WHAT IN PEOPLES MINDS WHEN PEOPLE WERE SETTING MADE THEM THINK THAT IT WAS OKAY JUST TO GO TAKE PEOPLES LAND?! AND ALSO, OUR STINKING HISTORY TEACHER SHOWED US THIS VIDEO ABOUT THE 'DONNER PARTY' WHO WENT ON THE OREGON TRAIL, TOOK A 'SHORTCUT' AND THEN ENDED UP GETTING STRANDED AND WERE FORCED O BECOME CANNIBALS WHEN THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD! I LEGITIMATELY WANTED TO CRY WHILE WATCHING THAT!

VERITY'S POV (SOME OF YOU FACES SEEMED TO LIKE THE CLEARWATER'S POV'S SO YEAH...)

"I hate being all calm and collected! It's horrible!" said Stella, as we walked with Nick to training.

"I honestly don't know how you did so well in Erudite initiation," I said.

"To be fair, despite her reckless nature, Stella is still pretty smart," said Nick. "I bet it might help in some situations."

"Really? You think I'm smart?" asked Stella.

"Er... Yeah," said Nick.

"I have no idea how you passed Candor initiation! You were the biggest air ever when we were younger! Remember when you threw a knife at the wall and blamed it on me? You got away with that!" said Stella.

"Hey, we were eight, and also, you should have come up with a better alibi than me. I lied better than you could tell the truth!" I said, smirking.

Stella stuck out here tongue.

We reached the room and walked in. Amity people were sitting at tables, a few with people sitting across from them.

I sat across from a girl with tan skin and black hair.

"Hello, I'm Winter," she said.

"I'm Verity," I said, smiling at her, truing to practice my diplomacy.

after waiting for a few more people to come, we started our arguments. The one I was having with Winter was that I was trying to convince her that the Factionless should be shunned from society. I was for including them, she was for not.

"Before we start, I don't actually support my own argument, but this is just a practice thing, so, yeah," she said.

"Okay," I replied.

"So, these people are dangerous! They don't fit in," said Winter, starting the 'argument'.

"The people who don't fit in sometimes have very good ideas to help society," I countered.

"But they feel resentment of us. even if we stopped shunning the younger ones, the older ones would still be angry," said Winter.

"Most of the older ones will feel better because society will be accepting them," I said.

"How will we treat them when they aren't being shunned," she asked.

"Well, they could still have the same jobs, but they should have proper food and housing, and people should respect them. Abnegation has been feeding them for a while now. I bet people would have no problem building houses for them," I said.

We continued on for a while like that until I said, "Well, this whole rebellion happened because we shunned the Factionless."

Winter nodded. "That was good."

I looked over at how Stella was doing. Her face was slightly red and she was gripping the table. But, she wasn't shouting. It seemed like it was taking her all of her might not to, though.

I noticed Nick looking at her with a slight smirk on his face as well.

After Stella won her argument, without yelling even once, we left.

"I wanted to punch that guy! But I didn't! I should get a medal of honor!" Stella joked.

I remembered once when we were a little younger, thirteen or something, we were doing something in school and Stella stood up, knocking over her chair and yelled at this one Candor boy (who I now suspected was Peter). He was probably just getting on her nerves somehow. But, the teacher had her take anger management classes for a week. I was pretty sure that just made her angrier.

I wished that I was forever a young girl who only had to worry about her sister's temper.
