Chapter Thirteen: Indramon's Last Stand

Edit Author's Note: Second part of the battle. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I do not own Digimon.

"Look out!" cried Hopemon. She zoomed towards Mako and Suzie and teleported them out of harm's way, behind Indramon. The blast engulfed everything leaving a hole in the wall. Debris crumbled and flew everywhere almost showering upon everyone. Smoke settled after a second revealing the significant damage done where Indramon attacked. The ground shook from its impact and outside the barrier, several screams could be heard.

"Thank you, Hopemon," Suzie clutched tightly to the child hybrid digimon, gaining her breaths back. That was a little too close for comfort she thought.

"Bunny Blast!" Terriermon attacked again, but he knew it was becoming useless. If only Henry was here, they could digivolve and kick the crap out of this purple pony freak. The green and white digimon ran along the wall avoiding a hoof.

"You can't dodge forever little children and digimon. I will catch you!" Indramon chuckled darkly.

Hopemon flew back into battle with Antylamon.

"Any ideas?" Hopemon asked, holding her staff close and narrowing her green eyes.

"Indramon and I used to serve in the same sector of the digital world before he was assigned to the human world," started the rabbit ultimate. "He uses his mouth and that horn of his to attack. If we can break that horn and not listen to what he says, then we can defeat him."

"What can break the horn?"

"Last time Taomon broke it with her attacks," Terriermon piped up. "You two have to combine your attacks!"

"Terriermon is right," Mako threw out an arm. "Hopemon, work with Antylamon to destroy the horn."

"What he said." confirmed Suzie.

"Staff of Fate!"

"Bunny Blades!"

Indramon jumped high in the air to avoid the attacks. It was something odd to see a giant purple horse digimon almost flying into the air. Forcing himself back down, he steeled himself to stomp onto the two ultimate digimon.

"Stomping Ground!"

The two split apart, diving for opposite ends of the street. His hooves crushed the pavement sounding off several car alarms blaring obnoxiously. The quaking earth caused the Tamers to fall down and struggle to get back up. Only Antylamon and Hopemon were unaffected through being in the air or mid jump. Cracks travelled on the side of the restaurant and the neighboring building like it was made of glass.

Hopemon growled,

"If he keeps this up, he's going to do some serious damage."

"Bunny Blades!" Antylamon jumped off from the side of the building and dove straight at Indramon's face. He grunted and tried to smack her away but she was quicker and made a good cut on his face. He snarled using his back hoof to wind up a kick. As soon as the ultimate bunny digimon landed, he struck her hard sending her into a wall.

"Antylamon!" cried Suzie running from her hiding spot to help her partner. Mako gasped,

"Suzie stop!"

"You're 'partner' is pathetic." taunted Indramon, looking straight at Suzie. His eyes were covered by his white mane but he was zeroed in on her debating on killing her or toying with her first.

"N-no. She's not." Suzie sniffed, feeling tears prickle her eyes. She was beyond terrified and she felt like being her small child self again from a long time ago. Then she remembered that she needed to be strong for Antylamon. "She's the strongest digimon I know! And you can never understand that!" Suzie glared her pink eyes hard at Indramon with a card she picked out from her back pocket she swiped it into her D-Arc,

"Digi-Modify! Radiant Form activate!"

A soft pink glow encased the crumpled form of Antylamon and she started to stand upright alert and ready. It felt like a rush of rejuvenation fulfilled her body and she was ready to battle again. Her eyes narrowed,

"Stay away from my Tamer-Bunny Blades!"

The flurry of attacks hit Indramon straight on, one after another. Each gash and wound affected into the Deva digimon made him grunt in pain again and again. Finally, he fell back after a devastating hit from Antylamon's hits and Hopemon's added attack. Indramon knelt down bowing his head and breathing heavily. The attacks took a lot out of him but he was not out of the battle yet.

"Horn of Desolation!"

Hopemon twirled her staff in complex movements and she spread her wings wide.

"Barrier of Promise!"

