The Saga: Successors

Chapter 11: Growing Pains
Authors Note: I wouldn't say this is a 'filler' chapter, but it just kinda puts some emphasis on Ai and Mako's relationships with their partners, Ally's feelings towards Gazimon, the legend, and finally we are introduced to another Demon Lord. Plus, Mako get's brownie points for being a little bit of a bad boy here. Him and Ian are funny to write together.
Disclaimer: I do not own digimon. I own Lindy, Ian (sorta?-like the name? Yeah, let's just got with the name), Bowmon, Katrina, Ally. That's pretty much it.
Ai moaned as she woke up on the couch. Last night was hectic she thought. Between her visitor and Beelzemon's nightmare-it was a wonder she got any sleep. After he took off, Lindy made them go back to bed, saying that he just needed to cool off. The Tamer remembered how Lindy was trying to play off her wound.
"Lindy, you're hurt." Ai gently sat the hybrid down. She told Mako to run into the bathroom and get the first aid kit. Lindy tried protesting, but the brunette was firm. Eventually, the dark blue rookie allowed the twins to bandage her up.
"You two shouldn't be doing this."
"We're your Tamers. We understand sometimes we gotta take care of you too." Mako replied. "Besides, you take care of us-we want to return the favour."
Lindy blushed. Ai asked her why Beelzemon sometimes separates himself from everyone. The twins notice it more and more often, how he seems aloof and lonely when everyone else socializes.
"I'm not completely sure, Ai. There are still some things we don't know about each other."
"But you've guys have been together forever!"
"So?" Lindy rose an eyebrow. "Being with Impy doesn't mean I know everything about him. I have my secrets, he has his."
"You two shouldn't keep secrets from each other. Mom taught us that bad things happen when you do." Mako recited. Lindy smiled.
"I'll be sure to say that to him when he comes back. You two head back to bed. It'll be okay in the morning."
Ai grew curious. Her partners had secrets? Well, she had secrets that only she knew and Mako probably had secrets that only he knew...but still. Partners should share everything. The Tamer decided to put it to rest. She slowly sat up on the couch and cringed at the pain she was receiving.
"Stupid cramps." Ai muttered. It felt like a knife dug into her lower abdomen. Being a woman sucked-pain twenty four seven, pissing off at people for no reason, and she couldn't do a thing about it! A faint blush crept up to her cheeks. What an awkward conversation last night was with Lindy...but at least she knew she wasn't going to die. Lindy was pretty cool for helping her out.
Ai's partner came up the stairs carrying some aspirin and a glass of water. She looked better than last night and was dressed in a simple sweater and jeans.
Lindy settled the aide on the table. "Here, cramps are going to be bad the first few times so I thought these might help you."
Ai thanked her and took them. "Thanks again...for last night."
"It's no problem. Girls need to stick together. When your mom get's home we'll talk to her. I missed her this morning when I was talking to Impy."
"Ian's home?" Ai looked excited, about to jump off the couch. Lindy put a hand out to stop her from running off.
"He's sleeping. I don't think talking to him now is the best. You can see him after our little spa date."
"We're still going to the spa today?" the ten year old made a face.
"Oh, c'mon Ai. It's not that bad! We'll just go for a manicure and maybe a massage," Lindy winced as she stood up. Her back was still sore. "Okay, just a manicure."
When Ai and Lindy had left for the spa, Mako walked downstairs and made himself breakfast. Today, he was going to do some skateboarding and get ready for his date tonight. Only thing was, he had no idea where to take Suzie. Where did Lindy and Ian go for dates? Mako pondered as he poured his cereal and sat at the couch watching T.V. About fifteen minutes later, Ian groggily stumbled up the stairs.
Mako didn't say anything to him. He was curious of course of what happened last night, but Ian was always a little...grouchy in the morning. Lindy was the worst for morning grouchiness, as she refused to acknowledge anyone until she had a cup of coffee.
