It had been two months since Jane's birthday, asoon as Jane woke up at Maura's she headed home almost straight away with a quick sorry and a small smile to Maura.

Now Jane and Frost were sat on Jane's bed looking at BCU.

"SO you gonna go here then ay" Frost asked looking at their facilities.

"Yeah, Im excited, can't wait. Three months then Im there" Jane said with a small laugh.

"You're missing Maura"

Jane responded quickly "What no! I haven't thought about here since my birthday, I can barley remember what she looks like anyway" Jane said with a small shrug

"She'll be proud of you" Frost replied smiling

"For what" Jane frowned

"Going to BCU"
"I haven't got in yet"

"No, but you will, I know you will Rizzoli"

"Thanks Frost"

It was two weeks before the new year started. Jane, Frost, Maddie and a couple of other Jane's friends got accepted into BCU. Jane and Frost were doing Law and forensic science. They had already had there open day and were even more eager to join than they were before.

Jane, Frost and the rest of there small group had gone away for two weeks to California for a holiday and then a week to Canada. Frost insisted he payed for Jane's fee to Canada, knowing she'd insist to pay him back when she had enough money.

Jane was proud of herself as she had managed to get a summer job at the local cafe. She remembered Maura always used to go there and now thought she had moved since she hadn't seen here there.

Maybe she found out I work here and now goes elsewhere. Jane thought to herself as she stood behind the counter distracted as to what Frost was talking about.

"Jane" Frost almost shouted Jane's name for the fourth time.

"Sorry, what" Jane said shaking herself back to reality

"Thought you had moved on"

"How did you know I was thinking about M"

"Your eyes give it away" Frost replied taking a sip of his coffee

"What, that's not possible" Jane said frowning at her friend

"Yes it is" Jane looked up to see Maura stood not so far away from Frost.

"This conversation doesn't concern you" Jane said almost coldly

"Can I have a skinny latte please" Maura asked not wanting to stir up an argument

"Sure, want rejection in that too" Jane said setting to work on the latte

Maura rolled her eyes.

"Ignore her" Frost piped up. "She's been like it since she started working here. You look like you've got a tan, been away" Frost asked politely to his former teacher.

"I have yes, I went to Australia to see an old friend of mine" Maura answered smiling

Jane returned with Maura's latte and placed it on the counter. "Four bucks please"

"It's not four bucks Jane" Maura said handing over two one dollar notes.

"Hm, whatever" Jane said accepting the money and putting it in the cache

"I'll see you around" Maura said picking her latte up

"See ya Miss" Frost replied

"Hope not" Jane said as Maura headed out of the building

"What is your problem" Frost asked with seriousness in his voice

"I don't have a problem" Jane replied wiping down the sides.
