For the next several chapters or so, lordsoftheRoses is helping me write scenes with Kyo. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!

Natsu, Wendy, Mirajane and Lionel were just about to remove their costumes when Kyo came walking around the corner and stopped when he saw them. Everyone froze and stared back in a moment of awkward tension while a light breeze passed.
"… Oh my God, is this another of those masked orgies?" Kyo asked.
"What is that?" Wendy asked.
Mirajane immediately covered Wendy's ears.
"Hey, aren't you that Sabertooth punk I beat the other day?" Natsu asked.
"You don't have to say it like that, you bag of hot air." Kyo replied.
"I'm not a bag of hot air!" Natsu shouted. "I'm a bag of fire! Get it right!"
"Okay, okay. You're stupid. I get it." Kyo said.
"You're damn right!" Natsu said.
Kyo stared at Natsu. "… Wow, he literally just agreed with me."
"Hey, Sabertooth, don't you have kick a puppy into a river or something?" Lionel questioned aggressively.
"No, I'm off to meet your mom for my weekly handjob!" Kyo responded.
"Oh my, how vulgar." Carla said.
"Ha, joke's on you! I don't have a mother!" Lionel laughed.
"That's depressing…" Kyo said.
"Okay, that's it!" Lionel growled. "I'm going to kick this guy's ass!"
"As much as I'd love to take the time to knock this jerk down a peg, we're in a hurry." Lily spoke.
"Yeah, Lucy and Yukino are counting on us." Mirajane said while still covering Wendy's ears.
A sudden, foreboding chill struck Kyo.
"Yuki…" Kyo muttered.
"Dah, he's right!" Natsu agreed. "Let's go!"
As soon as Natsu turned around, Kyo stood in front of him with his head looking down. He put his hands toward Natsu to stop him, revealing a bandage wrapped around his arm where his Sabertooth mark used to be.
"What did you say about Yuki?" Kyo asked almost mumbling.
"Hey, are you lookin' for a fight?" Lionel questioned. "'Cause I'll happily-"
"SHUT UP!" Kyo shouted at Lionel.
When Kyo looked up, his eyes were glazed.
"What happened to Yukino?" Kyo inquired.
Mirajane saw the emotions in Kyo's eyes. "Last night, the Captain of the Royal Guard showed some of us the reason they conduct the Grand Magic Games: To siphon small amounts of magic from powerful wizards to power a magical device called Eclipse."
"From what I understood, tomorrow night it can be opened and the magic door can be used to travel 400 years in the past." Natsu said.
"And the only way to open Eclipse is with the twelve Golden Gate Keys that both Lucy and Yukino possess." Lily added. "But the Defense Minister interfered and arrested Arcadios, Lucy and Yukino."
"And what exactly are YOU all doing?" Kyo questioned.
"Duh, we're gonna go save 'em!" Natsu answered.
"Just like that?" Kyo asked.
"Just like that!" Natsu replied.
"Yeah, just fight the entire Royal Army to get your friend out!" Kyo said. "You guys know that's impossible, right? You guys aren't nearly strong enough-"
Natsu grabbed Kyo by the collar and pulled him close enough to look him straight in the eyes.
"You think I care about any of that?!" Natsu shouted. "Our friends are in trouble and that's all that matters!"
Kyo's shaggy hair covered his eyes as he looked away at an angle, then he grabbed onto Natsu's wrist without forcing it off of him.
"… Please… Let me come with you." Kyo said.
"Huh?" Natsu asked.
Kyo lifted his head, his eyes on the verge of tears, but not crying yet.
"I need to save Yukino!" Kyo said. "Please take me with you!" Before anyone could say anything or object, Kyo raised his voice. "I need to save her! It was my fault! I thought being strong meant beating another guy without trouble. To stand up for yourself against bullies and such. In that regard I was strong! I WAS DAMN STRONG!... But when Yukino was expelled from the guild…I sat back and watched it happen! I SHOULD'VE SPOKEN UP! I SHOULD'VE DEFENDED HER!...You had no problem with that Natsu…You charged in and challenged Jiemma to a fight. Then I noticed how weak I truly was. Not for a strength comparison…"
Tears began to flow from Kyo's eyes now.
"But because I couldn't protect my friend! I was scared! I was concerned with myself and my desires than for her! SO PLEASE LET ME COME WITH YOU! I NEED TO HELP HER!"
There was a quiet moment of contemplation, then Natsu let go of Kyo.
"Geez, quit your crying!" Natsu said. "Come with us, if you want!"
Kyo took a deep breath and tried to relax himself.
"No!" Lionel spoke up. "I'm not going to let you bring this guy with us! I object!"
"Fine, we'll put it to a vote." Natsu said. "Those who against Kyo, say 'nay'."
Lionel raised his hand. "Nay!"
"Everyone in favor, say 'aye'."
"Aye!" Mirajane, Happy, Carla, Lily and even Volt raised their hands.
"Traitor!" Lionel shouted at Volt.
Kyo rubbed his hand over his face. "Thank you, guys."
"What's going on? I can't hear anything!" Wendy shouted with her ears still being covered by Mirajane.
The Grand Magic Games continued through the city. The Trimens of Blue Pegasus had already taken out Beth and Araña of Mermaid Heel.
Elsewhere in town, Lisley was being chased down by Chelia, but the gravity wizard was taken out by a magic arrow that seemed to come out of nowhere. Chelia looked around to see where it came from and hid in a tight alley where it would be difficult to be sniped.
On top of one of the tallest buildings in town, Leah was prone and crawling toward the edge of the roof.
