Chapter 2: Welcome Back to Canada, Lindy!

Lindy Ramen sighed, as she settled the last of her stuff in the apartment she rented and looked around. The apartment looked a little cluttered, but Lindy had so many articles of clothing, that it was almost impossible to pick what she would bring and what would stay back home in Japan. Her foster parents, Yuki and Tai also gave her some towels, kitchen items, and even a couch left over from the living room renovation. They were really kind to help her out and even pay for her first year of university. Lindy bought a new bed, a television, and a small laptop for her school work.

Pictures of soccer idols, friends from Japan, Canada and even the twins, Ai and Mako were everywhere. They reminded her of both worlds she was a part of. The curtains were a nice shade of dark blue, and matched her kitchen which was a clean white. Her bathroom was the favourite as it included a shower and a large bathtub. She was lucky that the room had become available for rent as soon as she was accepted into Brock University.

Despite her appearance of being fifteen, the nineteen year old hybrid was finally living on her own. It bothered Lindy that she did not change or grow any more than when she first was cursed. Her hair stayed the same, her height did not change and her body had not completely matured. It was not like she had a rocking body of a model, she often felt self conscious and wore clothing that covered her arms and legs modestly. The only time she let her skin show was during soccer, where she would gain tan lines easily from her fair skin.

After her aunt Erika Rose was captured, Lindy struggled for awhile, trying to return to a normal routine. Every night for the first few months, she had nightmares of the time she was captured at Hypnos, or fighting D-Reaper, or that alternate reality she was stuck in. It was common she would wake up crying, or screaming out Ai and Mako's name loudly.

It took a full year of therapy to get it under control. Under Yu's orders, the twins and Impmon had to attend as well. Impmon tried skipping out, but Lindy firmly brought him in, saying he needed to get things off his chest as well. After some prodding, he confessed he had flashbacks of being shot or hurt by Beelzewomon.

Ai and Mako were hardest. The two were still so young, it was hard for them to explain how they were feeling. At first, they were saying how terrible it felt that Lindy was 'dead'. The two never felt anything quite like it. Then, they confessed that losing faith in Impmon made them so scared to loose both partners, it would grip their dreams and thoughts constantly. Ai and Mako retold the horrible pain when Beelzemon had been shot. Only then, did Lindy and Impmon realize that the two were bonded so deep, that whenever Impmon and Lindy suffered, the twins would feel as well. It proved that the bond between Tamer and digimon was real and very powerful.

The twins were sentenced to meditation training that Renamon coached. With practice, it was believed by Renamon that the twins could switch on or switch off their connection to Impmon and Lindy. It also explained why they were suddenly thrown into Lindy's point of view during her capture at Hypnos. They were within range of each other as Lindy was only floors above them. The realization left Lindy and Impmon cautious for a long time of how they felt or thought around the twins. It was only after a confrontation by Ai and Mako two years later, that Lindy and Impmon opened themselves up a little. The 'link' became stronger and easier to control between the four of them.

Time went on and Lindy was becoming adjusted to being a hybrid. The prayers at night settled from two a night to only a few a week. The worn Bible that she kept under her pillow, had been put in a locked drawer. Lindy would look at seldom when she felt upset and missed her old family back home.

It was during Lindy's final year of high school with Takato and the others that she secretly applied to some Canadian universities. She wanted to earn a degree and with her less than satisfactory marks in Japanese school, it was more likely she would be free from her curse than be accepted into a Japanese university.

Brock University was one of the two schools that accepted Lindy out of the dozens of other applications she sent out. It was in St. Catharines, which was only a town over from her old home. Plus, it would be a degree in Political Science, something she felt would come in handy with digimon becoming a normality. Lindy accepted the offer happily and to her relief, Tai and Yuki were proud of her.

However, three others were horrified by her actions. The twins were infuriated with her at first, saying she was abandoning them. After a week of ignoring Lindy, she finally got her Tamers convinced she would visit them often, be safe, and never leave them for good. Mako asked her if she liked Canada better than Japan.

"Only here can I have crazy adventures with you two monkeys." Lindy laughed tickling the twins with glee. She could never imagine life without her Tamers, it was unthinkable! Yet, she wanted to do something after high school, not just sit around like a certain hybrid imp.

"I will never leave you two, I'm your digimon." she softly told the brown haired children.

