A/N: Hey guys! This is one episode you can't skip, because it will turn the whole story of UR around! So what are you waiting for? Let's get online with a new shocking episode!

Secrets Amuck!: Part 1

It was a regular day–for those who would consider it regular– in the city of Schwarz in Unitas, within Universal Legends Online. Players everywhere were just doing regular in-game things: battling, going on quests, collecting items, entering tournaments, etc. No one had realized that a mysterious looking avatar wearing a red cloak had slipped up unnoticed to a large building. On the front door to the building, there was a sign that said: AUTHORIZED PERSONAL ONLY!

The avatar's hand glowed a red aura and he plunged it into the door's security lock. Within seconds, the lock began recalibrating, and the avatar smirked.

"Soon, I'll be inside the admins headquarters, and this game will be mine for the taking," he said with a sneer

Suddenly, an alarm sounded; the building had apparently detecting the hacking and alerted security.

"Curses!"

Just then Lilith Shroud appeared with a group of NP security avatars.

"You! Freeze!," she shouted.

"No. You, burn!" he snarled back as he flung a fire attack at them. Lilith quickly used her power to create a shield to protect herself and the security avatars.

The avatar then sped off with the Lilith and the NPCs in pursuit. They went in on a fast-speed chase through the streets of Schwarz, zooming through stores, knocking over avatars, and causing damage to several buildings.

Eventually, the avatar took out a red ball and threw it ahead of him. The ball exploded on impact, creating a portal in which the avatar flew into. The portal then closed up just before Lilith and the NPCs could reach it.

"Who was that guy and why'd he tried to get in the admins HQ?," the Lead NPC asked in wonder

"I don't know, those things but I do know one thing: I'll need the Runners on this," Lilith said in determination.

Later, in the Waters household at night, instead of playing her favorite online game or her other games, Jordan is playing her favorite trumpet because ULO is currently under maintenance and her consoles' controllers and her GX Portable is currently charging. Annoyed by her trumpet, Bren, who is near her sitting at the counter, plugs it with a nearby apple.

"Do you mind? Look, I'm trying to work here!" Bren said annoyed, as he continued coloring a page from a coloring book. "I found a sucker to pay me to do his homework for him."

Jordan took a closer look, then laughed as she said, "You're coloring in a dinosaur!"

"Yeah, he's in kindergarten," Bren said as he showed the page to Jordan.

"Bren, you're not even staying within the lines," Jordan said a little worried, but still chuckling.

"You get what you pay for!," Bren said in defense. Just then, Jordan father Ricky, came into the kitchen.

"Hello, Jordan," he said.

"Oh, hi Daddy," Jordan greeted her father.

"Guess what your getting, sugar plum?"

"A new video game?!"

"Nope."

"An electric guitar?!"

"Try again."

"A wide-screen plasma TV?"

"Uh-uh."

"I give up then. What am I getting?"

"A tutor!"

"Say what?," Jordan said, stunned.

"Got your report card today," Ricky said as he pulled out a slip of paper and showed it to her. "Your grades are mostly good right now, especially in Math and Art. However, your grade in English/Literature has slipped below a "C". Hence, why you need a tutor."

He then shows her the report card.

"Oh. Well I don't see what the big deal about English/ Literature is anyhow," Jordan said. "My math grade is good and that's a rarity for most kids."

Bren, at the doorway, snidely quipped, "Please, the only reason you study math is to count all the video games in your collection and all your imaginary friends from 3rd grade."

"Big talk from the 12-year old doing a kindergarteners homework," Jordan retorted. Bren opened his mouth as if to say something but says nothing. Jordan turned back to her dad. "Besides I can make stories and poems without that class."

"Oh yeah," Ricky said as he took out a piece of paper. "Here's a poem you wrote a few weeks ago."

He then recited the poem:

Red, white, pink, and blue

I didn't stink like a flu

I see time in a clock

Even toads and locks

Jordan, stunned at what she wrote, said humbly, "Okay maybe I do need some help."

"Are you kidding?!," Bren sneered. "That poem was so horrible, you'll need to review her ABCs just to start the recovery of your grade."

As Bren laughed out loud, Jordan, annoyed, threw the apple he stuck in her trumpet at him and hit him in the head

"OW!," he said as he left.

The next day at Fils-Ame Moffitt School, Jordan is still worried about yesterday as she is currently eating with her friends.

"Don't worry, Jordan," Kani said trying to comfort her friend. "Having a tutor isn't so bad."

