At the Phoenix Dawn guild hall in the Guild Master's office, Blaise was sitting at her desk with her elbows on it and her face in her hands.

*Within the span of only a few days, we lost the lives of two of my children.* She thought to herself. *I just hope that the Dragon Slayers are able to defeat Alexander once and for all.*

Sakura, Jayden, Frost and Lionel were walking on the path to the Lexus Estate with Flora, Cole and Volt following them.

"That bumhole is going to pay for what he did to our parents!" Sakura growled. "… And Kuroko… And Jason…"

Sakura stopped walking, making everyone else stop too, and she turned to look at Jayden straight in the face.

"What-" Jayden said.

"I want to make something clear." Sakura said with a serious tone and look on her face. "Say all you want about how you and Jason are the same, but the truth is you're not. You're not Jason. We accept you as our guild mate, we accept you as our friend, but we'll never accept you as a replacement for Jason. Not for me, not for Spiral, not for Master Blaise and especially not for Kagura."

"… You're right." Jayden said. "No matter how many times I say it, it doesn't change that Jason and I have completely different personalities, as well as memories. You all got to know him for nearly a year. I shouldn't expect you to accept me like that. Though I can understand where you're coming from. Even if you guys are my new family, none of you can replace Oceari."

"… All right." Sakura said. "I'm glad we came to an understanding."

As Sakura continued walking forward, Jayden started whispering to Frost.

"Is she always like this?" Jayden asked.

"No, not even when I point out her flat chest she's not this pissed." Frost whispered back.

"I'm a Dragon Slayer! I can hear you!" Sakura called out on them.

The two stopped talking and continued following her.

"I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that one old man was able to kill Albion like that." Lionel said.

"I saw that dragon-controlling magic that clone used." Frost said. "After he used it on me, I can actually believe he could do that."

"But you killed him, right?" Lionel asked. "All we've got to do is find that asshole and kill him so his clones will vanish with him. Should be a piece of cake if he's got no magic."

"I don't think it's going to be as simple as that." Jayden said. "I bet he already knows that we took out one of his clones and-"

"Guys…" Sakura said as she sniffed the air around her. "I know we're close to the mansion, but… For some reason I smell blood… Lots of it…"

The Dragon Slayers and Exceeds all looked at each other for a few seconds before running off toward the direction of the Lexus estate. As they got closer to the front gates, something horrifying became clearer.

"God…" Flora quietly gasped.

Countless corpses of Rune Knights were lying on the ground. They appeared to have been charred, crushed and mutilated with very little signs of resistance.

"H… help…"

Jayden rushed toward the sound of the groan and saw a Rune Knight whose lower half of his body was being crushed by a giant boulder.

"Hold on, I'll get you out!" Jayden said. "Lie down."

Jayden formed a blade of water on his right forearm and used it to slice off most of the boulder. With most of the boulder's mass separated, Jayden was able to lift what remained of the boulder off of the Rune Knight only to find that his legs were flattened to the point where they were nothing but red flesh, blood and bone shards.

"Thank you…" The Rune Knight said before he died from blood loss.

Jayden closed the Rune Knight's eyes and stood up.

"What the hell could have taken out an entire battalion of Rune Knights?" Lionel asked.

"Yeah, I thought Alexander couldn't use magic." Cole said.

"His clones must have come back from whatever mission he sent them on." Jayden said. "We better hurry before they merge with him."

"Forest Dragon Oak Crash!"

Sakura surrounded her body in cherry blossom petals and charged right into the front gates, knocking them down in one hit.

"I know his smell better than anyone else here, so I'll track down his scent." Jayden said.

Jayden sniffed the air around him. The blood from the dead Rune Knights interfered a little bit, but he was still able to catch Alexander's scent.

"Follow me!" Jayden said. "Flora, Cole, Volt, I want you to search the mansion and make sure the other Lexus's are okay. Alexander's the one responsible for this; everyone else is innocent."

"Got it!" Flora saluted.

"Thanks for giving us the easy job." Cole said.

"That's no fun…" Volt sighed.

The Exceeds flew off while the Dragon Slayers ran inside the mansion.

The Dragon Slayers kept running until they arrived in a huge ballroom where Alexander was waiting for them, now wearing a white cloak and pants.

"I never thought any of this would happen." Alexander said. "I kept everything as discrete and conspicuous as possible and I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling Dragon Slayers."

"Why does that sound like an in-joke?" Jayden asked.

"Because you reported my acts to the Magic Council, the lives of countless Rune Knights had to be taken." Alexander continued. "Those deaths are all because of your choices."

"No!" Sakura shouted. "You're the only villain in all this!"

"Sakura's right!" Frost said. "You killed four dragons, those Rune Knights out there and two of our close friends!"