Finally, it was Impmon that held a rough grudge against her. It took a long time, with lots of arguments, cursing, and even little brawls, that Lindy got Impmon accustomed to the idea of her going away for school. The hybrid teen knew he was worried about her and thought she was going to abandon them. In response, the hybrid hugged her boyfriend,

"You know that deep down, I would never leave you or the twins. I love you all too much to ever do that. I will come back to visit and if a digimon ever appeared, I'll be here in a flash."

The last few days before Lindy moved away, the two spent as much time together as they could. A few good pranks on the digimon such as Guilmon (gluing the bread to the roof of his hideout), kidnapping Terriermon (and covering him in glitter), and even trying to sound off an air horn at Renamon, (which failed miserably).

Now, a week later, Lindy was settled into her apartment in St. Catharines, Canada.

"Well, I'm on my own now!" she sighed happily and started to open the bed sheet box.

Suddenly, the brown box moved. Lindy gasped and stood back. What was in there? Curious, she opened the box and her sea green eyes widened at who was inside.

There was Calumon sitting there in the box, among several candy bar wrappers littered around him. He looked up at the teen hybrid with a goofy grin. "Hi Lindy! Wanna play?"

"Calumon? What-what are you doing here?" She couldn't believe a piece of Japan came along with her. What was the in-training digimon doing here?

"Impmon sent me to look after you!"

"He WHAT?" Lindy screamed and started to pull at her bright, blonde hair. She should have known the little demon would have pulled a stunt like this.

"He said 'look after toots and if something bad happens, tell me'. Then he shoved me into this box-which was pretty boring. But, he threw in some candy!" Calumon explained as he flew around the apartment room. "Oh, is this Canada? It's very small and where is all the snow?"

"Yeah, were in Canada right now. This here, is my apartment. I can't send you on your own back to Japan so I guess you're stuck with me." Lindy scooped up the white Digimon with large ears. "Listen, we have to settle some ground rules. First, you cannot leave this apartment building. I need to keep an eye on you; Oh, I hope Jeri doesn't freak out on this. Second, I'm going to school almost every day so when I do my homework here you cannot bother me okay?"

Calumon nodded and closed his naive eyes, giggling. "Okay Lindy!"

Lindy smiled and hugged the cute digimon. He was just too adorable not to hug! Laughing and smiling she put a hand on her hip.

"Okay, I got to unpack. Wanna help? I'll make sure we'll turn this into a game."

"A Game? Okay! Yay! We are going to play a game!" Calumon chimed, flying around the room with his large ears while Linds laughed more. Calumon was sure childish that's for sure. Maybe that's why her boyfriend sent him.

"First, I have to make a call to a certain imp." Lindy muttered and took out her cell from her purse.

Suddenly, Lindy saw something from the corner of her eye and felt an itching sensation in the back of her mind. A digimon was here and it looked like it just went through a part of her wall. It was white and reminded her of those ghost digimon named Bakemon.

"Oh, a digimon!" Calumon tried to fly through the wall where he saw Bakemon phase through, but he just bumped into it and sniffed.

"How come I can't go through it?" Calumon pouted while Lindy scooped him up into her arms.

"That call has to wait, I guess. First, we'll see what that digimon is up to."

The two went out of the door and saw the white ghost float down the hall and phase through the floor. Growling, Lindy made a dash for the stairs and skipped down them with almost inhuman speed. She threw open the door and came to the entrance only to stop and gawk at the group in front of her. There were six teenagers, with six digimon and a lot of boxes lying everywhere.

At first the Canadian Tamers were speechless at who they were staring at. Could Lindy Ramen be standing there? It was Marianna who made the first move.

"LINDY!" she screamed and tackled Linds into a hug, not noticing Calumon. Lindy screamed and hugged the Latino girl and looked at the others who were gathering around her. This was a huge surprise, it was her old friends!

"Um, correct me if I'm wrong but are we suppose to know this 'Lindy?" Gazimon asked crocking her head to the side while Kunemon looked at the blonde, fearfully. He didn't like people taller than him or screaming. He crawled up PJ's leg and sent a shockwave through his Tamer. PJ hissed in pain.

Ally whizzed around and looked at her digimon. "Oh my God, I forgot. Lindy this is Gazimon, and the little bug over there is Kunemon. He's a chicken but once you get to know him he's nice. You never met our Digimon really did you?"

"No I havn't. It's a pleasure to meet you all!" Lindy smiled and saved at everyone. Gazimon narrowed her pink eyes in suspicion.

"Why do you feel strange? Not to be rude, but I sense you like I do with a digimon."

Lindy looked strangely at the group.

"You guys never told them about me?"

PJ rubbed the back of his neck embarrassed, recovered from Kunemon's shock.

