Sorry you had to wait so long for this chapter. I had to write chapters for my other stories, I got the Mewtwo DLC for Smash Bros. and I also got Mortal Kombat X. I'm also nearing the end of my semester and will probably be moving in about a week, so I'm not going to be able to get as much work done as you want me to. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!

July 2, X791

The crowded stadium of Domus Flau was waiting eagerly for the next match to be announced, especially since the first one ended on a sour note.

"Now to get the bad taste out of our mouths, here's the second battle!" Chapati announced to the audience. "It's Haru from Phoenix Dawn Team B!"

"Oh yeah!" Haru jumped straight from the rafters and into the arena.

"She seems eager." Static said to his other teammates.

"She's been itching for a fight ever since yesterday." Melody stated. "And Master Blaise personally taught her to better utilize her abilities."

"I guess that makes sense since they're both fire wizards." Frost said.

"And her opponent, from Fairy Tail Team A…"

"It's us?" Erza gasped as she stood with Lucy, Gray and Elfman.

"What'll they do if they call for Natsu?" Lucy asked.

"Beat him until he wakes up." Gray replied to Lucy's question.

"I wonder just how strong she is…" Elfman muttered.

High in the stands where Arcadios was watching the games, the king walked up to him and looked down at the arena.

"Oho! So you've provided the battles I asked for?"

"Your Majesty." Arcadios bowed to his king.

"This should be a good fight. Haru Hono vs. Erza Scarlet. I have no doubt both women will give us a great show."

"Huh?" Arcadios looked at the king with confusion.

"Hm?" The king looked back at Arcadios.

"Did… you… just say… Erza, Your Majesty? The one I matched against Haru was-"

"Elfman Strauss!"

Everyone in the stadium was completely surprised with the king particularly upset. Even some of Fairy Tail's own members seemed concerned.

"Go face her." Erza said to Elfman as he walked off toward the arena. "We have no path left but victory."

"R-right…" Elfman hesitantly responded.

Back with the king and Arcadios…

"I wanted to see Erza fight! Not him!" The king complained.

"I humbly beg your forgiveness." Arcadios apologized, even though it was largely the king's fault for screwing up the names. "I was negligent."

"This won't be a match at all! That Fairy Tail wizard doesn't stand a chance against a disciple of Yao Sanguine!"

"I-I imagine so…"

Back in the arena, as Elfman approached Haru raised an eyebrow.

"I'm up against you?" Haru questioned. "I wanted to fight Erza!"

"Well, deal with it." Elfman said. "You're up against a real man now."

Haru looked intensely at Elfman for a second before laughing. "Hahahaha! Your muscles make your head look so tiny!"

"Don't make fun of me just because I'm manly!"

"You're not as manly as Erza… I don't mean that as an insult, though. You know, why don't we make a bet like the guys in the last match? If I win, Erza has to take me on as her apprentice!"

"… So, you want to be trained by something strong, do you?" Elfman asked before tossing his team vest to the side. "Fine! If I win, you have to become the apprentice of a real man! Me!"

"Heh, there's no way I can lose, so I'll take that bet!"

Haru kicked her shoes off and flames ignited around her fists and feet.

"Beast Soul!" Elfman transformed into Beast form.

Elfman tried to punch Haru, but she tried to match it with a punch of her own. Obviously, Haru was knocked back and the flames from her punch were burning Elfman's hand, making him growl in pain.

"Heheh…" Haru chuckled as she got back up like Elfman's attack didn't even faze her. "I've been training hard the last few months under Master Blaise. A little trick she taught me was I can spread my flames to my opponent to deal… um… Master Blaise, what was the word you used again?"

In the stands, Blaise held her face and sighed.

"Persistent damage…" Blaise replied.

"That!" Haru said.

Elfman pounded his fist into the ground to snuff out the flames and shape-shifted into another form.

"Beast Soul: War Tiger!"

Elfman, in his War Tiger form, began swiping his claws furiously at Haru. She was barely dodging the attacks until she saw a brief opening between the attacks.

"Fire Fist: Blazing Dragon Fist!"

With an ignited fist, Haru uppercut Elfman in the chin and sent him flying upward. She jumped up in the air and kicked her blazing foot right into his back.

"Fire Fist: Meteor Dive!"

Haru dove down with Elfman, sending him crashing to the ground with her and pinned him down.

"Wow, Haru's attacks have gotten pretty devastating these past few months." Heart said as she was watching the fight from Phoenix Dawn's section of the stands.

"She's been honing both her physical and magical power just for the chance of a good fight." Blaise stated. "But she hasn't even gotten serious yet."

"Huh?" Heart looked at Blaise in confusion.

"She hasn't gone into Overheat yet." Blaise clarified. "That's probably for the best, though."

"Why?"

"Overheat briefly enhances a fire wizard's strength and speed for a short period of time, but that comes at a price. The moment Overheat ends, the user becomes incredibly fatigued. To fully utilize it in a fight, it should be used as a last resort."

After missing the first few swipes, Elfman finally managed to knock Haru right into the arena wall. Once she climbed out of the rubble, steam began to rise from her body and her skin was turning red. She moved toward Elfman at incredible speeds and was right in front of him before he knew what was going on.

"Fire Fist: Volcanic Blitz!"

Haru assaulted Elfman with a barrage of blazing punches, leaving no chance for him to take a breather. She followed up with another uppercut to his chin and sent him flying into the air before crashing to the ground again.

"… One more…" Haru muttered to herself before rushing in for another attack. "Fire Fist: Volcanic Blitz!"

She unleashed another flurry of flaming fists at Elfman, but this time it seemed like each strike was making her hands bleed. Upon closer inspection, Elfman appeared to have taken on another form.