Ian came back down to sit on the couch across form Mako eating a bowl of cereal as well. The two didn't speak for another few minutes.
"Munchkin."
"Yeah?"
Ian rubbed his eyes. "What the hell are we watchin'?"
Mako looked at the T.V. It was one of his favourite cartoons, Dragon Ball Z. It was one of the good battle scenes. When the brown haired child explained, Ian snorted.
"These cartoons are wacked..."
"Ian are you...alright?" Mako settled the cereal bowl down. "Last night, you looked freaked. Ai and I were worried about you."
The hybrid didn't say anything at first. He tried to look interested in eating his cereal but it wasn't working. Ian adjusted himself to face Mako.
"Munchkin, you remember how we went to that crazy doctor and had to spill our guts?"
"Yeah, our therapy stuff." Mako remembered how much it sucked. The doctor was constantly asking how they felt, wondering what he felt when he was held hostage by that crazy Erika woman. It happened so long ago, but Mako could remember that gun being the only thing he saw...then that unspeakable pain in his back when Beelzemon was shot.
"And ya remember how I told ya and Ai about my dreams? The one with Beelzewomon?"
"Yeah."
"Well," Ian looked up. "I still get those dreams sometimes. They can get pretty stinkin' awful. I felt bad that I hurt Lindy last night and that's why I kinda ditched. Ya gotta understand that."
"I know, but you didn't mean it-"
"Doesn't matter, kid." Ian narrowed his eyes. "What if that was you or Ai? I would never forgive myself if I ever hurt you two."
Mako looked square at his partner.
"You would never hurt us, Ai and I know that. Ian, please tell us what's going on-we're not five anymore."
"I'm tryin', Mako-it ain't easy." Ian laughed bitterly. "Ya gotta know that that..."
The conversation died for a little bit. Mako was more lax when it came to pulling Ian out of his ruts. The boy had patience, something that Ian and Ai both lacked. He sometimes found himself like Lindy, more calm and understanding. Mako grabbed his cereal bowl and walked away.
"Well, you can start by telling me where I can take Suzie tonight. I have no idea what girls like."
"Join the club." Ian muttered. Mako came back down and sat beside his partner.
"Well, where do you take Lindy out on dates?"
Ian's smile became wide-as if he remembered a good joke. He munched a little on the cereal. "Toots is in charge of dates. I think only one time I tried to take her out on a date."
"And?"
"It didn't go well."
"Well, what about the first date?"
Mako never asked Ian what his first date with Lindy was like. To him, they had always been together-as a couple. It seemed bizarre of a fact that once upon a time, Lindy had just been their babysitter-nothing more. Now, she was their partner along with Ian.
"We went go-karting and out to that burger place I like."
The Tamer's brown eyes lit up. Perfect! A causal date at a burger joint! It was simple, nothing to crazy, and probably in his price range. Ian rolled his eyes.
"Well, glad I sorted out your date with the Princess. Toots is gunna watch ya two tonight."
"What?!" Mako whined. "Ian! I don't need a supervisor-"
"Don't blame me, ya mom's orders. I could give less of a crap who you're goin' out with."
"I'm ten years old-"
Ian raised an eyebrow.
"So? Ya mom doesn't care."
Mako grinned. "Can't you keep Lindy busy tonight? It will be so lame if I show up with her to pick up Suzie."
The hybrid gave a sly grin. He got comfortable on the couch, looking content where he was placed. Mako groaned. He knew that look. Mako bit his lip, and stood up, preparing to make a deal with the devil.
"Okay, what do you want?"
Ian stood up, towering Mako.
"Chores. Two weeks."
Mako glared.
"One week."
"Two weeks, and I'll give you extra cash for ya date."
"How much?"
Ian thought for a moment.
"Thousand yen-"
Mako interrupted, "-Two weeks and three thousand yen."
