They all awoke the next morning feeling refreshed, all but Sabine and Hera whose minds were fixed on the previous nights events. Kanan saw this and brought Ezra over to the two, Sabine immediately gave a bewildered, if happy, Ezra a hug and Hera gave Kanan a hug, at length Kanan said "What you saw last night is only one possibility, not the only one, for as Master Yoda said 'Always in motion, the future is'" they seemed reassured a little at his words, while Ezra completely lost asked "Uuh…what happened last night…"
Sabine looked like she was going to cry at the memory, so Hera stepped in and said "We" motioning to Sabine "Saw what might happen in the future, if Frodo fails…", "Hera" Kanan stepped in and said "Tell me…what exactly did you see." After telling Kanan and Ezra what they saw both were quiet until Ezra said "Well, that won't happen, I won't let it!" smiling at his padawans enthusiasm Kanan said "You mean we won't let it." And they all walked off to get breakfast with the others.
By the River Anduin… Galadriel was about to see them off, they were to travel downriver until they reached the point where they would go overland again, toward Mordor…
Galadriel brought forward gifts for each fellowship member, besides a new cloak for each; Aragorn got a hunting knife, Merry and Pippin got daggers, Sam got elvish rope, Boromir got a magnificent sword belt, Legolas got a wondrous longbow, Frodo got some sort of vial with a bright liquid inside, and Gimli got what he asked for…three strands of Galadriel's hair… then the crew of the Ghost…
"To Zeb, guardian of honor" said Galadriel "a shield worthy of the kings guard" presenting Zeb with a magnificent elvish shield, he was only able to say "Oh…um, thank you.", "To the daughters of the stars, we give these blades, they have seen use before and have never failed the free folk" presenting Hera and Sabine with two magnificent curved swords, they simply bowed and accepted the gifts, promising themselves that they would not let the vision come to pass…
"To Ezra, we give a noldorian dagger, for when things are darkest" Galadriel handed Ezra a dagger, which he accepted with a bow and immediately tucked in his boot.
Kanan wasn't expecting anything so he was surprised when Galadriel stopped in front of him and had a servant produce a magnificent longbow saying "To the master Jedi, a bow of mallorn wood, let its string sing" he graciously accepted, mentally noting to get some pointers from Legolas.
Chopper shook and beeped as Galadriel approached, she smiled down at the little droid and kneeled before him saying "Chopper, you shall get the blessing of the elves" and handed him a small stone, him shaking before grabbing it and placing it in one of his compartments.
Celeborn now walked over to Kanan and Aragorn and said "Every league you travel south the danger will increase, Mordor orcs now patrol the eastern shores. Nor will you find safety on the western bank, strange creatures bearing the mark of the white hand have been seen on our borders; Seldom do orcs travel in the open under the sun, as these creatures do."
They all climbed into the boats and pushed off, glimpsing Galadriel standing on the bank holding her hand up in farewell, then she was gone…