"We kinda forgot to mention Lindy's a hybrid. She's part digimon and part human. She just changes at night."

Lindy watched Gazimon relax a little bit. Kunemon still refused to come out of PJ's pant leg.

"How are you Lindy? It is nice to see you under more normal circumstances." Tiguramon trotted over to Lindy and purred. Lindy nodded and shook Tiguramon's paw.

"It is. I just wish I got to see you guys. I was pretty busy in Japan after everything happened."

"That was because you're spending time with your precious boyfriend, Ian." Bakemon mocked in floating in front of the blonde. Lindy growled as she grabbed Bakemon with quick reflexes.

"Oh, by the way Bakemon. I would really appreciate it if you don't go into my room. You wouldn't want be get 'Badaboomed' now, would you?" Lindy showcased her impish personality as Bakemon phased out of her grasp and went to Luke for protection.

"She's going to hurt me. I know it!" Bakemon cried.

"I told you not to go into other rooms with people in them." Luke scolded Bakemon, who apologized and cried for forgiveness.

Katrina finally noticed Calumon and exclaimed. "Aw, who's this little guy? Are you a Tamer now or something?"

Lindy shook her head and let the white digimon float out of her arms, "Nope. I'm still Ai and Mako's digimon. This guy is Calumon. Calumon, these people are the reasons why Impy wanted to send you with me." She watched the others thought about it for a moment, and let it click. Ally let out a 'hey!' and the others chuckled.

"So, he shoved him with you?" Marianna asked.

"Yea, I have to make a call to the guy actually. I wonder why the heck he did this." Lindy huffed, crossing her arms.

"Aw, he cares about you!" Marianna replied as she hugged Luke who smiled at his girlfriend's affection. "I mean, if Luke here went away I would send Tiguramon or someone with him to make sure he was alright!"

"Guys, not to be rude or anything but we should get going." Cam suddenly spoke up and the others stared at him. "If the landlord here hates digimon, then we should get out of sight before he sees about half a dozen digimon here."

"Right, where are your rooms?" Lindy asked. The group turned to Tiguramon who sighed impatiently.

"Are you telling me that none of you remember your rooms?"

"Nope."

"Not really."

"We get a room?"

"Of course we do, Bakemon!"

The blue and white tiger digimon sighed, grabbed a sheet of paper with her mouth gently, and trotted over to the hybrid.

"Marianna, Luke, Bakemon and myself are on the second floor in room 202."

Lindy in her mind, screamed in happiness and was amazed by the luck! They were right beside her own place! Grinning brightly, she explained to everyone where their apartments were. While everyone started to gather their stuff and report to their rooms quickly, Katrina poked Lindy. The blonde spun around.

"Can you help me with my stuff? I shouldn't have packed so much." She sighed and laughed nervously while Lindy was more than happy to oblige. She picked up a box and chatted to Katrina as they made their way to 113. "Lindy, you look so…so…"

"Young?" asked Lindy adjusting the box in her arms. "It's part of being a hybrid. I hardly aged. It's been so annoying trying to get a driver's license." Lindy explained as Calumon started to float beside Katrina and looked at Bowmon closely.

"Hi! I'm Calumon!" he smiled as Bowmon floated beside Calumon and introduced herself as Bowmon. Katrina looked at Lindy.

"Wow, Calumon is really neat if he can speak to Bowmon so casually."

"Yeah, he helped out Jeri during the D-Reaper. Although, I hear he's a handful sometimes." Lindy and Katrina giggled as they came to the slender teen's apartment.

"Here we are." Katrina unlocked the door easily and opened the door to reveal a nice apartment. It was a single bedroom with a kitchen to the left and a living room on the right. The two Digimon floated inside and started to explore the new pad. The walls weren't the nicest color but with some paint, it would look better.

"I'm painting my walls a nice blue." Lindy explained, setting the stuff in the 'kitchen'. Phew, that was heavy she thought. "What about you?"

"Maybe a yellow, something cheerful." Katrina replied. Calumon and Bowmon floated back to the two teens. "Hey, we should get together tonight and go out. You know, like old times?"

Lindy nodded. "Yea, sounds great! I missed you guys so much." Lindy smiled and looked at the contents of the box she brought up. It was dishes and mugs. "I hope Ian and the others are okay."

"Was it hard leaving?" Katrina asked, her hazel eyes becoming sympathetic. Lindy shrugged, pulling out some coffee mugs and putting them away.

"It was more of him letting me go. I still remember the last thing I told him."