"Hell, no. Two weeks, thousand yen, and I won't tell Ai about you making out with that stuffed animal."
Mako growled.
"I never made out-"
"Ahem."
Ian cleared his throat and took out a picture of Mako locking lips with one of the stuffed animals. Mako's face paled and his cheeks changed into the brightest of reds. Ian looked smug. There was no use trying to take the photo-he was taller by several feet. The teen hybrid spoke in a unusually sweet voice.
"Two weeks of chores, and I'll delete this."
Mako looked like he wanted to kill him.
"Why did you take a picture?"
"Why do you have to make out with stuffed animals? Poor things never did anythin' to ya. Hope ya not gunna do that tonight."
"Fine." Mako blushed harder. "Two weeks, and you better delete that photo."
Ian shook Mako's hand, looking amused.
"Perfect, I'll delete it when you start the chores."
Sometimes, Mako wondered how Lindy hadn't killed their partner with his antics. He went upstairs to grab some cleaning supplies and got to work. While he scrubbed the counters in the kitchen, a new plan was forming in his head...
Mako crept along the side of the house so he could be unseen. Peeking around into the backyard, he smiled as he saw it. The beautiful black demonic bike also known as Behemoth. The bike was a living thing as it drove by itself and listened to it's master Beelzemon-or in the daytime, Ian. He remembered the day when the family met the bike. His mom freaked out-saying there was no way him or Ai would ever touch that thing. Even Lindy was nervous at the bike. Ian always defended the bike, saying it was his friend. Still, the rule was no one but Ian may touch Behemoth.
The devilish personality was shining through the young Tamer. Since Ian took that little photo, he was going to get revenge by taking Behemoth on a ride. That way, if he tried to pull anything Mako could say Ian let him take the bike. Mom would give an earful to Ian and he will think twice before blackmailing me, Mako thought evilly.
As well, a gentleman like Mako should give Suzie a proper ride. All the boy needed to do, was convince the bike to help him out.
"Hey, Behemoth. Are you awake?" Mako whispered. The bike rumbled softly. Good it's up, he thought and sat down. "Listen, I need a little favour. I know you're Ian's, but since I'm his Tamer I should have some control over you. Right?"
Behemoth didn't respond, so Mako continued,
"I was wondering if I can borrow you for tonight. I got this really important date and I'll make it up to you. How about if I wax you for the next week."
The bike rumbled angrily and Mako cringed.
"Two weeks?"
Behemoth seemed pleased as it purred slowly-riding up to Mako. He hugged the bike and laughed.
"Okay, okay, two weeks it is. But, no telling Ian okay? This is just between you and me. Just because I'm nice, I'll throw in the wash to make sure you won't tell him."
The brown eyed kid smiled. Mako never knew it was going to be this easy to convince Behemoth. However, he had chores and tending to the bike for the next two weeks but going out with Suzie would be worth it all. Now, he had to get ready for his date tonight!
It was in the afternoon, when Lindy and Ai returned home from their spa trip. The girl's hair was curled and had some light brown highlights in it, while Lindy put some washable blue highlights into her hair. They both had manicures and chatted happily about what Lindy did at school and what Ai had to deal with back home.
"Lindy I have to admit it. This was pretty fun." Ai chimed, walking through the front door.
"Yea, it was wasn't it?" Lindy stepped into the house with a grin, but her smile faded as she Yuki was waiting for them. She didn't look too happy.
"Mom, look! I got highlights." Ai showed off her hair and Yuki inspected it. With a nod of approval, she put her arms around her daughter.
"They look nice-Ai, did something happen last night...with the bed sheets?"
"Oh." Ai looked to Lindy who nodded her head. "Um, yeah something did."
Yuki was on Lindy instantly.
"Why was Ai at a digimon battle?! I thought you two promised you wouldn't take them to those anymore!"
Lindy put a hand out. "Woah, wait! There wasn't a battle-"
"-There was blood!"
