AN: Okay, so we're starting to go into the night of their wedding but it's not too bad now so you may or may not feel the need to skip this chapter, your choice, I don't mind. I know nothing of this kind of thing so my knowledge of this subject is what I've read in other fanfics so please don't be too harsh but suggestions might help.

On an additional note; this is the final chapter from my original writing. From now on, I have to write each chapter. As this story is now five years old in real life terms (!) and I haven't written anything of this story since its original publishing five years ago, I'm going to probably be tweaking the writing style (because my style has evolved – hopefully- and rereading this makes me realise how badly I wrote five years ago – I'm surprised you've all tolerated it so far), but I'll be staying with the original plotline, so hopefully it'll be okay for you all still. Anyway, enough rambling, enjoy!

Read and review please!

Chapter Forty: Printing love.

People started to leave. One by one saying their goodbyes before walking away.

"I'll see you soon." Narcissa promised before kissing each of their cheeks and leaving.

Each Weasley hugged Hermione, shook hands with Draco and left too. Until it was just Blaise and Pansy to leave.

"See you later." Blaise shook Draco's hand and Hermione's.

"Have a good night." Pansy hugged both of them before they left too.

"I guess we better go too." Hermione whispered timidly.

"I was thinking that we could go to stay at Malfoy Manor for the night. Mother isn't home and we'll live there when we leave here so…"

"Okay." She swallowed.

"Come on, we have to use the Floo in Dumbledore's office."

Draco led the way through the castle while Hermione walked along clutching his hand. He mumbled the password and gestured Hermione first. She walked up the stone steps, holding her dress high so not to trip until she reached the Headmaster's door and knocked on.

"He's not here." Draco murmured opening the door and waving her in.

"Are we supposed to be here?"

"Dumbledore said I could use the Floo."

"Okay." She palmed the powder.

"Ready?" He asked as they stepped in.

"Mm…"

"Malfoy Manor." Draco yelled as they chucked down the powder and emerald flames erupted around them and they disappeared and reappeared in Malfoy Manor.

"Is your mum definitely not home?"

"She said she'd stay with a friend so we can have this night here together."

"Oh, okay." She stuttered.

"I'll show you to our room."

"Sure." She let him pull her along as she grew more and more nervous.

"Here we are." He smiled softly as he pushed open a pair of double doors.

"Wow!" She gasped. There was a big double poster bed to her right and a dresser and wardrobe against the door wall. Then opposite the bed was a door to a bathroom she presumed and there were big wall length windows opposite her with the curtains drawn. Everything was Slytherin green or black.

"I know it's a bit dark and Slytherin but we can do it up when we move in here."

"It's fine." She murmured and stepped in.

"You can freshen up in there if you want." He gestured to the bathroom door.

"Thank you."

"Take all the time you need." He kissed her hand before stepping away and she walked into the bathroom.

Okay, stay calm, its fine, all you need to do is clean up a bit then you're ready. She told herself sternly and turned on the bath. Taking off her dress she hung it on the hanger provided and slipped off her shoes-she was never good in heels. Then put her jewellery away too and used her wand to pull out her hair.

Once the mirrors started to steam over she climbed in the soapy water. This morning she'd lounged in hers but now she rubbed herself clean of make-up and trying to wash the scent of nervousness off. Once she was satisfied she climbed out and dried off and brushed her teeth at least three times to get rid of any lingering bad breath from dinner.

Then she decided it was time she slipped on her undergarments again but refused to struggle into her dress again and her feet hurt enough that she left the heels too. So she self-consciously wrapped her arms around herself and slipped into the bedroom once again.

"I'm done." She murmured and he looked up from his seat at the bottom on the bed.

"I won't be long." He nodded before brushing past her and going in the bathroom.

She slowly walked forward and gripped one of the posts hyperventilating. Her chest heaving and feeling light headed. This was it, it really was. Her thoughts spun around that thought. Her knees gave way so she was kneeled at the bottom of the bed. Trying to calm herself she took deep breaths. Then she heard the door open.

"Draco." She tried to smile and stood up.

"You don't have to do this tonight you know?"

"I want to…I'm just…it's new to me."

"Its okay, look we'll just sleep." Even though the Veela in him was yelling at him to have her.

"No, I want to."

"You know what we need to do then."

"Yes." She watched him take a crystal bowl and a silver dagger from the top of the dresser and walked back.

"Can you take the chemise off?"

"Yes." She unfastened it uneasily and tossed it to the side leaving her in just her bra and knickers.

"This is going to hurt."

"I guessed that from the dagger." She tried to joke.

"I'm sorry." He murmured as he cupped her palm and dragged the dagger across it.

"Ah…" She whimpered.

"Hush…" He soothed her as her blood drizzled into the crystal bowl, "There." He sighed once it reached a certain level before healing her palm magically, "My turn now."

"Okay." She nodded weakly and took the dagger. Carefully she dragged the blade across his palm in a shallow slice then catching the blood before healing it too, "Now what?"

"I have to write my name in it on your stomach."

"Go on then." She said as he kneeled in front of her. Dripping in his finger in he started to write his name above her knicker line, "Draco." She cried softly as the pain inflicted itself.

"I know, I'm sorry, I should have warned you." He muttered as he carried on.

"No, stop, it hurts." Her abdomen on fire and crippled with pain she gripped his shoulders, "Please Draco, it hurts."

"I'm sorry." He murmured as he finished and hugged her to him as she collapsed in pain, "Come on, you have to do it to me."

"I can't." She retorted.

"You have to."

"Fine." She sighed, "Stand up." She said and stayed kneeled, "It hurts Draco." She warned him before swishing her finger in the blood and painting her name on his stomach. It terrified her with whereabouts she faced but she stayed strong and carried on even when he wailed in pain.

Finally they stood together and stared at the words as they moved and created different tattoos. Draco got an otter and Hermione got a snake.