"I love you?" Katrina put the toaster on the counter, and plugged it in.

"No, take care of Ai and Mako please." Lindy laughed. It was a touching moment back at the house, before she left to the airport.

"You guys will always be my home, I'll never forget that." she said, tears in her eyes. Yuki and Tai nodded.

"Lindy, try not to party too hard in Canada. I hear those children spend the first week drinking and getting sick. You know better than that right?" Yuki asked, pursing her lips. The strict mother had disciplined Lindy plenty of times over the years for failing tests, staying out too late, and even back talking. The babysitter that Yuki first hired, had turned into her daughter without knowing-hybrid curse or not.

"I will stay focused on my studies Yuki. Please, don't worry." Lindy smiled. Tai put a hand on Lindy's shoulder.

"And make sure no one see's you change into your other self okay? You know Yu would give you trouble."

"Secret is safe. I'll be alright!" The blonde assured the two that her hybrid curse would be kept in control. She turned to her Tamers,

"Oh my Gosh, I'm going to miss you two so much!" Lindy hugged the twins. They grew over the few years so they were up to Lindy's chest now. She promised Ai and Mako she would come back on the 'Thanksgiving' holidays.

"We're going to miss you." Mako pouted. Ai agreed threatening to come to Canada herself if Lindy didn't come home.

Finally, she turned to Ian who smirked.

"Are ya seriously gunna hug me? Or are ya gunna do anything else mushy since that what ya usually do?" He said, his Brooklyn accent floated through Lindy's ears. The hybrid gave a grin.

"Yes Ian. C'mon, I'm going to miss you too."

"Whatever toots." Ian shuffled uncomfortably like he wanted to say more."...but ya can always come back when ya get bored of Canada." He blushed while Linds planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Just take care of Ai and Mako while I'm gone okay? I'll see you guys later!" she hopped in the taxi and the car sped away to the airport.

"I'm going to check up on the others." Lindy announced, after she finished putting away some dishes for Katrina. "Calumon, c'mon! You're going to meet the other Digimon!"

"Oh boy, more friends!" Calumon cried and snuggled into Lindy's arms who laughed lightly and waved at Katrina and Bowmon. "Later!"

Crossing the hall, she knocked on PJ's door. Some techno music was playing inside. After a second attempt, the red head opened the door. He adjusted his glasses,

"Hey, good to see you. Come in." The blonde teen walked in and Calumon once again, popped out and went to Kunemon who was resting on the couch.

The apartment was the same design and layout as Katrina's. However, PJ already made a dash to put up videogame posters, his computer, and his comic book collection. There was Spiderman, Green Lantern, Superman, even X-Men. The teen was the nerd of the group, and he enjoyed it.

"Any girls in your life, PJ?" Lindy teased while PJ blushed a bright red and became very focused at hooking up his computer tower. Without looking, he spoke to Lindy.

"You know who I like Lindy." the Tamer grumbled. "But, she likes Cam who is clueless...and still a jackass."

"Katrina will come around, don't worry." Lindy replied. The ginger tamer shrugged and while glancing at Calumon who was playing with a unfrightened Kunemon.

"He sure knows how to be social." PJ chuckled. The blonde concurred,

"Hey, want to hang out with us tonight? Just like old times."

A short pause. PJ finished hooking up some wires and turned on the computer. It whined and came to life, thriving.

"Yeah, I'm down for that."

The details were set up with everyone else, and Lindy came back into her apartment with Calumon. Closing the door, she leaned against it and sighed. All of her old friends are here, and she couldn't be happier!

Calumon enjoyed meeting Tiguramon, Bakemon, Gazimon, and Agumon but most of all, he loved Bowmon and Kunemon. He gasped at Lindy while they were unloading some towels for the bathroom.

"Arn't you going to call Impmon?" The idea of giving the little imp heck reappeared in Lindy mind and she went over to her cell phone.

"Oh! Yes, thank you Calumon for reminding me." Picking up her dark pink cell phone, she dialled the long distance number and let it ring a few times until a sleepy voice picked up. If Lindy wasn't annoyed, she would have thought it was cute.

"Wada want?"

"What the HELL were you thinking Impmon?!" Lindy cried, pacing around the apartment. "Sending Calumon with me? Do you even trust me?"

"Woah, toots. Heh." the voice became awake within seconds. "Sorry, didn't know it was ya at first. How's the trip?" Linds could hear his grin and she frowned.

"Don't change the subject, Impy. How could you backstab me like this?"

