Chopper beeped and whistled at Hera and the others as they entered the fortress, though they seemed sad, so Chopper shocks Ezra to cheer them up…Ezra barely notices, Hera however throws a disapproving look at Chopper and says "Aragorn's dead Chop!" Chopper whistles slowly, he knew these people well and liked the older ranger, for a few seconds he racked his circuits, he had to cheer them up!

He decided that the only thing now was to keep their minds off it, so he beeped and whistled about having Hama give them an overview, read "tour", of the fortress. Hera looked at the glum, and angry in Zeb's case, faces and decided that it was probably a good idea, speaking to the remainder of the fellowship "Chop says that Hama should give us a tour of the fortress, you all up for it?"

Ezra looks at the others and says "Sure" putting on a brave face, and slowly the rest nod. Gimli excuses himself to go find some food, bumps into Eowyn "Where is Lord Aragorn?" she asks "He fell…" is all Gimli says. Feeling his appetite leave him, he runs over to the ramparts where Hama is pointing out the history of the fortress, and of Helm Hammerhand, whom the fortress was named after.

An Hour Later…"He's alive!" one peasant shouts, "Lord Aragorn!" yells another, soon Gimli is at the gate followed by Zeb, Ezra, and Sabine, the others not far behind. "Where is he, where is he, get outta my way, I'm gonna kill him!" yells Gimli, then he finds Aragorn at the center of the throng and says "You have to be the luckiest, the canniest, oh the most reckless man I ever knew." And gives Aragorn a hug "Bless you laddie!"

Zeb walks over and claps Aragorn on the shoulder, almost knocking both him and Gimli over, then before the rest can say their greeting Aragorn says urgently "Gimli where is the king?" they notice the seriousness in Aragorn's voice and Ezra points up toward Theoden's chambers, everyone following close behind Aragorn as he strides up the steps, only stopping to allow Legolas to return something he had lost.

"Ten Thousand!" says Théoden incredulously, Ezra looks at Kanan, both feeling numb at Aragorn's next statement "It is an army bred for a single purpose, to destroy the world of men. They will be here by nightfall." Even for a fully trained Jedi this would have been a suicide mission, heck even for a dozen of them!

They follow Theoden out onto the parapet where he speaks about them breaking like water on rock, and Kanan has to hold Hera back when Hama is ordered to get everyone who can hold a sword ready for battle, children included, Gimli then says "This is no rabble of mindless Orcs, these are Uruk-Hai their armor is thick and their shields broad" "I have fought in many wars and slain many foes master dwarf, I know how to defend my own keep." Theoden replies without patience.

Aragorn then says with a pleading note in his voice "Send out riders my lord, Rohan must call for aid!" to which Theoden replies "And who will answer, Elves, Dwarves, more strange visitors from the skies?!" "Gondor will answer!" Aragorn staunchly replies "Gondor! Where was Gondor when the Westfold fell, where was Gondor when our enemies closed in around us, where was Gon… No my lord Aragorn we are alone."

Several Hours Later… Everyone is gathered in the armory laughing as Gimli talks of getting a far too-long chainmail haulbruk 'fitted' "A little tight across the chest" he says. Suddenly a horn is heard and Legolas says "That is no orc horn!" and they all dash after out of him into the main square. What is beyond is a sight for sore eyes indeed, row upon row of armor clad Elves march in tight formation under the banner of Galadriel, come to "stand alongside men once more." Says Haldir.

As the torches of the Uruks grow closer the women and those too young to fight, led by Eowyn and Chopper, are led into the caves. Everyone else takes up stances upon the Deeping wall. With a crack of thunder it begins to rain, more sorcery from Saruman. The Uruks begin to beat their pikes on the ground, as everyone takes careful aim, Sabine's targeter lowered to cut through the dark and rain, everyone else readying lightsabers, blasters, bows and swords…until one Rohan peasant cannot hold back his bowstring any longer, releases an arrow right into an Uruk's neck killing it.

That signals the beginning of battle!

The Uruks charge towards the Deeping wall, shots from the elves carving up their ranks, Sabine is firing left and right soon see's ladders being raised through her night vision, and shouts a warning as the first Bezerker Uruk gets sliced two by Ezra, Gimli taking another two down and yelling "Legolas, Ezra, Sabine! Two already!" Sabine shouts "I'm on twenty!", Ezra "I'm on nine!", Legolas "I'm on seventeen!" to which Gimli's shocked reply is "Uh, I'll have no pointy ear or sky warriors outscoring me!" Immediately chopping an Uruk in the crotch while Ezra takes two down, Sabine three, and Legolas kills his second since shouting and announces "Nineteen!"

Kanan and Hera are back to back while Zeb is going full Lasat royal guard on the Uruks, picking some up and tossing them to their doom, others are shot, and others electrically bashed in. Hera, considering the battle conditions, is doing well, sword in one and blaster in the other, Kanan is doing REALLY well, killing Uruk after Uruk, him and Aragorn would be about even if they were keeping score.

Sabine suddenly ducks as a crossbow bolt flies past her and impales an elf, soon the elves are falling off the wall as Samuman's mechanical treachery is revealed. Now the second twist of fate, a P'auan with yellow eyes, and a small gold ring, moves to engage…