A wide barrier glittered into view protecting the two ultimates, Terriermon, Suzie and Mako. Hopemon gritted her teeth and felt her power dwindle down. If this kept up, she was going to de-digivolve back into Lindy. Thankfully, the attack died down and Terriermon joined in with Antylamon.

"Bunny Blast!"

"Bunny Blades!"

The attacks hit the horn and it started to crack. A gasp was heard from Indramon and the Tamers smirked.

"Hopemon, one last hit!"

"You got it, Mako! STAFF OF FATE!"

"BUNNY BLADES!" screamed Antylamon slicing the horn upwards and flipped into the air to deliver the final blow. Hopemon charged straight on with her staff and with all her might she smashed the horn. It started to crack again and travel all along the golden horn, slowly crumbling into data. Indramon roared,

"My horn! You insolent pests! You will pay for this! Stomping Ground!"

"Not much without your horn are you, Indramon?" Mako called out, feeling cocky.

"Why don't you come say that to my face, child? Instead of hiding behind your half-breed kid digimon?"

"Kid?" whispered Hopemon. She ruffled her feathers and charged forward ignoring the protests from the others. "Don't call me kid!" she snarled, fire burning in her eyes.

Indramon smirked watching Hopemon teleport left to right. He knew where she was going to strike and spun his hoof back to hit a mid teleporting Hopemon who appeared behind him. She felt something crack and she flung back into a wall with a 'thud'. Her head slammed back and she gave out a cry of pain.

"Hopemon!" Mako dashed forward to his partner who was glowing bright. In a flash, she was back to being just Lindy. The Tamer held her up.

"You okay?"

"Owie." That was all the response the hybrid gave. Suzie frowned.

"Antylamon, Terriermon. You two finish him off."

"With pleasure," Terriermon chimed and took a battle stance.

"A rookie like you can't hurt me-even without my horn." Indramon taunted.

"He's not alone! Meditation Cure!" Antylamon revitalized herself in an instant and felt ready to go. She dashed forward, becoming a mere blur to everyone else. The rabbit digmon's axes spun around and she made a strike right into the heart of Indramon who was too slow to avoid. He grunted feeling the impact and the inner core of himself cracking. Data started to leak from his chest and into the sky.

"I..." Indramon breathed heavily. He gritted his horse teeth and hung his head low. "...will not be deleted. Not...today! UGH!" A blinding flash and powerful wave of energy came from within him. His form started to morph and change into something larger, and deadlier. Anytlamon and Terriermon were flung back and the small green rookie smacked into Suzie who tumbled down. Mako and Lindy cried out, falling to the ground and crashing into a dumpster.

The bright light stopped suddenly, like someone flicked off a switch. Mako was still holding on to Lindy when he gasped and looked up at the new digimon that had evolved from Indramon. Scurrying, he zipped behind a dumpster and pressed himself back against it-terrified of the monster that appeared.

There, in all its glory was a pristine white horse with five different heads. Each head depicted a different expression from sadness to wrath looking pasted on and frozen in time. Gold chains adorned the horse mega digimon laced around with soft red fabric that had digi-runes inscribed onto it. Upon his sides was two floating swords looking ready to attack anything within his reach. One of center horse heads spoke loudly,

"Fear me puny weaklings! I am back and stronger than ever!"

Mako fumbled with his D-Arc, trying to hold Lindy upright with one arm and muttered to himself when the data bloomed on his device in a hologram.

"Uchchaishravamon, mega level and data type. His special attacks are Twin Blade and Samudra. Oh boy. This is bad. This is really, really bad."

Mako looked at his partner. She was out of it right now, looking beaten up. She was in no shape to digivolve and he had no idea where Impmon and Ai were. He tried feeling for them but all he could sense via his 'link' was Lindy's pain.

Suzie and Antylamon backed up slowly looking a little shocked. How the heck did Indramon digivolve? Terriermon even backed up, and made a visible 'gulp'.

"Oh, shit."

Uchchaishravamon looked around taking in the drastic change of his height. He wasn't 'taller' but larger. And large is what he needed. He mentally grasped one of his swords and gave it a swing to display his power.

