hey guys! sorry for not updating in months! I've had exams but they are finally over! OMG how did y'all enjoy the s5 premier? i love it! but i cried sooo much at the end! when Jane and Maura hugged i wanted to fangirl but couldn't bring myself to do it. "Frost, Maura hasn't been in lessons for a week...maybe I shouldn't have said anything or teased her...maybe she quit and rang away again" Jane sighed sitting down at a table in the cafeteria at BCU coffee in hand.

"I doubt it Jane, maybe she's just come down with something...she wouldn't have quite, you've got enough Rizzoli charm to make her stay"

"Ya reckon"

"Yeah I do"

"Well I'm supposed to have her next so she best be in...I need something to cheer me up on this boring Monday!"

Frost laughed. "Well you're in luck there she is"

"What"

Jane quickly whipped her head round to the dinner line to see Maura stood there in the usual just above the knee length dress with four inch heals.

"Holy shit she looks sexy in that red dress...red is definitely the Dr.s' color"

"I say...although she's not really my type I have an eye on someone"

"Ouh who" Jane quickly asked looking back to her best friend.

"Look first Jane I have to tell you something"

"What you're gay?"

"Bi actually" Frost half laughed

"hah! I knew it! So who is the guy?"
"What? Who even said it was a guy"

"I'm not stupid frost"

"Ok fine, yanoe Guy Spender"

"Pretty eye boy?"

"Yes him...me and him have been talking for about a week"

"Awh Frost that's great, I'm happy for you man"

"Thanks...I have a date with him this saturday night"

"What this saturday? What Frost no it's game night I have no-one to watch it with now"

"Red Sox will win easy, plus ask Maura I'm sure she'd be more than happy to join you"
"I doubt it"
"Never say never"

"What so you're Just Bieber now"

"Shut up"

Half an hour later the pair headed to class. As usual Jane and Frost took their seats at the back of the classroom.

"Maura seems edgy today" Jane whispered

"I guess...she sure isn't herself"

"Well we know it's not me because I've been no where near her so im innocent"

"Yeah first and last time"
"Hey, not cool"

Frost smirked before turning his head to listen to what Dr. Isles was instructing them to do.

After a long and painful two hours of Jane not been able to flirt with Maura the bell finally rang.

"Ill meet you at the car Frost"

"ok, have fun" he said with a wink and left.

"Maur..I mean , you haven't been in for a week, everything ok?" Jane asked walking up the teachers desk where she sat head in hands

"No..yes..it doesn't matter" Maura replied standing up to pack the equipment away

"Here let me help you" Jane said quickly following Maura to where the first experiment was set up.
"Thankyou" Maura whispered

"So, wanna tell me what's up? You seemed different all lesson...anything I can help with?" Jane asked concerned

"No just forget about it please"
"Maura please I care about you, you can tell me if.."
"Jane! I said stop!" Maura shouted followed by a shatter of glass.

"Maur..im so sorry..i..i never meant to upset you"

"It's not your fault.." Maura choked out before breaking down into tears, Jane quickly stepped forwards and caught Maura in her arms and pulled her in for a tight hug.

A couple of minutes later Maura's tears subsided. "I..I'm sorry I got your top wet Jane"

"Hey, don't worry about it...it's only tears"

"yeah.."

The pair took a seat and Jane began to rub Maura's back.

"So.."

"If I tell you what's up will you promise not to tell anyone?"

"I promise...I have no-one to tell it to anyway"

"Frost"

"I promise not to tell him"

"Good...thankyou. Last Saturday night my ex showed up at my house. My ex boyfriend not ex girlfriend. I hadn't seen him in three years. I thought I'd never have to see him again. He showed up at about half nine, I opened the door and he walked in. I didn't have enough strength to stop him. He started shouting some bullshit about something I wasn't really listening I couldn't listen. I was to bust remembering everything bad that happened when I was with him. He said something about his new girlfriend splitting up with him because she found out about the rape charge with me."

"wait what!?" Jane quickly interrupted "Maura you never told me this...is that why...when..Oh god Maura I am so fucking sorry"

"Jane don't apologize...I was fine..I wanted to but you weren't eighteen yet otherwise I would have...you've been the only person I've trusted since then. Anyway, I tried to stand up for myself, I was about to call you but he threw a punch...and he had me pinned up against a wall holding me by my wrists. I was terrified I didn't know what was going to happen next, I just kept on having flash backs. A minute later he heard next doors dog barking and he ran. I cried and cried for hours...I didn't leave my house until Tuesday to get more alcohol...I drank on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night...It was bad. That's why I wasn't in...I was out of it...I just stayed in my slacks all week...I got myself together on Saturday and went for a run and came in today feeling better"

"But not one hundred percent? Maura why didn't you call me after he left...once you'd stopped crying or something? He can't get away with this"

"It was two in the morning by the time i was emotionally stable enough to call you...It was too late...it's too late Jane he already has"
"Maura you can call me whatever time it is ok, eight in the morning or three in the morning or eleven at night I don't care, I will come over or get you whatever you need, ok? I'll always be here"

"Thankyou, Jane seriously thankyou. I don't know who else I would've spoken to about this"
"Yano there's a councilor"

"Do you see her"

"Yeah...I got transferred to her"
"I think she has enough trouble with you alone"

"HEY! Cheeky!"

Maura laughed for the first time in a week.

"What do you see her for..if you don't mind me asking"

"That's a story for a different time. Now c'mon lets get the rest of this cleared up and I'll take you home" Jane pulled out her phone quickly to let Frost know he could go home.

twenty minutes later after tidying up, Maura grabbed her bag and her and Jane walked to her car. Jane got in the drivers side and Maura the passengers.

They soon arrived back at the teachers house, heading inside Jane made Maura and herself a coffee and joined the teacher on the couch.

"Thankyou"

"So what do you want to do, talk more? watch a film, or in your case a documentary?"

"You're willing to watch a documentary?"
"Yes" Jane laughed

"That's sweet...I'd rather just drink this and lay down"

"Ok...want me to go after drinking this"

"No...stay, I need someone to hold me"

"Oh cause...whatever you need" Maura smiled up at Jane and in that moment she knew she would be spending the rest of her life with a Rizzoli but not just any Rizzoli..Jane Rizzoli.

After drinking there (decaffeinated) coffee's Jane headed to get a blanket. sitting back down on the cough she pulled Maura in and then both shuffled down. Wrapping her arm around Maura from behind Jane leaned forwards and pressed her lips to Maura's temple as she closed her eyes.