"-Ai had had her little visitor last night." Yuki's expression became concerned and filled with worry as she pestered Ai with questions. Ai pushed her mother away.
"Mom, I'm okay! I was a little scared at first, but Lindy helped. She thought it would be fun if we went to the spa today. We're sorry we didn't tell you right away. Lindy was really good about it though!" Ai pouted, crossing her arms. "It wasn't that bad coming from her."
"Still, I want to talk to you about it." Yuki said gently, hugging Ai. "I can't believe that your growing up so fast, Ai."
"Mom, I'm only ten." Ai rolled her eyes. She went inside and left Yuki and Lindy alone. The two looked at each other.
"Thank you for helping her out with that..." Yuki said in a earnest voice. Lindy shrugged.
"It was pretty awkward, but I managed. I'm glad she has a supporting mom like you."
"Well, I'm here for you too. I know I'm not your actual mother but I would like to think you can talk to me about anything." The mother looked at Lindy expectantly. "I don't have to give you a talk do I?"
Lindy shook her head, furiously blushing. "No, I'm good."
Yuki laughed.
"How about this dress, Lopmon?" Suzie asked holding out a pink dress to the chocolate coloured digimon. Lopmon nodded happily.
"That looks nice too!"
"Seesh! No offense Suzie but you always wear pink!" Terriermon complained, sitting on the bed beside Lopmon. "How about you change colours?"
The digimon narrowed her eyes.
"It would be considerate to help Suzie out for her first date. I heard with humans this is an important time. If she wants to wear pink, then let her!"
Suzie blushed as she went back into her closet. She had taken a shower and was all ready expect for her outfit and jewelry. The problem was the outfit. Although she had a wide variety of clothes, she wanted something that she didn't pester too hard over-but still looked good.
Smiling, she pulled out a simpler outfit. It was her favourite dark wash jeans with a white blouse. Lopmon pointed to a pink jacket.
"How about that on top?"
"Perfect!" Suzie cried. "You're so good at this, Lopmon."
Lopmon rubbed the back of her head blushing. "Aw, thanks Suzie."
Once finished, the Tamer stepped out of her dressing closet and twirled around for a look. The two Digimon giggled and smiled.
"You're going to knock him dead." Terriermon chimed in.
"I think I'll agree with him for once. You will do great Suzie." Lopmon encouraged and hugged her partner.
A sudden knock came from the door and Suzie looked.
"Hey, princess? Can I come in?"
"Yeah sure, dad." Suzie skipped to the door and opened it to reveal her farther who looked around.
"Have you seen my-Oh what's the occasion, Suzie?"
"I'm going on a date."
Janyu rose an eyebrow. He never knew Suzie was going on a date. Suzie looked beautiful-as usual. The youngest daughter had always been in a soft spot in his heart. Suzie apologized, saying she was going to tell him when her dad came home.
"Oh, that's alright, princess. Who's the boy?" Janyu asked, his voice a little higher than usual.
"Mako Ramen."
"The Tamer boy?"
"Yep, that's him. We're going out for dinner at this burger place."
"Do you need a ride?"
"Mako said he was going to take care of it." Suzie looked at the clock. Seven fifty five. He would be here soon, she thought and turned to her dad.
"I'm going to go wait for Mako outside. I'll have my cell on. Oh, and dad." Suzie said before leaving the room. Janyu nodded slowly. "Thanks for letting me go. Most father's wont let their daughter's date until their older."
"It's nothing, Suzie. I trust you." Janyu replied, smiling warmly. When she left, he turned to the two digimon. His warm smile was gone.
"Can I trust you two to keep an eye on her?" The voice became stern and serious. Janyu trusted his daughter, but his fatherly instinct wanted to make sure she had someone watching the two children. Terriermon and Lopmon were perfect for the job.
"You can count on us!" Terriermon chimed.
"Just don't let her see you."
