their friends here out of the premises right now."

The guards grabbed everyone and separated them. The boys were taken to their dressing room while the Runners were all grabbed and escorted away to the exit.

"Hey, hey, watch it!," Jordan said as the guard roughly shoved her.

"Don't push me," Calla protested.

"We're going already, man!," Itzal said in annoyance.

When they reached the exit, the Runners got thrown out by the guards, much to their dismay.

"Rude much! I'm their biggest fan and also, my best friend save their butts! And I can easily see to it that you never work in any kind of security again," Calla said in anger.

"That's not what I call a shared responsibility," Jordan said in annoyance. "That Gustavo guy is acting strangely, especially his assistant."

"How can you be so sure?" Zeus said as he tries to recover.

"Well for one, he's supposed to be a creative genius in music and all of BTR's songs have been surefire hits. Why and how would any one convince them to rework the songs?"

"That's what we wanna know," Logan said as the boys and Katie popped out from around a corner much to the Runner's surprise.

"Guys," Itzal said. "How'd you escape?"

"Katie switched the dressing room sign with that of a side exit," Kendall said.

"But like you said there is some thing crazy going on with the Gustavo and Kelly," Carlos said.

"And I for one, want to know what it is," James said.

"Only one way to find out, meet back with Layla and Andre and let the latter analyze the clues Itzal, Zeus, and I just found," Jordan suggested.

"But how can we do that with that?!" Bren said as he pointed at the traffic near them. "I doubt getting a bus or taxi would not only give us trouble since BTR is with us, but we can't able to get there in time before their boss finds out that they're missing!"

However, Kani realizes an idea as she opens her bag and says, "Maybe we'll take the Amica Express then."

"What's Amica Express?" Carlos asked in confusion, which is answered when Amica pops out of Kani's bag and roars at the band.

"Whoa," Logan said. "A tiger cub?"

"And she's green?," James asked.

Kendall and Carlos could only look on with looks of surprise and wonder.

"We can just find a wagon and make a chariot out of that and Amica," Kani suggested.

"Okay, great idea. Except how can a tiny tiger cub can pull us when we're in a wagon?" Logan asked in skepticism.

"Amica, transform!" Kani commanded to her Faunia, which Amica gives off a flash of white bright light, causing BTR and Katie to shield their eyes. When they recovered as the light disperses, they are quickly shocked to see that Amica just turned into her adult tiger form.

"Cool, I never seen a -Tigreria- Faunia before!" Katie said in excitement.

"Wow," Carlos said. "That is one cool cat!"

"I should start playing Universal Legends myself," Kendall said.

"Me too," James said.

"Me three," Logan added. Just then he saw a nearby wagon cart. "And look there's a wagon we can use."

"Then let's get working," Jordan said. A few minutes later, the cart was hooked up to Amica with everyone inside. Calla took the reigns in her hand.

"Okay Amica, to Andre and Layla. Ya!," she said as she pulled the reigns. Amica then dashed off at top speed, taking the group to their friend's location.

Back at Calla's mansion, Andre and Layla are watching some kind of horror/thriller movie at the movie theater room, with the latter covering her eyes in fear.

"Why did the website didn't tell me that this movie include gore, too?!" she said in a scared and dismay tone. "I was hoping for a psychological cat and mouse chase!"

"Hey, you saw the Blu-Ray DVD on Calla's rack, not me," Andre protested. "Besides, I wanted to watch monster movies instead of this one."

However, they quickly heard a roaring sound from outside.

"Yeah, then why I heard a tiger in the movie just now?" Layla asked while still covering her eyes.

"There are no tigers in the movie. In fact, that sounds like..."

When they hear another roar, they quickly got out of the theater room and the mansion to see the Runners on a wagon Amica just finished pulling.

"Amica! Guys!" both of them said in shock.

"Hey guys! What's up?" Itzal said in a casual manner.