"Bad? Try having one who turns off my computer while I'm currently in a mission in ULO!," Jordan said somewhat frantically. "What am I going to do? I don't have the power to change my Dad's mind."

Zeus suddenly got an idea as he suggested, "How about suggesting him to let me be your tutor?"

"Won't work. My Dad is pretty paranoid about boys except Bren, remember?," Jordan reminded him. "In fact, he was so paranoid about you visiting me a lot, he puts up a security system to lock you out."

"Come on, you're just exaggerating."

Jordan stared at him in a serious manner. "He put your name as the system's main target to keep out."

"Oh...," Zeus said in realization and surprise.

"Until I can convince my Mom to get rid of that stupid security system, you're in restraining order from my house for now. Right now, how can I able to pass Literature without a home tutor bugging me or taking me out of missions?"

As Jordan is in deep thought, the other UR club members noticed Lena and her posse setting up some kind of projector in front of the cafeteria.

"Hey, check out Lena and her followers," Bren said.

"What are they doing," Itzal asked in wonder.

Lena, using a megaphone, said to the whole student body, "Attention everyone, this is Lena Baker, your all-time most popular queen bee."

"She's as sweet as lemons!," Sierra said quirkily.

"It's 'sweet as honey', Sierra."

"But honey is sticky,"

Lena rolled her eyes as she continued, "Anyways, I'm here to show some of my crowning achievements to our student body."

She firsts shows a video of her crowning of homecoming queen.

"Here's me being crowned as Fils-Ame Moffitt Homecoming Queen... three times in a row!"

She then switched to a footage of her with a collage of her pictures behind her.

"Here's me winning the most photogenic girl in school... five times in a row."

She then showed her embracing the football teams' quarterback, Chuck Foley after a victory.

"Here's me with my boyfriend Chuck after leading our team to victory in last year's championship… which was our 4th in a row."

She then showed when she was being inaugurated as Student Body President.

"Here's my inauguration as Student Body President…for the third time in a row."

Bren, now bored, whispered to the others with a chuckle, "What's next? Winning most annoying girl in school 100 times in a row?"

"And this is back in middle school when my ex-BFF Calla sang that karaoke version of nursery rhymes– Oops how'd that get there?"

The video of Calla singing nursery rhymes, like Itsy Bitsy Spider, Rock-A-Bye Baby, and Jack and Jill played as everyone watched in shock Calla gasps in horror and stomps up to Lena angrily.

"You promised that that video would never see the light of day!," Calla snapped.

"That was when we were BFFs. But since were not anymore, that promise is, like, totally null and void," Lena said as she turned back to everyone in the cafeteria. "Hey everyone, here she is, the nursery rhyme idol, Calla Gale!"

Everyone (except the other Runners) started laughing at Calla who then ran off crying, much to the Runner's anger.

A few minutes later, the gang was able to find Calla crying on the bench, which Jordan comforts her as she takes a seat next to her.

"Calla, I know about some comfort words may backfire like in cartoons, so I'll keep it short and simple: Don't let a little embarrassing footage of you ruin your life," she said.

Calla, still crying, said, "How can you be so sure?"

"I'm your friend. I accept your flaws, including the others," Jordan gestured to the others as she suspiciously glared at Bren. "Right, Bren?"

Bren is still laughing at the video until Kani angrily knocks him on the head.

"He understands," she said

"Besides, I won't forgive Lena for this. Until she says sorry to you, I'll make sure she will find the meaning of "karma"! I promise!"

"Are you sure?" Calla said, unsure.

"Cross my heart."

"Thanks, Jordan," Calla said and the two friends hugged. "I'm so lucky to have you as my BFF."

"Me too," Jordan said.

Then, their RunComs suddenly rang as Zeus answers it first.

"Hello, Zeus here," he answered.

"Can't explain now, just get to Schwarz now and I'll explain there," Lilith ordered. "Don't ask questions!"

"But…"

"I SAID NO QUESTIONS!"

Lilith then hung up, leaving the Runners in wonder about her behavior.

"Yeesh! What's with her all of the sudden?," Bren quipped.

"I don't know," Jordan said. "But judging by her tone, it sounds serious. Let's log in to Schwarz and check what's going on at the admin building. Andre, Layla, guard the club room until we log out."

"You can count on us!," Andre said with a salute.

"We'll do our best!," Layla said as she turned to Calla. "And don't worry, Calla! I accept you, no matter what!"