"I think I will start with you, little pink bunny. Come here."

Antylamon jumped up, attacking and changing her hands into axes.

"I don't think so-Bunny Blade!"

Her blades were met with the two swords and struck her down in two harsh blows. She flopped on the ground, almost bouncing off it and slid on the ground towards Suzie. With a struggle, Antylamon pushed her upper torso off the ground. Wounds were all over her, and she could barely keep one eye open.

"Antylamon?" Suzie tenderly reached a hand out. "Please...get up."

It seemed that the ultimate ex-deva was in a mental struggle but ceased as she let her body give and glow a bright light. There was Lopmon, looking weak and tired.

"I'm so sorry Suzie. I tried." Suzie quickly picked her up and hushed her.

"Sh, it's okay."

With a low growl, Terriermon jumped in front of the duo putting on the bravest face he could muster.

"Get behind me!"

Mako looked beyond the dumpster seeing that the white horse mega was going to kill Suzie, Lopmon and Terriermon. What could he do? Lindy was gone, and he couldn't get a hold of anyone else-

"Rumble, rumble!"

"What?" stupidly muttered Uchchaishravamon as he turned around and was met with the angry wrath of hot rubber tire from a certain demonic bike. Behemoth gunned the engine and sped its tires faster, causing a white hot mark to appear on the mega's main horse face. He screeched and clawed at the bike but it was too quick for him and drove off him onto the pavement. With a screech and an impressive drift turn, Behemoth drove in front of Mako and made a low grumble sound.

"You want me to get on?"

"Rumble!"

Mako climbed onto the bike with Lindy in front of him. He held the handlebars tight and told the bike to pick up Suzie, Lopmon and Terriermon. With controlled speed, the motorcycle had drove to the trio and they climbed on without much protest. Terriermon seemed the most reluctant but Mako frowned.

"Behemoth is safe-c'mon!"

"Okay, okay! But I don't think you're qualified to drive!" Terriermon shot back. Mako ignored the bunny's response and told everyone to hang on because in seconds, Behemoth revved up, and drove like a bat out of hell.

Uchchaishravamon started to run after them, busting out of the digital barrier like it was rice paper. People took notice of the giant five headed white horse and started to scream. The horse mega chuckled and he had an amused expression on his face.

"You want to play tag? Ready or not weaklings! HERE I COME!" Uchchaishravamon cried. He let out a terrifying neigh and galloped after the demonic motorcycle.

It was not even a minute later when at the diner, Beelzemon and Ai landed looking around. They noticed the boom and the digital barrier from miles away but by the time they arrived, it had disappeared.

"Some battle musta happened here." Beelzemon muttered taking out his laser cannon and winding it up. "Munchkin, stay close."

Ai kept at Beelzemon's heels letting his tail curl around her protectively. They travelled into the diner where it was a mess full of abandoned meals and juke box music playing cheerfully. The duo didn't see anything important so they moved to the back by the alleyway. There it looked torn apart, with the walls of the buildings barely held together. Beelzemon whistled,

"Well, this ain't lookin' good."

"Mako! Lindy!" Ai shouted, but no response came. She pulled out her busted D-Arc and scanned the area. The compass moved wildly, and it settled due east where the most noise was coming from. A loud roar of an engine and the sound of people screaming. Beelzemon growled,

"That's Behemoth. Ai you got a direction?"

"Yeah, it's East." she replied and he scooped her up. Flapping his ebony wings, they took the skies and followed the sound of the engine, and the destruction of the city caused by a white pony with five heads.

The traffic in Shinjuku is usually packed and busy but when you're a demonic bike that held no regard for the rules of the road, traffic in Shinjuku was like a lone road with some debris you would have to avoid. The debris would be people and nipping at its tail was Uchchaishravamon galloping full speed and taking out any vehicle in the way. It already made a mess of two city buses and destroyed a Bugatti that was decked out in neon green paint. The owner didn't seem to happy about it but Behemoth didn't pay much attention to it. Since he belonged to Master Beelzemon, it would be first priority to keep Master Mako safe along with his female friend, Mistress Lindy and the two bunny digimon. That meant avoiding the white horse at all costs, even if it had to run a few pedestrians over.