"We wouldn't be here sooner when we got a little band detour on our way here," Jordan added, which she shows the BTR band to their non-Runner friends, much to the latter's shock.

"You brought a boy band?!" Andre said.

"Yeesh, I have Hatsune Miku by having some VOCALOID software back in my house. But this is over-the-top, don't you think?" Layla added.

"Trust me, we have a reason we're here," Kendall said.

"But right now, we'll explain later. Andre, we need your computer prowess," Jordan said as her tone changed into serious.

"What do you want me to do?" he said, seeing that they do have a reason why the famous boy band are with the Runners.

Inside Kani's bedroom, Andre is looking at the clues the main Runners found in the crime scene of Dixon Surround Lab through his laptop as Jordan says, "Are you sure you can analyze them? Besides, even we know that's a hypnosis program and we guessed that a soundwave destroyed half of the lab, we still don't know the full details about this."

"Don't you know who you're talking to? I'm a hero to US military when it comes to computers," Andre said in a confident tone.

"Oh, now I remember, you're the kid who managed to stop the hacking of the government's missle projects," Logan said.

"Thanks. At least somebody appreciates my skills."

"And just to improve the analysis, Itzal managed to grab the video footage from the lab," Zeus explained when he notices that the 11 year old boy isn't with him. "Speaking of which, where he is?"

At the corner of the bedroom, Itzal is chatting someone on his RunCom.

"So it's done?" he asked to the person in his RunCom, which it replies. "Alright, thanks. I don't care how many you made, just send it to me through my RunCom, okay? Good, thanks again and see ya."

When he hangs up, he heard Zeus calling him.

"Itzal, we need that video footage from Dixon!"

"Oh, sorry. Here," Itzal said as he hands the tape to Zeus.

"Who was that on your RunCom just now?" Zeus asked in suspicion.

"Just my informer," Itzal sheepishly answered. "Can you analyze all of the clues including enhancing the video, Andre?"

"Yeah, coming up now," Andre said as the video popped up on his laptop's screen showing a shadowy figure with a supercharged guitar, using it destroy the program's containment unit and steal it.

"Okay, enhance and zoom a little," Jordan said.

"Okay, zooming and enhancing 30%."

The footage enhanced and a familiar silhouette was shown.

"Hmm, that looks familiar, sorta," Itzal said. "Andre, enhance and zoom again."

"Zooming 40% and enhancing 50%."

The sillouette became even clearer and closer. Itzal was almost sure that it was familiar, especially the person's hairstyle. Then he saw the figure's right arm.

"Enhance and zoom again. And focus on the right arm"

"Okay enhancing and zooming again," Andre said. The picture cleared and zoomed in on the right arm, and Itzal could see that the arm was mechanical. Suddenly, getting a feeling of deja-vu, Itzal was bombarded by several flashbacks.

Flashback: Itzal saw some flashbacks of Sebastian brainwashing him and his siblings to destroy WOOHP and another set of scenes where they clashed with Sebastian.

"I knew it! I knew it had to be him!" he said in anger.

"Excuse me?" James asked in confusion. "You know that shadow?"

"More like I know the culprit!" Itzal said. "And that is... SEBASTIAN SAGA!"

Hearing this, Jordan shouts out, "WHHHHHHAAAAAAAATTTT!? Sebastian Saga, as in that bitter former guitarist that Sam, Clover, and Alex, including you and your siblings just foiled is behind all this?!"

"I don't have the proof, but I'm positive that he's the guilty party."

"But, you guys said that the evil cult, Black Tundra, recruits bad guys from other worlds," Calla reminded them.

"Also, the guys we just fought are not the footsoldiers. Meaning that he isn't supposed to be here in our world in the first place," Jordan added.

"True, but there are stray portal randomly appearing in those worlds, including ours," Zeus mentioned.

"Stray portals?"

