UR Spotlight Special: Ocean & River Waters
At CodeX United's conference room, Jordan and Bren in their chibi forms are standing near their usual holographic screen as the Water Runner starts the segment.
"Today, we'll talk about our twin detective cousins from my father's side of the family."
The projector then shows a full body picture of Ocean.
"Ocean is the oldest of the two by six minutes and the second oldest in their family. He is a serious, and highly insightful guy and the main detective of the two due to his special ability, known as -Scenario Puzzle- which allows him to generate information he gathers into cards within his mind, which also allows him to imagine scenarios of the crime to put the case together like a puzzle," Jordan explained. "It's a gift he inherited from his dad, my uncle Blaine, a highly decorated police detective."
Next, the projector shows a full body picture of River.
"River is the younger twin and the second youngest in their family. She's an aspiring, level-headed artist and Ocean's best friend and partner, and is often the one who helps fill in the blanks for him in his scenarios," Bren explained. "I mean, without him, they wouldn't be the big detective duo we know them to be."
"You got that right," River said as she and Jerry walked in with several plates of cake.
"Yeah, River and I, we're a team through and through," Ocean added as he handed out two of the plates. "By the way, cake?"
"This the leftovers from the reunion?," Jordan asked.
"Yep. I just wish that you two could be a big crime-fighting pair like the two of us," River said.
"Well, I'm sure we would if Jordie would stop being such a Naggy-Sue," Bren said with a snicker. Next thing he knew however, the Fire Runner found himself with a face full of cake, courtesy of a peeved Jordan. He licked the icing off the side of his face. "Cookies 'n' cream. Love it."
"Yeah, Ryder definitely did good this year, thankfully for you," Jordan said as the four cousins shared a laugh.