Luckily, humans were good at jumping out of the way.

"Behemoth, we got to get out of the city!" Mako screamed. The longer this monster was in the downtown sector of Shinjuku, the more likely outcome people were going to get seriously hurt. Behemoth had the ability to scan its surroundings and thankfully there was a entrance to the highway which would take them out of the city the fastest.

A car flew past them, crumpling onto the sidewalk and into a coffee shop.

They just had to survive until then.

Terriermon spun around, opening his mouth.

"Bunny Blast!"

Light sparks of energy flew towards Uchchaishravamon who regarded them as butterfly kisses. He gave a sick grin and charged forward keeping his eyes on the prize. All ten eyes on it. He charged his sword and took a swing.

"Twin Blade!"

The sword nearly took out Behemoth but it swerved the side and took a sharp left turn. Sloppily, Uchchaishravamon's hooves dug into the ground and trying to maintain momentum, he kept after them. Suzie looked behind her worriedly.

"Faster!"

"It's going as fast as it can without trashing everything!" Mako protested gritting his teeth. Lindy fluttered her eyes open.

"Mako..."

The Tamer looked down.

"Lindy! You're okay!"

"Mako..." Lindy groaned. "Why are we riding the demonic motorcycle?"

A crash sounded behind them. Behemoth took another sharp right turn making everyone hold on for dear life. When the bike adjusted, Mako replied,

"We're escaping Uchchaishravamon. He digivolved into his mega form."

"Great." Lindy said sarcastically. "Are the others okay?"

"We're here Lindy!" Suzie chimed in. "Just trying not to die!"

"Bunny Blast!"

"Blazing Ice!"

Lopmon joined in the attacks as ice blue and green blasts hit Uchchaishravamon but it was not deterring him from slowing down. In fact, at this point, it would be only a few more blocks until the horse mega would catch up. Mako spun the gears in his head.

"Behemoth, would you have better control if you had someone to drive you?"

The question struck everyone as odd but by the revved response Behemoth gave, Mako had to take it as a 'yes'.

"Great, then take over me-I give you full permission."

"What? Mako, absolutely not!" Lindy protested. "Are you crazy?"

Behemoth weaved in and out of traffic, trying its best to avoid anyone in the way or the constant rain of cars coming from behind. It was frustrated with Mistress Lindy's protest. It wanted to do them a favour-not get them killed. With a lurch of its power it seized Mako's body and took control of him but gave him his thoughts to himself. That way, he could still think for himself. The Tamer's brown eyes changed into a bursting red and a frown was stuck on his face. Lindy gasped,

"Behemoth, let go of Mako!"

"No." Mako's voice came but it was obvious the bike was speaking through with him. "Hold on."

The short response of the possessed Mako couldn't be fully processed by Lindy or the others as Mako seized the handlebars and with smooth controls, drove onto the sidewalk and was revving up towards the ramp a block away. Suzie gasped holding onto Mako tighter and squeezing Terriermon and Lopmon. Lindy swore.

It spun off the ramp and with some maneuver from both the possessed Mako and Behemoth, landed on the side of a glass building-riding it. Glass smashed upon its weight and everyone but Mako was screaming for their life.

It only lasted a few seconds but it seemed like a lifetime until the demonic motorcycle jumped off and landed on an upper part of the freeway, nearly taking out a few cars in the process. It spun its wheels and took off towards the edge of the city. Uchchaishravamon was not far behind, jumping onto the freeway as well and sent a few attacks at them. Luckily, Mako weaved through traffic and went into one of the tunnels. There, Behemoth controlled Mako to ride up and around the tunnel ceiling dong several `loops`. Lindy gritted her teeth.

"What the hell was the point of that!?" screamed Suzie wildly.

"Mako wanted to." smirked the controlled Tamer.

Just as they exited the tunnel, a black angel mega had appeared flying beside them.