Calla wiped her tears, as she said, "Thanks, guys."

"All right, Runners! Let's get online!," Jordan said as everyone headed to the club room.

As they arrived in Schwarz, they quickly use their enhanced speed to get to their destination in a short time. There, they saw some NPC security and other Runners investigating the robbery while Lilith is standing near the entrance to wait for the Runners.

"Lilith, we're here!," Jordan called out.

Lilith, noticing the Runners, said, "Oh, just in time. I'm glad you're here."

"You can start on what just happened in here," Itzal said as he noticed the crime site.

"Somebody tried to break into the admin zone here, by implanting a virus on the security lock. Luckily the system detected the hack and alerted us before the crook could enter."

"Did you see who it was?," Kani asked.

"Someone with a blood red cloak. And their element was Fire. We chased him but he ducked through a portal before we could catch him."

Kani examined the security lock, and she found…

"Viral data traces. Sounds to me like you got a Grade-A hacker to me."

"This guy could have been with the Black Tundra," Bren said with a serious tone.

"It's possible, but I personally doubt that," Lilith said back.

"Well, you did say that random troublemakers usually come around here from time to time, so it's possible that…maybe…," Jordan theorized.

"Jordan, this is not some random troublemaker," Kani pointed out. "This guy has experience."

"Which is why we must track him down, before he strikes again," Zeus added.

"Maybe we should look into our rogue's gallery to see if any of them have anything to do with it," Jordan suggested.

"Great idea. And think you can trace the viral data?," Itzal asked Lilith.

"Maybe… we'll try," she said.

"Well you should get started now," Calla said. "And maybe we can get Andre could help, too."

"Meanwhile, we need to get back to school," Bren informed them. "We've got our own fish to fry. And by fish, I mean Lena."

After the short investigation and school, the Runners are walking home together with Andre and Layla at downtown California.

"Can you able to trace it, Andre?," Kani asked.

Andre, looking at the viral data through his tablet computer, answered, "Are you kidding? Tracking hackers is my specialty! Although, I can focus a lot better if Calla gets rid of that ridiculous paper bag on her head."

They later saw Calla with the bag that Andre just mentioned.

"Although I'll whack him for that comment, he's right," Jordan told her BFF, worried. "You can't hide in a paper bag forever."

"How could I?," Calla said in worry. "If anyone from our school sees me, I can never ever go out from my mansion again!"

"Although I would laugh at you with that bag right now, my cousin's right," Bren said in a determined tone. "You can't let that snobby Lena win!"

"Yeah, you are the second, most smartest, beautiful girl I know Calla," Itzal complemented. "Don't let one embarrassment ruin your life."

"I suppose you're right," Calla said before realizing, "And did you say second most?"

"Yes."

"Who's the first?," Jordan asked.

"Take a wild guess," Itzal said slyly as he raised his eyebrows at Jordan. Almost immediately, she realized he meant her and giggled while blushing , they passed some kids at the playground as they overheard their conversation.

"Have you seen that latest episode of Pokemon lately?," one kid asked. "I have got to get that Pokemon in my game!"

"Me too! I really like Ash and his Pokemon, especially his Pikachu!," a second kid said.

"Yeah, Pikachu is my favorite too. And I like Misty too," a third kid said.

"I think that new girl Iris is better," said the second kid

"And one thing we all know is that Ash is way better than Gary Oak is, was, or ever will be," said the first kid.

"Yeah, that guys a jerk," the third kid pointed out.

"More like a joke!," laughed the second.

Hearing this, Zeus became very angry at what they said.

"Did they call him a what?!," he thought to himself as he angrily rushed over the kids.

"Yo, Z!," Bren called out. "What's the matter with you?"

As the kids continue their conversation, Zeus angrily marches over to them.

"Hey!," he said angrily. "You can't talk about Gary like that!"

"So what?," the third boy said. "That guy is a snob, he's always with his cheerleaders and stuff. Plus, he's got his butt kicked by Ash because of his attitude."

"Yeah, but he's changed after that!"

"Please he's probably the same jerk deep down inside," the first boy said. "And anyone who like him is a big fat moron, just like he is!"

That remark finally sent Zeus over the edge, and he lunged at the boy, grabbing his shirt. The boy grabbed his hair in return, trying to push him away. They struggled for a while, and then Zeus threw the kid to the ground and stepped on his head. Jordan, Itzal, and Bren then ran over and pulled him aside and off of the kid.

