Standing up from my chair, I clasped my hands in front of me as I greeted the audience; saying, "Hi, you're watching, 'Question Corner' and I'm your host, Kale. Today we have with us a Jedi Master who is second only to Yoda. His wisdom and power is legendary by many, he's the man with the purple lightsaber. Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for Mace Windu!" Pointing to my right, the crowd went in uproar as Windu came up the stairs and across the platform. As the audience cheered and clapped for the Jedi Master, my smile broadened. We weren't sure how many people would show after the last interview's fiasco, but, with a full house, we were honored to hear the clapping and cheering that came with it. No one knows yet who sabotaged the lights, but Greg's working double time in order uncover the truth. Meanwhile, I've messed up and accidentally sent a rumor around that someone on our ship's done the damaged by telling Ashley about my worries. Now, no one trusts one another and things aren't looking too pretty backstage.

Meeting him in the middle, I thrusted out my hand enthusiastically and was pleased when he reciprocated the action. "Thank you so much for coming on the Show, Master Windu."

"Thank you for having me." In his own formal manner, Mace gave me a simple nod of acknowledgement.

"Please," I gestured to the two seats behind the black coffee table, "have a seat." When we sat down, Mace braced his arms against the armrests while I shuffled the deck of cards in my hands. "So, I want to start by asking, how is Jar Jar Binks? I hear he got beat up quite a bit recently."

"Senator Binks is back home and doing well, thank you."

"Oh, good. I'm glad." I said. "Our first question we have for you is by 'Drmethilon' who asks, 'Is your lightsaber crystal what you got as a youngling or have you changed it at some point?'"

"No, but I've changed the outer structure of my weapon when I became a senior Jedi Council member. I built it to the highest standards. Emphasizing precision and quality. I even incorporated an electrum finish to the blade, but I have never changed my crystal."

"'KestrelRaven9' asks, 'Is having the only violet lightsaber in Jedi Order significant or meaningful to you?''"

"Everyone's lightsaber in the Jedi Temple is unique in their own way. They each have their own story on how they came about it. Whether they're the same color or not, but I am still grateful for how I came across mine." He took out his lightsaber and it levitated out of his palm. "The violet-colored crystal was a gift by the Hurikane natives." Shredding the lightsaber piece by piece without laying a finger on the weapon, he revealed the purple-colored crystal within and received much awe from the audience.

Pleased, I placed the card on the coffee table before reading. "Another question about your lightsaber is from, 'Weathergirl17248' who asks, 'Were you surprised by the color you received? And if so, did you like it?'"

"'Surprised' wouldn't be the word I'd use to describe it." He replied, as the hovering lightsaber reconstructed itself with little to no effort on his part before he grabbed it and latched it back onto his belt. "If anything, I was honored when I received the gift. Purple represents wisdom and spirituality and so it has always been a reminded to me of what I strive to be."

"Well, you do a very good job at it. 'Jedi-TARDIS-Chick101' asks, 'Do you often get younglings asking you about your lightsaber colour?'"

"I've known a few to ask once or twice."

"You can't blame them. It really is a unique color. Okay, now 'Hazardous By Instinct' asks, 'I'm sorry, but how many jokes about windows do you get on a daily basis'?

"None." He exhaled deeply at the thought. "But, now that the comparison has been made, I'm sure Skywalkers going to pick it up."

I cringed sympathetically. "Sorry...um, 'Ahsokatano191' asks, 'What are your thoughts of The Clone Army?'"

"I'm impressed by their ingenuity." Windu replied. "If we as Jedi are ever out of our depth in a situation, they pick up what we can't do. Same goes vise-versa. "

Reaching to the side of my seat, I pulled out a picture as I said. "We also have a question from 'Jesslyoko324', and she wants to know if you know someone by the name of Nick Fury? She also wanted me to show you this for reference." I handed him the picture of the actor, and he eyed it with a raised brow.

"I...uh-never heard of him." He scratched at his chin and stared at the picture with disbelief. "However, I now see I have a doppelgänger in the Universe."

I shrugged. "At least if you're in need of one, you know who to call." He handed me back the picture, and I placed it back beside the chair. "'Count Raptor' asks, 'Can the dark side powers be used for good'? If so, care to shed some light on the subject?' Ha- that's kind of puny actually." I mused before putting the card on the coffee table.

He answered doubtfully. "It's not possible. Not from what I've seen."

"What if it was?"