"Mako, Lindy!"

"Ai, Beelzemon!" Lindy waved. "Behemoth took over Mako!"

"I can see that." Beelzemon grunted looking at 'Mako'. 'Mako' smirked.

"Master."

"You know I don't approve of you taking control of my Tamer." Beelzemon growled. Mako shrugged.

"He gave me permission and he's still here. Would you like to speak to him?"

"Yes. Now." ordered Beelzemon keeping up with the speed of the demonic bike. They were just getting off one of the exits and were in the northern part of Shinjuku-away from most of the city.

It was just an empty road with forest on both side. Uchchaishravamon loud ramblings of 'dismembering' them could be heard faintly. Behemoth sized control of the young Tamer and Mako shook his head-his brown eyes becoming clear and his movements erratic.

"Woah! That was so cool-hey can we do that again?"

"Mako."

Mako looked from Suzie who's hair was everywhere to Beelzemon's not amused expression and Ai's 'haha you're in trouble' smirk. Mako rolled his eyes.

"Okay, I know I took Behemoth without permission but that was only because you blackmailed me into your chores."

"Wait you took Behemoth without permission?" Terriermon cried and Lopmon made a disapproved look on her face. Beelzemon was about to make a smart remark about the bunny when Uchchaishravamon came into view with his swords ready and released a neigh. Blazing red eyes glared at the group.

"Stop running like cowards and fight me! I will devour you! You might have beaten me as Indramon but as Uchchaishravamon? I'm unstoppable!"

Beelzemon's expression changed from looking pissed at Mako to a stone cold expression on his face. He turned his head slightly to Ai.

"Munchkin. Get off me. I'm going in."

"Beelzemon?" Ai asked curiously and jumped off the mega.

He didn't reply just let his wings go and drew out his two guns. With a smooth motion, he shot at Uchchaishravamon his ruby red eyes unmoving. They were stone cold and the expression on his face was far from familiar to the twins.

"Double Impact!"

The bullets impacted the horse mega digimon and he grunted in pain.

"Who the hell are you?"

"You don't remember who I am?" asked Beelzemon in a strange voice. He narrowed his eyes. "You don't remember the Impmon you almost beat the crap out of and deleted him?" Beelzemon rushed forward and use his spiked boots to kick the large mega down. "You don't remember the Impmon you tormented and said that he was weak!?" With strength, the demonic mega punched Uchchaishravamon in the face and with each powerful punch he gave a grunt,

"I'm. That. Impmon!"

With effort, Uchchaishravamon swung his sword to get some distance from the blood crazy mega. He opened four of his five heads open for an attack.

"Samdura!"

The white blasts of energy were aimed right at Beelzemon and he made his claws glow a dark colour.

"Darkness Claw!"

Like thin ribbon, the attack was torn to shreds by the mega's claws. He strode forward, taking out his shotguns again and giving a evil grin. One that made Uchchaishravamon nervous.

"And you know what? I got a little more powerful in case ya haven't noticed. I know horses like ya are fuckin' retarted so I think I can spell it out in your thick skull with my claws."

Two shots fired off. One took out Uchchaishravamon's sword. He gasped and tried to retrieve it but it fizzled into data. Beelzemon kept his stride and a smile on his face-but it was far from a pleasant smile. It didn't quite reach his eyes and something more treacherous was present in his face. It made Uchchaishravamon afraid.

Another two shots fired off. Uchchaishravamon's last sword disappeared into data. He cursed turning to run but with quick reflexes, Beelzemon clawed the horse mega into submission.

"I don't remember...who you are." grunted Uchchaishravamon. Beelzemon clicked his tongue and shook his head.

"Shame buddy, would be a sweeter kill if ya did remember. Now hold still, this will only hurt a lot." a demonic chuckle came from his lips and he cocked his two guns.

"This doesn't change UltimateChaosmon's plans." the voice was surprisingly calm coming from a digimon about to die. Beelzemon leaned his head to the side and crouched down.