"Dude, what's wrong with you?!," Bren snapped angrily.

"Yeah, you almost hurt that kid!," Bren said also angry.

"Nobody disses Gary like that! Nobody!," Zeus roared still enraged.

"What do you care about it?," Itzal asked.

"I care a lot. You have no idea!"

"Well, we might if you tell us…," Calla said softly.

"It's none of your business, Cal. Now if you excuse me, I'm going home now!"

Zeus then stormed off, leaving the gang shocked by his changed of attitude.

"Yeesh, what's with him so suddenly?," Bren asked, puzzled.

"I know, why is he suddenly acting like this?," Kani added.

As the Runners left the playground, Jordan stops for a second and stares at where Zeus just left, which made her remember what he said during the anime convention incident.

Zeus: I felt the same way as you, Jordan. But unlike you, I'm very furious at those evil sons of witches. I'll never forgive them! I will not rest until that world is saved!

As Jordan continues to stares into the distance, she heard her cousin's calls to her.

"Zeus... Why are you so angry?," Jordan asked herself as she left, worried about her friend.

Later, at Jordan's house, Jordan walked in the door, to find her father sitting on the couch looking at papers.

"Hey Daddy. What are you looking at?," she asked.

"Applications for your new tutor," Ricky answered.

Jordan groaned as she remembered the tutor thing.

"Right," she said as she tried to reason with her father. "Come on Dad. What if I promised I'd cut back on my video games and all that and studied English and Literature to "B" standards?"

"And how many times have you promised that same thing?," he asked back.

"Quite a few."

"And how many times have you come home with a "C" or less?"

"All of them," she said with a sigh.

"Exactly my point of why you need a tutor."

"You know, You know, you never had to do this with Conway."

"Because your brother was a whiz in English. Wish you had his Lit smarts."

"Guess I was just wired differently."

Outside of their house, Zeus is secretly sneaking into their backyard, hoping to meet up with Jordan. Zeus hopped and climbed over the fence, but as soon as his feet touched the grass an alarm sounded and two mechanical arms tried to grab at him. Zeus, using his skilled dodged them and jumped back over the fence just in time.

Next, Zeus tried knocking on a sidedoor. However, Ricky had connected the system to that door as well and the alarm sounded. Then a large cannon popped out and started shooting tranquilizer darts at him. He dodged them and ran off immediately.

Finally, Zeus just tried the front door as usual thinking they'd never do set the front entrance against him. But he was proven wrong as the alarm sounded and two cages with vicious Dobermans in them were unlocked and opened. Zeus ran as the dogs chased after him.

"Wow, she was right! Clearly, her dad has gone way off the deep end with his paranoia," he said as he continued to run.

At Jordan's bedroom, she is still disappointed at her Dad getting her a tutor as she lies down on her bed.

"If only I was a whiz English and Lit like Conway or Zeus I wouldn't need get a tutor," she groaned. Just then she realized something. "Now that I think about it, there's something familiar about Zeus ever since I met him, but I can't quite place it. Is it appearance, his personality, or his hobbies?"

She tried to think for a minute, but ended up getting a headache from thought overdose.

"Ugh! I can't think straight, it not only the tutor situation, it's Itzal, too!" she sighed. "How can I show my feelings to him?"

Just then she got an idea. "I'll just call him."

She then picks up her Runner and about to use the Com Holo-Link app, but due to her shyness, she wasn't able to.

"AAGGHH! I can't do it!," she screamed. "Oh man, why does asking a boy is really hard than asking him in person? I mean, he's Tony Clark, for crying out loud! He's my favorite character of all time! But somehow, I just can't..."

Suddenly, she was interrupted by her RunCom ringing, which she was startled for a bit.

Jordan quickly recovered from her shock and answered the RunCom "Hello?"

"Aquilla! Get your team to Schwarz immediately! Another robbery is currently occured!" Tina shouted.

Then, Kani's face appeared on the screen with a worried expression on her face.

"Hang on! Andre isn't finished tracking down the hacker yet!," she informed Tina

"I'm afraid there's no time. Convert Log-In to Schwarz right now! That's an order!"

With that Tina hung up, leaving Jordan and Kani worried.

"Looks like we got no choice," Jordan told Kani. "Call the other Runners! It's time to get online!"

It's already night time at Schwarz as the Universal Runners meet up with each other after they logged in.

"Got the hacker's location?," Jordan asked.

