CHAPTER 5: DATE WITH A GHOST

Inuyasha did exactly what he promised he invited Koga to spend Saturday with him, so he could show the spirit all the best movies he missed out on over the decades spent in this mansion. After Koga finally admitted his feelings for Inuyasha, all he could think of now was all the possible ways he could woe him. It wouldn't be easy, Inuyasha was just as stubborn as he was, but anything worth having is hard to obtain.

"Alright first things first, I'm going to show you the greatest science fiction series of all time", Inuyasha said popping the dvd of Star Wars into the player.

"I didn't know they had wars in the stars", Koga commented as Inuyasha chuckled at his almost childlike innocence. After the first half hour Koga kept questioning whether or not this was real and Inuyasha just rolled his eyes at him.

"I keep telling you, it's all just special effects, illusions, it's not real", Inuyasha said a little annoyed. Koga was like a kid seeing a movie for the first, asking endless questions. They spent the entire day watching all sorts of movies, the spirit really seemed to enjoy them and asked if they could keep watching more into the night. Inuyasha reluctantly complied and eventually fell asleep on the couch. Koga smiled seeing the object of his interest passed out. He carefully picked him up and carried him bridal style back to their room. After laying Inuyasha down on the bed and pulling the blanket over him Koga laid next to him, he couldn't sleep being a ghost, but he could still lay there watch Inuyasha sleep running his fingers through the others beautiful long hair.

"I wonder if there is a way to join him", Koga whispered to himself. A sudden idea popped into his head and he jumped from the bed and fazed through the floor. A few minutes later he arrived in the secret room below the mansion. It was a large open chamber with a high ceiling, cobblestone walls, and a dusty cracked marble floor. The walls had many shelves that housed old books and strange objects, like skulls and weird liquids in jars and bottles. Some tables and desks around the room were covered in dust, books and old parchments with old symbols written on them.

Koga approached the podium in the center of the room, there sat the most important object in this room, in fact it was everything to Koga now. There sat an old black book, decorated in what looked like waling spirits, and gilded in gold lettering were the words 'The World of Spirits'. He opened the book and flipped through the pages looking for a specific section. Koga briefly stopped on a chapter titled 'Soul Separation' and glared at it for a moment before continuing on.

"Let's see, where is it? Aha here it is", he exclaimed when he came to a chapter titled 'The Powers of Spirits'. Koga read threw the chapter carefully looking for the information he needed.

"Moving through walls, shapeshifting, illusions, I already know how to do all this", Koga sighed thinking this was pointless until his eyes landed on a different section.

"Dream Intrusion, here we go", after reading all the information he needed Koga grinned happy he could have what he wanted. He quickly fazed back up to Inuyasha's bedroom and smirked seeing the beautiful white haired man was still asleep. Koga placed his hand on Inuyasha's sleeping face and concentrated, he figured now would be a good time as any to try this. It took a few tries, but he was finally able to faze into the other man's mind while he was dreaming. From the outside it looked like Koga was turning into mist as it slipped into Inuyasha's head.

THE NEXT MORNING

Inuyasha sat at the kitchen table sipping his coffee. He didn't know how he got to bed last night, but what was currently pressing on his mind was the vivid erotic dream he had. In his dream he was laying upon a giant bed with satin sheets, the room was dimly lit, and he remembered that his clothes seemed to disappear off his body. In the dream Koga appeared only lacking his usual white frilled top and black cape, his chest was actually very toned for a ghost. In the dream Koga didn't say anything he just slipped into the bed kneeled between his legs and caressed his hand across his cheek. Slowly but surely he took Inuyasha's mouth with his, Koga placed his hand on the back of his next to deepen the kiss. The rest of the dream spiraled into a haze of kisses and hands all over his body.

"Good morning!" Koga's voice startled him out of his thoughts.

"G-good m-morning", Inuyasha blushed thinking about what dream Koga did to him last night.

"Your blushing, is something the matter Inuuuyaaashaa?" Koga purposely dragged his name out, he knew exactly what the matter was, he entered Inuyasha's dream and had a little fun. Unfortunately he had to leave it before he woke lest he accidental force a spiritual possession. He grinned seeing the white haired man blushing. From what he remembered Inuyasha seemed to enjoy everything he did to him, but that could have just been because it was a dream and wasn't fully aware of what he was doing or who he was doing it with. He didn't even know what his sexual orientation was. He had to find out soon, but in the meantime he could still have some fun in Inuyasha's dreams.

THE NEXT DAY

All day Koga kept trying to sneak subtle hints to Inuyasha and find out if he was straight or not. Unfortunately this tactic was failing him, mostly because his prodding and questions had gone completely over that pretty head. For someone as creative and brilliant as him, he could be incredibly thick sometimes. So Koga decided to be more forward and see where that got him.

