A/N: Happy New Year readers! 2015 is here at last! Sadly, due to lack of new fic ideas and constant fic delays, Runner and I couldn't do a Countdown for you guys this year. But we do have a sneak preview of a new special regarding Universal Runners! Read it now below and see what we mean!

"As black and white continue to chase the corruption,

The curtains rise on the red shadows.

Fact and fiction turned to reality and escape.

Sun and moon shall rise to this new story,

As the new horizon will shine on the darkness."

On top of a skyscraper in the city of Danville at night, the silhouetted figure of a woman jumped from roof to roof on each skyscraper until reaching one where she found herself surrounded by shadow grunt thugs. A few moments pause goes by, then the grunts and the woman then engage in a fight, the scene blacking in-and-out as they trade blows.

The scene then shifts to down in the city during the day where Phineas and Ferb are just walking along the street where they see a man in a hat and trenchcoat doing something suspicious.

"Hey, mister," Phineas called to him. Upon seeing the boys, the man turned and ran. "Hey wait!"

The two ran after him, but stopped when they saw he'd dropped a small box, which Phineas picked up.

"What's this?"

The scene then shifts to Phineas and Ferb and pans out to show them in the middle of a huge gaming convention, with developer booths, gamers, nerds etc. There, they come across a booth about some kind of online game.

"Universal Legends?" Phineas read it out when a girl came out of the table, which she then says, "Judging by your confused reactions, you too must be new here."

"Beyond the monochromic eyes..."

The scene then changes to a dungeon setting where a kunoichi ran through the hallways of a dungeon.

"So this game's half-virtual reality?," Phineas' voice said, off-screen.

The kunoichi then encounters a centaur-like monster wielding a battle axe. Drawing two swords, the kunoichi then charged at the monster, and both clashed weapons as they fought each other

"Yeah, not only your mind's transfer to your avatar with hypnosis-like VR, but you can play it without a virtual reality helmet!," a girl's voice said, also off-screen.

"Two shards unknowingly wield two former shadows."

The scene then changes to Phineas and Ferb then placing respective red and green rings on their fingers, which causes them to start glowing, to their amazement.

"Are you aware that those codes contain something that we shouldn't supposed to expose them to the public?," the off-screen voice of an unknown female Reaper said.

The two boys are then shown online at the ULO website, creating their avatar characters to their specifications.

"I know and I hope that they use them well without plunging them to corruption," the off-screen voice of a man said.

"And discover the secrets beyond Unitas..."

The scene changes to where the two are with a girl, who is talking about their avatars' origins.

"Do you know why these avatar forms were chosen to be yours in Universal Legends?," the girl asked.

"No," Phineas replied shaking his head.

"Then are you aware that they originally belonged to an evil cult?"

"What?!"

"From beyond the Black and White stories of Universal Runners..."

The scene shifts to within Unitas, with the Black and White Union Runners fighting several -Crystal and Volcanic Wyverns-

The scene shifts again to them fighting a hacker avatar.

The scene then shifts a third time to them preparing to battle several Black Tundra Enforcers.

"To the tales of the firey Red..."

Phineas and Ferb are then shown having constructed a large shop with booths displaying their circus acts from "Jerk De Soleil" plus some new acts, and several booths featuring party music and fireworks.

Then, they are shown with their friends being shown a holo-map of the structural connection of ULO with all the worlds by the girl from before.

"There are many worlds within our universe, and ULO is connected most of them them, including yours," the girl told the gang who looked on in amazement.

"How exactly do they stay connected?," Baljeet asked.

"What connects them all to ULO is their Data Cores, secret hidden chambers in each world that have the power to control that said world's reality."

"So generally speaking, they're the hearts of the worlds?," Isabella guessed.

"Correct, Isabella. And each and every world's Data Core is connected to ULO's main core, which somewhat connects all the worlds together."

"Amazing!," Phineas gasped.

"As the Light shine the fires..."

The scene then changed to Zeus running somewhere in the streets of L.A. and bumped right into Phineas, knocking him down. He then got up and helped Phineas back to his feet.

"Sorry about that, kid," Zeus said.

"It's cool, " Phineas replied.

"And Darkness protecting the dangers to inferno..."

In the offices of the CodeX United building, Ferb looked around for something. He then saw a boy, who happened to be Itzal, and approached him.

"Pardon me, but can you tell me where to find, Mr. Spirit's office?," he asked.

"Down the hall, fourth door on the right," Itzal said pointing down a hall.

"Thanks."

"Can two new souls brave the obstacles and face the inferno behind the cold?"

The scene then cut to two familiar boys in the canyons of Unitas being mentored by the female Reaper. Then, it quickly cuts to the same boys in some kind of gathering as the leader said, "As we embark in this new quest of riches..."

Then, the gathered players then burst into the dungeon and begin fighting off the creatures that reside there. The two familiar boys end up leading the pack, cutting down monster after monster as they make their way to the next floor of the dungeon.

"We will be known to the world that this dungeon is ours to rule!"

Then the scene cuts to Phineas, who was worried about something as Isabella said, "Remember what you said, Phineas. There's times for fun and time for seriousness. So why can't you face the facts that this is not one of your ideas and this is real danger?"

The gang is then shown in ULO as their avatars (all of which have the color-coding of their real-life parts and clothing that bares representation of their respective Job Classes), along with an additional female avatar dressed in blue Magi-Rogue clothing, battling approaching monsters.

Phineas and Ferb's avatars take on a barage of -Black Seekers- back-to-back. Isabella and the new girl's fight side-by-side against several -Earth Crushers-. Baljeet and Irving's battle cry as they charge at a giant -Volcanic Wyvern-. And Buford stands firm as he tries to push back a stampede of -Disarry Bulls-.

Then the scene cuts to Buford and his friends in Danville at night, which he shouts, "BUFORD VAN STOMMMMMM!"

"Even you face the harsh reality, remember that you have to be yourself," the girl said to the stepbrothers. "That's the only way to conquer your shadows."

Then, a ship with the Black Tundra's logo flies by in ULO, with the logo getting a close up. The scene then shifts to the ship landing, opening up, and Vidal and Kozai exiting with a group of soldiers behind them.

Then, Tim Scam and Isaac Yune are shown back in the cult's world, in a lab with a scientist.

"I will get my greatest creations back, no matter what the cost!," the scientist said.

Then, a diamond-shape logo resembling the UR logo appeared as scenes from before to flash in each of the sections.

Then two stepbrothers are then seen battered and bruised, but still standing strong and about to fight an unseen enemy.

"This might be our last stand, Ferb. Are you with me, brother?," Phineas said, looking determined at Ferb.

"All the way, brother," Ferb confirmed with a confident smile. Phineas smiled back and the two took each other's hands.

Universal Runners: Horizon Raiders

Buford is then shown making faces behind the new girl's back thinking that she won't notice, but she does and becomes angry and visibly annoyed. Eventually, she kicks Buford, causing him to keel over.

"Ouch," he groans.

"Can I have permission to kick him in the stomach?," the girl then asks.
