Now it was the Ghost's crews turn to be in shock…again, how primitive a planet were they on if they had never even heard of the Force? Even Zeb knew what it was!
Kanan began to say "The force is an ener…" but Ezra simply lifted his hand up and a book flew from the shelf and zipped into his hand.
Sabine and Zeb smirked, Chopper whooped, Kanan sighed, Hera rubbed the bridge of her nose, and Gandalf and Elrond both went wide eyed.
"By the Valar, I have only seen this done by wizards, or the most powerful of my kind…" said Elrond. Ezra looked quite pleased with himself, and Kanan sighed again saying "Ezra, and myself are both Jedi, trained to use the force for the good of the Galaxy, unlike the Sith who only use it to gain power for themselves."
"You mentioned wizards, what's a wizard?" asked Ezra after putting the book down on Elrond's desk.
"I am a wizard, and I can do things like this." Gandalf said, pulling a small stone out of his pocket and blowing on it, creating a bright, pure light.
"Wow, the force feels different now, almost like a different flavor…"said Ezra looking at Kanan who nodded back.
"Well, all matters aside we should introduce you to a few people here before I have someone show you to your rooms." Said Elrond rather abruptly, deciding that it was time for these people to meet Aragorn, his daughter, and the Hobbits.
Rivendell Courtyard…Aragorn was speaking to Arwen, and the Hobbits were reacquainting themselves with Bilbo when lord Elrond walked over to Aragorn and Arwen.
"Ada, is something wrong?" asked Arwen, Aragorn simply looking up at the elf that was an honorary father to him.
"We have visitors from afar, friends who have no knowledge of Sauron and the Ring…they come from a place farther away then I believed possible, but they are now stranded and shall be staying here, so it is time you met them…be warned they look…strange" Elrond said.
Aragorn thought he had seen everything, but was startled into standing when the crew of the Ghost came out of a nearby archway, three looked 'normal' except for their strange raiment, but the others… a green woman with tendrils growing out of her head, a man looking like a cross between a man, Uruk, and bear, and a rolling warbling pile of metal.
"Ada, who are they?" Arwen asked, a hint of trepidation in her voice, "They shall introduce themselves, for I have other matters to attend to my dear" said Elrond who walked over to the strangers and said something, they nodded and walked over to Arwen and Aragorn as Elrond walked away.
"Hello, I am Aragorn son of Arathorn, and this is Arwen, daughter of Lord Elrond of Rivendell" said Aragorn "Though you may call me Strider, as many do"
Arwen curtsied as the crew of the Ghost stopped next to the pair and Kanan said "I'm Kanan, this is Ezra, Sabine, Zeb, Hera, and Chopper"
An hour later…Hera and Kanan had just finished explaining how they got here and where they were from, pausing several times for questions.
"Intriguing" Aragorn said "Worlds beyond our own, you say?" "Yeah, lots." Said Sabine, looking to Hera "Hera's our pilot and has knows more about most of those worlds than most of us."
Arwen then asks "Is it true that your people have no knowledge of Sauron the deceiver?", at which point Ezra speaks up "Well, other than what you father told us about him being really evil and really old, then…no."
Aragorn then stepped in and informed the Ghost's crew more about Sauron, the first age, Morgoth, the land of shadow, the second age, and the kingdoms of this world.
"…and that is why Sauron is called the deceiver." Aragorn finished, the crew was on Information overload, what had they landed in the middle of?
"We have some people you should meet, I'll go and tell them not to be startled by your appearance." Arwen said and then walked into a nearby doorway to fetch the hobbits.
"It's hard to believe that a piece of jewelry could be so powerful." Said Sabine, still trying to get her head around the story. "The Ring contains much of Sauron's being, and if it can be unmade then he will go into the void, never to return." Aragorn says
"Why haven't you destroyed the ring yet then?" says Zeb, Aragorn sighs and says "The ring was forged in the fires of Mount Doom, only there in the heart of the dark lords lands can it be unmade."
Arwen returns with some of the shortest people that the crew of the Ghost have ever seen, they would think that they were children except that one had grey hair.
"Lady Arwen, how strange could they loo…" Pippen just trails off as he and the other Hobbits stare at the crew, especially Hera and Zeb, until Chopper whistles, then they stare at him too.
Another round of introductions follow, as well as the tale of the Ghost and her crew, and by the time Lord Elrond returned the crew knew who was who, who was related to who, and that
Hobbits preferred the easy life.
"Ah, I see that you have become acquainted" says Elrond, Sabine then says "Yeah, Arwen and Aragorn filled us in". "Well that is very good, I will have my maid Melima here show you all to your rooms; Hera, you and Sabine will share, as will Zeb and Chopper, and Kanan and Ezra." Finding these arrangements acceptable the crew follows Melima to their quarters after saying farewell to Arwen, Aragorn, and the Hobbits.
Sabine and Hera's Room… "This place is almost to cool to be true" Sabine says looking over the balcony of their room on a courtyard below, Hera is just sitting on her bed, deep in thought. "Hera?" "You think we should help them, defeat Sauron and all?" says Hera…
Zeb and Chopper's Room… "Night rustbucket" says Zeb, climbing on his bed and falling asleep immediately, Chopper rumbles and trundles over to an alcove to power down…
Kanan and Ezra's Room… "You think we should help them, don't you" says Ezra after Melima closes the door, Kanan sighs and says "I don't know, but I'm leaning toward yes. Anyway we should wait for this council tomorrow, until then rest padawan" Ezra smiles and lies down on his bed as Kanan does the same on his…