"So I was reading something this morning about the British Colonies legalizing same sex marriage", the ghost said sitting on the couch in the study while Inuyasha worked on another article.

"The British Colonies? You mean the United States?

"Is that what they're called now?" Koga asked.

"Wow you really are still out of touch", Inuyasha laughed.

"Anyway, what do you think?" the spirit asked waiting for a response to his inquiry.

"About the same sex marriage?" Inuyasha paused for a moment to gather his thoughts. "I think it's great it's about time we get some rights over there".

"Wait are you?"

"Gay, yeah what tipped you off, was it the phone calls from my idiot ex-boyfriend", Inuyasha said rolling his eyes.

"You're gay", Koga meant to come off as surprised, but it sounded more shocked than surprised.

"Is there a problem with that?" Inuyasha said dangerously.

"No actually", this was perfect for him now that he knew Inuyasha preferred that, it would be easier to seduce him. 'Wait Ex-boyfriend!'

"So who is this other man in your life?" Koga asked through clenched teeth. Inuyasha looked at him questioningly wondering why he sounded pissed off.

"Look I dated this guy Bankotsu for a while, but it didn't work out. How he found out where I'm living now, I still don't know", Inuyasha sighed thinking about the royal pain in his ass that was dealing with his ex.

"Well he better step foot in my mansion, I let you live here, but two is pushing it!" Koga huffed walking over to look out the window. Inuyasha watched his behavior curiously, Koga almost sounded a little jealous, but he quickly shook his head of those kinds of thoughts. He had another dream about Koga being intimate with him last night and he was probably imagining things now.

"What about you, was there a special someone in your life when you were alive?" Inuyasha asked however he immediately regretted asking when he noticed Koga blankly gazing into empty space, he realized it must be a touchy subject. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hit a nerve".

"No it's alright. If you're asking if I was married back when I was still amongst the living, no I wasn't", he said not sounding sad or happy about it.

"Do you uh perhaps have uh…um", Inuyasha trailed off a little embarrassed about asking this.

"A lover?" Koga smirked while Inuyasha just nodded his head cheeks turning a little red. "I had multiple lovers actually" the ghost said triumphantly.

"Oh so you were a rich playboy then?" Inuyasha asked sounding a little disappointed by that fact. "I'm sure you got any girl you wanted then"

"And men"

"What?" Inuyasha's eyes went wide.

"I had multiple pretty little lovers in my bed, both men and women, I didn't matter to me which", Koga crossed his arms thinking back to how easy it was. "Whenever I see something I want I go and get it, that's how I am", Koga smirked because what he wanted was looking right at him with a curious look on his face.

Koga wondered how Inuyasha would react if he told him that he desired to court the other. Now that he had access to the internet and was starting to catch up on the times, he was starting to figure out that the old ways of winning someone over were dead and gone. It didn't matter if they were or not Inuyasha wasn't someone he could buy the affection of or use his good looks and charm to seduce, plus he didn't have any money being a ghost means money becomes worthless to him now.

"Hey Koga I was wondering, can you leave this place?" Inuyasha asked the question that had been bugging him this whole weekend. Ever since he saw how enthralled Koga was with all the cinema and television he missed out on he wondered if he would ever like to go out to the city and see a movie in the theater.

"Are you telling me the man that's haunting you to get out?" Koga asked scoffing at the irony of the question.

"What? No, I was just wondering if you could leave the mansion and go the city with me one day", Inuyasha said defensively. "And what hauntings, you haven't done anything to me for like a week".

'Oh if only you knew who was behind you're kinky little dreams', Koga smirked to himself thinking about what he did to him last night, he then frowned remembering the question that was asked.

"No actually I can't ever leave the grounds of Okami Manor", he said with a sad sigh, it was all part of the curse that bound him here forever.

"Why not?"

"That's just how it is, I died here so my soul stays trapped here", he shrugged his shoulders easily lying to Inuyasha.

"Oh alright", something didn't sound right, but he let it go for now. Well this sucks he knew Koga would have loved to go the movies. Oh well, he'll just have to get more dvds to keep Koga busy and not haunting him.

Done

Well that's another chapter down.

So Koga is secretly invading Inuyasha's dreams to have a little 'fun' with him. I actually got that idea from Nightmare on Elm Street believe it or not. Casper was the original inspiration for this and I'm using horror movies to add to. Good thing Inuyasha hasn't shown him any ghost movies yet, Koga might get 'ideas'.

Also that thing in the World of Spirits books about soul separation, remember that. That's all I can say.

Should Koga have a rival for Inuyasha? I haven't decided yet, what do you all think?

Did anybody notice the chapter title was a line from Ghostbusters?

Thank you for reading, until next time.