"Portals that are generated when the world is about to plunge into darkness and chaos or there's a glitch in the Data Core. Maybe Sebastian somehow found the portal and wants to rule this world, too. Just like other villains from another worlds when they found another stray portal."

"Well do you have a picture of this guy?," Kendall asked.

"Right here," Itzal said as he pulled Sebastian's profile picture. Upon seeing the picture, BTR breifly recoiled in shock as they recognized him.

"Hey, he looks like that Stringer guy we met earlier today at rehersal," Carlos said.

"Stringer?," Calla asked.

"Stephan Stringer. He promised to give us an endorsement that will take us to Grammy-winning level," Logan said.

"And this Saga guy looks an awful lot like him," James said. "Please tell me they're just twins and not the same person?!"

"I think it's time to pay a visit to your concert manager, Mr. Stinger, or Sebastian, shall we?" Jordan said.

"Well it looks like he's working at a new promotion agency called 'Stringer Superstar Talents'," Andre said after typing on his laptop.

"Then that's where we're going," Jordan said. "And that means all of us, including Andre, Layla, and Katie and you guys."

"Um, why us?," Kendall said. "Aren't you the heroes?"

"Yeah, but if Saga is behind this, he most likely used the stolen program to brainwash your boss and his assistant into acting mean and pushy," Kani said.

"Yeah, and he probably got Mom too," Katie added.

The boys looked at each other and realized that Kani and Katie were right, and if they were, they could be in danger too.

"Good point," Kendall said. "Looks like we're going."

Later on, at a moderate looking office building, a portal opened up, and the Runners, BTR, Andre, Layla, and Katie all zoomed out of it.

"Cool," James said. "You never told us you could do that!"

"You never asked," Zeus said.

"You guys are too cool," Logan said in admiration.

"That we are and a lot more," Bren said with a Cheshire grin.

Before they enter the office, unknown to them, Itzal puts something in their pockets. When they entered it, they saw that it looked to be a normal office with a desk with several pictures a computer and other objects, a chair, several tables with busts, plants and baubles on them, a file cabinet, a bookshelf, and pictures and posters on the walls. In all it seemed like it was a normal office.

"Normal talent scouting office, I dig that," Jordan remarked. "But when it comes to being a hero, I don't want to get fooled by disguised lairs. Try to check the whole office. Files, pictures, strange things, anything. It's bound that there's something that connects to Sebastian."

Everyone then set out searching the office. They fiddled on the computer, pulled books off the shelves, opened the file cabinets and lookd through the files, touched the plants, trying to find something that could prove their theory.

Then, Bren found a picture that somehow looks like a younger version of Sebastian, but without his hair covering his left eye.

"Hmm, handsome devil," he said in a mischievous tone as he picks up a black marker from the desk and draws some comical devil horns and sharp teeth. But when he tries to draw an eyepatch on Sebastian's left eye, his marker unknowingly pushed some kind of secret button on it, revealing a hidden door behind the shelves, much to his shock.

"Whoa, nice job, cuz. For once, your rebel side actually helped us," Jordan said in an impressed tone.

"Heh, didn't know that marker drawings helped us found a secret button," Bren quipped as he and the others entered the secret room behind the shelves.

They all went down a dark stairway. At the bottom they found themselves in a lit, black and sliver toned lair filled with all kinds of machinery.

"Man, evil really knows how to go high tech," Logan said. Just then Calla saw something colorful shining in a corner of the room. She stepped over and gasped at what she saw.

"Hey, everyone," she said as she held up several diamonds, sapphires, and opal jewels. Everyone gasped.

"Looks like we found our jewel thief," Bren said. Kani walked over took several of the jewels and inspected them.

"Yep, these are the stolen jewels, alright," she said.

"But what would Saga want with fancy rocks?," Itzal said in wonder. "That's a little unusual for him."

Suddenly, they heard some muffling sound behind the machines.

"Looks like we're not alone," Jordan said as she checks behind them, revealing to be...