"Toots, hold up. Ya callin' me just cause of this? Ya should be grateful I got someone to watch ya back!"

"No Impmon! I said I could do this alone but you had to go and steal the poor guy from Jeri!"

Lindy felt bad. Jeri lost her digimon a long time ago and since then, Calumon had been a star for her. They weren't bonded as Tamer and digimon, but he kept her happy. The hybrid couldn't imagine how Jeri felt right now.

"She agreed with this!" Impmon retorted. "I didn't just steal him-and besides, he was gunna drive me nuts with him here, all the time!"

The teen sighed and bit her lip. If Jeri was alright with it...

"Just so you know Impmon when I get back, I'm kicking your butt."

"Aw, toots! C'mon, don't be like that!" He whined, she could already imagine him rolling his eyes.

Lindy softened a little at his tone. It was rude to just wake him up and give him heck in the middle of the night (for him). She finished the conversation telling him she made the trip and was alright. She hung up and looked at Calumon who whimpered. Lindy felt completely guilty.

"Sorry you had to see that, Calumon."

Finally, half of the room was organized with Lindy's belongings with the help of Calumon. A soft knock at the door interrupted the two. Quietly, Lindy look though the peep-hole, shooed Calumon away and opened the door to reveal a girl around her age.

She was very pretty. The teenager could have easily passed for a model. Her locks of dark brown hair fell gracefully around her shoulders. Sparkling light, blue eyes shone as she spoke in a pleasant voice,

"Hey! You must be my new neighbour! I'm Lisa Rose. I heard you moving in today and wanted to welcome you." The tanned girl held out a hand and Lindy shook it numbly.

Did she just say 'Rose'? Could she be related to her old family? Nah, she tossed the thought away and gave a trademark 'Lindy smile'.

"Lindy Ramen. Yeah, I just moved here today. I'm attending Brock University for my first year."

"Oh really? Me too! This is my first year on my own so I kinda hope I get lucky with stuff." Lisa handed Lindy a container of cookies. "Thought you would want these. I always bake in my spare time so whenever you like something sweet, I can always make you something."

Lindy gratefully accepted the gift and thanked her. Bowing, she looked up at Lisa who raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry, I just moved back from Japan. I got really used to their customs."

Lisa understood immediately and made a 'o' expression with her mouth.

"What's it like there?"

"It's…chaotic." Lindy replied laughing thinking about the adventures she had there. After briefly chatting, Lindy's alarm went off on her cellphone. The sun was setting. Lindy bid farewell to Lisa. Calumon floated near the box of cookies and sniffed. His mouth watered. They did smell delicious.

"You want some? I'm not that hungry." Lindy gave the cheering digimon the cookies and he went off to scarf them down.

After a few minutes, Lindy felt herself change and glow. Shrinking to the size of a toddler, her peach skin was replaced with dark blue fur. The teen's blonde hair was gone but two dark blue floppy horn like ears were there instead. A sea green bandanna was around her neck and on her three fingered hands were matching gloves. The cross necklace was on top of the bandana and another cross was showing on her stomach. On each foot, were three white claws. Lindy's face had a white mask like with big sea green eyes, a black button nose, and a small fang that stuck out of her mouth. A tail appeared behind her with a barbed tip.

"It was only a matter of time." Lindy sighed sadly and told Calumon that she was going to go visit the others and asked if he wanted to come along.

"Yay! Okay!" he cried, moving a little slower since he ate a whole bunch of cookies. Lindy knocked on Marianna's door that was right beside hers As soon as it opened, Lindy and Calumon scrambled in.

"Woah! I forgot about that. It's been so long since I seen you like this." Marianna remarked. Lindy grinned.

"Yep, still a hybrid and cuter than ever." Marianna scoffed rolling her dark brown eyes.

"Tiguramon is way cuter than you, Lindy. Hell, even Calumon can be cuter than you."

"Whatever," Lindy waved at Luke and Bakemon who were setting up the television. "Ready to go out tonight?"

"Yea, we were going to put Gazimon and Tiguramon in charge of everyone. Is Calumon going to go with them?" Marianna grabbed her purse. Luke and Bakemon finished setting up the television and was ready to head out.

"Will I be able to play with the others?" Calumon poked his head out of a room. Tiguramon nodded.

"All the digimon are going to be there."

The small white digimon cried a 'yes' and jumped on Tiguramon's back. Lindy climbed on also.

"May we have a ride?" Lindy grinned when Tiguramon agreed and the group made their way to Ally's apartment. Marianna knocked gently on room 204. Cam opened it and grinned.