"Regardless of your opinions, I know for a fact whose fault it is for the next four people I'll kill."

Alexander tossed his cloak to the side and his muscles began to bulge as there was a sudden burst of magic power emanating from him.

"Yours!" Alexander shouted.

Alexander charged at them at an incredible speed. The four Dragon Slayers rolled to the side and barely avoided the attack as he crashed into the wall, creating a large, gaping hole where the doors to the ballroom used to be.

"Crap, he must have already merged with his clones!" Jayden said.

"But what kind of magic did they use?" Lionel asked.

"And on top of that, how many?" Frost wondered.

Alexander grabbed Jayden by the throat and held him up as electricity began to course through his arm.

"Lightning Dragon Burst!" Alexander shouted.

An explosion of electricity burst from Alexander's hand and blast Jayden back a few feet.

"This is the magic I granted one of my clones after I extracted the Lightning Dragon's magic energy." Alexander stated.

"How dare you use Albion's magic?!" Lionel shouted furiously. He jumped up into the air with his fists generating large amounts of electricity. "Lightning Dragon Raging Fist!"

Lionel threw out a series of rapid punches at Alexander, but he remained still and took all of his attacks without even flinching.

"… You are annoying." Alexander said. "Earth Dragon Warhammer!"

Rocks engulfed Alexander's right arm and he slugged Lionel in the face with it, sending him crashing into the wall.

"Did you take that from another dragon, jerkwad?!" Sakura growled.

"I created this magic by dissecting the components of Dragon Slayer Magic and mixing its basic components with Earth Magic." Alexander answered. "I did the same with another magic."

Suddenly, a powerful force was pressing down on top of Sakura and Frost, pinning them down where they stood and forced them to the ground.

"What is this?!" Sakura shouted.

"I can't move!" Frost said.

"Gravity Dragon Deep Impact!"

The pressure pounded down on the ground in one pulse and a large crater formed where Sakura and Frost were. Though the two girls were able to survive the attack, they received a lot of damage from the powerful attack.

"You have no chance in defeating me." Alexander said. "I have the strength of three dragons on my side. I might even be powerful enough to defeat Acnologia. Imagine the magic power I could extract from that beast. Once I obtain its powers, I will truly be the most powerful wizard in all of existence! Although, it isn't the power that I truly seek, but the knowledge of that power."

"Why are you so obsessed with researching magic?" Sakura asked, barely able to stand up. "What about that could possibly drive you to do such horrible things?"

"I was the first member of the Lexus lineage to be born without magical abilities." Alexander replied. "I was both bullied and pitied by my siblings. However, they were killed while out on their jobs and I was the only one that could continue the family line. When I took a wife and she gave birth to a child, not only did she die during the childbirth but the son she bore didn't have any magical abilities. Magic was the identity of the Lexus line and for it to be snuffed of its powers so easily was a disgrace that my elders severely punished me for. My obsession with magic isn't my own, but a curse passed down from the previous generations. And the powers I have attained from your dragons are what have turned this curse into a blessing. Unfortunately for the four of you, you won't be able to see the return of the Lexus lineage!"

Alexander walked up to Sakura and was about to strike her down with a fist engulfed in stones.

"Forest Dragon Thorn Claw!"

Sakura swung up her arm, which surrounded itself in cherry blossom petals that shaped itself into the form of a claw, and slashed Alexander up across the chest, causing blood to spurt out from the wounds.

"I don't care why you did it or who you're doing it for!" Sakura shouted, glaring directly at him with fierce determination in her eyes. "What you've done is unforgivable! Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Leaf Judgment Sword!"

Sakura charged a large pink leaf in her hands and brought it down on Alexander, forcing him to stumble back a bit and lose a bit more blood.

"Why you-" Alexander growled.

"Ice Dragon Frozen Fist!"

Frost jumped up with her body surrounded in icy dragon scales and socked Alexander right in the face. The force of her punch managed to knock out a couple of his teeth. Jayden then jumped into the air and long water claws formed around his hands.

"Water Dragon Riptide Slash!"

Jayden crossed his arms and sliced at Alexander in an X-shape with the water claws.

"White-Lightning Dragon Mode!" Lionel shouted as the power of White and Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic radiated around his body. "White-Lightning Dragon Roar!"

Lionel shot a blast of lightning and light at Alexander that completely engulfed him in its power, creating a massive cloud of dust around the target.

"After all those attacks, I doubt he survived that." Lionel said.

"… Think again."

When the smoke cleared, they could see that even though Alexander took quite a beating he was still standing tall.

"I admit, you are all powerful in your own rights." Alexander said. "But it is as I said before. You don't stand a chance against me."