"Yeah, looks like it's going to the same location as yesterday," Kani informed. "I suggest we trap him!"

"And I think I got an idea," Itzal said as he opened up a holographic map. "According to the admin map that Lilith gave us, there should be 5 entrances hidden through the center of the Schwarz."

"Wait, five?," Bren questioned. "There are 6 of us, how can all of us are able to ambush the hacker?"

"It's okay, I have a special ability to move through a dark area to another, remember?"

"That's fair, and give us an advantage, too," Zeus pointed out.

"And it will give us more advantage if Bren use his sneaking skills to ambush the hacker, with Lilith's permission of course," Jordan added.

"Ha! Sneaking is my middle name, just try to keep up with me," Bren said excitedly.

Then, Kani's map suddenly sets off an alarm.

"Looks like he's at the hallways," she said. "Time to move out!"

Then, the Runners split up to put their plan to action.

Meanwhile, at the admin center, the hacker had managed to infiltrate the main information center.

"Excellent, I'm in!," he sneered. He looked around and saw the main computer. Ah, just what I'm here for!

He walked over to it and inserted a flashdrive-like device into the main drive. The device accessed the files of the admins and starts downloading them. Once it finished downloading, the hacker removed the device from the drive.

"Now to escape!," he said.

Before the hacker could escape however, he suddenly saw a crystal fell down from the ceiling.

"What the–?"

The crystal suddenly exploded, leaving a crystal wall in it's place, blocking the avatar's escape path.

"No fair!"

Before he can think up another plan, Jordan, Zeus, Calla, and Kani came out of their hiding places, surrounding the hacker.

"More like 'Yes fair'! In the name of the Black and White Union, you're surrounded!," Jordan declared.

"Not for long," the hacker said as he threw some fireballs at the Runners, but they were blocked by a firewall made by Bren and Itzal's scythe, which they were able to join them in time.

"Sorry, dude! But I'm also playing with fire and I'm better at it!," Bren gloated.

"Looks like you're out of options, hacker," Itzal said.

"You have an option of surrender and give us your real-life location or prepare for account banishment!," Zeus warned the hacker.

"One, I can just create a new account, being a hacker," he said snidely. "And two, I have a third option: Run away."

With a burst of super speed, he then sped right into Jordan and Zeus, knocking them both down, and sped out of the building. The Runners then chased after him. The seven avatars sped rapidly through several streets and buildings and eventually reached a construction site, where a new attraction was being built. Seeing a crane suddenly gave the Hacker an idea. With one quick move, he drew a blood red sword and slashed at the lower half of the crane, causing to start to tip over to fall into the streets below.

"Well what's it gonna be, Runners? My apprehension or a bunch of innocent lives? he said as he flew away and out of sight.

"Dude, ruthless!," Bren said.

"You stop the crane! I'll go after him!," Zeus said. As the others rushed to stop the crane from falling, he zoomed after the hacker.

Not long after, as the hacker hides at in an alley, he scans around the area to see if any more Runners are following him, which he sighs in relief upon seeing none. But when he turns around, he saw Zeus's smirking face.

"Boo," the Light Runner said , the hacker tries to escape, but a brick wall blocked him."Sorry, hacker. But you're trapped and there's nothing you can do to escape."

"Please, nobody traps Davey Hacker! Davey Hacker traps you!," the hacker said.

"Davey Hacker?!," Zeus asked puzzled, before remembering. "I know who. You are an enemy of WOOHP's."

"Good thing, Itzal showed me his rogue's gallery on his MPCOM," he said to himself before turning back to Davey. "Well Davey, you might as well give up! Because there's no way to escape!"

"Oh yes there is, because you are gonna let me escape… Professor!"

Zeus was suddenly startled at what Davey had called him.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me. I was looking over the information I stole from the admin station and I came across your file here. Very interesting. And I take it none of your friends know your little secret?"

Zeus stood there silently, not saying a word.

"I suppose that's no. Well, imagine what they'll say once they find out…"

"You wouldn't dare!," Zeus snapped.

"Oh yes, I would," Davey sneered. "Unless you'd be willing to stay out of my way and throw your friends off my trail?"

Zeus stood glaring at him angrily.

"So that's my proposition: get your friends of my case or have your secret revealed."

He then used another of his red balls to open a portal.

"Think about it."

Davey Hacker hops through the portal, which closes up right afterwards, leaving and angry and worried Zeus alone in the alley.