"MOM!" Kendall and Katie shouted in horror as they saw Jennifer Knight tied up and had her mouth covered with a hankerchief.

"Sometimes, I wished that would happened to Jordan. But seeing this made me having some second thoughts," Bren said as Jordan and Itzal got Kendall and Katie's mom out of her bindings.

"Mom, what happened?" Kendall asked in worry.

"That man Stringer, he said he wanted to have a private meeting about you boys outside, so I went with him," Mrs. Knight said.

"So you didn't think it was suspicious at all?," Itzal said in a suspicious tone.

"Not really, I mean he said he wanted to bring the band to the next level. Just then, I was grabbed and blindfolded, and then next thing I found myself here. Thank goodness, though you Runners came to the rescue like the world-traveling kid heroes you are."

"And that's all that happened?," Katie asked.

"Yes, now let's go get the police and fast."

"Right, Mrs. Knight. Just one more thing," Itzal said when he quickly shows his card from his deck box and suddenly shouts out, "Activate, -Stun Net-!"

The card transforms into a net, which it quickly caught Mrs. Knight inside of it while Katie wearing gloves (since she plays ULO and knows about the items in the game) grabs her and ties her up onto a nearby chair as the others became shocked of this.

"Itzal, what's the matter with you?!" Jordan asked in anger.

"Yeah, Katie! Why did you tie up our own mother?!" Kendall added in a same tone.

"She said 'You Runners came to the rescue like the world-traveling kid heroes you are', she didn't even meet us back at Staples Center or didn't heard about the Runners and about us!" Itzal explained. "In fact, BTR didn't mentioned 'world-traveling kid heroes' either."

"And like I said, big bro. Mom could be brainwashed already, so when I see Itzal is being suspicious at Mom, I knew something's up," Katie added. "Who knew watching many cartoons involving deception and brainwashing could be useful after all?"

"And my mind control abilities," Itzal put in as he turns to his friends. "I forgot to mention, not only I have resistance to mind control, but I can detect one. Only con is that I can't detect more people with mind control if they're far away or something's blocking it."

"Nice job, Runner. Too bad you just fell for a second trap!" Mrs. Knight said as some kind of cannon behind the gang fired some kind of net, which Zeus noticed with his Battle Premonition.

"Guys! Behind u-"

Before he can warn them, Itzal quickly pushes him out, which the floor quickly gives off a huge electric shock, hurting him in the process.

"Itzal!" Zeus shouted in worry. "Dang, I wouldn't able to save him if my vision haven't cut off in 10 seconds!"

As the electricity disperses around Itzal, the net captured Andre, Layla, Kani, and Amica.

"You're ability needs work!" Andre complained as he and the others try to get out of the net as Jordan and Zeus rushed to Itzal's aid.

"Itzal!" Jordan shouted in worry as Itzal's body disperses in black and blue data, leaving his featureless black body in his underwear before it breaks off of him, revealing Tony Clark himself in his usual casual attire.

"Whoa, what happened!" Logan asked in shock.

"Like in ULO, when his avatar HP hits zero, he was forced to log out," Zeus said.

"In other words, he changed back to normal," Jordan finished before turning to Tony. "T, are you okay?"

"I think so," Tony groaned as he sat up and looked at his RunCom, which the screen now says, -TIME LIMIT TO REVIVE: 15 MINUTES-. "Great, now I need to recharge."

"Too bad you won't have the chance," a sinister voice said. Everyone turned and saw Stringer, a.k.a. none other than…

"Sebastian Saga!," Jordan and Itzal said.

"In the flesh, and then some," Saga said, holding up his mechanical arm as he said the latter. "And I'm gonna blow you away!"

With that Sebastian raised his guitar and strummed a powerful note, sending a shock wave which blew everybody into the wall knocking them all out cold.

"I just love that old time rock and roll," he cackled evilly as he observed over the knocked out Runners, Big Time Rush and their friends.