"Yeah? Well how about ya send that fucker a message, huh? This demon ain't messin' around. I'm gunna be after him."

"You're not match for him." laughed Uchchaishravamon. Beelzemon stood up.

"Let's see about that. Double Impa-"

"SAMDURA!" Uchchaishravamon cried and blasted Beelzemon with his other heads. He bought just barely enough time to charge his attack. Thankfully, Beelzemon was a talker.

"Beelzemon!" cried Ai and Mako together. He flew into some trees and took out some branches along the way. Suzie uneasily held Lopmon tighter and stood behind an angry Terriermon.

"You talk too much, demon." groaned Uchchaishravamon as he got up. He opened his mouths to the group below him.

"Unlike him-I won't chat. Samdura!"

The blast engulfed the group in a white light. Everyone shut their eyes preparing for the worst-including deletion and death. But when no pain reached them, they had to open their eyes. A pink dome encased the group and Behemoth safely from harm's way. In front was a shamen mega wearing black and gold amour and holding a golden staff.

"Sakuyamon!" cried Suzie and Lopmon. Ai and Mako looked in awe at the biomerged mega of Rika and Renamon. No matter how many times they saw it, it never failed to impress them.

Sakuyamon turned her head.

"Ai, Mako. Go make sure Beelzemon is okay."

The twins complied and dashed into the forest looking for their other partner. Sakuyamon twirled her staff and turned to Uchchaishravamon.

"I think it's time for you to go back from where you came." smirked the mega. Uchchaishravamon gave a sneer.

"Let me guess, you remember me too?"

"More specifically, I was your executioner." replied Sakyuamon. "Spirit Strike!"

The attack sent Uchchaishravamon into the road again crumbling down. He and his four other heads tried to open them to attack but Sakyuamon waved her staff and zipped them shut.

"Ah, ah! It's rude to interrupt a lady." scolded Sakyuamon as she jumped high into the sky to deliver the final blow but Uchchaishravamon managed to roll out of the way.

"Double Impact!"

Two bullets planted the horse mega back onto the ground. Beelzemon dashed out again looking extremely pissed. He turned to Sakuyamon.

"Leave him! He's mine!"

"Because you did such a good job last time." she snapped back.

"SHUT UP!" Beelzemon roared aiming his guns at the white horse mega. "Double Impact!"

"Amethyst Wind!"

The two attacks combined was more than enough to destroy Uchchaishravamon. With an anguished cry, he dissolved into data rapidly that floated around. For a moment, Beelzemon considered to absorb the data but turned his head away in a low growl. He ignored Sakuyamon landing on the ground behind him.

"Beelzemon?" sighed Ai and Mako, looking a little tense. They never seen their partner looked so...different. It was like seeing another digimon out there hurting Uchchaishravamon. Beelzemon ignored the twins at first and went to the bike.

"You will take the twins, Lindy, princess, chocolate bunny and the other bunny back home. Got it?"

The bike rumbled. Beelzemon nodded and proceeded to pick up Mako and Ai who had Lindy in their arms and placed them on the bike. Then, he got Suzie and Lopmon on next and finally Terriermon who hopped on without prompt. But he did gave a look.

"Losing a bit of yourself out there, huh? It's been a long time since we saw you like that."

"Drive." ordered Beelzemon in a tight voice. The bike spun its wheels and drove off into the night leaving smoke in its wake. The mega spun around to meet the shaman mega.

"He's right. You weren't yourself out there."

"I got a little carried away-it happens." the short reply made Sakuyamon frown deeper.

"Beelzemon...about the demon lords..."

"Yeah, yeah you think I'm one of those demon lords huh?" He folded his arms and curled his tail around his body. "I ain't saying I'm denying it but if I am..." his ruby eyes gazed up where the data from Uchchaishravamon departed. "...then there are six other digimon out there completely like me. Blood thirsty, evil and involved with someone named UltimateChaosmon."

Sakyuamon shifted her body and let the butt of her staff rest on the ground. The rings around the tip of it jingled lightly like a wind chime.

"I think...it's time to call the group together for a meeting."
