HAPPY MLK DAY! ALTHOUGH THERE ARE STILL SOME IDIOT RACISTS OUT THER WHO I JUST WANT TO SLAP ALL THE TIME! ANYWAYS...

ROBERTS POV

"You do know how to drive, right?" asked Cassia, sounding like she was only half joking.

"Yes," I said. "We learned in initiation, remember?"

"Just messing with you," she said, with an uneasy smile on her face.

We made our way to the trucks to get Tris, Peter and all their friends out of the city.

"Bye," I said as I climbed into the truck.

"Don't die!" Cassia shouted back.

"I'm so inspired," I said, slamming the door.

Switched on the engine and pulled out of the lot of trucks, along with a few other trucks.

We drove towards the end of the tracks until we were around ten minutes away.

I tapped the wheel, sightly bored, until I heard gunshots. I quickly sat upright and grabbed the wheel.

What was happening.

I looked around, my knuckles turning white from gripping the wheel. A few minutes later, I heard footsteps and heavy breathing.

I opened the doors to the truck for people to get in.

I saw two people jump into Cassia's truck, and she skidded away.

I saw two people, who I recognized as Tobias and Uriah, jumped into the truck and slammed the doors.

"Anyone else?" I asked.

"No! Now step on it!" yelled Uriah.

I pressed down on the gas pedal with my foot, not wanting to get shot as much as Uriah and Tobias.

"Hey, you have a first aid kit in here?" asked Tobias.

"Yeah, it's under the seat. Why?" I asked.

"Bullet grazed me," he grunted.

I nodded to myself, worried, with my heart racing.

What happened to everyone else? Were my friends okay?

I finally slowed down at our designated meeting place.

I saw Peter and Caleb, who I thought was supposed to be in jail, sitting on the grass, their eyes wide, along with Cara, who sat a little ways away, shivering a bit.

Cassia hopped out of her truck and ran over to Peter an Caleb and started asking if they were okay.

"You two all good? Well as good as you can be with a bullet wound," I said, mentally slapping myself for saying the last part.

"I'm fine," said Uriah. "He should be too." They both climbed out of the truck.

I walked over to where Cassia, Peter and Caleb were sitting.

"How'd you get here?" I asked Caleb, sitting down.

"It's a very long story," he said. His cheeks were still red and he was a little out of breath.

The last truck pulled up towards us. Christina and Tris stepped out. Tris ran over to Tobias and gave him a kiss. I smiled a little at how much they liked each other.

Peter, apparently had different thoughts. "Disgusting," he muttered.

"Hey," I said, "It's sort of sweet."

"Mhm," he said, rolling his eyes.

"Hey, isn't Isobel your girlfriend?" I asked, questioningly.

"No! Never in a million years! She's my friend," he said, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Fine, I believe you," I said.

"Robert, Cassia, we need to bring the trucks back to the city," said Johanna.

Cassia and I got up and walked over to Johanna.

We said a brief goodbye to everyone and got back in the trucks.

I hoped with all my heart that they would all come back safely.