"I wouldn't think so. The dark side is grown by an individual's desire to succeed or survive no matter what. By reveling in their urge to get what they set out to do, they destroy all of those who are in their path in order to achieve an end to their wants. In other words, when you use a dark power, you have to tap into the dark side to use it."

"So, you basically have to be angry in order to use something like 'lightning'?"

"Exactly. Some Jedi do feel differently about the subject, but I've viewed it as a tool never to be touched."

Changing out the questions, I read. "This is going to sound like a treasonous kind of question, but we're just being hypothetical. 'Ahsokatano191' asks, 'What would you say if the Sith Lord you were trying to find was Chancellor Palatine?'"

He frowned. "If you're looking for trouble, feel free to continue."

"I know, I know, you're right." I raised my hands in defense, "But, again, hypothetically speaking."

"Hypothetically, if Chancellor Palpatine was the Sith Lord, which he isn't, he'd have to go on trial for his actions against the Republic. But, since the Chancellor has been nothing but loyal to his government and his people, that will never happen. The next question, please."

"Ah, I can respect a hint." I mused. "We have some questions about the Jedi Temple. Starting with, 'Darth Tyrone' asks, 'Is music allowed at the Jedi Temple?'"

"Yes, but not loudly." He huffed a chuckle. "It upsets the elders in the Temple and it also depends on the music being play."

"So..." I eyed him curiously as I switched the cards. "what you're saying is that I should never bring my rock 'n rolls CD's with me if I ever visit the Temple?"

"It would prove unwise. Unless you want an angry elder chasing you down the hallway and don't let their age fool you." He warned. "They're quick."

"You sound like someone who's been chased down before by the elders." I laughed and changed the subject. "'Hazardous By Instinct' asks, 'Are the chairs in the Jedi Council room really comfy?'"

"Very." Windu nodded once. "It's helpful when you have long briefings."

"That would be handy. 'Emerald-Laufeydottir' asks, 'What is it like to be on the High Jedi Council?'"

"It's an honor to be apart of the Council. It's long hours and dealing with a lot of Skywalkers antics, but it's all worth it in the end."

"'Pronker' asks, 'How do you get your robes to billow out behind you like that? It's really neat.'"

"I don't know what you mean, and I don't think I want to." He casually looked at his robe in questioning before he shook his head and said. "Is there another question to be asked?"

Smiling, I changed cards; before saying to the camera, "Just consider that a 'its natural effect' kind of answer, Pronker. Okay, now we have a question from 'Count Raptor' and he asks, 'Do you think that a Jedi who falls to the dark side can be redeemed?'"

"It's...doubtful, but anything is possible." He shrugged. "It would be a hard path for them."

"'TolkienGirl052' asks, 'Why do you not get along with Anakin? You really seem to dislike him a lot."

"I've found some of Skywalker's tactics are a bit radical for my tastes." Windu ran his hand over his bald head. "But, I wouldn't go as far as saying I completely dislike him. Some of his tactics, I will admit, have proven effective every now and again, and he has great respect from his men. Which, in my book, can mean a lot about your character."

"Still on the topic of General Skywalker. 'Jedi-TARDIS-Chick101' asks, 'What was your opinion on young Anakin Skywalker being allowed into the Jedi Order?'"

"All force users are welcomed in the Temple." He noted. "I wouldn't have objected."

"And lastly from, 'ErinKenobi2893'. He asks, 'Do the members of the Council often play pranks on each other?'" Amused by the question, I said. "So...do they?"

"I don't mean to be presumptuous," His brow arched suspiciously as he noted my eager smile; saying. "but I'm assuming you'd much rather have me say yes?"

"It would be nice."

"Then yes. Yes, we do. All the time."

"What kind of pranks?" I pushed.

"I wouldn't go that far."

"Well, thank you for coming on the Show, Master Windu." I said as we both stood up from our chairs, and I extended my hand to his. "If you ever get bored, try pulling some pranks on your Jedi Masters. I've heard it's a great stress reliever."

"I'll try not to get bored. For their sake." Half smirking, he said before turning to leave.

Staring at his retreating figure, I quickly added in haste, "Oh, and don't forget to video tape it and send it to us." and chuckled when he waved me off with a unamused glance. Shaking my head, I faced the audience with my hands clasped behind my back. "Thank you for joining us for our first week of 'The Republic'. Our next guest will be Master Yoda. We've changed the rules a little bit: No M-rated questions, 1 question per person, and please check the reviews to make sure your question hasn't already been asked."