"Lizard Man! If I can't hit you, then I guess I'll let you hit me." Elfman taunted. "All right! Come on! Your fists against my body… Let's make this match about which one breaks first!"

Blaise looked on in concern. *This isn't good. She was too impatient in going into Overheat. If she can't beat him before Overheat ends…"

Haru continued her assault on Elfman, knocking off a spiked scale with each attack.

"This is nothing short of intense!" Chapati shouted into his microphone. "It's less a battle of fists and more two wills bashing up against each other! One straining the limits of attack and the other straining the limits of endurance! So which will come out the victor?!"

After a minute or so of this, her body started to simmer down and she became gradually exhausted until her skin was back to its normal hue and she had to stop to catch her breath.

"I won't… I won't…" Haru panted heavily.

Both combatants looked completely exhausted and Haru knocked off most of the spiked scales off of Elfman's lizard body. It was merely a matter of who would pass out first.

"I won't… lose…" Haru said before falling to the ground and losing consciousness.

Elfman dropped to his knees, but he still kept himself up with his large arms.

"And Haru is down!" Chapati announced. "The winner if Elfman! Fairy Tail A gains 10 points! Which brings them up to 26 points!"

Elfman let out a guttural roar of victory.

"Does this war cry signal the resurgence of Fairy Tail?! Elfman chalked up a win against a truly powerful opponent!"

After taking Elfman and Haru to the infirmary, everyone was ready for the next fight to start between Mirajane and Jenny. However, unlike the previous fight, this one started with… both combatants in bikinis. A majority of the male audience were howling like dogs at the two beautiful women. Hikari had to keep her arms wrapped around Spiral's eyes just so he wouldn't get any funny ideas.

"Um…" Jayden looked blankly at the women, less from infatuation and more from confusion. "Shouldn't those two be fighting?" He then looked down to see Sakura curled up in the corner.

"I hate big boobs…" Sakura muttered under her breath.

"Still taking that defeat badly, huh?" Jayden rhetorically asked.

Everyone's attention was then drawn to a trio of ladies jumping into the arena. They were Lisley, in her curvaceous form, Araña and Beth of Mermaid Heel. This made the crowd even more riled up. Adding to this chaos were Lamia Scale's Sherry and Chelia wearing swimsuits, shortly followed by the ladies from Fairy Tail. Aqua was infuriated that they were wasting everyone's time with this pointless insanity and clenched onto armrest so hard that she crushed it with her bare hands.

Back where Phoenix Dawn Team B was watching the games from, Xanders was politely closing his eyes.

"A gentleman never ogles a lady." Xanders said. "These men are behaving like animals."

"You do realize we're the only ones here, right?" Static asked while Tristan was leaning against the edge to get a better look at the show. "Melody and Frost went down there."

Melody was wearing a skintight dark purple one-piece swimsuit with her bellybutton exposed and Frost in a bikini that consisted of a strapless white top and azure bottom.

"No reason we can't join in the fun, right?" Frost said.

"No one else in our guild is doing it, so might as well." Melody said.

"Yoohoo, Spiral!"

Hikari, still clinging to Spiral's eyes, looked in the arena to see Momo wearing a black string bikini that was slightly revealing and lying on the ground in a seductive manner. Hikari's eyes flared up and her teeth sharpened at the sight of her trying to move in on her man.

"She's really pissing me off…" Hikari muttered.

"Why don't you go down there in a swimsuit, too?" Spiral questioned.

"And give you the opportunity to ogle at the other women?"

"One of them is only three years younger than us!"

There were then a couple of wardrobe changes starting with school swimsuits, followed by swimsuits and high heels, glasses, cat ears and tails, bondage gear and lastly a bride challenge. The women were all in wedding dresses and some of the men from the various guilds were wearing tuxedos.

"My, I didn't expect to be paired up with you. Not that I'm complaining." Mirajane said to Ethan.

"Th-thanks…" Ethan replied nervously.

"Now this is more like it." Hikari said as she snuggled with Spiral's arm.

While Loke was whisking Lucy away, Lionel punched him in the face and caught Lucy.

"Sorry you had to be taken by that creep." Lionel said.

"That 'creep' was one of my spirits!" Lucy shouted as she slapped Lionel across the face.

Most people seemed to have been paired up with someone. Even Eden was paired up with Jenny. Jayden looked on at the insanity before realizing that he was also wearing a tuxedo.

"What the hell?!" He exclaimed. "How'd this get on me?! Crap, that means I have to find a partner!"

Jayden panicked and looked around for a particular person, but didn't see her and sighed in disappointment.

"Jayden?"

Jayden looked down and saw Wendy wearing a wedding dress.

"If you don't have anyone to partner up with, would you mind pairing up with me?" She asked with a cute, innocent look on her face.

Jayden thought about it for a moment and held her hand.

"I just hope people don't get the wrong idea." Jayden muttered to himself.

After the craziness was put to a stop by Lamia Scale's Guild Master Ooba trying to join in the fun, the actual fight between Mirajane and Jenny officially started with the two making a bet that the loser would have to do a nude photoshoot in the next issue of Sorcerer Weekly, which made the guys in the stadium cheer with excitement. However, the battle was completely one-sided in Mirajane's favor, earning Fairy Tail Team B 10 points.

In the balcony where Arcadios and King Fiore were watching the fights…

"I hope you didn't screw up the preparations for the next fight." The king said.

"Rest assured, Your Majesty. This one will live up to your expectations."

"Now onto the fourth fight and boy is it going to be intense!" Chaptati announced. "It will be Phoenix Dawn A's Jayden Oceari…"

"Wish me luck, guys!" Jayden turned around to his friends and gave them a thumbs up.

"Versus Mermaid Heel's Kagura Mikazuchi!"

"… You're screwed." Spiral said.