"Will do!" Lopmon ran out with her counterpart.
In the darkness of the chambers, the legendary digimon growled. He was not happy his plans were being foiled every time. The Tamers were getting stronger which would be harder to complete chaos. It was what he lived, he breathed, he needed to achieve. And nothing was going to stop him.
"Lilithmon."
Her face could be barely seen as only her plumb red lips and white skin could be shown. Her lips parted slightly,
"Yes, my Lord?"
"Take care of that Gazimon. I am tired of playing games. Make them come to the Digital World. I will kill them all here."
"Yes, my Lord."
"Do that and go back to your castle and stay there until I need you. I still have control over you and the others. Don't do anything hasty, my servant."
The digimon sighed and spoke softly, like it was coated in honey and sugar. To anyone else, they would have been hypnotized by the sounds coming from the demon of lust.
"Would you require anything else, my Lord?"
UltimateChaosmon turned away.
"No, you are excused."
"As you wish." She whispered and vanished into the shadows.
Gazimon always thought life being partnered with a Tamer would be filled with wonderful adventures, and gaining vast amounts of wisdom from experiences and battle the forces of evil. While, she and Ally did well at the bar and she digivolved into Sangloupmon, they still had some slight kinks in their relationship.
Ally liked to party, play loud music, and spend ridiculous amounts of money on clothes and appearances. Gazimon liked quiet piano songs, books, and question everything she could lay her eyes on. The two just seemed like polar opposites. Why was she her partner? Frequently, they would butt heads.
"Gazimon, I can go out and have fun-it's not a crime." Ally said, putting on a nice halter top.
"But, there is so much better use for your time! Why don't you study for a few more hours?"
"Because, I know I'll ace my classes without studying. I'm not a bookworm like you."
Gazimon narrowed her eyes. "And I'm not a reckless partier like you. How many guys have you brought home since we started to live here?"
"None of your business!" Ally snapped, closing her makeup mirror. She was good looking, with large brown eyes, and a small body. However, the Tamer wished she was a little more taller. It sucked being the shortest in her group.
"It is!" The grey rookie stood up. "I don't want you to get hurt..."
Ally and Gazimon were not the perfect team like Marianna and Tiguramon. In fact, Ally was a little jealous of Marianna. It seemed that the Latino Tamer had everything worked out. Perfect digimon, perfect boyfriend, perfect life. Everything was all rosy while Ally had...nothing.
The Tamer lost her parents a year before she met Gazimon. They died in a car accident and since then, Ally lived with her cousin Cam and her uncle. It wasn't a happy time. Since then, she displaced her feelings of loneliness. It wasn't hard to figure the short teen out-and Gazimon found out everything within the first month of being partnered with her.
"I'm fine." Ally mumbled, not putting her makeup on as enthusiastically. She was supposed to go out tonight with some guy to a frat party. Now, the mood was killed.
"You miss them." The digimon hugged Ally. "I understand that...Ally, I might have never had parents but I can see that they had a impact on your life. Your mom and dad wouldn't want you to be hooking up with every guy you see."
Ally gazed at her digimon.
"Gazimon..."
"Just...let's stay in tonight."
The brunette sighed and texted on her phone. The text was sent and she picked up her partner. "Okay, I'll stay in. Not for you-but for mom and dad."
The rain pounded the window of their apartment loudly. Lately, it had been raining profusely, not letting up the slightest. Strange, it never rained this much this time of the year. It wouldn't be a surprise if a flood had started...
A sudden knock came from the door and the two jumped.
"Who could that be?" Ally whispered as the door knocked again but this time, it sounded more urgent.
"Gazimon! Ally! Open please!" came a muffled call. Gazimon and Ally widened her eyes. That was Katrina... Opening the door carefully, the tall slender teen barged in along with Calumon and Bowmon drenched in water. They were shivering, holding some things.
"Like, oh, my God. What happened to you guys?" Ally cried.