*There's a chance an enemy saw my shot and is tracking me as we speak.* Leah thought as she dropped onto a nearby balcony. *Better head for a new spot every time I take a shot. Not very efficient, so I hope the others are doing their parts in this.*
In the midst of the chaos, Fairy Tail finally made their move and had taken out Jenny and the Trimens, earning them a total of four points in one go. Blue Pegasus would still be in… if Ichiya wasn't instantly taken out by Jura, nabbing Lamia Scale five points since he was the leader. Kagura had managed to fell Yuka and Toby of Lamia Scale in a single strike without any effort, granting her team two points.
Elsewhere in the city, Millianna was prowling the rooftops for opponents to fight. Suddenly, a spear of light flew toward Millianna and her reflexes made her jump back and avoid it. She looked up and saw Sora floating down in front of her with his Seraphim form active.
"Aren't you that boy from White Valkyrie?" Millianna asked.
"And you're that cat woman from Mermaid Heel." Sora said.
Millianna figured that this would be an easy fight since Sora has a habit of becoming bashful around scantily clad women.
"Kitten Blast!"
Out of a magic circle in front of her, a rope with a cat's paw at the tip twirled toward Sora. Without missing a beat, he dodged it and with a wave of his arm, fired a series of light daggers at Millianna, which she rolled out of the way.
"But I'm half-naked!" Millianna said. "Why aren't you distracted?!"
"Let's just say… Things have changed." Sora answered.
As their fight continued, someone was watching them from a distance. The figure had a devilish, vile smirk on their face.
Near the back door of the castle, a guard was bringing in a tied up Natsu and Wendy to two other guards standing by the door.
"Who're they?" One of the door guards asked.
"Caught them trying to sneak in." The guard with the Fairy Tail wizards answered. "Probably trying to break that Fairy girl out, I think."
"They're Fairy Tail?!" The other door guard exclaimed. "What'll we do?"
"Hm… Neither his Majesty nor the Defense Minister are here…" The other guard said. "The only thing to do is toss them in the dungeon."
"Yes, sir!" The guard was about to take Natsu and Wendy away.
"Hey! The dungeon's that way!" One of the door guards corrected.
"Thanks." A strange voice spoke up.
Both of the door's guards were punched in the back of the heads and rendered unconscious by Lionel and Kyo. They hid their bodies in the flower bed and took their clothes to disguise themselves as guards. The guard holding Natsu and Wendy transformed their face to that of Mirajane's, revealing herself as that guard.
"Great work, Miss Mira!" Wendy said.
"Now we can go save Lucy and Yukino!" Mirajane said.
Spiral was walking around town until he arrived at a peaceful garden. Trees and a variety of flowers were planted all over, it seemed like he was in the middle of a forest than an actual city.
*Still no sign of Sabertooth…* Spiral thought. *Or anyone for that matter.*
(Flashback)
Hikari continued to struggle in her fight against Rufus. She had yet to land a single hit on him and he countered everything she tried to throw at him.
*I knew I didn't stand a chance against him!* She thought. *It looks like my only option is to stall for a draw.*
"You've done well to last this long against me." Rufus said before placing his fingers on his temple again. "However, I should really finish this or the Master will be furious. Karma of the Burning Earth!"
Flames erupted from the ground and trailed toward Hikari, completely engulfing her in the inferno.
"HIKARI!" Spiral screamed.
The flames died down and Hikari, completely burned from the attack, fell to the ground.
(End Flashback)
*…Hikari…*
(Flashback)
"You still haven't suffered enough to my liking." Minerva said. "… I know…"
A strange portal appeared around Aqua's right arm, almost to her shoulder. With a sadistic smirk, the portal vanished and Aqua's arm along with it.
"AAAAAGGGH!"
(End Flashback)
*… Aqua…* Spiral moved his hand toward his sword's hilt and tightened his grip on it. *Sabertooth needs to pay for what they've done to my friends! I'll keep fighting… until I've defeated every last one of them!*
(Flashback)
The day before, Spiral and Hikari had visited Aqua in the infirmary. Aqua was showing them the arm she made out of water while using her left arm to keep her sheet covering her chest.
"Wow!" Hikari exclaimed. "That's amazing, Aqua!"
"I can't keep it up forever, though." Aqua said. "So it's only practical in combat."
Spiral clenched his fists in his lap.
"Spiral?" Hikari asked as she noticed his quiet demeanor.
"How can people here actually condone these actions?" Spiral questioned. "Hikari, you were severely injured and Aqua lost her arm! This isn't a war! It's a competition! Why does Sabertooth get away with this shit scot-free?!"
"Spiral, calm down." Hikari said.
"This isn't so simple, Hikari!" Spiral shouted.
Hikari became somewhat afraid of Spiral when he yelled at her.
"They hurt my friends! And they need to be taught a lesson!"
Hikari looked somewhat sad. "Spiral, I know it's because you care for us, but I'm really concerned about you."
"It's not like I plan to kill or maim them." Spiral said. "That'd make me no different from Sabertooth."
Hikari sighed. "Maybe there's nothing I can say to calm you… Just… promise me you won't do anything rash."
"I promise." Spiral replied.
Hikari pecked Spiral on the lips.
(End Flashback)
The moment his mind came back to reality, he sensed someone approaching behind him very quickly. He swiftly dodged a horizontal strike from the back end of a blade set on fire and rolled several feet away from his assailant.
"I knew you'd see me coming, but I'd thought it'd be sooner… cutie." Momo revealed herself as the attacker and smiled.
*I was hoping I'd fight someone in Sabertooth, but…* Spiral thought as he brought out his sword and held it back-handed. *Rules say I have to fight!*
A/N: I wanted to get this done last night or this morning, but I got a headache and couldn't find any medicine in the house, so I had to sleep much earlier than I wanted to. Then earlier today I had lunch with my grandfather and I really wanted to get this done before studying for TWO exams I'm taking this week. So I finished the last 20 percent of this chapter in between my study breaks. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed.
