It's been 2 years but I'm finally getting back to writing this story I hope you don't hate me and that you'll R&R.

Asuma's POV

I was wandering around the house bored out of my mind because the more pregnant Kurenai got the more she didn't want to leave the house. Did I say didn't want to, I meant couldn't. Her feet wouldn't really allow it and she wouldn't here of me going out without her so I just hang around our empty apartment.

"ASUMA" I hear Kurenai yelling. She always yells now because she never knows what part of the apartment I'm in last week she almost gave me heart attack.

"Yes" I call back.

"THE BABIES COMING" She yells back, I don't really think about what she says I just run toward the room.

"What do you mean the babies coming" I ask almost passing out.

"That could only mean one possible thing Asuma" she pants obviously in pain? Grief? Despair? Maybe all three?

"Can we please go to the hospital now please" she says.

We go to the hospital and I wait outside like I'm told while they get Kurenai all prepared and then they come out and tell me I can come in.

I stand there with Lady Tsunade as I wait for…well I don't really know what we're waiting on. So I ask what's going on.

Lady Tsunade looks like she's losing her patience with me but I've never been in this type of situation.

"Honestly didn't your mother teach you anything Asuma" she said scowling at me.

Jeez that was I mean yea my mother was a medical ninja but she's been dead for quite some time. I never really had any time to think of it really. I knew a lot of people had perished at the hands of the nine tails but never did I think it would be my mother too.

Flashback

"Look at all this damage Kurenai, it'll take months to fix all this damage."

"I know but what I'm concerned about is the families that lost members to this attack." She says with a sad look on her face.

"Yea" I said in agreement wondering how I could forget about that…holy cow where's Koren.

I look at Kurenai and tell her I have to find my sister and I'll be back. I ran jumping from rooftop to rooftop (the one's that weren't completely destroyed).

I run and run and run. To the point where I didn't even know where I was and then another thought rose where were my parents? They were nowhere to be found either.

I just became aware of voices…voices that were all too familiar. It was my father and Koren.

"This is going to be hard on Asuma." I heard my father say. Then a response from a woman… my sister.

"I can barely handle this myself nut Asuma, he's just a kid." I heard my father chuckle sadly.

"Your only four years older than him" he reminded her. That's when I heard her sigh.

I jumped out and appeared in sight in front of both of them. I was scowling, how dare they think I couldn't believe that they thought so little of me. I'm stronger than they think.

End Flashback

That was a day that I don't like to remember. Because there were no words they just stepped aside and I saw the fallen form of my mother. Unfortunately that's where the memory of that day ends.
