Paige couldn't figure out why there were butterflies in her stomach or why she kept avoiding Emily's gaze. To her, it felt like Emily had the potential to see right through her wall she had so carefully built up. And for once, in such a long time, it seemed like her wall was shaky and on the verge of crumbling down.

14. Chapter 14 (Announcement)

Hey there,

Sorry that this isn't a new chapter for you all to read. I just wanted to let you know that I'm in the process of picking up this story where I left off. I hadn't forgotten about it, I just didn't make the time to continue with it, but never wanted to leave it unfinished. I'm a bit inspired by Paige making a reappearance in the upcoming season and I've been hit with a bit of a writer's bug, so I've decided to work through it with updates to this story. I can't promise an update within the week, I've got a busy work schedule that doesn't leave as much free time to write as I was able to when I was still in school. But please be patient with me, as I hope to bring you all new chapters and eventually closure to this story, when I feel as though I've tied up all the loose ends.
