AN: Apologies for not posting, I know these chapters are prewritten from years ago, I prefer update all my fanfics at once, and my life has been so busy, so I hope there are still a few readers keeping up with this fanfic. A special thanks to Chester99 and Guest for reviewing, reviews really do keep me posting so thanks.

Read and Review Please!

Song suggestion: Enchanted, Taylor Swift. (So, despite the fact I've stopped doing song suggestions for my other fanfics, these chapters were written years ago-hence the extremely amateur writing-and came with song suggestions, so enjoy them while they last even though they don't always work)

Chapter Thirty One: Planned Dates.

After Malfoy left Hermione exchanged a few more pleasantries with his Mother-the basic 'Pansy looks beautiful in that dress' and 'It's been such a lovely day'-before she said her goodbye and moved to leave. She waved and smiled at Pansy who was snugly tucked next to Blaise, who was talking to who she identified as a Veela and his Mate, and slid out of the door. Slowly she made her way up to her dorm.

When she arrived the common room was dark and empty so she climbed the steep stone stairs and hesitated at their bedroom door. Fix this Hermione, he's hurting. She thought harshly. She knew he knew she was there so she walked in quietly and studied his face.

He looked pale, almost grey, and thinner. His grey eyes ringed his red from tears she knew he had shed before she had come up. His hair hung over his forehead and his face was bent in a thick book, seemingly ignoring her. She admitted to herself that he probably was ignoring her so she grabs her clothes and went into the bathroom to change.

Once she was ready she slipped back out and walked to her trunk next to Malfoy's at the foot of the bed and opened it. She pulled out a cushioned covered book and clutched it to her chest before closing her trunk once more. Gently she climbed onto the bed and crawled up to kneel at his side, still holding the book, and waited for him to acknowledge her.

It didn't take long.

He glanced up at her through his lashes before setting his book aside and looking at her properly.

"I wanted to show you this." She whispered and handed him the precious book.

"What is it?" He asked examining the pink silk cushioned cover with white loopy writing proclaiming it as Hermione Jean Granger's Life Plan with a picture of her as a new born baby in the middle.

"It's my plan book." She explained, "I wanted to show you this because I feel you should know."

"Know?"

"For you to know how meticulously planned my life is that I accept that this plan can't predict my future like my parents planned…that I know my future is with you." She murmured as he looked through it.

"Born at half ten a.m. on the nineteenth of September nineteen seventy nine…attended Newton Farm Nursery Infant and Junior School…is this where you were going to go before your Hogwarts letter?" He pointed to the page.

"Newstead Wood School for Girls." She nodded.

"These are some of the highest scoring schools around right?"

"Yep."

"Wycombe Abbey School..."

"My parents used to say I was there to other Muggles." She swallowed her tears.

"University of Oxford…then being a Dentist at your parents Dentistry."

"Yeah…we had to scrap that idea when I got my letter but I think my parents still thought I'd go to Uni and become a Dentist."

"But…"

"But because of Hogwarts I changed my plans. I would spend a year travelling and then go work at the Ministry at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and continue my S.P.E.W work."

"Wow."

"I wouldn't get married until I was twenty two and if I wasn't married by thirty I would have IVF and have a child on my own."

"You really have everything planned." He flicked through the pages, "Your funeral?" He gasped, wide eyed.

"You missed the pages dedicated to my wedding." She smoothed over.

"Really I'm surprised you haven't got your children already timelined." He chuckled.

"Obviously I couldn't, it's not how it works but I do have names set out."

"Oh really, what names?"

"I like Rose for a girl and Hugo for a boy."

"Rose is a pretty name…Hugo I'm not sure, it's a little odd."

"Exactly, no one else will be called that so he'll be unique."

"Okay."

"I'm sorry." She dampened the light mood, "I shouldn't keep going on about things we can't change and you know what…I'm happy like this." She took the book from him; put it away before climbing back next to him, "Come here you…" She grasped his shoulders and pulled him closer until their lips met.

"Mmm…" He moaned and moved her so he was over her. Their tongues clashed and lapped at each other. Her hands still gripped his shoulders as his drifted over her torso. Then he pulled back and looked at the Bite he'd given her the previous night.

It was red around the teeth marks where he'd broke skin and darker where his canines had gone in farther. The skin was a deep pink and raised and he knew it would stay that way to show to the world who she belonged to. Cautiously he touched the Mark with a feather touch and Hermione moaned. When he touched the Bite it shot hormones of pleasure through her body.

"Merlin…" Hermione gasped and pulled him back down to her lips, "Goodness Draco…" She rasped as he touched it again.

"Hermione…" He decided then he needed to play with fire so when he touched it again he slid his other had under her tank top and grazed his fingertips at the edge of her left breast.

"Stop…please…no, I can't…" She choked out as he continued his ministrations.

"Hermione…" He groaned but forced himself to pull back slightly.

"I can't, I'm sorry." She gently pulled his hand out of her top and moved the other away from her Bite Mark.

"What's wrong?" He asked as the Veela inside him raged at not going further.

"I…I always promised my parents I'd wait until I was married before I went all the way." She explained and Malfoy eased off her and lay back down next to her.

"Married…" He whispered before climbing out of bed and pulling a small box from his bedside table, "I think it's the right time for me to do this."

"What are you doing Malfoy?" She resorted to his surname again as she walked around the bed to his side and stood before him curiously.

"Hermione Jean Granger, I know we've not had the best past but I promise we'll have the perfect future. I will love you for every second of our lives and beyond. I love you. Will you marry me?" He asked after getting down on one knee and presenting her with the most perfect emerald and diamond antique engagement ring. Hermione stared into his eyes, her answer on her tongue.