"Yo, come in." he opened the door fully and they all slipped in quietly.

Inside Ally's apartment, it was decorated to her personality to the tee. The bare walls were replaced with various posters of her favourite actors, and celebrities. Her precious shoe closet was set up, with her Jimmy Choo shoes on the top (her pride and joy). Her bags were all organized, and various scarf's were hanging around. Of course, one could not mistake the vast collection of alcohol bottles, ready to be consumed. Ally defensively told the others that she was going to wait until the first week past at least to crack them out. No reason to earn the 'party girl' reputation too quickly.

Lindy felt extremely giddy. Look at all these bags! How did she live without her name brands? Oh right, she thought. Lindy promised Impmon to take it easy on the 'fashion'. Still, she secretly hoarded handbags she found at sample sales. So far, the imp hadn't noticed the slowly bursting part of her closet that contained them.

"Woah, forgot about Lindy like that." Cam admitted, while Lindy gave an odd look to the athletic Tamer.

"How could you forget? You are gong to see me more often now that I'm neighbours with one of my best friends." Lindy grinned hugging Marianna. The two chatted happily about sleepovers, makeovers, and gossiping late into the night. It was going to be great!

"Alright, looks like we are all ready to go." Luke announced looking at the two different groups of Tamers and digimon. The digimon were going to spend the night in the room while the Tamers (and Lindy) went out.

"Ground rules, guys." Ally called to the digimon. "Gazimon and Tiguramon are in charge! Don't leave the room and don't be too loud. If the phone rings then pretend to be the answering machine and if there is someone at the door then keep quiet until they go away. Okay. Rules settled, lets go." The short teen grabbed her purse and left along with the others.

In the hall Lindy jumped on Katrina who jolted in surprise.

"I can't be walking on my own and someone's coming." Lindy whispered and did her 'stuffed animal' act. She was not the best at it but the person would probably be just passing by.

"Oy! You the new kids?" A man in his late forties with a beer belly came into view and waddled over to the 'kids'. His bald head was shining and his small beady eyes glared at the teens, but especially at the 'stuffed animal'. Everyone tensed up at the sight of the man. This must be the land lord that hates digimon.

"Yea, we are." Marianna said, brandishing a fake smile. Lindy held down the urge to 'Badabooming' the large man for calling her kid.

"Well, some ground rules," The land lord counted on his chubby fingers. "Pay the rent, no digimon, and no parties, understand? Give me a call if something goes wrong." He grunted and waddled past them and turned down the hall. Cam snorted.

"Shall we call him Mr. Penguin?"

The rest laughed at the nickname. Mr. Penguin could use a break from the pizza and pop.

"So, where should we go?" Katrina decided to change the subject and everyone shouted suggestions.

"Movies!" Shouted Marianna.

"Laser Tag!" Cam called out.

"Brock University!"

Everyone stopped at looked at PJ who sheepishly grinned.

"Just an idea, I thought the laser tag was the dumbest."

Cam narrowed his brown eyes at the ginger teen.

"It's not stupid! It's a great sport!"

"I agree with the movie. I can sneak in there." Lindy spoke, setting herself free outside to the wonders of St. Catharines. Upon spotting a telephone poll, she jumped up and followed the group. She preferred high ground; as it was her way of travel at night with Impmon.

"What movie?" asked Marianna.

"Blood and Chocolate!"

"Resident Evil: Extinction!"

"Transformers!"

After several minutes of arguments they finally decided on 'Blood and Chocolate'. The trip to the movies was pretty boring save for Lindy almost falling out of a tree. Once the group got into the movies, Lindy made a break to the theatre without being seen. Being sneaky was now becoming natural as she went by unnoticed and was now in the theatre, sitting on a support beam. The dark blue digimon awaited for the rest of the group to walk in. She saved them all seats and was handed some popcorn.

"Thanks." The hybrid settled down in a chair between Marianna and PJ. Not a lot of people were in the theatre, which suited Lindy just fine. As she watched the movie, she noticed Marianna and Luke cuddling up to each other and feeding each other popcorn. A bolt of jealousy shot through her.

Lindy missed Impmon a lot, she realized. She would remember the times when they would snuggle up to movies, or he would walk her to school holding her hand or even when she sneaked a kiss with him. It made her heart ache a little.

On the flip side, Lindy realized she was back home with her friends! She was going to be fine and it would only be about two months until she would visit Impy, Ai and Mako again. But, a small voice in her mind told her to keep Impmon in her thoughts. He always did have a knack for finding trouble.