Gazimon pulled out a few towels from the closet. The trio accepted them gratefully, while trying to get warm. Calumon and Bowmon were shivering next to one another. Katrina wring her hair while she explained her unfortunate predicament,
"I was coming back from my shopping when I found Calumon and Bowmon sitting on top of the table with the floor flooded in our apartment! I had to get my homework and text books out and I couldn't save anything else. I can't even contact Mr. Penguin since he's away. Can we spend the night here since you have the biggest apartment?"
"Oh, of course! I can't let you three be homeless." Ally cried, taking the homework and textbooks off of Katrina's hands and placed them down. "You're more than welcome to stay here. We have an extra bedroom anyways."
Katrina sighed in relief. She pulled out a Rubix cube and tossed it to Calumon.
"I saved it for you, Calumon. Here you go." Calumon had an adorable clueless expression and picked it up gently. He was enthralled with the device, twisting and turning the toy in his tiny claws. Bowmon and Gazimon watched intently. seeing if either could figure it out.
"So, I heard about you and Cam went on a date." Ally gave a sly smile. Katrina put a finger to her lips and pulled Ally into the bedroom. Once alone, Katrina explained the whole scenario and how awful the date had went. By the end, the short Tamer had a sympathetic face.
"That's terrible. I'm so sorry, Katrina. I knew you really liked him."
"It's fine," the raven haired teen waved it off. "But, I wanted to ask Gazimon more about the legend of UltimateChaosmon. She told me a little about it and with that Etemon claiming it was behind the attacks so far, we need as much information as we can get."
"Have you told Marianna yet? She needs to hear about this." Ally mentioned their leader of the group.
"She's been busy. When Lindy gets back, we can have a meeting." Katrina noticed Ally was all dressed up. "Oh, I'm sorry were you getting ready to go out?"
"Uh, no not anymore-"
"-Shit, I'm sorry-"
"-No, really. Gazimon convinced me to stay in tonight." Ally frowned looking away. She let a little laugh escape her lips. "Do you ever feel like you don't belong with Bowmon?"
Katrina's became perplexed. Where had that question came from?
"Well, no. Me and Bowmon-" She took a second to find her words. "We understand each other."
"Figures, I'm the messed up one." Ally said.
Katrina settled on the bed.
"Ally, talk to me: what's going on?"
"It's me and Gazimon." She sighed. "We're nothing alike. I thought our digimon were supposed to be compatible with us. Instead, it's like, she reads-I party-she says intelligent things-I sleep around. Not that I'm embarrassed about sleeping around-it's just who I am." Ally winked. "But, Gazimon should have a Tamer that's like her...not me."
Oddly, Katrina did something unlike her. She pulled the smaller teen into a embrace. Ally could smell Katrina's perfume and feel the wool sweater she was wearing.
"Ally," she began. "You and Gazimon are different. That's perfectly fine. If you two were alike, I would be afraid for this whole apartment."
The two girls giggled while Ally slapped Katrina, playfully. She continued.
"Being partners isn't easy work. It requires effort and constant communication. Don't think you're a failure-"
"But you can digivolve Bowmon to ShineStarmon! I luckily got Gazimon to change...and this crest." Ally pulled it out. "It's wisdom! I have no freaking wisdom!"
Katrina put the crest down. "The whole point of having digimon isn't to make them gain their levels as fast as we can, or make them super strong. It's to be with them and protect both worlds from anything bad."
"I did that at the bar...by saving Al and Gazimon." Ally whispered. She remembered how once she saw how determined Gazimon was to stopping the Ogremon and Fugamon and it made her step up and help.
"Exactly. We're not super heroes, but we have a duty to helping others." Katrina pulled back form the hug. Ally looked star struck.
"You're really good at the whole Yoda thing."
Katrina blushed.
"Thanks. Just don't doubt you and Gazimon. Together, you two make a great team."
The ladies went out of the bedroom, and saw Calumon had given up on the puzzle. He was interested in Ally's collections of handbags.
"How come you have so many? Huh?"
"I like my variety." Ally replied, cuddling with the white in-training. "Gotcha!"
"Gazimon, can I talk to you?" Katrina asked and the rookie nodded.
"Sure."
"How much do you know about the legend of UltimateChaosmon?" Gazimon shrugged.
"Not the details but I know some stuff about the legend. Why?"
"I think this legend might be real. That Etemon we battled called out that his master was UltimateChaosmon. You're the only one who seems to know a lot about this..."
"It's highly unlikely that an all powerful and all knowing chaotic digimon would be roaming creating havoc upon both of these worlds." The intelligent digimon folded her arms and gave a dismissive look.
"Gazimon, I want to know everything you know." Her hazel eyes connected with pink ones. At last, the rookie gave in and started to explain all she knew.
"Alright, sit down for this one. As you know already know, UltimateChaosmon was destroyed by three special groups. The Holy Angels, the Royal Knights, and the Great Demon Lords. Each had a leader. Daemon-the digimon of wrath, had took charge of the lords." a shiver crept up on everyone. Gazimon continued.
"For the angels, there was a special digimon that no one has ever heard of. In the legends, it says she was white as snow. And lastly, a Gallantmon was in charge of the Royal Knights."
"Alright, you said there was a way they could come back if this Chaos guy was let out...how?" Katrina inquired.
Gazimon looked pensive as she crossed her legs. Her tail flicked around, signalling she was thinking deeply. The answer came to her after a minute.
"The successors of the lost chosen ones would come forth when the worlds were in danger. The Ancient Ones made D-Arcs, and crests for that reason. It was to help the Tamers and digimon. That's why the crests are so important and I was so surprised to see everyone having one here. They are very powerful."
"How would someone know their a chosen one?" Ally came into the conversation.
"Dreams probably. Or some kind of awakening was needed. Also, there was something about a Seer."
"Seer?"
"Someone who had knowledge about the legend..." Gazimon trailed off and everyone knew why. It can't be a coincidence that this digimon know so much information.
"Gazimon, are you the Seer?"
"I..don't know, Katrina. It seems unlikely-I'm just a Gazimon. We're runt digimon-nothing special" The grey virus looked down. Ally frowned.
"No, you're not. Gaz, you are beautiful, intelligent and such a good digimon-"
"-But I'm a virus!" protested Gazimon. "I can't even get that right. I should be tearing up this place or causing mischief like Bakemon!"
"And I'm four foot ten-what's your point? Gazimon, just because you're a virus digimon doesn't mean that you have to be actually evil. I think that's a load of bullshit." Ally flipped her hair back.
"Ally...thank you." the digimon was touched.
"So, there are all these chosen ones supposed to awaken, there is a Seer who helps out with the legend that could be you...anything else?"
"If the legend if actually true, UltimateChaosmon would do anything to kill the Seer." Gazimon gave a dark look.
Katrina and Ally looked at each other. They needed to gather everyone for a meeting. Only, thing was that Lindy wasn't back yet and PJ was away. The week off was taking forever, and now more than ever, they needed the Canadian Tamers united to help figure out the mysterious legend of UltimateChaosmon.
Authors Note: I find the more I read this, the more I find underdeveloped characters. Ally isn't some good girl, but she isn't a sob story either. I wanted to make a strong female Tamer who isn't going to wait around for Prince Charming-she's going to do her own thing and make herself happy first. I think that plus Gazimon's personality deserve a little attention here. The legend stuff I had to switch-it seemed messy. Finally, I'm getting rid of Deciliousmon in this story. She played no part in the legend and Gazimon can take over. You never realize how many characters you have to juggle until the end-it was so hard keeping everything sensible.
Next Chapter: Mako's date and Rika talks to her mother about her dad! Stay tuned.
